I got mono really bad in high school, and not only did the school not close -- THEY MADE ME MAKE UP THE WORK I MISSED!

Mono knocked me out along with 30% of the marching band. Did school close?

.. Well, actually I don't know since I was home in bed. But you better believe we still had to show up for Friday night's football game!

I've had mono three times. "You can't get mono three times!" Huh? It's a virus. Viruses work like that. The first time I was 11. It lasted two years, no lie. They were sure I had Leukemia and my parents even made arrangements at St. Jude's (it was in the early 70s so I'd be dead for sure). Then, just like that (snapping fingers), it went away. Well, not just like that but my white cell counts started going in the proper direction. Now that I'm a parent (and grandparent), my parents must have been terrified. Assuming they loved me, that is. ;)

Mono is actually Epstein Barr (EBV).. It can be reactivated with a poor immune system because it’s in the Herpes viruses family. I know people getting reactivated EBV from the clot shots. So there’s that…

Thanks for this. Never knew chicken pox was in same family as Epstein Barr. Again, pays off to stay healthy & educate yourself about nutrition & vitamins as you won't learn much from your conventional dr. , at least I haven't.

Same family? All of this storybook narrative we have been fed, you have to go to look at their lab work, they are looking at something else and selling it with this 230 year old hypothesis from and 18th century farmer.

That was truly a fascinating question... how does a nanoscopic viral particle suddenly commandeer its host cell which is much larger and more intelligent than a dead virus to suddenly start producing proteins ? This does not make any sense at all !

Wonder what it does to Fibromyalgia? There is no real treatment that is effective, Valium just lowers the Pain a little. I take a handful of supplements. Bone building, now Covid ones, D3 and Zinc have been a staple since I discovered Earl Mendel's Vitamin Bible. C I have to watch runs BS up. Zinc is the Master Mineral whereas E is the Master Vit. But you really need to look into adding 400 mcg of Selenium works better than Melatonin and covers a wider range of body needs.

Expand full comment

C does not raise blood sugar. The molecule is so similar to the glucose molecule that it will be read as blood sugar with a glucose meter. I learned this from the Riordan clinic, they used to do very expensive tests for the level of ascorbate in the blood after an IV treatment, then discovered they could just use a glucose meter and take a reading before and immediately after the infusion. The difference was the level of ascorbate in the blood.

That's really amazing. I learned from watching a Dr. Suzanne Humphreys (sp?) presentation that animals make Vit C from glucose. And they make A LOT of it.

I recently became aware of a treatment called Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN). It treats lots of auto-immune diseases, as well as other chronic conditions, and might be worthy of your research. YouTube has lots of videos from knowledgeable/professional sources.

Expand full comment

Neurologist hasn't suggested it. I can see why, Commonly reported side effects of naltrexone include: streptococcal pharyngitis, syncope, anxiety, arthralgia, arthritis, dizziness, drowsiness, fatigue, frequent headaches, headache, joint stiffness, nasopharyngitis, nausea, nervousness, obsessive compulsive disorder, panic attack, pharyngitis, posttraumatic stress disorder, sedated state, sinus headache, vomiting, induration at injection site, malaise, pain at injection site, and tenderness at injection site. Other side effects include: muscle cramps, muscle rigidity, muscle spasm, stiffness, depression, and twitching. See below for a comprehensive list of adverse effects. Read down further, it would be on my Reaction list in just a few pills.

I know when my BS either goes up or drops. And more than 500 mg does raise my BS. The first drop to 60 scared the crap out of me. My meter reads higher, and I hate the finger pricking.

FMS HITS MUSCLES, JOINTS, NERVES Fatigue, Gastropresis already has me vomiting, Meniere's gives me Migraine's. WAY TO MANY SIDE EFFECTS. Niece has the worse form of LUPUS/LYMES and years of generic HCQ Plaquenil has damaged her kidneys/lungs.

My father was an old school MD; GP, Army Air Corp Surgeon; came home from WWII and became an eye, ear, nose and throat specialist in a small Southern town. 52 years ago when I had just graduated high school he took me aside and said, "I don't know what you think you want to do with the rest of your life but don't even consider medicine unless you're just in love with the idea of healing people because soon physicians will no longer be allowed to "practice" medicine. They will only be allowed to "prescribe" medicines and modalities as allowed by bureaucratic doctors who work for the government and have never treated patients in the real world. Before you die medicine in America will have been transformed into an abomination" he was something of a prophet.

Some truthful documented points. I would state perhaps it was happening in the late 1990s also, i state this because i recall before the scam-demic seeing a video of an old doctor or i was actually talking to one (kinda foggy right which one it was) stated how many new doctors today, they want to treat work like a 9-5 job and make their money instead of actually wanting to help people for the love of desiring to help people get better and are not interested in putting in the hours anymore as the older doctors do because it is not truly what they love as older doctors do etc.. they just want to do their shift, get paid etc and sure they might care about their patients, but are not willing to put in the work as old doctors did for the love of being a true physician.

About 95% of the people in the world have EBV in them, except it is now dormant. An illness, such as Covid or flu, can "resurrect"it, though symptoms are not usually in the same form. It is believed that Covid long haul is caused by this or the return of chicken pox, which also stays in the system and can become shingles if the immune system is overly challenged. It is also called post viral syndrome. After getting Covid, I had long haul caused by EBV. After Ivermectin which helped a lot, I still had issues, so my doctor recommended Banderol and Monolaurin. It has taken some time, but I feel nearly back. These viruses are "enveloped" which means they have a protective lipid type coating. Monolaurin helps break up that coating, while Banderol fights the virus. I could not find any research on Banderol for EBV, but my doctor says it works on it. He is privy to a lot of information from other doctors as well as of course his clinical experience.

She said the kids might be sick with it too and they should stay home from school. I sent them to school and said, "they feel fine right now and they aren't sick and even if they do, they will get better" She said she should get tested. I told her she shouldn't because refusing the test is the first step in getting out of this. Even if you in fact are sick with covid, you have an immune system and it works. And by the way, this woman got vaccinated, so she supposedly is "protected" and gets whatever benefits the vaccine gives (if any). I told her to just take some tylenol and get on with her life. You're right, people need to be mentally, physically, and spiritually stronger than they are. Our society is sick, not with covid but with blind sheepishness.

Nice job. Unless someone is sick enough to require a doctor's care, a test is not required. Overtesting is the problem, not the solution.

Expand full comment

There's a movie called "Covidland - The Lockdown" Highly recommended. One of the things the movie said is that the first part of getting out of this mess is refusing the test. There was recently a murder-suicide (husband killed wife and then shot himself) in Colorado where both deaths ended up in the covid death count. They had both tested positive for covid within the 28 day period prior to their deaths. Similar story with a motorcycle accident in FL. There's tremendous impetus to tie a positive PCR test to a death FROM ANY CAUSE. Furthermore, I know of two instances where people were in line to get the PCR test, , filled out the paperwork, waited for several hours, left and said they'd come back some other day and then days later were contacted and told they were positive -- THEY HADN'T EVEN HAD A SAMPLE TAKEN. There's strong forces that are pushing testing and then tying ANY of the positive tests to covid. 40% of all deaths happen in nursing homes. These people are dying naturally but since they tested positive, the death is attributed to covid. We've completely destroyed the firewall between dying with covid and dying from covid.

I call them all Branch Covidians.

My daughter is a nurse in a skilled care/nursing home. Over the last couple of years she has been in two different facilities. Most people in these hospitals are in very bad shape when they come in, and a great many come there to die. Almost everyone there has multiple comorbidities. Covid has run through these hospitals, but it wasn't disaster. Nurses and workers sometimes got Covid...my daughter did in Nov. 2020, and some of the patients died just as they were going to soon anyway, but the numbers weren't really more than usual pre-Covid. Perhaps Covid pushed them over the edge a bit quicker, but not necessarily. I'd bet most were reported as Covid deaths, though.

Expand full comment

I think we need to keep close close track of these cases . All my detractors keep on pointing out the 800000 “deaths from covid” in America. One of the substacks, I think it’s el gato malo’s Stack that recently boiled the numbers down to show how far off (even conservatively) that might be. Between absolute lies (like the ones you point out) plus the “deaths from covid” vs the “deaths with covid” plus the vaccine deaths that I think some are trying to say are covid19 deaths plus the fact that if early treatments were taught And practiced we’d see 60 to 85% CONSERVATIVELY below that, you get my meaning.

Expand full comment

Consider this, 7% of all covid deaths have no comorbidities. 93% of all covid deaths (or "deaths involving covid" as they are called) have at least one commorbidity. And even within that 7%, I wouldn't be surprised if the majority of the 7% are elderly and died of natural causes. I have a family member that died at nearly 100 years of age because he stopped eating and drinking in the weeks before he died. Had he tested positive for covid within those weeks, he would have been deemed a covid death.

Expand full comment

When you get a bonus for a COVID death, all deaths look like COVID deaths. 30K per is a number that I have heard from multiple sources in “healthcare”. By the way, a thing which seems to start when the medics arrive, and end when they drop you off at the hospital. Everything else is just a massive scam. There needs to be a “Let’s Go” slogan for all the young doctors out there on the vaccination bandwagon. “Let’s Go Dr Kildare”

This reminds me of a Teams conversation with a colleague in the week who was telling me about the urgent need to get tested when she found out she had been in close contact with another colleague who had tested positive; neither of them were unwell. If you were sick any longer than that you had to use your vacation time or get a doctor to put you on short term disability or you were out the door.

Expand full comment

I think people work sick all the time. As a matter of fact, if I'm sick today, I don't tell anyone because people freak out, they want PCR tests, they want quarantine and all that. I see people sick at work all the time, even today, so that hasn't changed. Unless you work for the government, most employers can't afford to continue to pay for you to stay home. And most employees, can't afford to sit home and not collect a paycheck. So people have and will continue to work sick. I found that working sick actually made me better faster.

Expand full comment

Last year I had two employees who kept getting “exposed” to the virus. This was back when the state said you had to quarantine for two weeks and we had to pay them. Funny they never got covid but all those mysterious exposures kept happening. From March to about August neither one worked a full pay period.

Expand full comment

When people in the past had an employee in the office call in sick with the flu, they didn't send everyone else home because they might have been exposed. That's not even talking about people who came into work sick. Now the whole office probably has to be tested, and possible a business shut down. There weren't mass deaths during those days. This is being treated as the second coming of the bubonic plague, and I'm not sure that it is being treated this way for health reasons.

But if she’s vaccinated, according to Dr. Yeadon, Dr. Mike Williams and a host of others, she could very easily have a compromised innate immune system due directly to the vaccine. Want the links? Alex, Steve Kirsch, has them , hey Yeadon himself is on substack as is Malone. Check out their substacks. While I have NO sympathy whatsoever for Pharma, almighty tech, MSM and Govt, I have a bit more for those individuals who thought they were doing the right thing. They could easily be in a world of hurt in a lot of ways. I have close family member who yelled at me about ivermectin being the proverbial horse med and told me to stop sending all that “internet” stuff as if to say we (Alex et al) are all fakes. Ps I was sending Peter McCullough, MD videos, and all factual data most from MD’s . Not some hill billy from backwater. But if she ever got sick I’m NOT going to lambast and judge her. She’s dead wrong but have a LITTLE sympathy.

Expand full comment

Well, first of all, she is the only one that got vaccinated. The kids and I steered clear of that. Second, she got the JnJ vax, which doesn't work off of the mRNA technology as it is designed more like a standard flu shot. She didn't get jabbed for health concerns at all, she got the vax to keep her job. Plain and simple. This was when the vax came out and she was sick as a dog when she took it. Anyway, so far they haven't pushed for boosters yet but I am keenly aware of the damage the Moderna and Pfizer two-dose mRNA vaccines do to your immune system and I know of Yeadon's work very well. Many individuals thought they were doing the right thing and were unaware of the harmful side effects because any negative vaxx news was censored or shadow banned on social media, and mainstream media. People who spoke out about negative vaccine side effects were blasted by these "fact checkers" who are just operatives for leftist. The left is pushing vaccine use and pfizer and moderna and all the PCR testing companies are happy to get behind it and profit. This is odd because democrats used to dump on all those "greedy pharmaceutical companies" and now they're in bed with them. I am sympathetic to her being sick but I have no patience for her wearing a mask, wanting to keep healthy kids home because they might be sick and not know it, wanting to get tested because she was near someone that tested positive, and wanting to go to a doctor because she's got flu symptoms. Since Mar 2020, we've known that this virus mainly affects the elderly that are sick and/or obese. My household is entirely composed of young healthy people, so when anyone under my roof gets a cold or a flu (or covid for that matter), I have no patience for hysteria.

Ok ok. Thanks for replying. I see your point. It’s like the relative of mine who yelled at me. I can see some of her dilemma. She’s being absolutely bombarded with vac misinformation (better to call it deliberately PARTIAL info, deliberately Pharma and govt and media withholding the dangers), and being manipulated to get her 10 year old vacd. So I have sympathy. But when she absolutely will not listen to any other answer and demeans the ivermectin proof as “horse dewormer”. That’s like what you are describing. Very very hard to elicit my sympathy in re people that refuse. I have THREE other close close friends that did the same. One is even an MD. On the other hand I am close friends with two MDs who do “get” it and one RN wife too. I have a personal relationship also with an MD and his wife a PA who are listening to me but they are so very pro vac in general and they haven’t yet seen anyone harmed terribly by the vac so I think they have some respect for what I am saying but they aren’t changing their stance. I respect them far more than the ones who don’t listen at all.

The mask issue is just crazy. Realistically I have seen they provide this tiny little bit of protection in some cases. But so little..... and wearing them outside? Stupid, stupid, stupid, did I say stupid?

Its difficult to speak to some people in the medical profession. They are so indoctrinated to believe that everything they are doing is unequivocally helping people. Consider this, there was a time in medical history where bloodletting was deemed good healthcare. I frankly don't care if the vaccine is saline solution, I'm not putting something in my arm that I don't believe in be it harmful or be it useless. I have taken medicines in the past and I believe some medicines do work. I also got lasik surgery for my eyes and that's a miracle that had my vision fixed. I take antihistamines when I get allergies. I've done the research, some medicine/procedures I believe in, others I do not. I just don't blindly follow medical professionals. Consider this: Fauci is a medical professional.

Our society has gone crazy over what is basically another flu strain. The research shows that unless you're elderly and sick and/or obese, you've got nothing to worry about. Go about your lives people, there's a whole world out there waiting for you to fulfill your purpose. I don't mind people telling me to stay home if I'm sick, I'd do that anyway and I'm happy to oblige. But right now, I feel 100% awesome and I'm in fantastic shape. So don't tell me to wear a mask, get a PCR test, get vaccinated, quarantine and stay home, and miss out on work, play, prayer, dining out, and enjoying my life. There are several docs out there who postulated and have written about the statistics even about measles and polio, that it wasn’t the vaccines that conquered those diseases, that primarily hygiene and nutrition beat them and the numbers were going way way down long before the vaccines ever came into existence or widespread use.

You got to be a real man and stand your ground. When I see my wife in a mask I tell her to take that ridiculous shit off her face and to "stop being a retard." I didn't let her get tested and I didn't let her keep the kids home because they "might" be sick. You got to be the beacon of rational thought. When people ask me if I'm vaccinated I tell them I got the common sense vaccine. Yesterday, I was in Target and security came up to me with a box of mask and told me I needed to wear a mask. I told him, "no thank you." He said, it's store policy. I told him, "I don't wear a mask" and then just stood my ground and continued shopping. I did the same thing in the bank when the security guard came up to me with a box of masks and told me to wear a mask. I haven't been kicked out of a store yet but I'm willing to get kicked out of a store rather than pander to some stupid mandate. Stand your ground people, you got to have balls, this includes you ladies too (at least metaphorically).

Don't even take the mask. Say "no thank you" Be nice, be calm, be respectful and say no. If they continue to push the mask, tell them "I don't wear masks." That's worked for me. Another one I've heard is, "I don't wear masks for health reasons" (reason being the mask gets filthy and is a wet substrate for all sorts of germs and nastiness and you should be freely breathing fresh air without a saliva-soaked piece of face diaper over your pie hole). If a customer challenges you, respectfully say "no." Remain calm and continue to say "no" and just stand there. There's nothing a customer can do except get mad and the more calm you remain, the more frustrated they get. These karens are trying to get a rise out of you, don't give them the pleasure. Say "no" and keep your peace. And don't get caught up in an argument about mask efficacy and justifying your position. "No" is sufficient and all you need to say.

But i get somewhat confrontational with pharma reps. They are currently promoting a “new” med that is an old repurposed glaucoma med. it temporarily adjusts for close up vision . There’s another one that’s also a repurposed glaucoma med already approved for years for eyelash growth.

Here’s where I’m going with this. These two meds were basically used off-label for this prior to FDA approval. The deep injustice? These are being approved COSMETICALLY for a non medically necessary use.

But they (pharma, govt, media, doctors etal) demean, lambast and withhold hydroxychloroquine snd ivermectin for LIFE SAVING treatment? Really? This is seriously wrong.

And on the first drug I mentioned being promoted in national

Media for treatment of presbyopia (not a medical concern for those that aren’t familiar), I asked the rep if there were any contraindications or side effects. She dismissed my question. Really? I may be wrong but I thought that was one reason why it was no longer in use for glaucoma. It certainly has side effects when used internally. Maybe the drops aren’t quite as concerning.

I used to think like you, but now that I currently have covid, I can say it's nothing like the flu, bro.

Covid is debilitating and makes you feel like you have zero energy and severe fatigue. It becomes a Herculean effort just to get out of bed. You're huffing and puffing walking five feet. Then, there's the fever and chills that don't go away for long periods of time. Somehow, you become progressively worse, not better, over time. It's a bio-weapon.

Just saying, you can't equate it to the flu. The flu is a walk in the park compared to this.

Not saying you should get vaxxed either, though. Get yourself some ivermectin, just in case and you'll be better off than I was.

In my case, I started taking quercetin along with C, D, and Zinc and that helped a lot, but I'm still only maybe a 5-6 out of 10. Still recovering. And I'm not that old.

Expand full comment

Hopefully the omicron variant is much milder. I'm pretty sure I have a very early case of Covid--I had previously estimated it was mid-October 2019, but some correspondence I found more recently puts it at mid-September 2019. My sister who lives in Oklahoma said people were getting sick in September and October 2019 in that area also. It is believed that the virus emerged Wuhan in August 2019. Anyway, I was almost turning 71 when I got it, and I felt like I weighed double, could hardly walk from the living room to my bed when it came on, I had a dry cough that made me choke, for a week, I may have had chills for part of one-day but I don't recall a fever and I didn't have breathing difficulties aside from the cough. However, I couldn't eat or drink anything for more than three days, and was able a drink or take things slowly over the next week. Water tasted terrible, although don't recall losing my sense of smell, per se. I lost 12 pounds in 10 days between dehydration and lack of calories. It took about three weeks to recover. I couldn't take my supplements during worst of the time I was sick, but up until then, for years I had been taking such things as quercetin, zinc, vitamin D3, vitamin C, NAC, R-Lipoic Acid, vitamin E, vitamin K, Pyridoxal-5- phosphate, vitamin B complex, ginkgo, methylcobalamin, folate, etc.

My husband had a similar experience end of Jan/early Feb 2020. Never saw him that sick in 18 years. The dry cough was relentless. And the fatigue. Never a guy to take meds, I bought Nyquil and other over the counter remedies so he could get relief from the coughing and get some sleep. Covid hadn't yet morphed into the "Black Plague" of Team Fauci/Gates/Schwaub's dreams.

Like you, it took him a few weeks to get over it. He was 69. In excellent health. No smoking, only occasional alcohol, eats clean, exercise regimen, daily vitamins for decades. I didn't even get a sniffle - despite a history of bad asthma. So much for distancing and masks.

I understand that others' immune systems might not fare as well. However, common sense and innate human preservation would have prevailed. People would have stayed home if they had symptoms. Just like they did with earlier such diseases.

We never needed the 24/7 social programming campaign to make people view other humans as dangerous. Seemingly preplanned tools like stickers on store floors and authoritarian overhead announcements, plexiglass, popped up almost overnight. Without tv and social media it would have passed - like other viruses.

To me, it's just another ploy to individuate Humanity and transfer trust to "Big Brother." Marxism and Totalitarianism are held at bay only with constant vigilance of our Freedom.

Notice how earlier in the year epidemiologists admitted the 6 foot distance was just arbitrary and based on speculation, not any testing, and that 3 feet distance, which is what they first recommended, is probably just as good (or just as useless), yet I was in CVS yesterday and they still have the six-foot markers down, and how many restaurants had to suffer further lack of space because of 6 feet separation instead of 3 feet.

They are trying to scare people with Omicron, even though it results in 80% less hospitalization than Delta, hoping to drag out the pandemic to justify sending out mass mail-in ballots for the midterms, and discourage people from voting in person, all the better to cheat you with, my dear.

There really needs to be a Congressional investigation of both CDC and NIH as to their overstepping their boundaries. Why are you vaxed?

Dr Mike Yeadon posted on El Gato Malo substack “Following quote by Mike Yeadon PhD, a former Pfizer or Pharma exec who has been speaking out for a long time now: "Spike is intrinsically able to initiate blood coagulation. Also to trigger the “complement cascade”, a part of the innate immune system. By causing many cell types, such as those lining every blood vessel, to take up & express that spike protein, those tagged cells appear to our immune system to be infected by SARS-CoV-2 virus.

Guess what’s next? Yes; our immune system then attack those tagged cells. Destroying blood vessel linings amplifies the blood clots and often blocks the smallest blood vessels, in lung, Heart, brain etc

Those tissues then begin to die off.

Heart attacks, myocarditis, pulmonary embolisms, strokes / brain blood clots, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), disseminated intracellular vascular coagulation (DIC) & so much more.

70% of adverse events following covid19 vaccination are.....can you guess??

Yes: thromboembolic in underlying pathology.

I sadly wasn’t fainting surprised. I’d got over my shock in Nov / Dec 2020, when drafting a petition to the European Medicines Agency.

Dr Wolfgang Wodarg & I already had a very bad series of premonitions, based on the basic structure & function of these novel, untested interventions.

The more I learn, the more frightened I am. I’d be generally terrified to be injected by any of these things. It probably won’t kill you. “Only” 1:1000 actually die. Perhaps 1:100 get non lethal adverse effects, some of which won’t mend. That much risk of some degree of permanent disability / pain is a dreadful trade to no utility at all.

Please, do not expose yourself to these agents, and defend the rights of others to make their own decisions.

On top of this, what about unknown longer term side effects?

Best wishes,

Mike”

Now that the FDA EUA'ed Pfizer's magic pill.....that should put the need for "vaxxes" to rest. But Will it??

Expand full comment

Pfizermectin approval shows us that innocent people had to die without getting ivermectin so Pfizer could make more money from a worse version of the cheaper drug.

Expand full comment

I try to be very rational about things COVID-related, but my anger towards Pfizer is so deep that I fear if I were on my deathbed and their new pill could save me, I would deny it. They just reek of evil and I don't want to be anywhere near that company or their products. Again, I recognize this is the one area I'm being irrational, but when they put kids at risk for the sake of profit, I struggle not being passionate. To go after the most innocent among us... And they're trying to do it to infants next! I just can't stomach it.

Expand full comment

I absolutely understand your position... I just said to my husband "I'm not so sure I'd take the Pfizer pill" and he looked at me curiously. And while I feel this is probably good news in some manner (having an "improved" therapeutic for home use) I am so soured by their greed and deception and omissions on their vaccine. I just wonder what they would be hiding about this too...even though it could save my life.

It's horrible to feel that conflicted.

Why would you want to have anything to do with Pfizer? They have had spent Billions of dollars in fines and lost court cases. They are a bigger criminal than J&J and Monsanto combined!

My favorite local talk radio shows are now sponsored by Pfizer. So I have to listen to the propaganda all day. Of some concern to me is the fact that one commercial suggests folks “talk to your pharmacist about Comirnaty”. A recent unscientific poll (mine) revealed NO pharmacies in my area (central CT) have Comirnaty. They usually don’t know what I’m talking about. I thought vaxx companies couldn’t advertise? Especially how can they push a vaxx that doesn’t even exist in the US???

I do not think you are being irrational...i think if you were okay with it, THAT would be irrational.. Knowing what we know about Pfizer and their criminal history (Oxycodone, etc) trial falsifications (past not this one), you would be irrational if you were NOT angry, and NOT hesitant about taking anything from them. Emotions were put into us for some reason, by God or Evolution or whatever you believe...but they are there for a REASON.

Seriously. I am so with you on this. And my anger is very deep. Yesterday I was physically shaking after I watched this: https://www.canadiancovidcarealliance.org/media-resources/the-pfizer-inoculations-for-covid-19-more-harm-than-good-2/

Expand full comment

I think there is something to that.... I think the protocols are still for people to isolate until it is too late and once then hospitalized the virus has become too rampant within the lungs and it's almost as if the patient is at a point of no return. What's shameful is that there are early therapeutics that are not being administered, and some of those treatments mocked and doctors demonized for using what is available to help their patients.

The virus will not "save" us. Proper treatment and the government staying OUT OF the conversations that happen between doctors and patients for their own health and well-being will. Shameful, and people like Fauci and Collins need to be severely punished and held accountable.

Pfizer's pill approval should end all mandates according to law, oh wait, rules don't matter anymore, just obedience !

Expand full comment

It should also by law end the EUA for the vaccines themselves. That's why there has been no approved alternative, which includes treatments, to this point. Rules of EUA only allow an EUA to exist if there are no other alternative interventions or therapies.

Expand full comment

There are alternatives. They’ve just been maligned.

Expand full comment

Right, and unapproved in the process.

Expand full comment

What the justification for an EUA now? And the actual “approved” Pfizer vaccine (Cominarty) is not available

Expand full comment

Can empathize with those that can't afford to lose their job more than the college thing. If my kids are going to a college that requires it, they can choose a college that doesn't instead. If they want the vax and to go funding college on their own, well then, that's their choice as adults.

The OSHA mandate is very likely not to survive the Supreme Court, but even then, it at least does provide for a testing requirement in lieu of getting the jab. Go ahead and test me. I don't care. Just don't force me to get the jab if I don't want it.

Expand full comment

Issue I see (and I work for a Fortune 500 company with a vaccination rate just over 50%) is that the testing option will be practically infeasible under the OSHA proposal, which will force companies to adopt vaccine mandates. There isn’t enough testing capacity to make it viable and Biden and his commie advisors know it.

Expand full comment

My husband is likely losing his job over it. His big employer says testing is only for those with exemptions…. 85 percent vaxxed in his office so i think once they found that out they went ahead with a hard mandate.

They may have but it's a very difficult hiring environment out there right now and it will be a real challenge for them to replace those folks and their productivity. Cutting up to 15% of your staff, unless they think they're overstaffed anyway and don't need them, in which case they might get laid off anyway, is going to be a very expensive and difficult replacement process.

Expand full comment

Nothing wrong with moving for opportunity. A lot of people won't go to where the opportunity is and stay stuck in the process. Sometimes things don't work out as hoped or expected. I will say I have relocated for work before and that the state and area I was going to was pretty solidly red was a significant part of the decision making. Political risk, that is ensuring you live where property and liberty is respected, is an underestimated consideration, as you may unfortunately be learning now. Never the less, you can make mistakes and not be an idiot. Only an idiot if you don't learn from it.

Expand full comment

Expand full comment

Come on back to Georgia. There are plenty of jobs here and very little mask wearing or mandates.

Expand full comment

The federal government is actually financing the testing for companies that offer it. If the company doesn't offer it it's because they want to force you to get jabbed, not because they need to force you to. I'm not sure what would make it infeasible for a Fortune 500 company.

Expand full comment

Where is that in the ETS doc if you know? I printed out the whole thing and was going thru it when the original stay order happened so I just put it aside on my desk

Expand full comment

Having to test 3,000 employees per week spread out through multiple states is a nightmare

Expand full comment

I would think being spread out makes it less of a bottleneck nightmare. It's also not ideal to be put in a position to test unvaccinated workers at each location once per week, but I'd think it's less of a problem then firing 3,000 employees and having to replace them and their productivity quickly. Remember, companies are still going to have to test their employees that receive exemptions (medical or religious), so they'll still need to have the testing apparatuses in place. Might as well use them to test all the unvaxxed in that case than fire most of them. That is, again, unless the company has decided it's their moral obligation to their community to force their employees to get vaxxed.

Expand full comment

I view it as it’s easier to mandate and risk the loss than try to accommodate testing for employees. The OSHA rule had all sorts of onerous record keeping requirements, mask rules, can’t do self tests, just a lot that makes it easier for companies to justify a mandate and blame OSHA

Expand full comment

Fight testing. It’s a land mine also. Several reasons. FALSE positives and the test swabs have a carcinogen inn them (Ethylene oxide I think it’s called).

Expand full comment

False positives don't worry me as it means I get sent home, not fired. EO doesn't worry me either as it's a common sterilization used on pretty much all medical equipment, including needles used for injections, blood draws, piercings, etc. There's a lot better and more data on it's near and long term safety record than there is the COVID vaccines.

That said, I'd call getting tested a personal choice just like getting vaxxed. I personally would make the choice to get tested if necessary.

Expand full comment

There are problems with testing too. We need to fight the tests also. False positives abound.

Pfizer/Moderna admitted that 2 shots is insufficient against Omicron. So anyone that’s not vaxed yet will have to get 3 shots which will take 7 months. By then, Omicron will be gone and there will be a new variant. Seven months ago Delta wasn’t even a thing here in the US. So in 7 months we had 2 variants. If I wanted to get the vax now, I’d be fully vaxed by July 2022 and by then we could be two more variants away from Omicron. What are the chances of the vaccine working against that?

It's frightening, really.

It certainly can, that's true. But usually full adults get somewhat disabused of some of that fantasy after living and working in the real world for some years. This is again where the modern corporate leadership talk a big game about diversity and inclusion, but what they really mean is only the identities and ideas that are politically approved are welcome. Easier to go along and keep getting paid than to stand on principle in the unemployment line.

makes sense to me, i hear they plan on forcing the flu shot from 2007 strain next..because science.

Expand full comment

Yeah, funny thing about that is I used to get the flu shot every year because they actually came to the office and did it for free. I never questioned it much, just figured if it might help me avoid getting sick and missing work, why not? Thanks to the blatant absence of rational consistency, ever moving goal posts and changing definitions in order to force the "facts" to fit the response rather than the other way around, I've become much more educated on how our public health system works..... or should I say fails? Any actual curious person had little other choice but to try to make sense of what made no sense. And in the process I've learned that, while the flu shot is mostly harmless, it's also mostly useless for people like me and most people - not necessarily everybody. There is no one size fits all response to such medical interventions and anybody pushing such a thing is either ignorant or a charlatan. MD's and the so called "experts," in general, aren't about following "the science," they're about following the money and seeking acceptance and job security....just like most everybody else. Doesn't mean you should consider their advise, but you definitely should not blindly trust their advise either.

I don't think they've even begun to experience the fallout from the damage they've done to the public trust. I'm still trying to figure out if that will mostly be a good or bad thing in the long run.

Expand full comment

Ask your employer to sign a contract that gives you a liability claim if you get injured. You know, because the shots are so safe and effective.

Expand full comment

I don't think they'd do it because I don't think they have to do it. Currently things like the OSHA mandate is giving employers with over 100 employees the cover to mandate without assuming any liability themselves.

Expand full comment

Of course they wouldnt. If the pharm cabal that creates these placebo cures wont accept any legal responsibility why should the employer? Name any other product that blames its failure on people who dont use it. I will wait🙄

Expand full comment

If only it was just a placebo, I'd be happier to comply. Once you see how carefully they've navigated the EUA and how they've manipulated it in order to try to force the vaccines on everybody and simultaneously protect everybody doing the forcing from any liability, it become really obvious why the public health response has been this ham-handed mass vaxx approach. It is clearly not about health.

Stay with me through this and please read to the end. I remember in grade school we visited a Pepsi plant and at the end we could drink an unlimited supply of pop. It was a bad idea to give grade school boys an unlimited supply. I was not really a soda pop drinker because it would hit my stomach hard. As we were drinking to our hearts desire, we started burping because of the pop and started laughing. We then found we had an audience of all of the girls in the class and so we start burping even more. We did not respect the teacher that was in charge that was trying to get us to stop so we just kept on and I must admit I was presenting some great authority in the burping arena. An older gentleman that was a parent of one of the students came into the room and we all respected him because he meant what he said when he spoke. I gave a loud burp and he looked at me with his disapproving look and told me, “you’ve done you’re funny”. He said it in a way that let me know not to do it again, and it was the end of the situation. There was not one more burp and there was complete silence in that room. With all that said, it is blatantly obvious that we have a boy in the room that won’t shut up and won’t stop (fauci). It is now time that we come into the room and look at Fauci and tell him, “ Tony, you’ve done your funny”.

I'm 76, the wife's 68. She contracted the Red Chinese flu just before Thanksgiving at a gathering with mostly vaxxed women, some of whom had minor symptoms then but only mentioned that fact later, after the get together. Anyway, she then passed it to me & I started coughing 3 days after she did; a home rapid test and subsequent hospital PCR confirmed the cases. Without the tests, we might have mistaken it for a mild head cold, no fever, no headaches, just cough and 2 days of significant fatigue. I should mention that, once we realized what was up, we called on our great Scottish friend, Ivor McTin. Not sure whether the whole thing was a nothingburger because of him or because the wife and I have fortified ourselves for a long time with Vit D3 and C, quercetin, zinc, magnesium, etc. At any rate, we both got real immunity with a minimum of struggle or stress. This hasn't cured the psychosis afflicting family or friends, though. We tell them we can neither receive nor give COVID and they still keep away from our house and wear their idiotic masks, even when outdoors!

The sadness to me is that I read more and more about these Vacs CAUSING immune system destruction (see my other comments), it’s not JUST a denial of natural immunity. But see the FIRST part of my statement “they get PAST the body’s natural defenses”. The mechanism includes a destruction of the innate immune system.

FEAR

I drove about 400 miles yesterday working. Had a lot of windshield time to think. Biden is our Fear Monger in Chief because this isn't about the virus it is about the 22 elections and justification for sending out mail in unverified ballots to be harvested by Democrat political operatives. Fear is a dangerous thing. Roosevelt at the beginning of WW II said, "The only thing to fear is fear itself". AND HE WAS A DEMOCRAT. Ex Special Force members will tell you of training to avoid fear because it will get you killed. So why do so many Americans buy the fear?

For starters they are worried about dying and are uncertain of the afterlife. But even more pervasive is laziness and poor self confidence in their ability to think. So go with what the medical authorities say because I don't want to put the effort into digging out the truth or because I am not smart enough to do so. Take the easy way out. Don't think! Go with the "experts". Get yourself killed!

FYI. I arrived home safely but tired after a 14 hour day.

We always had the power my dear (yes, it's the Wizard of Oz!). From The Atlantic:

Omicron Is the Beginning of the End

"... one useful social-scientific marker is when people have gotten used to living with the ongoing presence of a particular pathogen. By that definition, the massive surge of Omicron infections that is currently coursing through scores of developed countries without eliciting more than a half-hearted response marks the end of the pandemic."

In other words, all we have to do is stop responding to the hysteria and the pandemic will "disappear". Just like Dorthy, we always had the power!
