I fear we'll never return to the Good Ole Days when parents smeared Vicks Vap-o-rub on the chests of snotty offspring and ladled chicken soup into them. Another treatment was a day home from school, on the couch with endless "Three Stooges". (I personally think Curly episodes a more effective therapeutic than Shemp.)
The fear porn that a hypothetical tripledemic COULD "crash hospital systems" is ridiculous. The thing that nearly crashed hospitals was the fact that beds were being taken up needlessly to follow the "Remdesivir then intubate" sure-death instruction manual, in order to collect unconscionable bounties being offered through the CARES Act handouts and CMS waivers.
It's just fucking cold viruses and all that. You see, when they scientize things by making a fancy acronym (e.g., 'RSV'), they can use that to sell you shit that you don't need.
It's as simple as that. Combining profiteering and 'science' do not make for healthy minds or bodies.
The idea of being infected simultaneously by several viruses, as with the plethora of other unfounded, unscientific measures over the past three years, is another example of extreme Marxist propaganda aimed at cementing global control. 5000 years of modern human history , estimated 110 billion humans have passed through this stage and eight billion currently occupying the planet. All of this in spite of meddling governments. There have been great developments in medical technology and treatments but they have have not come from governments. The last three years revealed for all to see the degree of real evil and lust for power in the world. All in plain sight. Government has never been your mama and we should resist all attempts at Big Government propaganda and control.
YES! Finally a tiny admission of actual science from a mainstream journal. What a world this has become, where lies rule, individual rights are heresy, nearly every institution is aligned against us, and speaking or publishing the truth can get you just short of an immediate electric shock to the genitals from the gatekeepers of COVID dogma. There's been so much gone wrong that it's hard to figure out where to even begin.
I'm subscribed to eugyppius and recommend his Substack to anyone interested in the science, as well as the politics, of the pandemic. He lives in Germany and his articles have expanded my perspective well beyond the usual "Trump or no Trump" that discussions of the pandemic in America so often devolve into.
And the White House just had a press conference with Fauci and Jha preaching over and Over and OVER that everyone needs to go get their COVID vaccines, boosters, and flu vaccine - Jha even used the “that’s why we have two arms@ line again - and it’s the best, and the *only* way to end the pandemic.
Based on the comments, more and more are no longer buying what they are selling and it seemed like an increasingly desperate sales pitch. Even brought up masking and mandates in the presser.
There's this disease of the mind out there where people think that there's a way to manage risk until it is zero. There's a "Vision Zero" campaign across the country to get traffic fatalities down to zero. The problem is that this thinking is so flawed. There's risk in driving and there always will be and with diminishing returns, pushing safety to an infinite value is just delusional. There's a risk you'll get covid and if you do, there's only two things that will happen to you: you'll either live or you'll die. And there's more to life than not dying, so go out without a mask, without a vaxx, and without PCR testing or hand sanitizer and live your best life.
This is about control by dems /libs they don't want to lose the stranglehold they had during the Covid scam. It's always the end of the world with these people and the disappointing thing is folks listen to these scam artists aka dems

Although it was written as an argument against hygiene theater, particularly lockdowns, when patients and friends ask me for reasons not to get the vax I can add it to the laundry list. I don’t believe our country will recover from the catastrophic consequences of the biomedical tyranny. Besides, it will not move the needle for the majority of the US. Between Mass Formation Psychosis and the welfare state’s creating at least a 50/50 citizenry of perpetual adolescence, no amount of true science or logic will reverse the current mindset, fear, or damage still to be experienced.
