Again, you misrepresent those you dismiss.

"They are not the Died Suddenly fantasy of young people collapsing en masse."

NO ONE is saying young people are dying "en masse". We ARE saying that young (and usually otherwise healthy) people seem to be dying more frequently than we've seen reported in the past. That they're dying disproportionately, but not necessarily "en masse".

This is akin to your summary dismissal of 2020 vote fraud on the grounds that there's no evidence of "widespread" vote fraud. But given the narrow margins of victory in just FOUR swing states that determined the outcome, it didn't NEED to be "widespread" in order for it to work. It only needed to be "targeted". Which it WAS. But you refuse to look there.

You do good work, Alex, but your penchant for using straw men to summarily dismiss counterarguments you don't like but can't rebut persuasively does not do your credibility any favors.

I’ve been hearing about a lot of death and disease this year that would have been considered extremely rare in the past. Who had ever heard of an eleven year old with a heart attack? Before 2021, deaths of youngish men (40-60) from heart disease were unusual. Now it seems common. Anecdotes, but anecdotes can become data at some point.

Expand full comment

The worst part is the normalization of adverse reactions. They literally call it the "FAUCI OUCHIE" but pretend side effects are rare.

Immediate side effects are one thing. The side effects months later are the real issue.

Your comments are spot on Andrew!!

I've made this same comment before, but I'll repeat: Why would Life Insurance company's CEO's go on record with their shareholders saying deaths in working age people (18-64) are up between 10-40%? These CEO's then go on to explain that a 10% increase is considered a "Black Swan event", meaning it only happens every 100 years or so, and a 40% increase never ever happens.

In addition, using US data from 2020 and 2021 is completely useless. Birx (aka "The Scarf" as Rush used to say) admits that they were coding every death as "died of Covid" when they knew 94% of the supposed Covid deaths, had an average of greater than 4 co-morbidities. So most US deaths were most likely "died with Covid".

Lastly, I am in my late 50's and I know of 11 people, none older than 64 and the youngest 32 and 33, who have all died of massive heart attacks since April 2021. These are not people I "know of". These are people i know personally through work or in my personal life. That is not normal and anyone with common sense could tie these deaths directly to the death jabs rollout.

I personally know three "senior" women who were diagnosed with Alzheimers and severely disabled or died within a year. This timeline is not normal. All were healthy and vital before being vaxed and boosted.

Mike Leach is not young (age 61) but sadly died Monday after a massive heart attack last weekend. Two journalists died suddenly at the World Cup. Maybe all three had undiagnosed long-standing cardiac disease. Factually, Leach and the deceased print journalist were vaccinated. Just wish autopsies were performed, and summary findings made public. That way, speculation could be confirmed or ended.

You can die OF the WuFlu if you have it, even if it had no bearing on your demise, but they'll be damned if they'll say you died OF the jabs even if you did have the jabs, and boosters.

Further, a possible explanation for the continuing excess mortality may be related to the Died Suddenly. My theory is that the vax (and C19 itself?) is damaging to the cardiovascular system. And that this can lead to sudden deaths or, when one is also sick for another reason, death also from too many co-morbidities (the extra burden of the weaken cardio). The hypothesis includes the idea that mRNA does more damage than other things (eg, prior C19 in an un-vax-ed person).

What will it take? I’m unvaxxed and never got Covid. My brother, who is three years older (61), and fully vaxxed and boosted, has bought into the gaslighting “thankfully we got vaccinated, because the Covid we had would have been worse if we didn’t.” He’s had Covid once and his wife has had it twice, both since getting vaxxed. He had an aortic aneurysm in September and had open heart surgery to repair it. During the procedure, the surgeon noted that his blood was very thin and seemed oily. They gad to lower his body temp down to continue the surgery. The physician couldn’t explain it.

I know how to explain it, but there’s no getting through to them. No facts suffice. Belief is enough for them, their own circumstances be damned.

Pretty much all they have to do is open a pre-COVID Biology textbook, find the chapter on viruses, and read it: Viruses are parasites which have been around at least as long as the most primitive bacteria, they cannot survive outside of host, sunlight will kill them almost instantly, respiratory viruses are spread primarily through water vapor, they mutate quickly, becoming less deadly and more infectious over time, up to one-third of any host population will never get infected, our immune systems are very effective at fighting them, and once they have been identified by our immune system, they must either mutate or become extinct. I've sadly come to the conclusion that all those in public health, politics, media, and the pharm industry who unequivocally embraced The Narrative will never reverse course. To do so would make them look stupid (at best) or criminal (at worst.) They will always have an answer for the failures of the official covid response: Vaccines have failed? Too many people are unvaxxed or are skipping the recommended boosters. Masks didn't work? Not enough people were wearing them. Lockdowns didn't work? We didn't lock down hard enough. It will only end when the majority quit listening.

You have done an admirable job researching this, Alex. And you are putting yourself in danger by speaking on it publicly. I respect your “truth usually falls somewhere in the middle” pragmatism, but the more ink spilled on this topic, the more I feel that you are projecting. This does not fall in the middle. This is a huge conspiracy. There is no common sense, no following data, and there will be no admission of wrongdoing. To do so would be to loosen their grip. MRNA technology has been waiting in the wings to be introduced on a mass scale. Too many industries stand to profit. Surveillance has been increasing since the Patriot Act. Too many billionaire eugenicists and NGOs have been telegraphing their plans for a digital ID surveillance state. There is a sovereign debt crisis all over the world, and nations’ economies will start collapsing soon. This is all part of a plan to usher in new tech, new digital programmable currency (CBDC), and new shots to keep compliance and surveillance intact. It is not about health. It is about compliance. Maybe your reach could be used to help bring awareness to the next part of the battle: fighting CBDCs. We must not adopt them. All freedom and liberty will be lost if we do.

You're correct in that it's civil lawsuits which will turn this around. But big pharma and public officials are well-protected. Big pharma's lawyers did their homework and had their clients insulate themselves from fraud by disclosing all of their test results and reporting all harmful side-effects to the FDA in their EUA (Emergency Use Authorization) application -- you know, the 500,000 page behemoth that they wouldn't let us see for 75 years (thankfully that decision was overturned!). This would effectively put all the blame on that hapless and corrupt government agency -- and the financial burden of historic cash settlements on the taxpayers.

The way to beat it, in my opinion, would be a showing that the FDA was so infested with corrupt, big pharma controlled bureaucrats who were more interested in the financial health of their sponsors (just look where these regulatory agencies' funding comes from) than the physical health of the Americans they're supposed to be looking out for, that it was essentially an arm of the pharmaceutical giants.

As far as prosecuting individuals, there's the concept of "qualified immunity" for government officials acting in their official capacity. I don't have time to go into that right now, but it makes it tough to sue people like Fauci and and Birx. Gates? Hmm. Better lawyer up, Bill.

I feel like continuing to discredit "both sides" is hard to do when one side is seeing elevated excess deaths in the working-age demographic for quite some time. I've followed Ed Dowd for quite a while and regardless of how I feel about him, the numbers are undeniable. Do I think Died Suddenly was hyperbolic at times? Yes, but the overall mortality increase and the vaccine side effects we are not allowed to discuss are shocking.

Thanks for all your reporting and continuing the conversation. I just think some humility would be helpful for you.

Expand full comment

What I can't fathom is why Alex would contend that "died suddenly" is a wild conspiracy theory, when he himself has pointed this phenomenon out in the past. The death rate among people age 18-49 has increased by a LOT in the heavily vaccinated countries for which data is available. The fact that the baseline death rate is so low to begin with - these are not people who normally die - makes it seem less significant. But that doesn't mean that it IS less significant.

"[...]High-income countries in the Pacific Rim like Australia and Japan (as well as Canada, to a lesser extent) also avoided deaths by locking down early and hard. "

Where is the evidence for this affirmation? This is what gets me, Alex. You criticize the bureaucracy for its lies and coercion but then repeat demonstrably false propaganda. Japan, for one, didn't lock down, rather they only required masking everywhere (and 99% are still masking, so pitiful). Restaurants and bars remained open (with virus-stomping curfews!!😂) throughout 2020 amd 2021. PM Abe (RIP) was lambasted by WaPo for not locking down, which I believe you've mentioned before. Sure, Oceania locked down, but still 80% of the people went to work in "essential industries", people broke lockdown, etc. There's no such thing as a hermetic lockdown that can stop the spread of an airborne virus, 99% of whose particles are under .5microns in size.

In your otherwise excellent reporting, I hope you'll refrain from spouting government propaganda like "locking down early works", lest we find ourselves in the same situation again.

You make a good point here. There are lots of countries that really didn't do much of anything and had near zero affect from covid in the first year or so and most of them still. These tend to be but are not entirely (eg Japan) poor countries. Why? My best speculation is that they have experienced similar viruses in the past, but I've never seen anyone really take up this issue, which is puzzling.

Expand full comment

To be fair, I noticed that the Japanese people were wearing face masks for decades, long before COVID.

Indeed, people would wear them in public when sick, so in peak flu season you might see 10% of people wearing masks, but nothing like what's been going on now for nearly 3 years. Moreover, given masks' inability to stop the spread of even the flu, it turns out that going out in public when sick--mask or not--is pretty thoughtless, but given east Asia's obsessive work culture, it's not surprising people won't take a day or two off to get better. Btw, check WHO's 2019 meta-analysis on the efficacy of masks, conducted before masking was a political issue whatsoever, which indicated there was zero evidence for their efficacy.
