Bush's DHS has morphed into another Orwellian entity that is simply preying on US citizens. As the Congress changes from career parasites to true patriots over the next few general elections, the DHS should be completely defunded and disbanded, along with just about every other captured federal agency. These clowns are the greatest source of insecurity for the average American citizen.

The other problem is that these overeducated useless people in these departments literally have nothing to do, but ensure their job security. We could probably fire 60% of the federal workforce and not one person outside of Washington DC would notice.

I had an ex who worked for EPA. She freely admitted that many of the people employed full time were only needed for their expertise a couple of times a year. The rest of the year they went on backpacking trips and did stuff like run for mayor in their town.

And this is nothing new. The federal bureaucracies have been full of loafing, time serving idiots since at least Roosevelt's day. The 60s and 70s saw a big boom in that department. And civil servants have career tenure if they survive the probationary period, which used to be three years. Only in the first year can they be canned for any reason at all.

Trying to fire an egregious goof off is truly a "federal case". But this is nothing new. It's just a giant ball of crud that grows by the year.

If everyone in our fed gov was fired for goofing off there would be no one left. Unfortunately, no one can cast that stone, except the voters, and we only hire the bosses of the ‘goof-offs’.

We did have a President who worked tirelessly, for free, because he loved this country. We may never see another like DJT. 😢

Yep. Been goin on a long time. The wide halls of the Dept of Interior building were packed for hours in the morning and afternoon with Interior employees doing nothing but chatting up each other. That was in the summer of 1970!!

My first and only experience working for the government (Highway Dept, MT) was tough, I was 19 and couldn't believe how little actual work we did. Not someone I would trust to write a factual article ever. They are both nasty, far left leaning activists who have been called out before for their bottom feeding tactics on Twitter. She freely admitted (gleeful even) going after Twitter posters she did not like, finding out their identity, looking up their personal info via her NBC contacts and attacking them where they work and live. Ruining lives and livelihoods. Tucker called her out specifically over a year ago and I was curious so I looked her up. People like that, in my opinion, operate from a place of extreme mental illness.

Bush the younger spearheaded the charge of government surveillance, and taking away due process. At the time liberals warned us that the patriot act and the DHS were a direct threat to liberty. Conservatives, including myself poo pooed it, because terrorism. Now liberals have joined in, and are silent about the government surveillance state. They are all in on it. So as citizens were basically fucked, both parties want to be able to do whatever they want, the hell with the constitution, when it’s something they think is just. Just happens that in this current cycle the dems are worse than the republicans, but that will change again. Until these agencies are disbanded, the surveillance state will continue to grow and our freedoms will continue to erode, no matter whose in charge.

It constantly astounds me that the US government apparatchiks so blatantly disregard the Constitution. We truly need fear government overreach. Government has no role is deciding what is "misinformation" or any other Orwellian double speak definition. They also have to compete in the market place of ideas. Sadly, every organ of the government today has proven itself to be made up of liars, thieves and charlatans of the worst order, particularly the very institutions created to defend us, the DOJ and the FBI. Democrats have weaponized every Executive department, DHS, DOD, Treasury, Energy, on down the list to persecute Americans who disagree with the Biden narrative. And now they clutch at the straw of January 6, which will no doubt be shown to be a farce, as bad as the Russia collusion hoax. God help us. The current administration is actively working against us. It is not incompetence, or poor judgment, it is intentional. Destroy Middle America's ability to make a living without government largess, disarm the populace, silence critics as Biden and his cronies pack in the millions of tax dollars through green new deal scams, that are little more than science fiction solutions. It always comes down to power and money. Taking our power and money and giving it to the elites. Sure hope the country is awake to this and makes the changes necessary, beginning in November. God help us, help ourselves.

Alex,

I've found that when I copy a quote from your page that summarizes the story better, and use that as a headline I get a better response. I just posted this four minutes ago and have five likes and five retweets.

"A senior Department of Homeland Security official planned to meet Twitter executives in April to discuss potential censorship “partnerships” between the federal government and Twitter, a leaked government memo reveals."

If the federal government has its knickers in a twist over 'misinformation', it might start by examining federally-approved statements that "this will only take fifteen days" and that the public could expect "a lifetime of immunity" from these "vaccines" - which, by the way, weren't even vaccines according to the definition of the word as commonly understood.

The acrid smell invading my nostrils is the stench of federal knickers on fire. Those who inhabit glass house shouldn't throw stones. Get your own house in order, federal nannies... THEN we'll talk.

Check your State Department of Health websites for meetings & minutes. Ours in Wa. changed wording in documents pertaining to AIDS camps that had been set up years ago. Yes, like mandatory concentration camps for people unwilling to adhere to medication protocol or social distancing. The department claimed it was long overdue to rewrite this document & omit certain criteria & wordings that don’t apply anymore. They basically omitted “AIDS” from the papers and made it relevant for any pandemic.

The Department of Health has LEGAL AUTHORITY to basically imprison individuals that they see as a threat, when a pandemic is declared. Police & national guard, etc. may be used & DOH has authority to use them to accomplish this. I had NO IDEA this could happen. This is Wa. State, but I’m sure it’s nationally.

Again, they played down the timing of the change in wording , etc. Thankfully, we still have a few paying attention to secret shenanigans brought forth by our governmental departments. We were all watching the meetings for the upcoming vote on adding Covid vaccines to the school list of vaccines. That’s how this info. was found initially.

Thankfully, our DOH ( after creating a special “ focus group” 😂), came to the conclusion that there wasn’t enough positive data to support mandatory Covid vaccines for school children.

( that, and a few thousand emails and protestors outside their office windows)

DHS ordered border patrol agents they are not allowed to talk to press. The admin does not want the American people to know how much of a crisis the border is. A crisis it is.
