From vox.com:

"When inventor Frederick Banting discovered insulin in 1923, he refused to put his name on the patent. He felt it was unethical for a doctor to profit from a discovery that would save lives. Banting’s co-inventors, James Collip and Charles Best, sold the insulin patent to the University of Toronto for a mere $1. They wanted everyone who needed their medication to be able to afford it."

Greedy bastards, are the pharma cartel.

When a Type 1 diabetic's insulin is not on their health insurance's formulary (after Eli Lilly signed a deal with insurance companies), they end up paying almost $1,000 per month for insulin.

Type 1 diabetics can live for about two weeks with no insulin before death occurs.

Greedy bastards.

Hopefully Alex's case is so solid that no amount of money can buy a win for the other side.

Godspeed, Mr. Berenson. Godspeed.

All these lawsuits are overwhelming. Everyone is suing everyone and even the judges have a political agenda. Your lawsuit is awesome if it can expose something or make an impactful difference- please don’t let them silence you with a settlement !

They are in trouble for not being honest with millions of people. They told everyone it was safe and effective mRNA shots. Maybe Veterinarian can make Rooster 🐓 lay an egg. Maybe Uncle Joe Robinhood Biden will hold Slavitt hand. 🤔

The FDA has been completely corrupted by the democrats. Covid all of it is at the feet of the democrats. Fauci, Birx er al lied and obfuscated to Trump and everyone. Trump was poorly served by the deep state and the rinos who hated him. They would rather destroy the country. Covid broke every government agency and institution. It had been a time coming and Trumps election showed us all what was going on and how awful these people really are. Pfizer is a juggernaut. They bought up almost every pharma company that used to exist. I worked at Wyeth when Pfizer took it over in 2 years there were less employees than the number at just Pfizer going in. I think we see now why they get away with it. The media and the overseers are on Pfizer’s pocket. MRNA would not have happened if the fda hadn’t collided with Pfizer! The opioid crisis was the pushing of a pain medicine for chronic pain (which is vital for those with chronic pain) for any kind of pain. Now the drug addicts have made it impossible for those with chronic pain to get any relief. Pain doctors are afraid to prescribe pain meds for those in chronic pain who have responsibly managed these drugs for years. They are actually tapering these sufferers leaving them with nothing but pain. You go to far demonizing companies and issues when you don’t know the full story. OxyContin came about because they were honestly looking for something for chronic pain that is less addicting. The drug was not meant to be ground up and snorted or whatever else the druggies were doing. I am tired of hearing about how addiction is a disease. TRULY A DISEASE OF YOUR OWN MAKING.

Mr. Berenson better hope that the fix isn't in with the Obama judge he drew (as in e.g., the judge in the Fox News defamation suit).

"The fact Rouhandeh is working for both of them suggests Pfizer plans to take full responsibility for Gottlieb’s actions rather than saying he pushed Twitter on his own, but we will see."

It more likely will be the reverse. When the time comes, Gottlieb will take full responsibility for his actions, pushing himself under the bus to save Pfizer, but Pfizer will pay any award or settlement arising from his actions. Pfizer will be eternally grateful for Gottlieb's self-immolation and assuredly will make good to Gottlieb in some massive way in future, all without a scrap of paper or even a handshake to seal the deal. Undoubtedly there will be a wink or certain look exchanged, somehwere hidden in plain sight.

But first, they will dispute everything while trying to keep their stories straight, hence the need for common counsel.

The lawyers do not matter as much as the judge (type) that holds sway over the endeavor, as the allowed circumventing of the stated law is the most telling factor. Even the righteous suit can go astray by rulings from the bench. This being a first amendment case on its filing, it still has a specter of personal damage and the powers that be do not like to pay damages to the individual, so I expect a subterfuge of mass proportions from the political elite as Amicus Briefs to the Bench garnered from the left, paid by our tax dollars.

Rouhandeh is good because he has that rare ability as a human to have absolute no remorse for what he does or who he represents. If you call that an edge and admire it of course what does that say about you
