Of course they did and it makes me angry for you.

These cretins are the face of affirmative action, DEI and too big to fail.

A place where you are encouraged to use large type and double spacing.

A place where creativity can be created by emancipating it from someone who did the work.

A magical utopia where parenthesis can walk off pages, free of their shackles .

Look it at this way, the NYT scooped Berenson on Russiagate, the J6 "insurrection", peaceful riots during the Summer of Floyd, COVID origins, COVID deaths, face diaper effectiveness, "Safe and Effective" vaccines, Hunter's laptop being a Russian intel operation, etc., etc. Every one of which turned out to be a LIE.

And no apologies.

Well, you’ve got a point there.

If I were a NYT subscriber I’d write in their comments section:

This isn’t breaking news: I read it 2 days ago in Alex Berenson’s SubStack!

What are the odds that it would be spiked?!

Expand full comment

I used to comment in their comments section and I can attest they would wait an hour or so to put it up, so fewer people would look at it.

The only news reports that I've seen credit AB is "Breaking Points."

Everyone else report about the Parkinson's scoop as if it was dropped into their laps from some celestial being.

I want them all fired; I want their buildings burned to the ground.

Everything needs to be razed. Every institution. All of it.

Let's invite the British back to DC. They burned it down in 1813 and they can do it again. We'll give 'em the matches.

Probably what it's going to take.

I'm afraid economic collapse is the only thing that will sharpen minds.

Nonetheless it's coming...

When I try to think of what should be saved, I can't come up with a darn thing.

Lol. I did the same exercise before I pushed "post".

None. None at all.

They are shameless at the NYT. "All the news that's fit to steal - or misreport."

Expand full comment

"All the news ... we have to conceal."

Expand full comment

“All the news that’s not fit to print but we will print anyway if it helps our Far Left accomplices”

Expand full comment

They get their copy straight from the alphabet agencies in DC. Investigative journalism is discouraged at the NYT.

Rush Limbaugh used to call his show "show prep for the main stream media". You're filling pretty big shoes!!!!!

Expand full comment

You can't possibly be surprised. You don't exist! Journalism as I learned it no longer exists either.

Yet another reason the corporate media is dying.

Expand full comment

And won't die soon enough.

Expand full comment

Scurvy thieving hyenas.

Expand full comment

Shame on them. They lied and hide the truth from America. You did what any journalist could do and they steal it from you without giving any credit. Shows us how dirty the NYT is and has always been.

Expand full comment

These people have lost the privilege of being given the benefit of doubt. The NYT is the living embodiment of the rot of our media.

What is so outrageous (and dangerous) about this incident imo is the same reason it will eventually implode:

They can't even think of how to make plagiarism look novel (Pretty sure all of us would've been able to figure that out in fourth grade)!!!

Which means they can't even build upon prior knowledge because they can't understand contributions of knowledge from those prior to them. Knowledge about knowledge is the true measure of intellectual prowess.

These people neither have the capacity nor the scruples to acquire the most important aspect of journalism. In other words the MSM is selecting against wisdom, ergo novelty

Benjamin Button Media can't go below zero true info.

Right now it's hovering around zero-Kelvin and any editor-in chief worth their salt should be white hot with anger.

The good news is that Breaking Points credited you and your substack.

Great scoop dude.

So did The Free Press and The Morning Edition.

Glad to hear the alternative press is still reading and crediting people like Alex instead of pretending to ignore them or bad-jacketing them as "too far out".

Of COURSE they're covering it now because it's OKAY to talk about it now. You think the NYT would have covered this story prior to Biden's faceplant on 6/27? Not a chance in a million. But, suddenly, they can actually Do Their Job.

Expand full comment

They got the green light from superiors.

Expand full comment

Oh no, they're not going to Do Their Job, in terms of insightful reporting. More derivative crap from wokies, and the occasional steaks of going Full Duranty.

Expand full comment

Agreed. For once, they were Doing Their Job, as WE would describe it, but it no doubt felt weird and uncomfortable for them. OR not, if they just believed that these were their new politically calculated marching orders.

Expand full comment

Yes they DID! And the only “additional twist” in “their” story demonstrates that Biden LIED to Geo Stephanopolous when he said he had not been checked by a neurologist or had any neurological testing.

Expand full comment

Yes, and you noticed but I wonder if anyone else did? I think the Rs and Trump make a mistake in not pointing out that Biden and the Ds are the real liars and their policies are terrible. Just because we know that doesn't mean it has made it to the independents or moderate to conservative Ds. I follow Naomi Wolf and some of things she says when told of such things tells me it is the first she is hearing of it. Also, the Rs need to tie Bidens bad policies to the Ds otherwise they will replace him and claim it solved the problem. I called it "torching" because they did it to Robert Torricelli 20 years ago. Also, the down ballot folks need to make the case that replacing Biden does not solve the problem. These Ds supported open borders too. They supported turning the cities over to criminals. They supported gutting the First Amendment.

Biden is the figurehead. Getting rid of him doesn't get rid of the destructive policies.

Expand full comment

Excellent point and I hope others are paying attention to this and make the connection for the voters. ALL the voters.

And Stephanopolous didn't follow up on that comment, either. They never do.

i'm sure Snuffleupagus could use a hug...i bet he's distraught he was lied to

The NYT is pathetic... Formerly the greatest newspaper in the world, they are now the official voice -- self-declared mind you -- of the Woke generation and no longer a bastion of quality journalism.

The Free Press ran a story about this and clearly credited you as the source of this important piece of breaking news.

It is Journalism 101 that when you "borrow" a story that is considered a scoop, you must cite the original source of this news. It is unconscionable that they did not credit you!

Expand full comment

This is why I am glad to be a subscriber! Way to go Alex!!!

Expand full comment

They don't dare credit you, then more people would follow you and be reading the truth.

Expand full comment

Yep. I just posted that around 15 minutes ago on your earlier substack.

You going to credit me?! :-))))

Expand full comment

Surely Mr. Berenson, you don’t think NYT sees the error of their ways and hereafter are going to report truthfully.

They report truthfully only when they calculate it helps them advance their totalitarian agenda.

Alex.

THIS IS INCREDIBLE !!!! Especially since YOU worked for them for YEARS !!!

How LOW can the "Big Media" go ?

You deserve TONS of credit for all your investigative work. And the media world hates you because you have a brain. I, for one, will continue to fully subscribe to YOUR authentic, factual, and thorough work (often delivered in a hilarious way that makes me laugh my head off).

THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO, sir !
