There’s so much money involved now, why would anyone be surprised anymore. No faster way to funnel money from the poor and working class than this stupid virus and vaccine. 100s of times faster than the silly climate…

F**k the elites.

Elite used to mean" a select group that is superior in terms of ability or qualities to the rest of society. Now that word just means people with too much money- most via ill gotten gains and although they may be great at corruption- they are not elite. So I say yes" F**k them, but we need to find a better, more fitting word for those money grubbing bottom feeders. Let me know if you think of anything.

Growing up in the 1970s and studying biology, I learned that there were no vaccines, or cures, for the "common cold," or the flu, but now "science" says there are all kinds of vaccines (if only they actually worked).

Can anyone explain why they give newborns only hours old HEP B shots. I can't figure it out. Seems Ludicrous The powers that be just tried to give it to my grandbaby. Thankfully my daughter declined the offer.

Expand full comment

They spent billions developing the Hap B shot specifically for IV drug users and prostitutes - however, they did not get the shot (who would have thought!). Since they had poured billions into research and development, they needed to make people use their product, so it was approved to give to newborns! Except ten percent of the people who get the Hep B shot lose the antibodies after 5 years and 50% lose their antibodies after 10 years - far before the age these babies become sexually active or use IV drugs (presumably).

I’ve been told, Hep B shots are given to newborns to protect them…in the off chance their mothers are prostitutes or dirty-needle drug users 🤷‍♀️

Thanks, did not know. I’ll have to look at the chart as to when that is administered. I do know more pediatricians are not agreeing with the “ bundling” of shots.

Expand full comment

Hep A vax is administered after 12 months of age. And you’re right lot more Peds are accepting alternate schedules. HepB at birth unless the mother is high risk or has hep b herself is useless.

Expand full comment

There is no reason. I give the parents of my pediatric patients a list of CDC recommended immunization schedule and discuss each one and the reason for it. That one really snuck in there, I think around the late 90's. Never heard a discussion except for the known fact that when a pharmaceutical company gets an immunization accepted into the childhood vaccine regimen it is a money maker forever. FOREVER PROFITS!!!

nasal vaccines are not just ineffective they are dangerous. People who get them shed the virus to others, like the immunocompromised and there are many kids who get autoimmune encephalitis after the flu mist. the mechanism for transfer from nasal cavity up to the brain and from their molecular mimicry has been described.

First of all I'd like to see some research that documents that older healthy people's immune system weekends just because of age I am 77 and have been repeatedly exposed to the virus in my work with people I have refused to be vaccinated and I'm very conscious of staying healthy in terms of diet and exercise and after however many years it's been I have not been infected with the virus. Secondly when someone does get the virus the antibodies that their immune system creates are very different from the antibodies that the so-called vaccine creates that should be something for the vaccine companies to look at quite seriously there seems to be an assumption among the vaccine companies that our immune system is weak and can't function without vaccines and in fact the number of vaccines that bombard our body in this day and age create an autoimmune response that is not healthy this is the most important thing in my mind for us to look at stop trying to create vaccines and support people being healthy with a powerful immune system not dependent upon questionable vaccines

Before we even start talking about whether these magic potions work or not, can we start with the fundamental question: are they NECESSARY?

Excuse me for being old-fashioned, but the concept of vaccination was to protect against dangerous disease. To prime the immune system. Hence polio, cholera, smallpox (all of which vaccinations I had), but is a vaccine necessary against the common cold? Before we get into the realms of whether it is possible (almost certainly not), is it actually needed?

The last few decades have seen an explosion in classifying anything as a medical condition. So, feeling a bit down or sad, is now a psychological malady for which some pill exists. The side effects of new-age psycho drugs are horrendous, but the vast majority are probably never necessary to start with.

With "vaccination" (especially the new definition) it seems we are now entering the realms of "never get sick" by being vaccinated for everything that could possibly happen.

The prime motive has to be money. Got drugs for the existing ailments? Make up new ones. Got vaccines for the dangerous diseases? Go after the others.

All of this is unnecessary, impossible and ultimately destructive.

So I recently went through an interesting exercise with my primary care physician, an internist with the reputation of being ‘a doctor’s doctor.’ Under discussion was exactly why I was refusing each drug option for treatment my “osteoporosis” — an ailment which underwent a redefinition in the ‘90s.The idea is that a 60 yo should have a 30 year old’s bone density. I suggested that by such a standard maybe I should have a period too. My conclusion was that drugs that “pathologize aging” seem to elevate cancer (among other problems). So to your point, not only was such (expensive!) treatment unnecessary it had a negative risk-benefit. Some of these drugs are so toxic you can only take a them for a limited amount of time, anyway.

Expand full comment

and don't get me started on Prolia- only works if you continue it forever. Another great money maker for big Pharma.

the goal of drugs was to help, but now it is to make you dependent.

Expand full comment

My doctor mentioned that one — to which I responded: “just a year ago researchers figured out why bones become even more brittle when a person stops the drug.”

Looking at him straight on, I then said: so what…I am supposed to take this the rest of my life? It seems to me these drug developers are mucking around in systems they don’t even fully understand. So no thanks.

You obviously don't live near the liberal bubble of Santa Fe, NM. If it isn't in the NY Times, it isn't true. If it is in the NY Times, it is true. So sayeth the true covidian believers.

Expand full comment

No, I don’t. I have trouble grasping that.

I live in a far more ideologically diverse area. I was raised by a former journalist who left the industry entirely after being offered a job in the late 1970’s with the NYT. (Before my birth). Even after leaving the industry, and during my lifetime, my dad was offered a job with Barrons, which he also turned down. He grew up in poverty and gave us a great life which he didn’t see as possible if he was working as a journalist and we were living in NY or NJ. I am grateful he made that choice everyday of my life, but I am a little sad because he’s still a fantastic story and the facts of a story form his opinion, which he doesn’t share unless directly asked, not the other way around. He always demanded the same from me. Even though he left journalism, journalism never left him, and he’s an encyclopedia of human history.

I was irate as a college kid with the Times lying leading up to Iraq. He was unsurprised. I remember most people around me at the time were appalled I told them he had suggested the intelligence community often used the Times to shape public opinion, facts or no facts.

Now basically everyone around me expects pure propaganda from the Times on most subjects. Alan’s comment made me laugh because the few I do know that still subscribe are older than me and love the crosswords (I can’t spell so I never understood the affinity for those). My circle is well educated (lots of purchased degrees) and half of it is very liberal. No one takes them seriously. The WSJ they do, but not the Times. It’s not as bad as the perceptions CNN, but getting closer by the day.

Expand full comment

Interesting and funny comment - (lots of purchased degrees). Thanks for your history. Are you in North Carolina (NCmom)? Maybe that means non-compliant? I worked at Los Alamos and my husband was a Ph.D. engineer there. There are more Ph.D.s there than anywhere in the US. I don't think the degrees were purchased. But most of the population there followed most of the rules. However, they accepted me without my shots into the social scene. I just wasn't allowed to talk about the situation or present any evidence that contradicted the orthodox narrative. I have a notion some percentage of them have fake vaccination passports. Santa Fe was/is much more orthodox and stringent. There's a restaurant there that still demands vaccination passports. Until May some entertainment venues required them. Many people are still masked up. It's a place that revels in virtue signalling. I wouldn't mind moving, but it would be a huge undertaking. I might need an undertaker if I attempted it.
