Zelensky could have avoided all of it if Ukraine, UK, US, NATO had just stuck to the 1994 agreement, which all of them have broken. Zelensky's a high-heel-wearing puppet. 2014 Obama came in with his thugs and threw out the good elected president and Ukraine became the bio/chem lab/money laundering/human trafficking center of the world. You know why they don't want it brought down? It will expose all of these illegal criminal players including the sons of Biden, Romney and Pelosi being paid millions by Ukrainian oil. As Twistertim says NWO - all of it. Wake up and turn off the lying media or combat them with truth.

Yanukobitch was re-packaged by Manafort as a pro-european President. When he turned and went towards russia he reneged on why he was elected and the people were upset. He left the country in the middle of the night after months of protest. The "coup" never entered the Presidential office, RADA (Congress) or Government buildings (It was less violent than 1/6 until Yanikobitch starting shooting at people.)

Hunter was paid by Burisma (nt the Ukrainian Government). Burisma hired him to hopefully protect them against the anti-corruption people who were coming into the Ukrainian government after Poroschenko was elected.

You need to look at the dates of your "biolab" scandal .... It is also very difficult to money launder through Ukraine

Cash coming in of more than $10,000 is reported. Any money wired in is looked at very closely to protect against corruption over the lasts several years.

Most of the questionable Oligarchs , like Kolomoisky IMO, actually sent money into the USA for "laundering". Most Oligarchs keep their money outside of Ukraine (Monaco, Dubai, UK, Switzerland). All of that is why they have focused on questionable activities by the Oligarchs and their importance is being diminished.

Human trafficking center? You need to get out more. Thailand etc are worse. The "top ten" worst were Belarus, Central African Republic, China, Eritrea, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Sudan, Syria, and Venezuela. In that order. https://borgenproject.org/tag/worst-countries-for-human-trafficking/

The most recent listing from the USA state Department on human trafficking lists Ukraine as Tier 2 country along with countries like Italy,Germany, Israel, Norway, Iceland, Switzerland (TIER 3, the lowest are China, Russia, Eritrea, N. Korea, Syria, Iran, Venezuela, Nicaraugua and others) https://www.state.gov/reports/2021-trafficking-in-persons-report/

You will never change your mind about 2014. Poroschenko was elected after 2014. Zelensky was elected in 2019 defeating Poroschenko. So which one is/was the western puppet

BTW: SO you believe Putin should invade Moldova (which, BTW, is east of Ukraine) and Georgia and Ukraine and then Ukraine again now?

Conversations taken out of context of the times can appear to be something entirely different in retrospect.

So you condone what Putin is doing by bombing an OLDER independent country and its citizens because he is paranoid about the west attacking russia? Want to tell me when this has happened in the last 60 years?

You also condone pukeons statement that Ukraine is not a real country and has no right to exist? THAT is what he has said this about. Try to keep up, he has changed his reasons numerous times.

T least as far as NATO is concerned, even if we ignore multiple reports of promises to fix NATO boundaries, we find that Gorbachev himself has this patently self-contadictory impression (quoted from your source). Don't miss "Another issue we brought up was discussed: making sure that NATO’s military structures would not advance"at the end:

"M.G.: The topic of “NATO expansion” was not discussed at all, and it wasn’t brought up in those years. I say this with full responsibility. Not a singe Eastern European country raised the issue, not even after the Warsaw Pact ceased to exist in 1991. Western leaders didn’t bring it up, either. Another issue we brought up was discussed: making sure that NATO’s military structures would not advance and that additional armed forces from the alliance would not be deployed on the territory of the then-GDR after German reunification. Baker’s statement, mentioned in your question, was made in that context. Kohl and [German Vice Chancellor Hans-Dietrich] Genscher talked about it."

How could Zelensky avoid something that NATO did not stuck to way before he got elected in 2019 and that is actually a consequence of many centuries of geopolitical maneuvers? These type of comments make no sense. The Baltic states which btw were already occupied by the Soviet Union (under the auspices of the Velikaya Rus) never wanted to repeat this wonderful experience, so they campaigned along with the other so called Warsaw Pact countries that were suspicious (as we now know for the right reasons) of Russia to be in the NATO. What should have the NATO done? Not accepted them and leave them to be taken over by Russia like it already had done before!!!!???? (Not that that will not happen, no-one has too many illusions about this). Same for Georgia and Ukraine, as political units these lands just did not want to cooperate with an ever more authoritarian Russia. So how could Zelensky who was elected in 2019, avoid this????????? Dear previously logical people, who have been suspicious of Russia for decades, what is happening with your brains?????

Expand full comment

The same people that bought and paid for allegiance with vaccines, are the same people you want us to now believe. NATO is a joke. Most members do not pay dues. These are the same countries that would now need to step up big and fight a war and fund it. This war is really a fight between Nazi eastern Ukraine and Putin the communist. Zelensky went to Nazis early on and asked they agree to ending war with Russia. Nope. Then those nice Nazis began to turn on Zelensky and that is when Zelensky chose the Nazis to survive. They are who he is now counting on.

Look McCain was constantly begging US to fund rebels. You know. The good guys. Every rebel group McCain and his shadow thought were worthy of praise and lots of money. The “good” guys did all the atrocious crap the bad guy Assad did. All these groups eventually turn on each other. The moment they have a parting of one voice, boom the fragmenting begins.

Putin is a thug. However our Biden is equally a thug. Thugs are running the world. They all point fingers at the other thug. I am sick of being played.

Read the 1994 Agreement. Did you know that Putin has offered 3 times in the last week and right after this started to withdraw if they would go back to the agreement. Things change in history. This was a more recent agreement. All Zelensky had to do was stick to what he inherited. They have been refusing to meet with Putin. He has said he was not trying to take the country, just wanted the agreement reinforced to protect Russia. Do you remember when Russia put missiles aimed at the US in 1962 on Cuba? We threatened war too if they didn't back off. this is the same situation. Ukraine needs to keep their word. There is massive corruption in Ukraine running this show.

"Bad Vlad" seemingly opposes the US-centered globalists. So therefore he must be the lesser evil.

That it can be both is simply to difficult to fathom, nor that as you correctly states Russia would have and will grab as much as it can untli forcibly stopped of the old Soviet territories.

We aw the same fluster-cluck about Jugoslavia back then. The EU, NATO, UN and so on all milled about trying to decide who's "the bad guy" and spouting - exactly as people are doing here - asininities about what happened 400 years ago.

Well, hey people who argues from a historical perspective, guess what you've forgotten? Who the Rus were. Read up on that, and by your own logic both Ukraine and Russia belongs to... Sweden.

Sorry, yes, Zelensky was elected in 2019, not 1999. A slip up. For the rest of my sources - I can read in Russian, and I am from one of the former USSR countries and have long been familiar with the region, its history and global debates that it is involved in. I also have worked in the former Yugoslavian countries directly ravaged by war, so it infuriates me to read from all you arm-chair Russian politics experts, even though I still agree that one has to be very careful and triangulate information right now, and that the main-stream narrative is very limited. I feel like those who are skeptical around intervention in Ukraine that your sources are very limited too! I would hate it if the very worthy skepticism that one has acquired through following the adventures of the infectious agent SARS-CoV-2 would be directly transferred to being skeptical about a war, that at the moment has no end in sight.

I bow to your experience, but I too know Russians who tell me their views and I know the negative things about that country and Putin. Still I stand by the fact that both these countries are highly corrupt - maybe they all are including the US - but I just don't think it's something we should get in the middle of precisely for the reasons you give, but also because they are trying to force a new world order and either Ukraine keeps the 1994 boundaries and remains neutral and out of the corrupt NATO or joins the big boys trying to control us all.

We in the US want it simplified. The mainstream tells us THAT guy is the bad guy (a la Gaddafi, Saddam, Bin Laden, Castro...) and must be stopped at all costs. He's painted as a mad-man and all past history can be ignored. Stopping the mad-man keeps us all glued to the news which fills the day with 24/7 stories of the mad-man's actions while conveniently ignoring the other problems in our own country, like a failing economy, failed medical policies, endless political corruption... Especially with a mid-term election coming that doesn't look good for the party in power. Gotta rally around the flag and against the madman.

Ahhhh what part of “not sticking” exempts Russia in your erudite observation? Russia was a signatory in 1994 as well. And surely if Ukraine was a centre of organised criminal activity then in any objective comparison Moscow is the HQ. Putin has taken corruption, nepotism, organised murder to a new plane. The irony of using Chechyans as hitmen must have escaped him. Wasn’t it the Chechyans who he blamed (more accurately hired) to kill the Russian Opposition leader on that bridge beside the Kremlin? He is not only Joe Stalin reincarnated ( probably something he believes) but he is Joe Stalin and the Gambino crime family rolled into one. I suggest with respect you go and educate yourself. A good place to start would be a Roger Underwood’s article “Russia’s Yen to Rebuild a house of Cards”; QUADRANT ON LINE. surely the take away from all this is DONT GIVE UP YOUR NUKES

Do an image search for "blast injuries" and "shrapnel injuries", and compare how they look to the BBC story's "shelling victims".

Also keep in mind, the Russians have every incentive to avoid killing civilians (it's a bad look, killing civilians makes the country harder to pacify and it's a waste of munitions that could be used against targets of military value) while the Ukrainians have every incentive to cause them (and blame the Russians because it makes the Russians look evil) *and* to keep people from leaving cities so they can serve as human shields.

I'm not so sure it would be accurate to characterize the war in Ukraine as "Putin's war". War has been going on in Ukraine since 2014. The event that precipitated it was the Euromaidan coup, which was orchestrated in part by the US State Department and NGOs with backing from the likes of the CIA and George Soros, a guy who has openly boasted many times about how good his organizations have become over the years at fostering color revolutions. It doesn't look to me like Putin has been playing the role of warmonger in the Ukrainian civil war either. By all accounts, it was Putin's government that brokered the negotiations that resulted in two cease fire accords (Minsk I and Minsk II). These cease-fire agreements failed to keep the peace, but from what I gather, there is credible evidence that the blame for that failure belongs to the Ukrainian side (especially with the neo-fascist, Nazi-inspired, Ukrainian ultra-nationalist Azov Battalion, which has been formally integrated into Ukraine's military and has been stationed in the Donbas, astride the breakaway republics of Luhansk and Donetsk for years).

All true. But actually, as I wrote very early today, look back to the Russian Revolution. When the Khazarian Mafia, most who came from Ukraine, crushed the Russian people and installed Lenin in power. Russia has a history of “long knives.” And long memories. There you will find the real “headwaters” of the conflict. Which has been ongoing ever since.

I suppose if Russia was hoping to get missiles back to Cuba, the US would be just fine with it? Oh, and let's not forget that Putin was basically put in power by the US 20 years ago. Geopolitical theater. All of it. Notice how COVID has just disappeared from the "news". It's all Ukraine now. Rather convenient for the psychopaths that put us through hell for 2 years over a lab-created virus that is ultimately about as dangerous as the flu. Good thing billions of people got injected with synthetic genetic coding that over the last 2 decades proved dangerous to the point Moderna was going out of business....but then it magically worked for Covid! Good thing we have the FDA to tell is it's "safe" after 60 days of shotty safety data. Good thing!

This I have not confirmed, so it is alleged. But it makes sense:

"The US government has allowed American companies to continue buying Russian oil via third-country banks, which have not joined in on sanctions against Russia. In effect, American companies will now pay unaffiliated banks for Russian oil, and that money will then be transferred to Russia.

Bankers in Hong Kong have already offered lucrative conditions as intermediaries.

In essence, Americans will now pay more for Russian oil, China-controlled banks will get a fat cut, and Russia will get just as much money as it did previously."

As a US taxpayer I identify very much with the Russian Federation. The entire US political class has treated both of us like garbage for decades. Ukraine is a US colony which is being used as a base for US regime change in Russia. US constantly sends billions of tax dollars to Ukraine and no one knows where they go. US violently overthrew Ukraine's elected government in 2014 and installed a puppet who gave Ukraine oligarchs whatever they wanted. This is about US seeking regime change in Moscow followed by total submission to the US as they were under Yeltsin.

We should disband the CIA so they stop messing with foreign elections. I suspect that they even used their knowledge of how to subvert elections in the 2020 US election too. Even more argument to disband them.

This is dumb. I fail to see how backing the KGB thug dictator Putin is in any freedom loving citizen of the world's interest. There is no regime change in Ukraine impacting Russia other than it has elections and democratic institutions.

The US did not overthrow Ukraine's puppet president in 2014. The installed-puppet benefitted from election fraud. Some people are so stuck in ignorance to repeat this tired tripe is pathetic. The people in Ukraine turned out in the hundreds of thousands not unlike the overthrow of the Islamic Brotherhood in Egypt. That's the parallel not your propaganda.

The pro-Russia thug shot protestors in the capitol and then in the dead of night left his compound and private zoo behind fleeing to.... wait for it... Russia. He also stole billions out of the country in the process. Lay off the Oliver Stone conspiracies.

So, there's a little truth for you. Try to keep up.

In 2014 US certainly overthrew Ukraine's elected governor. "Yats" was US choice for new PM per Victoria Nuland. As Nuland said, US spent $5 billion US tax dollars on Ukraine since 1991--it's not a secret. Per NY Times, Yats gave Ukr. oligarchs whatever they wanted. After thousands stood in Maidan for months in the cold, they were dismayed to find things worse than ever--also public record. As a US taxpayer, I'm forced to finance the US military dictatorship and its global "regime change' genocide machine . This can't be changed by elections, too much money in it. Someone has to stop the US Deep State ASAP. Americans should be able to vote to remain neutral vs wars.

Expand full comment

Incorrect. Hundreds of thousands of people rose up against the installed election fraud Prez. It was Putin's thug choice. it wasn't thousands in the cold protesting; it was hundreds of thousands and they were unhappy they would not see government move toward an EU application. They were less happy when they started being shot in the center of Kyiv. Yanukovych fled in the dead of night when even shooting protestors didn't silence them. You're just not there with these simple facts.

Expand full comment

Yes, absolutely is fact that Yanu. fled, and that there were snipers shooting at both police and protesters, and the crowds were massive, absolutely. What happened after that is the issue. The citizens got new government absolutely, but new PM Yatsenyuk was selected by US Nuland. Fine, then voters elected Pres. Poroshenko. But, NY Times reported Yats wasn't able to let go of his oligarch cronies, so protesters were shafted. Poroshenko was a known commodity, but also shafted protesters. You may have read recently that Zelensky wanted to arrest Poroshenko. After 2014 Ukraine decided to accept loans from IMF, but IMF terms were very painful. As of 2015, 80-85% of gdp was still controlled by Ukraine oligarchs. The banking and judiciary were still hopelessly corrupt. Per Atlantic, members of Ukr. parliament each keep around $700,000 at home. I have no disagreement with you about what led up to 2014.

Agreed, but the last 50 cents got tacked on this past week because of the stupidity of US governments going back to Clinton in abrogating the 1991 agreement that NATO would not expand into the countries neighboring Russia. Along with installing a Ukranian government hostile to Russia after sponsoring a coup there in 2014. Now after 30 years of antagonizing the country, and over $6 billion in war armaments sent there during the last 7 years, is it any wonder that Russia finally put its foot down when NATO was considering putting offensive ballistic missiles in Ukraine ?And instead of recognizing this war is a direct result of their policies, does the US and NATO declare no offensive missiles in countries neighboring Russia and end the war immediately thereafter ? No, instead they throw all kinds of sanctions on Russia to antagonize them even more, and crude oil shoots to $130 a barell on its way to $200 !!

Its totally insane and I am sick of the US government making ever possible move to destroy the welfare of the country's people, from porous borders that surely are allowing terrorists free entry to the States, to locking down businesses without making a dent in new Covid cases, to advocating dangerous poisons they call vaccines, to now making me pay $4.50 a gallon and probably more soon.

This was a planned war in that (1) as we cut our current and future energy production, Russia was given an opportunity to invade. (2) Russia has always made it clear that it considers Ukraine, if not part of Russia, part of the Russian sphere of influence. By bringing the Baltic states into NATO, for what reason it is unknown, and flirting with Ukraine, we provoked Russia to act. That is not apologizing for Putin and Russian aggression, it is simply stating an obvious fact. Unless we had gamed out how we were going to stop this, in advance, we were foolish, or naive, about our dealings with Ukraine. Or (3) it was known what was going to happen and the military, political, economic complex is going to make a lot of money on this war. Unless and until we truly block Russia off from the world markets and stop the flow of energy, I think (3) is most likely.

It seems the "leadership" of the U.S. and the West, the globalists, the deep staters, are fine with lots of people being killed and displaced. Hey, we just created a few hundred thousand more refugees than what we'd planned in Afghanistan and "rebranded" it as the largest airlift. Everything will be FINE. We'll just have Catholic Charities and the vast U.S. gov't-funded (read: taxpayer-funded) refugee apparatus bring in more to America. No problemo. Americans are willing to pay a little more for a "good cause."

None of what's happening had to happen. This working to ramp up the sanctions now (how is that not a declaration of war?) rather than seriously trying to ratchet this down immediately (or, again, PREVENTED THIS) indicates war was the goal. We're hearing more and more about a no-fly zone -- in fact, the Ukrainian president is DEMANDING it of the West. More ramping up war.

Seems like all the techniques used during COVID are in full play.

Russia and China are creating the Global south ...They are headed toward a total union....This is a transfer of wealth to them....meanwhile many people will starve because countries are not allowing more food to be grown..like

Germany ........ right now ...the farmers are furious....not being allowed to grow more food or import means the Cabal wants to take control of the land and be in control of the food supply...all a part of the Great Reset The Cabal is following a script...To bring in the Reset of control.....All this was planned to the smallest degree....

Expand full comment

This Global South will be the death knell for the US economy. For forty years the US has been able to spend whatever it wanted and run up a $30 trillion government debt because the cheap labor countries would invest their dollar-based trade surpluses in dollar-based investments, most notably US government debt securities. If they no longer have trade surpluses in dollars because they focus on trading within their new alliance, or if they decide to invest their dollar-based trade surpluses within their new alliance, the US will have few good options to finance its existing debt as well as its ongoing deficits.

The US then would have to print money to finance its debts and deficits, leading to skyrocketing inflation that will destroy the US economy. Or they'll have to cut spending drastically, which also would reduce a major source of consumption from the GDP equation leading to significant economic downturn. If their past record of budgeting is any indication of what to expect in the future, it will be imposible for the clowns in Washington to cut spending by the amount they would have to cut to balance their budget.

Its kind of ironic in a way. The US defeated the Soviets in the Cold War by forcing the Soviets to spend far more than they could afford on their military, resulting in the bankruptcy of the USSR. Now the Russians have returned the favor, luring the US into a trap whereby the non-aligned nations would see the danger of financially supporting a nation who will try to destroy the economy of any nation that does not bow down to US foreign policy, as hypoctritical as that policy may be.

The chickens are coming home to roost for the US. The laws of economic nature will soon make the country pay for their government's foolish arrogance of many years.
