We want you to come to UNC! The heart of where this COVID nonsense originated. UNC has a free speech association that has brought in speakers like Douglas Murray and Abigail Schrier. How do we get you??

Bravo!

Just a suggestion: try to squeeze some "covid reality" into your speech.

Even the nitwits on "The View" got schooled about covid by (of all people) Dr. Phil.

I'm guessing but I suspect that it's not that people don't believe that they were duped by Fauci et al. I think they don't want to ADMIT they were duped by Fauci et al.

My wife & I were in Pensacola in March, 2021, & it was the least masked place we had visited in the country (except the local vegan coffee shop) up to that point. There was a rodeo in their large arena near our rental that was sold out, and we were walking by as thousands of fans with happy faces were streaming out of the event after it was over. Being from Insane Francisco, that place gave me hope for our future, and I'm happy they're still leading the charge by hosting Alex.

I live in the Pensacola area. It's great to be free!

It really is. I moved to Florida from Boston in March 2021. Like the Cubans, I fled communism and came to Miami.

Terrific. Before you go, I would recommend watching a video of an interview Tucker Carlson had with Mike Benz, a cyber security expert formerly employed by our State Department. A transcript is available. Mike Benz’s website is https://foundationforfreedomonline.com. You can find him in X @mikebenzcyber He will give you a history of why, when, where, and how today’s censorship evolved. Fantastic revelation!

Matt Taibbi has been tracking down the origins and identifying the major players of the censorship state in a series of articles published in Racket News, available on Substack. Good stuff!

Welcome to the free state of Florida, Alex! I cannot believe we’re going out of town on Thursday or we’d be there. One of the Seligman twins is a life long friend and her parents would be proud of the university for having you. It is, after all, a free speech endowment.

I should have added that Fred Seligman left Germany in his early 20s, having experienced first hand the limits of freedom - and particularly free speech - under Hitler. The First Amendment was sacrosanct to him.

Hi Alex we listened to Mike Benz on a Tucker podcast about censorship, fascinating. We had to listen twice it had so much information.

I had to keep backing up: “did he really say that?” Very enlightening, and disturbing.

President Ben Sasse at The University of Florida is a recent US Senator and has been a free speech advocate in his short time at UF. He also was one of very few Public University Presidents to speak out about Oct 7th and support Israel.

Maybe a quick ride from Pensacola to Gainesville is in order…..

Best of luck on Thursday. Will be streaming it.

Alex-Good, good, good for the University of West Florida, and for you. But maybe this is not such a very great surprise. You will have noticed who is the governor in Florida. And now the University of Florida has Ben Sasse.

I'll be genuinely surprised if there's not a group of snowflakes who are triggered and threatened with "harm" by your presence.

Sorry Alex, if I was a betting man, I'd be putting my money on Antifa and the hecklers veto, and this event getting cancelled before you ever set foot on campus.

Our only hope is that the fabled Florida Man shows up to show them a thing or two about wrangling wild animals.

as the unofficial spokesman for florida Man

He Hopes the antifa idiots show up. He's gonna learn dem a thing or two. welcome to gator country boys, All dressed up in your. silly little black jumpsuits and face mask. We do things a little different down here, Then what your used to Up north. Still a lot of swamp And endless dead rivers, Places where the sun rarely shines. And the reptiles and skeeters And the law of the jungle rules.

Over many years people have Disappeared never to be heard or seen from again. It's truly a mystery, probably never be solved.

Florida man says be careful If you've come to cause problems and shut down free speech you might just end up at the bottom of a swamp in a gator turd. Or since it is florida you could also end up out in the Atlantic in a stream. Of shark shit. the possibilities are endless. Stranger things have occurred. There's a lot of old bones and stories buried in this Sandy old state, Where the sun burns hot and the hurricanes rage. . There's a country song in there somewhere. i'm too damn lazy to write it. Where is steve goodman when we need him.? i'm voting for john anderson or the bellamy brothers to sing it. Be sure to send my royalty checks to Sunday mission box number ten for ray bob Preferably in 50s and $100 bills. This is gonna be huge, I can feel it

If the event isn't canceled, it sounds like there will be lots of Alex's supporters present, and I hope they're prepared to respond by doing whatever it takes to run the Antifa weirdos off campus.

Make sure the kids know they can either choose 1A as absolute or they can absolutely expect people to use assault weapons to exercise 2A, in case of emergency, when 1A is under assault.

Free speech is sloppy, but 2A is sanguineous. Sloppy option one is better than sloppy option 2. Sloppy is the only TIDY solution that prevents a slippery slope to pools of maroon below.

We have an emergency kids...pick a tidy gulag...or sloppy freedom.
