In Florida here I noticed several news reports of residents waiting up to five hours for a test. Five hours? Has anyone sat in a vehicle sick as a dog for 5 hours? Me neither. That is the same nonsense they used for firing my wife. They approved her religious exemption but said accommodating her would cause undue hardship to the agency. She had been working remotely as well for around 18 months. Her union was complicit in the charade as well. They told everyone they would lose retro pay, be unable to collect unemployment and encouraged people to resign instead of being fired. I will ask her about the class action suit she is participating in as I know she is pursuing it.

There appears to be a great deal of inconsistency between the different agencies in terms of how religious exemption requests have been handled, and I think that might be a good basis for a lawsuit. And yet testing is ramping up even more. The teacher that tested positive on a plane (after testing herself incessantly earlier before her flight) and then quarantined herself in an airplane bathroom for hours perhaps so she could post pictures of her experience on social media is emblematic of where we are. There is a large population of ill-informed individuals, lacking critical thinking skills, and leaning toward neurosis. These people need a better education and medical treatment for emotional and mental conditions, but they certainly shouldn't be celebrated or affecting public policy, and the last thing they should be doing is teaching or influencing our children.
I'd say they're not "leaning toward neurosis" but rather are both psychotic and idiotic. That sounds judgmental, I realize. Unfortunately it's true.

The Covid Cult True Believers are living in an alternate reality. They believe every blatant, outrageous lie fed to them incessantly via the mass media. An essential aspect of the government narrative is that anyone who rejects the dogma must be a conspiracy theorist and / or a domestic terrorist. Their minds are hermetically sealed against any information which contradicts the propaganda which they worship like Holy Writ. This, to me, is tantamount to psychosis.

Yep, where allowing people to live on the street is considered kind instead of cruel. And where wearing a mask to make others feel comfortable only confirms their incorrect belief that most masks prevent transmission. We are letting feelings rather than facts drive our policies. I look forward to the day when/if sanity returns.
It's really going to be terrible if I get a cold after my bout with covid; a slight head ache and achy legs. Maybe I better listen to the CDC and risk the chance of permanent heart damage, tinnitus, paralysis or Bell's palsy so I can skip the runny nose.

Speaking of which, has anyone noticed the accelerated aging of anyone they know? I am trying to figure out if it's the stress they have put themselves under or the jab but a few I know look 10 years older.

Great piece on your substack — I just subscribed. As for me, I always thought the testing push was ludicrous at best and sinister at worst. Now it is being taken to such extremes (long lines to test for…a cold?) that more and more people are waking up to what is going on here.
I told a long line here in Toronto of mainly young people in their 20s " Do we have bread lines now'? What band is in town"? This was before our current cold snap but FFS the brainwashing is real. All looking down at their phones 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I read recently that positive tests give you 2 weeks of paid vacation. If that is true I am surprised not MORE people get tested

I never really understood how you could be sick with something - no symptoms - and the only way you knew you were sick was because a test told you. If you have no symptoms doesn't that mean you are not sick? At this point the definition of illness has changed. I have checked out of this nuthouse.
