Purely a planned operation to usher in fed digital dollar. Whether they purposely told him to do it, or they allowed him to do it - this will bring digital currency and more control. Good luck everyone.
I wish I understood the connection because I see this prediction a lot. AB has a lot of intelligent subs, so maybe one of you can help me out. How exactly does a soy-boy like SBF ripping people off pave the way for a fed digital dollar? How do you go from him stealing billions, digitally, to the elimination of paper money? Again, not being difficult. I am trying to understand. Thanks in advance.
I read this (I'm a fast scanner) in about 1 1\2 hours but still don't understand the connection either. Matthew's lengthy article is on my list for a slower re-read. Highly recommend. As a complete aside, Peggy Noonan has declared both SBF and Elizabeth Holmes psychopaths, and then spent multiple paragraphs trying to convince readers that Soon Musk may be one, too. First, sociopath is the correct descriptor for SBF and Holmes, I argue. And second, the lengths the liberal establishment is going and will go to destroy Musk knows no boundaries. And don't feed me bs that Noonan is a conservative or a Republican. She is the definition of a RINO. Comparing two wastrels who have created nothing but misery to a creator of real value shows only her (and supposed thought leaders) twisted value system.
Noonan has been a rudderless grifter for years. She latches on like a lamprey to whatever GOP fad is in vogue, save for true conservatives. They might shine light on her.
If crypto crashes, who ya gonna trust? Crypto-Fed, of course!! At least that's what they want you to believe.
Crypto is like a vagrant, or a pump-n-dump penny stock (no visible means of support). Fried pumped (pimped) crypto until the emperor's new clothes turned transparent, then everybody dumped at once.
Confirms my long term view that crypto without an underlying, auditable, asset is a get your money out of Dodge card, NOT a store of value or investment
I have never quite understood how crypto currently has any inherent value (as a currency). I understand the practical applications of blockchain. And I also understand that there is a limited number of "solutions" limiting the number of bitcoins that can be generated. OK - great - so bitcoin (for example) is "better" than fiat currency because there is a finite limit to the number of bitcoins that can be generated. Got it. Let's remember that there is an infinite number of competing cryptocurrencies that can be generated. So what gives one value over any other? I agree that Fiat currency is evil. I just don't see how crypto is any better. Please help me understand.
right...that is because it doesn't have any inherent value. It has some usefulness as a tool, kind of like the pneumatic tubes that moved money around department stores in the 60s. I spent more time than I should have looking at this crypto stuff and I agree with Buffett (Warren not Jimmy) that the stuff is worthless. Other than making it easy to sell guns and drugs, it's pretty useless.
Actually the utility of Bitcoin ended when it became a speculative market. It's volatility made it difficult to establish a current value for good exchange. Oddly the amount of energy to create a new coin by "miners" sort of sets a value the miner expects. The last Bitcoin will need a staggering amount of real energy.
The MSM dealt with SBF the way they deal with any left leaning politician spouting what they feel are the correct talking points. They never fact check, investigate or ask tough questions of them. There are very, very few investigative journalists, who dig deep for the truth. That's why most of us are here on Unreported Truths, we were starving for facts and real journalism, not just the same prepackaged "information" that is repeated on all sites.
"Bloomberg said if we go to him with these questions, we'll lose access, and then they said it's bad for business."
We have a whole generation of Amercans who fail to see the importance and value of First Amendment principles, including freedom of the press. The lack of integrity and the moral cowardice evidenced by the above quotation make it hard to convince doubters that the press needs to be free to protect the greater good, including liberty itself. If the press has no principles, how can it play any role in protecting principles?
That's right. Doctors that question covid or mRNA vaccines were censored if anything the said wasn't 100% correct. Meanwhile, Fauci spouts off whatever he likes with impunity. Does Biden get tough questions? Does Birx get tough questions? Does the WHO get tough questions? Of course not. Dr. Malone or Dr. Bhattacharya are demonized, ridiculed and censored because they don't agree with many other doctors or the mainstream narrative. Yet if I say that masks work and the vaccine is safe and effective, there's no questioning my statement from so-called journalists and my statement gets the rubber stamp of approval from mainstream media and social media.
What I can't stand is all of this talk about him "lending" FTX customers $$ to Alameda. He didn't lend anything - he took (aka stole) it. He can claim he was going to pay it back but he never had the right to to steal it in the first place.
Let's say I'm $150 in debt. If I break into your hourse and take $100 and go down to the casino and lay it on black and it comes up on red, no one would way I borrowed your money. I stole it. What I would or would not have done if it came up black doesn't matter. It's still theft.
Considering Madoff got 150 years, I was hoping this guy would get life. My cynical buddy disagreed and said, "You don't understand how this works. I will bet you right now he never spends a day in jail. Look who he has donated to."
We agreed to bet. He only gets paid if it's zero days. I get paid if it's more than 20.
The only way SBF is going to jail for even a day is if they somehow discover that he is related to Trump. If SBF was somehow Trump's long lost son then he'd never see the light of day.
This is how our "justice" system works now. They only thing that matters is who you are and who you know and who you paid off. If you are on the "wrong" side of the political aisle then you'd better make sure you never fail to dot an "i" on your tax return lest you spend the rest of your days in jail. But if you are on the Democrat side of the aisle then you can steal $30 billion or participate in child prostitution on Epstein island and nothing will happen to you.
We aren't the first country to go down this road. It is probably more common than not. "Show me the man and I'll show you the crime" said Stalin. Well, right now all we have is a crime but not a political enemy to prosecute. We need to find a crime against Trump or his allies for prosecution to proceed.
plus it's useful if you're bored. you can just post a banal message like "i think freedom is good" so that it gets a lot of votes and then later on you can edit it to say "we should revisit & honestly weigh out if giving women the right to vote has done more good than harm after looking at the latest exit polls"
and then everyone who visits alex's blog will be like "wow, he's a talented writer, but he attracts a questionable audience". and then when alex is at cocktail parties he will sigh and throw his hands up when approached with this.
Honestly, there is an implied finality or completion to it in my mind.
Like if someone planned the day, I would feel like they have a working schedule. But if they told me they planned it out - I would think that they covered a lot of the likely contingencies as well.
If he was just some dollop of "cream" at the top and various intelligence agencies [[[Epstein (cough, cough)]]] were involved, this will get smeared out to probability-wise occupy an infinite universe like an electron emerging from a double-slit physics experiment. Now you see it. Now you don't. Wave good bye. Gagged. Tagged. Bagged. It's over.
Calling the media the media is a horrible insult to an actual news reporter. I love reading articles from organizations such as the Associated Press so I can get the “reporters” feelings on the story instead of the facts. Much better.
Closely related to Alex's relationship with medical establishment and Big Tech leaders, I will venture that SBF is evidence that our world is sorely lacking in attributions of guilt and shame. This man has taken little responsibiity for the obvious disaster over which he was primary author. It is sobering to note the incompetence and blindness of so many of these young financial pseudo-gurus. It reminds me of the arrogance and blindness of Tony Fauci. SBF needs to go to jail, for sure. Why has he not been extradited? I would like to see investigative journalists shed light on this question.
Please read or listen to Whitney Webb asking very probing questions. One of the big ones is “Was this a money laundering scheme and fraud or was it just an intelligence operation that was outed too soon? “ Seems there are interesting connections to so many players in the covid scam , Ukraine and US politicians on both sides.
Once again, the little guy gets screwed. MSM seems to be fulfilling its role by not investigating. Do they even know how anymore?
I get my information as if the MSM doesn’t exist. Throwing my television out 20 years ago definitely helps. Once you go down the rabbit hole, MSM looks like a big, fat, joke. Because it is. It’s all propaganda.
Is there anything that the Legacy media Democrats don't do that is corrupt? I learned. Why hasn't the media. I watched the Big Short 6+ times as an instructional video and M Cohodes quotes almost verbatim is right out of Big Short: "Bloomberg said if we go to him with these questions, we’ll lose access, and then they said it’s bad for business…". When the business media admits to preferential treatment that's the time to go short...and big. Every 20 years someone invents another Ponzi scheme and the media SHOULD be screaming it, but it doesn't, they're first pigs to the trough.
“If the world never decides that we are wrong about this in like a coordinated way, right? Like you're kind of the guy calling and saying, no, this thing's actually worthless, but in what sense are you right?”

A rudderless grifter. I'm going to steal that from you. Perfect!
Nailed it...forest for the trees

SBF just admitted that FTX didn't buy bitcoins for clients but just took their money. Why isn't this guy in jail already?
Different Glenn Ellison. Her Dad is an MIT prof.
ah, will delete. i only spread fake news when it's funny.

Like (button fails, as usual).
i'll bet you 5 dark thomas tokens (DTT) he doesn't see a day behind bars
This is good work by you, Alex. If anyone trusts and relies upon CNBC or Bloomberg they are deluding themselves.
I’m not a fan of the term investor when referring to cryptos. They are speculators.
*term...🙄
ha, but just use the edit button!

Why does the word “out” get added to all sorts of words these days when it is totally unnecessary? As in:
weigh out
plan out
list out
tweet out… I think this combo started this annoying trend. People used to just tweet.
Honestly, there is an implied finality or completion to it in my mind.
Like if someone planned the day, I would feel like they have a working schedule. But if they told me they planned it out - I would think that they covered a lot of the likely contingencies as well.
Thanks. I was on my iPad app and didn't see an edit button.
oh yeah, i don't think it's on the app. the app isn't great.
Aside from all the money he ripped off...
I can't help but think SBF has a pile of super-secret money stashed somewhere. Maybe it's gold coins? Perhaps diamonds?
Is anyone checking the Cayman Islands and Switzerland?
For that matter, given the corruption of the FBI, has anyone checked the glove compartment in SBF's Corolla?

It has all been a planned demolition with corporations and media in the midst. This is why Biden was "installed".
where do I go to get a new battery for my brain? Asking for a friend.
And the baby food shortage continues, but the MSM is silent
Thanks for this - it helped me understand the whole fraud a great deal better.

"Everyone failed everyone huge." That's not quite correct, they didn't fail themselves.
*somebody* got the money. probably biden & the ukraine
I'm sure the DNC, RNC and other political hacks are lining up to return funds sent to them by SBF so others can be made whole.....NOT!
It is just like Ukraine. If you believe the half of what is being said on this issue, I have a bridge to sell you!
