Yes it’s very sad , I was told to “ shut the fU<k up” by my 74 year old friend whom I’ve known for 30years the other day for explaining to a mutual friend why I won’t be getting the shot . I was in her house as her guest so I didn’t start an argument. She had just had her second AZ shot so she can travel overseas and shortly contracted a cold that made her the sickest she’s been in years . I reckon I definitely touch a nerve she didn’t like .

I know a lot of people in the same situation. There is a thing called Terror Management Theory; basically, it states that thinking about their own mortality makes people kind of crazy, and they will latch onto anything that enables them to believe they will NOT die. The vaxxes do provide that relief, so consequently, they cannot let go of it because if they do, they have to start thinking that they are going to die again.

1) according to Scot Atlas account Birx was the Cruella DeVille of lockdowns, Fauci was just the messenger trying to get the laurels to close out his career.
2) on the Trump injecting bleach blunder, a great footnote is that the next day a US Med Device company excitedly posted an animation of their ventilator prototype featuring controlled LED UV lights to kill virus INSIDE the body. Google took down the animation within 48 hours as I recall. Nothing more sinister than medical devices trying to cure people.
Trump's blunder was to brainstorm in front a room full of people who wanted to hang him by his thumbs. This is thematic of Trump, outrageous statements that in the end have some merit or are dead right It's like he is talking to himself.

German Father Kills Family And Self Because Of Forged Vaccine Passport
A horrific murder-suicide of a family of 5 in Senzig near Berlin, Germany seems to have been triggered by a forged vaccine passport.
Initial investigations have revealed that the father, Devid R. killed his wife Linda first and then his three young daughters Leni (10), Janni (8), and Rubi (4) before then committing suicide.
Chief Public Prosecutor Gernot Bantleon told BILD that according to a suicide note found in the family home after the tragedy, Devid had obtained a forged vaccination certificate for his wife. This has been echoed by many, including US Senator Ron Johnson.
The statistic is true, but extremely misleading when presented that way, because it misses that about 95% of elderly people are vaccinated in the UK. If the vaccine were totally ineffective, we should expect about 95% of people dying to be vaccinated.2
So the 70% stat shows the vaccine is WORKING.
How well? Let’s do the math.
If 95% of elderly people are vaccinated, then only 5% are unvaccinated.
That 5%, roughly, makes up about 30% of the deaths. Meaning they are 6 times as likely to die. That points to an 86% (6/7) effectiveness rate of vaccines, which incidentally IS RIGHT IN LINE with what the clinical studies show.
The US data shows the same thing, except with unvaccinated people being 11 times more likely to die.
This is really strong evidence that vaccines work as advertised, yet it’s billed as the opposite.
The new Omicron variant may change things until a variant-specific vaccine is developed. I’m keeping a close eye on the South Africa’s data for clues on that, but it’s too early to say.”
So what’s the skinny? The article is very pro vaccine and doesn’t go into the Israel data nor the Gibraltar data.
There could be other things at play as well, but for an analysis like this critic's to hold up, both populations (vaxed/unvaxed) would have to be (at least roughly) the same. But in this case, you probably have a lot of people dying who were near enough death already that they weren't candidates for the vax. And on the other hand, you've got a large portion of people who took the 'treatment' but had near zero chance to die in any case, treatment or no treatment.
In other words, that analysis can't tell you by how much, or even if at all, the treatment reduced the risk.
What I imagine is happening, as another way to put it, is that the RATE of death among the 'unvaxed' in 2021 is a lot higher than the rate of death was among the (truly, if you get what I mean) unvaxed in 2020. That would be, of course, because you removed all the people from the pool who weren't at much risk in the first place. That would NOT be because the disease decided this year to get six times deadlier.
Looking at UK data, for entire pandemic 91.3% of deaths are in 60 and up. For 2020 it was 93% and for 2021 it's 90%. In 2021 breaking out by month it's Jan-92%, Feb-90%, Mar-87%, Apr-90%, May-84%, June-77%, July-83%, Aug-83%, Sept-85%, Oct-90%, & Nov-88%.
Even absent factoring in other data like fewer elderly being around in 2021 due to excess deaths in 2020, the numbers suggest to me that the vaccine efficacy is there, but it is not dramatic and it appears to wane fairly quickly. Am I missing something here?
If 91% of the deaths are in the age group 60 and above, and if 95% of that group is vaccinated, how in Sam Hill does that mean the vaccine is effective?? 70% of the deaths are vaccinated... so the majority has to be in the elderly group... I don't think the old people get together and decide to die at the same time... just sayin'

I pulled this data straight from UK NHS site, would love someone better qualified than I to explain if I'm missing something or am mis-representing things, because to me it looks fairly straightforward...vax offers some level of protection against death, but that protection wanes after +/- 6 months.
From what I understand, the antibodies from vaccines peak at about 3 months and then quickly drop off, hence the need for boosters, whereas, natural immunity has been shown to last years. If I recall, someone lately showed to still have antibodies to the original SARS outbreak in the early 2000's. what is suspect to me, and should be a disclaimer, is that patients tested positive for covid, and not that Covid was the cause of death. I don't know about England, but we have had some sketchy death certificates here, deaths that were clearly trauma that were listed as Covid. That is the problem in incentivizing hospitals for Covid diagnoses. There is also the dubious PCR test which can be manipulated by increasing and decreasing the cycles to get the data you desire. Even the Nobel Prize winning creator of this test said it shouldn't be used for diagnostics
arguably the most important stats we should be tracking are hospitalized for C19 vs hospitalized with C19 vs hospitalized then caught C19. US not doing that is criminal.
Almost finished and I find it excellent on the whole. A few unsolicited, mild critiques for what they're worth:
- I echo a few other comments about the "injecting bleach" hoax. It really was severly damaging to media credibility. Watching unfiltered video of that entire briefing, I could see that he did not say what they claimed -- and the visible demeanor of the reporter who made a thing out of it, two or three questions later after everyone up front had mentally moved on already, said it all to me. The media then tried to blame Trump for an increase in poison control calls, a trend that actually predated the briefing.
- I don't buy "Long Covid" at all. The point in that section is well taken. I have to say: restless legs? That shit is real. I experienced it as a side effect of a medication. To me, it stands to reason that if it can be substance-induced then it probably has some natural origin as well.

What is the end game for the governments of the world? They are obviously playing from the same book. I know a lot of people in the same situation. There is a thing called Terror Management Theory; basically, it states that thinking about their own mortality makes people kind of crazy, and they will latch onto anything that enables them to believe they will NOT die. The vaxxes do provide that relief, so consequently, they cannot let go of it because if they do, they have to start thinking that they are going to die again.
Of course, we are all going to die. But not necessarily of COVID.

2) on the Trump injecting bleach blunder, a great footnote is that the next day a US Med Device company excitedly posted an animation of their ventilator prototype featuring controlled LED UV lights to kill virus INSIDE the body. Google took down the animation within 48 hours as I recall. Nothing more sinister than medical devices trying to cure people.
Trump's blunder was to brainstorm in front a room full of people who wanted to hang him by his thumbs. This is thematic of Trump, outrageous statements that in the end have some merit or are dead right It's like he is talking to himself.

German Father Kills Family And Self Because Of Forged Vaccine Passport
A horrific murder-suicide of a family of 5 in Senzig near Berlin, Germany seems to have been triggered by a forged vaccine passport.
Initial investigations have revealed that the father, Devid R. killed his wife Linda first and then his three young daughters Leni (10), Janni (8), and Rubi (4) before then committing suicide.

This has been echoed by many, including US Senator Ron Johnson.
The statistic is true, but extremely misleading when presented that way, because it misses that about 95% of elderly people are vaccinated in the UK. If the vaccine were totally ineffective, we should expect about 95% of people dying to be vaccinated.2
So the 70% stat shows the vaccine is WORKING.
How well? Let’s do the math.
If 95% of elderly people are vaccinated, then only 5% are unvaccinated.
That 5%, roughly, makes up about 30% of the deaths. Meaning they are 6 times as likely to die. That points to an 86% (6/7) effectiveness rate of vaccines, which incidentally IS RIGHT IN LINE with what the clinical studies show.
The US data shows the same thing, except with unvaccinated people being 11 times more likely to die.
This is really strong evidence that vaccines work as advertised, yet it’s billed as the opposite.
The new Omicron variant may change things until a variant-specific vaccine is developed. I’m keeping a close eye on the South Africa’s data for clues on that, but it’s too early to say.”
So what’s the skinny? The article is very pro vaccine and doesn’t go into the Israel data nor the Gibraltar data.

There could be other things at play as well, but for an analysis like this critic's to hold up, both populations (vaxed/unvaxed) would have to be (at least roughly) the same. But in this case, you probably have a lot of people dying who were near enough death already that they weren't candidates for the vax. And on the other hand, you've got a large portion of people who took the 'treatment' but had near zero chance to die in any case, treatment or no treatment.
In other words, that analysis can't tell you by how much, or even if at all, the treatment reduced the risk.

What I imagine is happening, as another way to put it, is that the RATE of death among the 'unvaxed' in 2021 is a lot higher than the rate of death was among the (truly, if you get what I mean) unvaxed in 2020. That would be, of course, because you removed all the people from the pool who weren't at much risk in the first place. That would NOT be because the disease decided this year to get six times deadlier.

Looking at UK data, for entire pandemic 91.3% of deaths are in 60 and up. For 2020 it was 93% and for 2021 it's 90%. In 2021 breaking out by month it's Jan-92%, Feb-90%, Mar-87%, Apr-90%, May-84%, June-77%, July-83%, Aug-83%, Sept-85%, Oct-90%, & Nov-88%.
Even absent factoring in other data like fewer elderly being around in 2021 due to excess deaths in 2020, the numbers suggest to me that the vaccine efficacy is there, but it is not dramatic and it appears to wane fairly quickly. Am I missing something here?
If 91% of the deaths are in the age group 60 and above, and if 95% of that group is vaccinated, how in Sam Hill does that mean the vaccine is effective?? 70% of the deaths are vaccinated... so the majority has to be in the elderly group... I don't think the old people get together and decide to die at the same time... just sayin'

I pulled this data straight from UK NHS site, would love someone better qualified than I to explain if I'm missing something or am mis-representing things, because to me it looks fairly straightforward...vax offers some level of protection against death, but that protection wanes after +/- 6 months.
From what I understand, the antibodies from vaccines peak at about 3 months and then quickly drop off, hence the need for boosters, whereas, natural immunity has been shown to last years. If I recall, someone lately showed to still have antibodies to the original SARS outbreak in the early 2000's. what is suspect to me, and should be a disclaimer, is that patients tested positive for covid, and not that Covid was the cause of death. I don't know about England, but we have had some sketchy death certificates here, deaths that were clearly trauma that were listed as Covid. That is the problem in incentivizing hospitals for Covid diagnoses. There is also the dubious PCR test which can be manipulated by increasing and decreasing the cycles to get the data you desire. Even the Nobel Prize winning creator of this test said it shouldn't be used for diagnostics
arguably the most important stats we should be tracking are hospitalized for C19 vs hospitalized with C19 vs hospitalized then caught C19. US not doing that is criminal.

Almost finished and I find it excellent on the whole. A few unsolicited, mild critiques for what they're worth:
- I echo a few other comments about the "injecting bleach" hoax. It really was severly damaging to media credibility. Watching unfiltered video of that entire briefing, I could see that he did not say what they claimed -- and the visible demeanor of the reporter who made a thing out of it, two or three questions later after everyone up front had mentally moved on already, said it all to me. The media then tried to blame Trump for an increase in poison control calls, a trend that actually predated the briefing.
- I don't buy "Long Covid" at all. The point in that section is well taken. I have to say: restless legs? That shit is real. I experienced it as a side effect of a medication. To me, it stands to reason that if it can be substance-induced then it probably has some natural origin as well.
I will prize this book. Also, Twitter should reinstate Alex at once.
