We are now living in an era where the Executive branch of the federal government can pretty much ignore enforcing laws or listening to the federal courts. Biden et al. and the bureaucracy will do somethings if "forced" but if they really have skin in the game for what they want to accomplish, who is actually going make to do anything? Are federal marshals unleashed by the courts going to go place handcuffs on ole Joe or anyone else in his ruling circle? Highly doubtful. Trump tried to get the military to withdraw the 1,000 or so soldiers we have in northeast Syria guarding a certain oil field that sends discount petrol to the coast to get picked up by some "friends" of ours and the Joint Chiefs said, "no, we don't think so...Sir." Did DJT have his own praetorian guard to go arrest Milley and the others? No, he didn't. When federal law is broken everyday, such as on the southwest border, and nothing is really done about it, its time to admit we are now living in a post-lawful country. And it won't end well...
I didn’t know that it was the JCS that forced Trump to maintain that forlorn contingent in Syria. I guess technically with that armed uninvited presence in an unwilling sovereign country we are at war, of course not declared, with Syria. Not only this is a disgrace, but it makes it impossible for Trump to say that he didn’t start a war during his term
My paratroop kid spent 7 months in ne Syria in 2020/21. They were told they were there to keep the remnants of ISIS in check. In reality, they spent the first 3 months playing bumper cars with the Russians (literally bumper cars in some instances) and last 4 months guarding the oil field that was controlled by the Kurds. He liked the Kurds mostly-- the local Kurds had a contract to supply the American troops with their meals-- but there was no doubt that keeping that little but steady supply of oil to the coast to get picked up my our little friends in the region was the main reason the paratroopers were there.
This is a perfect example of a govt that is out of control. The CIC says pull the troops out. "Yes sir we did". A lie, they just shuffled them elsewhere. Kinda like the last days of the Roman Empire.

I note that Judge Clarke has done a lot of work for the federal government, that she was nominated to the bench by defendant Biden, that her nomination was initially rejected but approved on the second try after Democrats got a majority in the Senate, and that she's only been on the bench since April of this year, less than six months. In the federal system, there's virtually no chance of changing judges, but many federal judges are able to put their biases aside and decide cases fairly on their merits. Good luck.

Nearly all charges against those who burned, looted and vandalized property during the George Floyd riots of 2020 were dropped, while many J6 defendants are still in jail awaiting trial, and others have been sentenced to decades in prison for what was essentially a trespass. The justice system is not always just.

I see nothing in the biblical text suggesting Pilate was jesting, any more than I think Justice Jackson was joking when she said she could not define what a woman is.
