Thanks for circulating this broadly, Alex. I was there, and Matt’s thoughtful insights and brilliant observations were both hilarious and shocking. The crowd was captivated —realized they were hearing the real thing, the unvarnished truth indeed.

Man...that speech was inspiring!

Then he was immediately censored.

The point being if you say anything against the establishment, like exposing them for the criminals they are, you will be censored.

We have fallen so far that this incredibly powerful speech would've been laughable prior to The Patriot Act.

Think about that for a second...we're actually having to fight for our most sacred right that heretofore was universally understood as sacrosanct in our country.

And that tells you how far we are away from what The Founders intended. It also tells you how much work we have left...probably generational.

Prepare...and try to find the Tiabbi's of the world; people who you may disagree with on many issues but still hold 1A as our foundation of freedom.

Yes, it is important that conservatives do their part....but it's far more important to have courageous people like Taibbi to stand against the tribe.

And that right there is our job. They are out there.

May I suggest two others, with whom you may disagree on many things, but are staunch 1A:

Glenn Greenwald and Michael Shellenberger. Glenn is on Rumble, but provides transcripts of his shows; Michael's Substack is Public.

I love Shellenberger's reporting even if it scares me. So much integrity. Or as the kids say today, "based"

Oh no. Those are the folks who I'm talking about.

I should've clarified that Taibbi is representative.

Glad to highlight them both. And there are more, but maybe not enough.

It has been so refreshing to see so many more previous DEM voters finally waking up to this serious threat to "we the people" from the managerial class. This election in Nov is not RED vs BLUE. It is the PEOPLE vs the managerial class. Freedom vs Tyranny

To everyone depressed thinking "How will we ever beat these people, how will we ever dismantle this?" Matt offers the great American solution. When the authorities ask you to do something stupid or humiliating, the answer is "fuck you".

An outstanding speech. Should be required reading before any American casts his or her vote.

Print it and circulate copies to every public building, cafe, diner, health club and store you can.

It was moving... brought me to tears. Love Matt's passion and truth.

Sounds just like their drugging of kids in classrooms for not sitting still during their lectures…

“ Where are NPCs made? They are in large part the end-product of pharmaceuticals. When not paying attention to one’s teacher becomes a treatable medical condition, the only possible future classroom is one in which total obedience is the norm”

Thank y’all for speaking out on this!

My son's 3rd grade teacher complained that he spent too much time looking out the window. I told her to make her class more interesting to 8-year-old boys.

Not a joke, this year on the American Board of Pediatrics exam (periodic recertification exam all pediatricians are forced to take), there was a question explicitly encouraging ADHD testing on a seven year old boy for daydreaming during class. These people are twisted. Bless you for standing up for your son!

Tiabbi's reference to John Kerry's comments that our Freedom of Speech is the culprit for why our Elite's cannot govern, spoken at the World Economic Forum, ought to be heard by everyone, left, right and center; that sees America as an ideal to be continuously strived for. Kerry's comments are nothing less than treason.

If everyone stopped refuting climate change, then Kerry could make more money. He's mega rich so he knows what's best for the world but we little free speech loving peasants get in his way.

Thanks Alex. I had already read the transcript this morning and you are correct to say it is necessary. I was dismayed while reading through the comment section on Racket. There seems to be large coalition of sheeple, that attempt to twist and spin any rational speech about free speech into a bad and censorable narrative, that are blinded to truth. One clown brought up past American transgressions, as supposed evidence, that exhibiting a pro American attitude was responsible. These clowns are too dense to realize that the assault on free speech will lead to the elites' re-gaining control of their globalist narratives, which were the cause of the transgressions to begin with.

I saw those comments too, and I’m wondering if they aren’t leftist trolls. Some comments were atypical of Taibbi’s audience and I imagine they are meant to disrupt the conversation there. Which could be a sign that they’re more fearful the narrative is changing than they let on?

I read thru that thread as well. Huge case of "whataboutism" that was completely off topic and it went on and on. Like you state, the fact that our govt has committed some horrible atrocities, like getting into bed with organized crime just for starters, is precisely WHY we need free speech and dissent and access to information. Sheesh.

Matt has a lot of trolls. His comments are fun for me, in a twisted way.

As we all know in this forum, our world has and continues to change. It’s started small at first and lately ratchet it up quite a bit. Started with the indoctrination of the young in public school many years ago. Win the minds of the young and you win the future you want.

One world order. That’s our future and most of the indoctrinated young people embrace this ideology. And will fight as instructed by those that have their minds against any descent.

Can we change course and take back our government, media and the minds of our young? Let’s hope it’s not too late.
