These were not small matters. They inverted the concept of protecting the vulnerable and then attempted to enforce a solitary regimen of lockdowns and "vax" for all. It's disturbing and Dr. Robert Malone points out vastly illegal and against all known bioethics.

Yep. Scott Adams has already been beating this horse (now, nearly dead). Essentially, he implicitly concedes that he was wrong by getting vaccinated, but anyone who wisely chose to avoid the shots did it simply by “guessing right.” It’s a form of cognitive dissonance, although I acknowledge his larger point that everyone was to some extent making an informed guess.

Expand full comment

Was not a guess on my part. It was a ton of research and then a decision about the relative risk of covid vs. the vaccine.

Expand full comment

Plus the lies, coverups, censorship, threats, cancelations, coercion etc re the pfake plague hysteria and the "safe & effective" vaccine destroyed the vax crusade's credibility. A reasonable person thinks "why the epic hustle if it's so great?", and acts with abundance of caution.

Yep, it wasn’t a total guess. It was an informed decision based on data, probabilities, etc for a given person with a certain health status, while also applying a healthy degree of skepticism towards those with vested interests (pharma, politicians, St. Fauci). The fact that the decision was not made with perfect information does not detract from it being an informed decision. If anything, that made the decision all the more impressive.

Expand full comment
founding

Yes!

Expand full comment

Not to mention, we didn't have perfect information. Still don't. To me, when it comes to the jabs, it's about "erring on the side of caution." I've always considered agreeing to the injections a much less cautious choice than running into the virus.

Let's see: never been a successful coronavirus vaccine ever (in fact they've been disasters), never been a successful mRNA vaccine ever, and then Klaus Schwab and the billionaires who have made literally trillions destroying freedom and private business and view overpopulation as the ultimate threat want me to take an mRNA Coronavirus vaccine with zero long term safety data for a virus that kills the obese and the elderly?

I wasn't guessing either.

Therefore, the most amount of time they could have tested this new vaccine is 15 months, probably less, but definitely not enough time to look for long term consequences if you define "long term" as longer than 15 months. Also, this is a new technology that has never been used in vaccines before and hijacks the metabolism of my cells and is irreversible once injected.... OK SURE YOU CAN JAB ME WITH IT BUT YOU HAVE TO GIVE ME A DONUT FIRST!"

It's an insult for Adams and others to think that people who chose to wait for more information were basically "guessing". Considering the first vaccines only arrived in Dec 2020, there was nearly a year of actual real world data that 1) nearly everyone recovers unless you have other serious morbidity, and 2) it was impossible for any long term safety studies to be undertaken.

So in truth, the WISEST course of action for nearly everyone would have been to wait, at the very least until there was more real world data on the vaccine effectiveness and side effects. It was only the full court press by the media, medical establishment, and politicians to brainwash people into thinking they would die (or at least grandma would die) unless you got the vax that led to even a majority getting the jab. (This mass psychosis is now becoming a huge discussion point, and rightfully so.)

Expand full comment

At the hospital where I work a lot of people were astonished that I wasn't getting it, especially since I provide some direct patient care to covid patients. I simply said I was open to getting it but based on prior attempts to create a vaccine for a coronavirus combined with the novel technology involved I was going to wait until I had satisfactory answers to the following questions. 1) Does it work? 2) If it works how long? 3) What are the side effects, especially long term side effects. Based on the answers we have now, and my risk factors, I am waiting until they have a vaccine that prevents me from getting covid...

Scott Adams is a cartoonist and internet personality, meaning he is essentially a celebrity. As such, his working income is dependent upon maintaining his following. Earlier this year he exhorted his following to get the vaccination, which is now not working out for many people, including some of his following. He is now backpaddling in order to maintain his following.

Trump could easily say -- or claim anyway -- "these are not the vaccines I was promised". I don't really expect any politician, Trump or Biden or deSantis or whoever, to understand the very complicated science regarding these things. They are totally dependent on others for the executive summaries. But a little humility is certainly in order.

And I was a Trump voter, too. Reluctantly in 2016 but firmly in 2020. Trump may actually be lucky he wasn't re-elected, because a lot of the crap now happening under Biden would have happened anyway, and Trump would have been blamed.

Yep, I agree 100%. Trump could so easily make lemonade with the vaccine lemons, if he could just get over his pride a little.

I researched, watched, noticed the hypocrisy and contradictions, and make the right decision for me. Even if there were no issues with the vaccine, I still would not put that into my body.

Expand full comment

Not guessing here. I'm a med lab tech. Those cloth & paper masks do not work. Fact.

N95s reduce load BUT ask any nurse or doctor if a mask will protect against measles or tb & you'll get a knee jerk reaction. NO. Fact.

You cannot diagnose based on pcr. Fact.

Those 2 facts told me they were lying.

I read the description of the vaxes & *immediately* questioned how long the lipid-enveloped mRNA persisted. CRICKETS.

Because FACT mRNA causes systemic inflammation so our bodies evolved to break it down fast.

I knew in advance we would never be able to eradicate sarscov via vax (a la smallpox) because 1. FACT coronaviruses as a class mutate faster than we can develop, manufacture & distribute vaxes, 2. FACT there are numerous animal reservoirs for coronaviruses to hideout in.

Unlike Smallpox which is FACT comparatively stable as in the decades long eradication program it never mutated around it sterilizing vax and FACT it is human-specific, ie has no animal reservoir to hide in.

And so on ...

Even as far back as the Pfizer trials we knew that the "vaccinated" were dying at a significantly higher rate than the "unvaccinated". If you know how clinical trials are designed, and how Big Pharma bends over backwards to tilt the board in their advantage, you knew that the real-world outcomes were going to be far worse.

2) Poverty - Increase the poverty level as high as possible. Poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them.

3) Debt - Increase the debt to an unsustainable level. That way you are able to increase taxes, and this will produce more poverty.

4) Gun Control - Remove the ability of people to defend themselves from the government. That way you are able to create a police state.

5) Welfare - Take control of every aspect (food, housing, income) of their lives because that will make them fully dependent on the government.

6) Education - Take control of what people read and listen to. Take control of what children learn in school.

7) Religion - Remove the belief in God from government and schools because the people need to believe that ONLY the government knows what is best.

8) Class Warfare - Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. Eliminate the middle class. This will cause more discontent, and it will be easier to tax the wealthy with the support of the poor.

You should also take note that during the Kennedy administration Nikita Khrushchev told our ambassador at a United Nations conference “You won’t need Russia to destroy you. You will destroy yourself from within.”

HOPE YOU’LL PASS THIS ALONG

I think a case could be made for abolition of the CDC and most of the federal “public health” infrastructure, because they have a long track record of corruption, abuse of the public, incompetence, and (often successful) avoidance of any accountability at any level. Same case for FDA - I could see a case for FDA certifying safety, but not having the ability to block substances from being used - but Underwriters Laboratories does this for household appliances, and does a very good job of it, so perhaps that approach could be taken. In any case, major changes have to be made and wrongdoers held accountable. We don't need CDC, and they have a long record of abuse and wrongdoing - see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tuskegee_Syphilis_Study and https://www.spin.com/2015/10/aids-and-the-azt-scandal-spin-1989-feature-sins-of-omission/ for a few examples. They've killed millions, and there's never been accountability for their bad acts. We're talking about 90 years of abuse and death without accountability, millions of lives ruined, with bad actors raking in millions, potentially billions of profits. The part of CDC in Atlanta not utterly demolished should be made into a museum, like the Holocaust Museum, which chronicles its deeds, and memorializes its innocent, trusting victims.https://streamfortyseven.substack.com/p/really-interesting-parallels-with

The rot and corruption in those agencies runs *far* too deep to allow their continued existence. They're essentially criminal organizations - it's not just a few bad apples, it's the entire barrel. It's a culture of corruption and incompetence, and the answer is to abolish entirely the structure, prosecute those who took an active role, and who aided and abetted the criminality, and then think long and hard before starting over from scratch.

Expand full comment

We're going around and around on this, you've commented here and on other places I've made this comment, with same agenda - to protect the various agencies involved. Are you employed by these agencies, or do you get research funded by them, or what? It's pretty obvious that there is a long track record of corruption here, rising to the level of racketeering - if these agencies weren't governmental, a RICO prosecution would be in order. Instead, your instinct is to protect these agencies...

After this fiasco, I don't think many people are going to be trusting Big Pharma any farther than they can throw them, especially if the whole truth comes out. The same case for "public health" agencies - federal and state - who get caught lying in favor of an illegitimate agenda, and assert illegal powers. And sometimes you have to tear down the building and start over. And it's not like that hasn't been done with agencies and governments which have been found to be corrupt and incompetent from top to bottom. And I'm still wondering if you have an interest you're protecting here and in other places.

Expand full comment

I'm still wondering why you're wondering.

You don't fix corruption by blowing up the whole building. We're quite capable of identifying the corruption and excising it. Those who want to eliminate the overseers must trust phizer to do take care of us. I don't expect your instinct is to protect phizer. But I don't want to blow up substack because it's possible you do.

Punish a few, the rest will straighten up. The question is, do we need somebody to manage disease research. Yes, we do. But like any employees, they need to be supervised. All humans are either corrupt or corruptible. It's our nature. Accountability keeps us honest. The accountability failed, not the agency.

Expand full comment

Abolish -- no. Overhaul -- yes. Prosecute criminals -- with extreme prejudice. We need them. And we need FDA, NIH, even NIAID. But we need them to perform competently. Their real job, like all of government, is to make sure industry doesn't abuse us. The real job of the press is to make sure government doesn't abuse us. It's our job to make sure the press doesn't abuse us. We failed, so they failed. The real crime is Pfizer and their industry. Failures of government, the press, and ourselves, made it happen. It will happen again unless we stop it.

This panic over Covid-19 has caused an unbelievable number of failures, deaths, lost incomes, careers and freedoms, so it's hard to say "the worst part of this is..." However, at least ONE of the worst results of this is the general public's tremendous loss of respect for our Doctors.

I don't mind the loss of respect for our politicians or the health insurance companies (both lost my respect a long, long time ago) but distrusting our doctors and the healthcare system in general seems to have reached nearly catastrophic levels. That distrust and loss of respect is now widespread and deep.

Will enough Doctors step up with the truth and attempt to regain some of that? I'm not sure they can.
