I worked on psych units for years. The first thing you learn is you don’t reinforce peoples delusions. You reflect reality back to them. Your not Jesus Christ your Joe Blow. We as a people have been far to accommodating to this delusion. There are many longitudinal studies that have demonstrated that if left alone or provided supportive cognitive behavioral therapy 80% of those with gender dysmorphia become comfortable in their bodies and most come out as gay.

I'm old enough to remember the "plastic bags at the grocery store" psyop. Do you remember that? When I was a child, they packed your groceries in paper bags at the supermarket. My dad would use them for the trash. Voila! Recycling! Almost every food was packaged in a paper product, glass, or a can. Plastic wasn't used much and was frowned upon for food (good instincts, I guess).
I really don't know when it started (maybe the 80s), but we started hearing about the trees. For many years, we were asked "paper or plastic?". What seems lost on a lot of people is that the very concept of trans-sexuality absolutely obliterates the concepts of hetero and homosexuality. If gender is a mere construct, then a homosexual couple can become heterosexual simply because one of the parties identifies as other than their birth gender. The converse is true for heterosexual couples. Two gay men can become two lesbians in the same way.
If we are really going to ignore the physical markers of sex and gender, there is really no other possible result.
