Greta Thunberg did a great job weakening Europe for Putin. They are dependent on his oil because green energy is inadequate. She does look like him... could she be a bastard child mole... impossible to be too cynical...

I wrote an article about exactly that.

http://tritorch.com/suicide

When Europe takes a power plant offline, they do not just take it offline. They bring in a demolition crew and destroy it. The implications of this are staggering when you consider the fact that once they are gone, they are gone for good...and it takes a long time to build a new one.

Expand full comment

From your article fortiori:

——

The leadership of Europe has brainwashed their citizens into believing that green energy is feasible when they know full well it is not. Additionally, they've convinced their population that if they do not act by shutting these power plants down, climate change is going to kill them all.

So they're brainwashing their own countrymen to manifest conditions that will kill them, while promising them salvation for doing so.

——

Damn good writing that. It seems that you have a knack for it.

You've piqued my interest with this link, and it is certainly one I will look to read this weekend! The topic also reminds me of a similar 'movement' that occurred throughout the Pennsylvania Coal Region a generation ago, which my father told me about:

Back when my father was a boy, the majority of "common" homes in the region had cast-iron kitchen coal stoves, which were used not only for cooking, but also as a superior home heating source! When the electric company became the behemoth, however, it started pushing the new electric stove. And often, when a family "upgraded" to an electric stove, the appliance stores would remove the coal stoves... and DESTROY them. You can still find an old kitchen coal stove today... but you literally have to hunt them down~

Expand full comment

Ditto except in East Tennessee, Grandparents had wood burning Potbelly for heat, cast iron stove for cooking, out house. Kerosene lamps. Grandpa put in a Citzern to filter the rain water. Out door pump, but he put in a kitchen sink smaller one. I remeber in the summer we grand kids took baths in a #10 washtub on the back porch. I still have her canner, and chicken cast iron fry pan well blackened. My sister who is younger has her creamic rolling pin. They got electric when they moved north.

Grandma had the Aga. Daughter-in-law continued the tradition. It was an art to understand the different plates and ovens. Build up the fire from the embers early morning - heat and cooking 24/7. P.S. While the Europeans aren't willing to embargo the shipment of Gucci shoes, or Belgian diamonds, we all had better hope that the Russians don't retaliate.

If they stopped exporting oil for a few months, the entire financialized pyramid of debt and overvalued bonds in the west would come crashing down, making 2008-9 look like a picnic.

I'm old enough to remember the Arab Oil embargo, and it created the deepest recession since the depression up to that time. The stock market crashed and the S&P 500 ended up trading at something like 7 times earnings. Inflation and unemployment exploded.

Whatever you think of the morality/sanity of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, what's especially scary is the utter stupidity of the West's response. The White House has been saying for at least 2 weeks that Russia was going to invade.

Yet only now they want to send weapons? And exactly how are they going to get them there with Russia controlling the territory. And would that be considered a provocation that justifies Russia shooting at other countries?

What happens if we cut them off of SWIFT? How are the Europeans exactly supposed to pay them for the gas and oil that they are entirely dependent on? The Western "leaders" think the Russians will just keep on delivering without payment? What happens to the USD as a global reserve currency?

Russia has run a trade surplus since at least 2015, and has a ton of foreign reserves, gold, and of course its territory is full of all the resources the world is so short of now like petroleum, gas, minerals, timber, etc. Who needs who more?

And is the invasion of Ukraine any more morally odious than the Chinese genocide against the Uighurs?

American and the West needs to wake up and confront actual reality.

You have to get City Hall, the labor unions, the construction companies, the banks, and the Mafia all in a room, where you tell them in no uncertain terms to sit the hell down, shut the hell up, and do what he says. Instead we have a regime who thinks this is just an episode of The West Wing, and that's the ones who are in the building. The ones not even in the building are phoning in their part-time advice to the dementia patient and his "staff" from a mansion on Martha's Vineyard, on their way to lunch with Beyonce and Whoopi to discuss new ways to implement their black supremacist agenda. I defy you to name *one* thing this crew accomplished in their 8 years in The White House, and these are the exact same people in charge today. Andrea Mitchell and Hilary just outlined one of the "options" being offered to the addled patient with his brains leaking out of his ears: cyber attacks on Russia, that would turn the lights off in Moscow and send the subway trains off their tracks. But hello, the Russians and Chinese *are much more competent* in cyber warfare than anything the gender fluid equity hires in the CIA or the Pentagon could ever pull off, which means it's the New York lights and the Chicago trains that would be the ones going off the rails. Putin made it very clear he views cyber attacks as *acts of war*. That we would begin such in defense of Ukraine, *a country with which we have NO military defense treaty in place*, is fantasy insanity of the highest order. Add in the hypersonic missile fleet Vlad has, which we've just seen neutralize the entire Ukrainian air defense system in honestly less than 10 minutes (more like 5), systems that YOU bought with YOUR tax money (or at least what money was left over after Hilary and Joe, James, Mary, and of course Hunter Biden stole as much as they could) and you're led to the conclusion: elections have consequences, and stolen elections have catastrophic consequences.

So there is the human trafficking and fentanyl cabal at the border, the massive Permanent War cabal, the central banking cabal making sure all the money flows in the society concentrate upwards, the fairly new but fast growing Green Scam cabal, and of course the Pharma Industrial Complex cabal making sure people get sick and pay handsomely to stay that way. Generals Milley and Austin stated repeatedly and publicly, to murmurs of approval across the entire press corps, that the top, not one of, or one of the top, but THE TOP military threat currently facing The United States Of America is, wait for it, THE WEATHER ("climate change"). The second most terrifying and capable enemy they managed to locate was apparently WITHIN THEIR VERY OWN RANKS: soldiers of the race that encompasses two thirds of the nation's population (i.e. white). But wait, there's more: within that dastardly and sinister group, lurking in plain sight in the battalions, was a subset of persons they saw fit to call out individually: THOSE WHO HOLD EXCESSIVELY "PATRIOTIC" VIEWS. It's a wonder Putin doesn't just try to grab Alaska or Maine at this point: IT WOULD BE A CAKEWALK.

MEANTIME about KIDS and Pfizer VACCINE TRIALS. Stanford got positive results for 2-doses in 6-20 months of age. And they are working on 3-doses for 2-4 year olds. They plan to submit to the FDA in April.

Doctor Maldonado: So, we started doing [Pfizer vaccine childrens'] trials here at Stanford; we're one of many sites around the country that are doing these trials. Because people in the Bay Area have been so eager to have their children [take] part [in the vaccine trials]. We have been enrolling a high number of families into the trial here. People have just been really wanting to participate, and it really does help us move the studies forward. We were able to get the 5 to 11 year old vaccines approved [under EUA] in November.

We started the under 5 year old [Pfizer vaccine trials] before November, last summer. But really, we're focusing on the older kids just to get those finished and done. But the under 5 year olds are broken into two groups: 6 months to 2-3 months of age. And then 24 months to 4 years of age, so 2 to 4 [year olds]. The original study was a two-dose study because as we know, both of the mRNA vaccines are two doses. For the Pfizer trial, the doses were given three weeks apart. Well, it turns out that the antibody responses, well, the dose given to the under 5 year olds was a lower dose and so was the 5 to 11 year old relative to adults.

The adult dose of the vaccine was thirty micrograms per dose. Now, for the 5 to 11 year olds, the dose was 1/3 of that or ten micrograms per dose, because the higher dose caused more immediate reactions, especially fevers. With the under 5 year olds, it turned out that even the ten microgram dose was also causing higher reactions especially fevers in the smaller children. So, the three micro microgram doses given. So that's one 1/10 of the adult dose. And with those trials, it turns out that in the 6 to 20 months old, the three micro doses worked very well and gave a good antibody response equivalent to the adult dose.

Unfortunately, for the 2 to 4 year olds, that dose did not seem to give the same high level of antibody response. And now none of us have seen the data, because the studies are still blinded, so we don't know what that means. The responses were really pretty good, but not good enough, or whether they really are not great at all. So, we don't know and so because of that, [Pfizer] along with the FDA, discussed putting in a third dose and if we think about it, many of our vaccines for children require more than two or three doses anyway, so that's usually what we need to do to, especially for younger kids, to really boost that immune response.

In the beginning of / middle of January, we were given approval by [Pfizer] and by the FDA to initiate a third dose study for the kids who had already been enrolled with the first two doses. So, we're almost done with that, and we hope that the data will be complete by March so that it can be submitted to the FDA by April.

We think that by early April we should have a vaccine for the under 5 year olds.

The other thing is safety -- safety has not been an issue. Safety has always been really great. It's really been the ability to [get] a really good robust antibody response.

Eshoo: Mm hmm. Mm hmm. Well, we have to take care of our little angels and you've given us a good update on that.

It Is Difficult to Get a Man to Understand Something When His Salary Depends Upon His Not Understanding It -Upton Sinclair(?)

Yes, Upton Sinclair and one of my favorite quotes, particularly when so many scientists/physicians wouldn’t stand up to Fauci’s NIH because he controls the grant money and medical boards control licensing.

Upton Sinclair:  It is difficult to get a man to understand something when his salary depends upon his not understanding it.

I’ll add another because it’s apropos for our times -

It's just like Boys Town except it was founded by Floyd Start, not Father Flanagan.

It's served as a place where affluent families can send their wayward children who get in trouble with the law to avoid the much harsher conditions of the state run Boys Training School.

But that option is now closed, because Starr Commonwealth is currently chockablock full of "unaccompanied children", with no end in sight being the new definition of temporary, as shown in " Temporary" inflation and other meaningless catch phrases.

BTW, guess who pays for renting out the whole facility, hundreds of times the tuition paid by affluent parents when it was still for troubled youth.

That's us of course. Biden is doing his best to Bankrupt Better, and this ridiculously high expense to house kids is just a small part of it.

Not equivalent but hypocrisy. Wait til the crime hits you, unless you're elite. Total comparison is valid

Expand full comment

I think if you are a rationally consistent thinker, then when it comes to the topic of border integrity, you care about both illegal immigrants and military invasion. The principle is the same but the violations are not. And a key reason they're not is that statistically I'm still far more likely to become a victim of violent crime from a fellow citizen than I am an illegal immigrant whereas during a foreign military invasion I'm far more likely to become a victim of the foreign military aggression than I am my fellow citizens.

There is also a completely nonviolent solution to the problem of illegal immigration. End the welfare state. There is no nonviolent solution to military invasion.

Everytime the price of gas goes up , so does Putin's/Russia's income.

Biden is doing just enough to justify Russia going full tilt Cyber Attack, and the stuff about holding sanctions back so there is something in reserve is nonsense.

Sanctions are to prevent war, and if it doesn't work, war is the next step.

If we aren't going to send troops, and we tell Putin that to start, the sanctions are a joke, especially dribbled out half heartedly so it's child's play to move stuff around and keep on trucking for the Russians.

He won't even sanction Putin, or cut him off from Swift.

Russia and China together are a lot more formidable than people realize.

We have lost every simulation of war against China for years now.

China and Russia and Iran and the Arabs are growing in strength daily as a result of Biden's policies, and we are growing weaker every day because of Biden's life's work has been building toward this day.

What part of "Not one inch closer" do we not understand? I predict that Zelensky backs off the NATO talk and Russia keeps a new area as payment for the headache they caused them. The EU was never going to help Ukraine...neither were we. It was just a distraction. Why do you think Russia took over the Chernobyl plant sarcophagus? They knew that was a false flag dream if the area was accidently shelled by "Russia". So they took over that area to make sure anything that looks like Russia did it is out of the equation. I still think it's a possibility depending on the Covid vaccines and whether they may increase cancer rates. Perfect explanation...."Oh no, the increase in cancer is because of Chernobyl releasing something throughout the world"...don't be surprised if this comes down the pipe somehow in this clown world of ass covering.

Of course most of Europe doesn't care about Ukraine. They are dependent on Russia for the resources they want. Ukraine offers them nothing of value. Half the country cheers destroying the lives of people here for pointing out men can’t actually give birth. Across the west we demanded healthcare workers have their lives destroyed for refusing a heart attack shot that doesn’t work, even for people who are already immune. Germany and Austria are taking it further - on both the heart attack shot and energy fronts. The US and Western Europe sold out there people and energy independence at the behest of egotistical billionaires who fly their private jets to Davos to decide how to destroy the west a little bit more every year. These people won’t discuss building levies or improving efficiency or reducing pollution or clean affordable nuclear power. Nope, they prefer us being dependent on tyrants in places like Iran and Russia. They even prefer talking about blocking the suns which will reduce food production and biodiversity if it actually works. C’mon man! Destroying the planet will save the planet?!?!?! 🙄

What makes anyone think the everyday people in the west care anymore which bully is destroying lives? It’s only ok for blackfacehitler and BLM and the woke mob and Pfizer? We should give up even more because some Eastern European tyrant is more violent and a little meaner to his political opposition?

Putin is a bad person, but excepting orange man, our “leaders” have long been more interested in selling us out than planning to deter foreign monsters.

Not to mention our moral crisis - CRT, HR1, attempts to pack the court, the "other" despicable name-calling, Jan 6th nonsense, Canada tyranny, gov't law breaking and blatant hypocrisy, transgenders in women's sports, and I'm sure there is more.

One dimensional. The knee jerk use of sanctions for the shared suffering of all is undermining US leadership and the role of the dollar as the world's currency. No problem for Biden and the parasite class, but this is not much different from covid lockdowns. Suffering for the wealth and tax producers to solve the problems of the tax consumers.

Expand full comment

Exactly. The woke mob can destroy lives because their feelings are hurt, blackfacehitler can lock up political opposition, and lock out of the economy anyone supporting them, BLM and Antifa can burn cities and even kill people without consequence, the masked Covidians can destroy small businesses, isolate a generation of kids for a year, permanently harm the development of toddlers, darken the future of a generation, and destroy the lives of already immune first responders and healthcare workers for refusing a heart attack jab that doesn’t even work. Sanctions, policies, and “emergencies” to hurt everyday people is all the western left knows how to do and they are shockingly efficient at it. Is anyone shocked by more of the same???

This is the problem with the world, in particular the US, in microcosm. The so called leaders embody in their corrupt selves what the people have ratified. That is profit, power, and pleasure over God fearing, virtue, self sacrifice, and true human flourishing. I have often reflected on a revelation given I believe to Servant of God Luisa Piccarreta before WW II. I will paraphrase since I don’t have the passage with me. Luisa saw Jesus standing amidst a city turned into rubble by war. Jesus was weeping and said to her that “I don’t want this to happen but I let it happen so that people return to me.”

Nice comment, but, Jesus is not the only guide to salvation, are you going to declare every other religion irrelevant?

Frankly, I believe there is some sort of Lifeforce, not exactly what George Lucas claims, but, I think there’s something on earth that transcends this flawed human projection that there is some religious figure that is human that rules us allegedly in a benevolent way.

At the end of the day, I think responsible hope and faith is based on people starting by wanting to save themselves, not in a selfish way, but in a self preserving way.

Again, nice comment overall, good luck taking it far…

No search for God is irrelevant. It is a search for truth, goodness, and beauty. Divine truth, goodness, and beauty became incarnate in Jesus Christ so any search whether the person realizes it or not is seeking Him. He loves me no more and no less than He loves you or any other person He has created, and longs to have a relationship with each person to become known to all and reveal His love for each. The goal is to cooperate with His grace and do His will, every day, which is the great adventure of life. Mother Teresa said that; “holiness of life is the simple duty of every person”, and that holiness consists of “doing God’s will with a smile.”

As an American I have just one thing to say ..... I am embarrassed and ashamed to be an American for the first time in my life.

We were once the leaders of the free world, the country that people could look to for support and to do what was right to help the oppressed.

Now we are a woke joke that stands by as a maniacal midget attempts to destroy an entire country' dreams.

We are cowards, our leaders more concerned about polls than dead bodies in a freedom loving country. Our people afraid of a tyrant who threatens nukes.

Are we insane? IF he threatens nukes and we back down he will never stop.

We MUST stand up, WE must regain our pride, We MUST support the people of Ukraine and not stand by.

You’re only now embarrassed after watching what Obama and Trump have done the last 12 years, even the Clintons, hell, even George W. Bush/ The Dick Cheney…

We’ve been ruled by profoundly interpersonally flawed “leaders” for decades, I’ve been disgusted since at least the 1980s, Ronald Reagan was a joke, he was another puppet just like most of these other more recent shit bags. And I have a theory, do you know why you can’t understand Biden, because he is truly a mannequin on a pole, with the Obama Clintons and Darth Cheney holding the pole from up Biden’s ass and sometimes pushing it too far up and it’s clogging the back of his throat

As is usual in these situations, watching live the scenes of human suffering is so difficult. The babies in ICU units being taken to dark underground subway stations, the parents with their children and the bewildered looks on their faces, how quickly happy children and normal live changes to unimaginable horror as a result of crazed wealthy individuals all over the world "playing" with the lives of real human beings on their private "world chess board" for their own amusement. Tragic in it's human toll. Bombing an orphanage for disabled children .... what can be said, all while these perverts play with people as if they are inanimate objects of no value. Diamonds ? Prada ? Egos ? or just plain madness ?

The problem for Biden is that he and his family have been lining their pockets around the world using corrupt practices. Putin, the old KGB guy, certainly knows all the details. Let’s be honest: a bear sleeping peacefully in its den was smoked out of there by being poked with a stick, and now they are wondering why it is chasing those who did that. Moscow has been pushed into a corner and is now demonstrating its strength and standing up for its interests. Now Putin will at best be satisfied with a change of guard in Kiev, and at worst, Ukraine as a state will disappear from the map of Europe. Is it possible to justify an aggression that has been provoked for a long time? This is a matter of a lengthy discussion. One thing is clear: 20 years ago, Russia could and wanted to join NATO and united Europe. However, the latter chose to make Russia an enemy…

Anyone think that Russia might have some leverage over Biden due to his time as Obama’s “lead” in Ukraine and his son’s financial adventures there?

Expand full comment

Russia has leverage over the entire west because our “leaders” sold us out to a bs narrative about how to “fix” the climate with more poverty and less functional energy which made us depend on the tyrants ruling places like Iran and Russia.

The rest is just the leftist political class scraping off the top as most politicians do given the opportunity.

All Hunter’s bill did was give Ukraine false hope we’d be there for them if they saber rattled about wanting to join NATO. Apparently they missed how we’ve left our “friends” over the last 2 decades. Afghanistan should have been a recent reminder to all our “friends” that we are shitty friends. Ukraine missed the memo.

They will obviously have dirt but it's not useful in this circumstance. Taking out or damaging Biden would achieve nothing for the Kremlin. They're pushing back against the Empire.

Keeping Biden and the US from taking action to fortify the energy needs of European nations with our own reserves (while also lowering worldwide oil prices) with such leverage would surely be beneficial to Putin’s efforts and his ability to call a bluff on sanctions.
