Greta Thunberg did a great job weakening Europe for Putin. They are dependent on his oil because green energy is inadequate. She does look like him... could she be a bastard child mole... impossible to be too cynical...

Remember that Robert Gates, Obama's Secretary of Defense, once said: "I think he (Biden) has been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades..." That was in 2014. Nothing has changed.

Please note that the great freedom loving "democracy" of Ukraine just instituted a law prohibiting all age 18-60 males from leaving the country. The Ukraine government is going to force men to fight and lay down their lives for a cause they may neither care about or support because clearly they can't compel enough of them to do so voluntarily. Any government that must coerce its citizens to defend it is not a government worth defending.

I don't think Putin has a mistress. He's a Christian convert.

Pope Benedict criticized the European Union for not mentioning Christianity and God in its Constitution while in Russia hundreds of churches are being built every year.

EU is a wasteland.

In the end, much of politics has become No Hurt Feelings, unless those "feelings" are conservative, sensible, and logical.

We want children to be well educated, but we teach them they can be "transgender" and math is racist.

It's OK to riot without a mask during a pandemic.

The 1619 Project is history.

An autistic teenager can determine international climate policy.

A drug addict suffers from "substance abuse disorder."

If a "vaccine" doesn't work, then change the definition of "vaccine."

If a "vaccines" doesn't work, continue to require more of it.

Are you following this absurdity?

No, Me neither.

This whole thing stinks to high heaven. The media incessantly uses the word "invasion" but where is the evidence? Yes there have clearly been attacks. Where are the cell phone videos of Russian tanks and troops pouring into cities? Where are the videos of skies filled with Russian paratroopers? All I've seen is a few clips of some soldiers walking around and the lone military vehicle here and there.

Clearly Russia has attacked with aircraft bombs and cruise missiles (just as the US has done in Iraq, Syria, Somalia, etc.) but there's near zero evidence of an invasion. Maybe it's happening but people with cameras just happen to be in the wrong place. After the deception we've seen over the last two years (and well before that with US military adventurism), I want hard evidence. So far nothing.

NATO outlived any actual geopolitical usefulness long ago. Trump was right to criticize it as little more than a way for the EU to exploit the US into providing for their defense. But, of course, like Trump did and does, he was all hat, no cattle. Had NATO been dissolved when it should have been, none of this would be happening.

Of course most of Europe doesn't care about Ukraine. They are dependent on Russia for the resources they want. Ukraine offers them nothing of value. Ukraine will be returned to it's pre-2014 form and it will be quickly forgotten about....until the next US/NATO intervention into its politics. Just the latest sideshow to the ongoing globalist circus.

Everyone is going to try and protect their own self interests. Western nations have a lot of economic recovery ahead after the disastrous effects from the pandemic measures and paying to be involved in a war or participate in sanctions that harm any of their main industries is simply not an option. It would be economic suicide. Same reason the USA and Germany are talking a big game, but know that they cannot take the hit of losing the energy resources they get from Russia. Putin knows this, which is why he chose to take action now.

Our “leaders” are getting exactly what they demanded - indifference to authoritarians. We look the other way as blackfacehitler locks up working class political opposition then kinda cheer him “dropping” emergency powers while we refuse to acknowledge a tyrant that can invoke powers at will with no resistance can access them permanently.

Half the country cheers destroying the lives of people here for pointing out men can’t actually give birth. Across the west we demanded healthcare workers have their lives destroyed for refusing a heart attack shot that doesn’t work, even for people who are already immune. Germany and Austria are taking it further - on both the heart attack shot and energy fronts. The US and Western Europe sold out there people and energy independence at the behest of egotistical billionaires who fly their private jets to Davos to decide how to destroy the west a little bit more every year. These people won’t discuss building levies or improving efficiency or reducing pollution or clean affordable nuclear power. Nope, they prefer us being dependent on tyrants in places like Iran and Russia. They even prefer talking about blocking the suns which will reduce food production and biodiversity if it actually works. C’mon man! Destroying the planet will save the planet?!?!?! 🙄

What makes anyone think the everyday people in the west care anymore which bully is destroying lives? It’s only ok for blackfacehitler and BLM and the woke mob and Pfizer? We should give up even more because some Eastern European tyrant is more violent and a little meaner to his political opposition?

Putin is a bad person, but excepting orange man, our “leaders” have long been more interested in selling us out than planning to deter foreign monsters.

Probably doesn’t help our “intelligence” agencies are more focused on harassing soccer moms for signing Jesus loves you with their 5 year old than actual threats to our way of life and economic/ military dominance.

It’s not like leftist promote actual solutions - they massively prefer suffering. Why would people in the west support even more personal suffering to not stop another bully?

Never listen to the words released to the press. Always look at the actions and consequences. That's the real tell.

This is a proxy fight between most disinterested but entangled parties (NATO nations vs. Russia/China bloc). The rest of the NATO nations not US or Germany will want to ensure their interest are not overly impacted because its not their fight. But they have to play the game to an extent.

These types of stories show the truth.

I don't understand something and I'm wondering if someone can explain it to me. I don't understand why we are purchasing oil from Russia instead of pumping it from our own wells all in the name of preventing climate change. Whether it's our oil or Russia's oil doesn't it still pollute? Why would we give up our energy independence to wind up with the same environmental impact but much less national security?

Let's face it, individual courage is waning in the world at the moment, and those that have it (Putin and Xi) are making hay while they have the chance. Trump is a loudmouth and a bit of a jerk, but he has courage and solid negotiation skills that put both evil regimes on pause for 4 years, and now both are speeding ahead while their competition is extraordinarily week. 100% China will seize Taiwan this summer, before the next US Congressional elections.

One dimensional. The knee jerk use of sanctions for the shared suffering of all is undermining US leadership and the role of the dollar as the world's currency. This is the problem with the world, in particular the US, in microcosm. The so called leaders embody in their corrupt selves what the people have ratified. That is profit, power, and pleasure over God fearing, virtue, self sacrifice, and true human flourishing. I have often reflected on a revelation given I believe to Servant of God Luisa Piccarreta before WW II. I will paraphrase since I don’t have the passage with me. Luisa saw Jesus standing amidst a city turned into rubble by war. Jesus was weeping and said to her that “I don’t want this to happen but I let it happen so that people return to me.”

As an American I have just one thing to say ..... I am embarrassed and ashamed to be an American for the first time in my life.

We were once the leaders of the free world, the country that people could look to for support and to do what was right to help the oppressed.

Now we are a woke joke that stands by as a maniacal midget attempts to destroy an entire country' dreams.

We are cowards, our leaders more concerned about polls than dead bodies in a freedom loving country. Our people afraid of a tyrant who threatens nukes.

Are we insane? IF he threatens nukes and we back down he will never stop.

We MUST stand up, WE must regain our pride, We MUST support the people of Ukraine and not stand by.

As is usual in these situations, watching live the scenes of human suffering is so difficult. The babies in ICU units being taken to dark underground subway stations, the parents with their children and the bewildered looks on their faces, how quickly happy children and normal live changes to unimaginable horror as a result of crazed wealthy individuals all over the world "playing" with the lives of real human beings on their private "world chess board" for their own amusement. Tragic in it's human toll. Bombing an orphanage for disabled children .... what can be said, all while these perverts play with people as if they are inanimate objects of no value. Diamonds ? Prada ? Let’s be honest: a bear sleeping peacefully in its den was smoked out of there by being poked with a stick, and now they are wondering why it is chasing those who did that. Moscow has been pushed into a corner and is now demonstrating its strength and standing up for its interests. Now Putin will at best be satisfied with a change of guard in Kiev, and at worst, Ukraine as a state will disappear from the map of Europe. Is it possible to justify an aggression that has been provoked for a long time? This is a matter of a lengthy discussion. One thing is clear: 20 years ago, Russia could and wanted to join NATO and united Europe. However, the latter chose to make Russia an enemy…
