Found you on Twitter in 2019, but I was permanently suspended on January 9, 2020 after 10 years. No warning. I think it was #LaptopFromHell that got me. I’m a 64 year old grandmother of 7, so obviously I’m a huge risk…🙄. Thankful to have found you here. Carry on!

57yo grandma of 5 here ! 🙌

I like to think I’m a huge risk myself 😉

Honestly, you ARE a huge risk. The world looks up to and follows grandmothers. Even a few of you are a huge problem.

No doubt TSA profiles you and pats you down every time you try and clear security. I know you are the people that we are after! What a joke this has all become, too bad it is real. Keep fighting Grandma, you are not alone!

Attention new arrivals:

"Pandemia" is excellent. Full of easy-to-understand information that brings the covid shitshow into focus.

This substack is my go-to source for pandemic-related information that Alex gives us in easily digestible prose. Thank god, too, cuz I sure couldn't understand all the technical stuff.

Whatever you pay--and I hope you do pay--it's the best $$$ you'll spend this year. (Yes, Alex will keep you informed even if you don't pay, but sheesh! The guy should make a buck for his effort.

My family & most of my friends think I'm nuts. "Unreported Truths" keeps me sane.

The gaslighting is real.

Agree completely with this comment, RioRosie. I have both Alex's and RFK's book. I haven't started the RFK book yet, but Pandemia is top-notch. As you said, easy to read, understandable and Alex also throws in some personal narrative to make it very relatable. I've said this before but it bears repeating - I barely align with Alex politically, but am SO thankful for his measured, rational and articulate analysis of the Covid fiasco. And, yes, best money I've spent this past year is on his pamphlets, book and Substack subscription. To borrow from a very annoying right-wing personality: "welcome to the revolution." Let's make this end!

Thank you for recognizing that no one must agree with everyone all the time. That attitude is how America survives; that is how civilization survives. It's a matter of respect for our differences & disagreements, while remembering that we're all entitled to opinions.

Besides, when Alex is correct, he's correct!

;-)

Indeed. To all of the above.

I want to second that point about paying. It's not just that these guys deserve to be paid; it's that the only way we can ensure more and more honest journalists break free from the chains of the controlled media is if "independent journalist" becomes a highly rewarding, desirable, and achievable career path for those who choose to follow it. For any who can afford it, this is the place to invest!

Barnes & Noble?

Otherwise, do you have a small, independent bookstore near you? I imagine they'd order it for you if it's not on the shelf.

Expand full comment

Barnes and Noble said this week on both Alex's book and RFK Jr's that the publisher isn't publishing enough and that is why they don't have it. I have Alex's book but decided to order both just to see how long it takes

Alas, I hear this too often. Of course I'm guilty too--it's just too easy/convenient to download from Amazon to the Kindle.

That said, I can enlarge the font on the Kindle so it's easier on the eyes.

Excuses. Justification. Rationalizing. Yes indeed.

30+ years of reading/editing has taken its toll on my eyes. Therefore, the Kindle was a blessing. Also, when traveling, I can carry a dozen books--on my Kindle. (I worried about luggage weight restrictions when packing four books for a month in Europe.)

I've tried the magnifier. It just doesn't work for me.

I have bookcases full of books--real books! I, too, love the tactile book. I've come to think of them as dear old friends. Some of souvenirs of points in my life. (Oh, yes! I read that on my honeymoon.)

I also have my Beatles LPs that my son claims could fetch a fortune on eBay. I've told him he can do as he pleases with them when I'm dead. The stereo is a distant memory that I jettisoned many years ago.

I'll confess that I'm tethered to my smartphone so I am in instant contact with my dearest friends who all live many, many miles away.

Ah tech...a blessing and a curse, Catherine!

I found Alex on Twitter, and then Substack through Alex. It's changed my life!

By far the best platform for up to the minute information sharing. I think all the time about how this is the first time in world history when the subjects of attempting totalitarians have constant and complete access to one another.

We can organize like no other generation has before, and Alex has been a true leader of this movement!

- No

Ditto

That is precisely why governments are colluding with Big Tech to suppress dissenting views — they are afraid we will look around and figure out that there are way, way more of us than them. Totalitarians and wannabe totalitarians live in fear of this more than anything else, and therefore a large portion of their efforts go to isolating dissenters from others who share their views and suppressing public dissent.

Thanks Alex. Check out the WSJ reporting the CDC says cloth masks do not work against Omicron! They worked before, but not now! Of course they did.

Expand full comment

Also the corrupt head of the CDC says ( Dec 29th) Rochelle Walensky announced in a White House press briefing, that the PCR test can register positive (meaning the person is “infected”) long AFTER infection is over. WTF???

Here is the money quote as reported byJ on Rappaport "people can remain PCR positive for up to 12 weeks after infection and long after they are transmissible and infectious.” Just think of what that means for all the "case (sic) stats" they have been beating us with.

The emperor has no clothes.

People have been screaming about the unreasonably high PCR test cycle thresholds since very early on in this pandemic. So many "I told you so" moments happening right now.

Their official stances change when they realize that certain lies are no longer sustainable. Never before have the lies of bureaucrats been so obvious to people sufficiently curious to do their reading before class.

This technocratic authoritarianism is a bad religion that has nothing to do with public health...or science...or helping the common people.

Yes, it's really a complete outrage that this corruption, greed, and deception have been going on for so long, starting way back in the early 80s. They have the deaths of hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of Americans on their hands, all because of their greed and hunger for power. Sickening.

This is how the resistance works. Pray. Plan. Prepare. Resist as if your life depends on it. It does.

Joe Rogan made a splash and led to six figures of sign-ups on get-her. Maybe a shakeup is forthcoming on social media. Let's see.

Yeah - one look at the people behind gettr had me deleting my nascent account. I’d rather be totally off social media than be on a platform backed by those folks.

Twenty years ago, I had no idea what political party anyone belonged to, even in my own family. We'd argue about ideas and policies, but it was understood that everyone was a mixed bag of beliefs, and we were never judging one another wholesale based on the candidates we supported and voted for. I miss those days...

Authoritarians (and religious nuts) need black and white, Manichaean narratives to keep the sheep from getting curious and questioning the narrative, so that is what the government, Big Tech and corporate provide.

The founders of Gettr have connections to the CCP. Would you want to hand them your data and dissenting opinion?

Expand full comment

Are you writing this on something with an Android or Mac OS running system? You've already handed over your "data" and "dissenting opinion," among others to the CCP and everyone else on God's green earth. If you believe that Mac and Microsoft aren't selling your data to any and all buyers, I have a bridge to sell you.

Expand full comment

Yeah. But the volumes at which it is happening can mask tiny people like me. On Gettr it’s a much smaller list.

Even the NSA is listening to our phone conversations but since there are millions of them you have to really stand out to be flagged.

But if they listened to all calls in a small group of people you’re easier to spot.

I have no illusions that if you’re on the grid you’re being tracked. The question is how big is the grid and how much of an outlier you are.

Expand full comment

Yeah, I've heard that vague accusation multiple times today, coincidentally right when GETTR's getting a lot of attention. Anybody have any actual proof of that? Jason Miller used to work for Trump, the sworn enemy of the CCP, so I'd need hard evidence that he's "connected" to them...
