These mandates are extremely useful to the higher ed machine. By this surrogate, they can immediately discriminate between sheep that will follow instructions and those students that will question authority (the type of student they want to exclude). For this reason, pure discrimination, schools will not want to walk back these mandates.

In return, we should abolish higher ed non profit status and send about 86,000 of those new, well-armed IRS agents to audit the dusty endowment investment accounts - where too many wealthy, unwitting Americans have foolishly entrusted their wealth.

It's true. My daughter could technically attend her former university (assuming they accepted her exemption request) by masking and testing weekly, but she refuses. Nor does she want to send money to an institution that doesn't respect informed consent. Most people with principles (and/or who are Republican) have been shoved out of the "elite" universities.

As homeschoolers up until college, we've been highly unimpressed with what they had to offer anyway. My son did a couple of semesters of community college when he was high school aged then asked me, why should we pay money for him to learn less well than he does on his own? For him, that was the end of that. I told my daughter the university would be better than community college, people would be more intellectually engaged. Nope, not true at all. Her community college professors answered her questions happily, the university ones said things like "That won't be on the exam" or "You'll learn about that next semester" or "That's a bit off-topic" (when it totally wasn't). And as for the other students? They talked very little and the zoom classes looked like a support group for the clinically depressed. We're just done.

Some of the best jobs, high paying jobs in much needed fields require no university education. A welder, plumber, and electrician are sorely needed in this country and tier up to $100K very quickly after your apprenticeship ends.

Not just students! I was forced out of an employment position at the University of Michigan for refusing to accept a booster. Coincidentally, the UM hospital currently shows 14 un-vaccinated patients and 18 vaccinated patients. https://www.uofmhealth.org/coronavirus/covid19-numbers

The New School, also in NYC, is the same. But I think people under 50 only are required to have 1 booster and we’re past that phase with my daughter, a sophomore. But I can’t help her move in because I’m not vaccinated. It’s just crazy coming from Arizona, where we’re all fine without these insane restrictions. Just makes my blood boil.

With all due respect - It’s seems to me its your money…so your choice of what school your daughter attends. I find it amazing so many parents let their children be jabbed knowing they have an extremely low chance of severe covid….extremely low. Especially when the parent is not jabbing themselves. Make it make sense to me please and thank you.

It's not as simple as that, nor as this quick explanation is going to be, but as an adult the choice of school was hers, as was whether or not to take the risk of getting vaccinated. How the school is paid for doesn't really matter. She knows how I feel, and she also knows that I respect her freedom to make her own decisions even if I don't agree with them and they make me worry. Believe me, we weighed all her options and I lobbied heavily for schools that didn't mandate anything. My hope and expectation is that she will get through this experience relatively unscathed...It's what I pray for every day.

Im truly trying to understand. I know you must be scared to death. Being a young woman at least gives her less chance of ruining her heart with the myocarditis. But you know the jabs will continue so thats what bothers me. Ill bet by late fall she’ll have to get another one.

If MOST parents would of taken a stand early on this would not be an issue. They want your money after all. When our kids went to college we made the important decisions with their feedback since we were paying. There in the 40’s now so I guess life was different back then and perhaps they weren’t as mature as your daughter. Im sorry that youre in this position. It’s incredibly hard to say no to an adult child….I get that…believe me. Our son didnt talk to us for a year because we wouldnt allow him to go to a college he wanted to go to (girlfriend going there). Luckily he got over it. Maybe your daughter wouldn't of so its the right decision for you. Take care and blessing to you and your daughter.

Part of it was timing...This was a year ago when we were going through all this, so July/August of 2021. I'm not sure that the risks were as clear as they are now so I didn't have a ton of studies and reports to back up my position. And, as significant as they are, vaccine injuries and deaths are still pretty rare: Like I said, she's fine, her friends are fine, and everyone I know who's taken the vaccine are all fine and I hope they stay fine. If I remember correctly we did try to get an exemption, and even got a doctor's letter, but I guess it was denied or maybe we didn't get the letter in in time...Sorry I'm repressing all this lol. Maybe not going to your dream school would have been the more mature choice, but it's really not for me to say to a 19-year-old. Again, all this is an oversimplification of a total cluster that I wouldn't wish on any family.

You don't really know she is fine. I really worry about future fertility and cancer. I begged my adult daughter to not get the jab and thankfully she didn't! My adult son I think has had at least 3 if not 4. He lives in NYC and got paid $100 for the each of the boosters

True, but then I don't really know if anyone is fine because we're all ticking time bombs more or less. I just need to take things day by day as much as I can for my own sanity. I am in the same position! My two older kids had gotten shots at college early on — before I had full blown skepticism. My spouse keeps getting shots and thinks I am a kook. This is so true. We really need to try not to judge. I was asking at the beginning of this thread because I truly wanted to understand why someone would pay for an expensive university if he felt his daughter had a chance of getting harmed by this jab….no matter how small the chance….and of course we have no idea about her future consequences. We dont know what the details are. As I said above we wouldnt allow our son to go to the college he wanted way back in 1998….and he was so pissed and then went into depression. His roommate at the school he did go to called us several times concerned for his well being. It was one of the worst years of my life waiting to see if he’d overcome. He did and then some. But not without a lot of worry much like he will worry for her life time time. It’s all so hard…

21 deaths vs 17 deaths in the Pfizer trial is not "basically exactly even deaths." There's a 20% difference in deaths - slanted TOWARD the treatment arm. The hospitalization data isn't quiet as bad, it's only about a 6% difference (71 vs 66), but in both cases, the treatment arm is higher than the placebo arm. I don't understand how we continue to get this wrong. The trial made VERY clear your likelihood of a severe outcome or death was, CLEARLY, higher if you received the vaccine than if you did not.

Why we continue to argue about questions that were already answered before the drug ever left trials makes no sense to me.

If the data had pointed the other direction you could have made an argument it was due to trial design, or the data had been gamed, etc... but when the trial, that was designed, implemented, executed, and REPORTED ON by the drug company shows the drug doesn't work, you should probably believe them...

Expand full comment

I totally agree. And whenever I told people these numbers, so far 100% of them were surprised there are more deaths in the vaxxed group. Also, 100% of them started to question the narrative. I have converted some vaccine zealots by just showing them the Pfizer trial data (the FDA document).

It's so corrupt of FDA to falsely "approve" this killer vaccine.

Expand full comment

Corruption is the only reason the FDA exists in the first place. The bureaucratic state exists for only two reasons - government is a ponzi scheme and must continue to grow and spend in order to continue to exist, and because it is significantly easier to win a competition by controlling the rules than it is to win by consistently being the best. It's the same reason the SEC exists. ~60 years the government realized it could be small and nimble and aggressive against the growing threat of monopolistic corporate activity OR it could simply grow larger than even the largest corporation and be fat and lazy and only have to monitor a handful of giant companies (by actively encouraging market consolidation by making money free for large asset organizations) and not really care what they do. Which path would you guess they took?

Expand full comment

People I knew that took the jab back when the jabs were first offered, did not for the most part get sick for any extended period of time. I live in a somewhat retirement community. We have had some deaths which all were heart attacks. Do not know about vaccine status. However all those that got vaccinated also this spring and summer got the virus. Some got boosters. So they have all gotten sick, some quite sick and were vaccinated. Nobody will talk about vaccines. I know one woman that has had virus 4x and is fully vaccinated. Unreal.

I would expect deaths and serious health issues to just keep dribbling out over years. I have noticed several drownings after person fell. Why did they fall? Maybe deaths go up after mass vaccinations, but again I believe the damage to the vaccinated varies from person to person and it may be years before we see that person succumb which is what big pharma is counting on. The closer to the jab, the more the tie to vaccine.

Robert Kennedy Jr recently noted that parents now are questioning all vaccines. He believes we are over vaccinated. It sure makes me wonder how I have managed to live without the gross number of vaccines kids get today. The number is 70 jabs by 17? Yikes. What are all these vaccines doing to our children’s systems?

Expand full comment

People should start going after Institutions -whether they be schools or employers if they are harmed by this vaccine, if they were coerced into taking it. Especially after all of the data that has come out, and what has been misreported or buried. They must be held accountable.

Saw several doctors. His fiancee a nurse finally got a doctor to prescribe IVM, Zinc and Quecetin. He started recovering soon thereafter. The middle son caught Omicron. Whipped his backside for a couple of days because he wanted to sleep all the time. Better on third day. 80% on fourth day. Back to work a week later. He took vitamins, some IVM, Zinc and D3 along with a Cold and Flu Shot natural mix from Dr. Schultze. No vaxes or boosters in the family. I worked in 100 degree heat all of yesterday hauling a bed set upstairs out of the pick up and cut down a small tree among other things. I think I am doing okay at 74.

My wife and I paid for three sons to obtain engineering degrees. As the last son finished up we became painfully aware of the team concept which protected profs from giving bad grades to underperforming students. Usually two team members did all the work and the other five contributed little but road the coattails of the two workhorses to a nice team grade. That was ten years ago. Corrupt then. Now the grants from the "Federal Lack of Government" are just too lucrative to pass up if they don't mandate students get vaxed and boosted. So a few students drop prematurely dead. I imagine college presidents will quote Hillary who said, "What difference does it make?" You know money is money! Even more corrupt now!

Hi Alex. These numbers from NZ have been relatively stable. The rate in the 20-29 and 10-19 age groups have been relatively higher since vaccination of those age groups began (late 2021 IIRC). IIRC they crept up from around 0.70 or 0.80.

Until November 2021 Medsafe published their safety report weekly. They relaxed the schedule (coinciding with the vaccination of children) and we now get a report only every 2 months.

I have corresponded with MedSafe regarding the URF (under-reporting factor) for vaccination adverse events (stats given on the same page linked to by you above). They refused to state a URF for the Covid vaccines, but said they had previously estimated (for all vaccines) that only 5% of AEs were reported (in 2001). Doing the same URF estimate as Steve Kirsch (using Mass General Brigham anaphylaxis data) yielded a URF for New Zealand of exactly 20 when I did it (so agreeing precisely with Medsafe's earlier estimate).

Let me know if you would like me to e-mail you my correspondence with Medsafe (not long).
