Thank you for your thoughtful post and for being here! I haven’t clicked through to read the comments yet, but wanted to address the issues you raised. Regarding the WEF, I’ve never been a member or had anything to do with them. They put my picture on their website without asking or informing me. I’ve talked to others who said the same thing happened to them. Regarding CFR, I joined the Foreign Affairs committee when I was first in Congress. I became a term (temporary) member of CFR. The membership expired while in Congress and I did not renew it. That’s it. There’s nothing more to the story. I hope that helps clear things up!

Thanks again and I’ll check out the links you shared soon!

There shouldn't be ANY cheating or any hint of cheating. We still need to be concerned about it. What about the hijinx in Arizona at the moment? And Pennsylvania being able to count votes with incorrect dates, etc.?

We used to count ballots in one day, but now have machines that take longer? France counts all of their paper ballots in one day, but we can't? Minorities don't have ID's? Just like the vaccines, be open and transparent with the process then all doubts will be erased.

Expand full comment

Yes, quite.

In the UK polls close at 10pm nationwide. Once they close, counting begins. Small constituencies compete to report first, within 1-3 hours the teams of counters can work through the ballots and have them certified. The majority, inc big city constituencies like those in London, report around midnight or 1am. Some results continue trickling in until 5 or 6am, for those constituencies that have a tiny count staff, or had to recount for some reason.

But from a 10pm closing — with ALL paper ballots — by breakfast we know the winners.

There is no excuse to take longer, especially with the help of computers.

I'm just waiting for when Alex, and Bill for that matter, have that moment like Bill Maher had when, after 15 years of pontificating, he realized he knew absolutely nothing about abortion laws in the rest of the world. Imagine when they miraculously figure out that the ONLY reason to use unauditable software and mail in ballots without request/chain of custody is so cheating can be easier. It's going to be hilariously sad, just like Bill's confrontation with his own naivety was regarding how abortion works in the rest of the "liberal" world.

The Republicans will stop talking about election fraud when we stop seeing indicators of voter fraud in blue districts. Today 25% of precincts in blue county, Maricopa County Arizona ,can't get their votes tabulated for various excuses "out of toner," "precinct captain entered password too many times," etc. Machines are down in Mercer County New Jersey.

Election fraud suspicions are exasperated when blue districts drag out vote counting for absolutely no good reason. It does not take days and weeks to "count" votes. It takes days and weeks to manufacture votes and steal elections.

These are real concerns that have to be resolved if trust is to ever be earned.

I have listened to democrats caterwaul about "stolen elections" in every major GOP win for the past 20 years. Almost always for the most stupid reasons, such as vague accusations of "voter intimidation," "hanging chads," "racist" voter ID requirements.

https://simulationcommander.substack.com/p/bidens-extremist-maga-claims-lie

If there were worse images out there from 1/6, we would certainly have seen them (over and over). Yet the media doesn’t seem to be interested in getting to the bottom of 1/6 OR the underlying issue: the 2020 election. And thanks to Alex Berenson and others, we know that the government is in regular communication with giant social and traditional media outlets about the ‘proper’ narrative to follow. I love Alex, but if they are in communications to squash a little fish like him, they are CERTAINLY in communications to squash the most important stories of the day. There’s no doubt that (if we were allowed to see the communications of our public servants) we’d find ‘don’t cover this story’ or ‘ban this guy’ memos surrounding both the coverage of Election 2020 AND the coverage of 1/6 — just like we’re (still) learning about the Hunter laptop story.

Ultimately, Biden’s statement about MAGA Republicans being a unique threat is based on the very dubious (but potentially easily proven, if the footage backs it up) claim that 1/6 was an attempt to overturn a free and fair election. If it was shown (through footage) that 1/6 was nothing close to an ‘insurrection’, the entire narrative would crumble and Americans would see that political violence has been coming from the left for years, as the ‘leaders’ cheer it on for political gain. After all, cities weren’t boarded up on election night in case Biden won.

I was actually in the United States at the time (being an American and all) and watched it get stolen in real-time. I remember saying to my wife, "They are stealing it, they won't get away with it. It's too obvious." All the states that stopped counting showed the Blue Dem vote-count curve do a magic step-function and pull up over the Red GOP curve.. at the same time, in the middle of the night. Absolute, in-your-face, mafia-style muscle job. God help us all if they do it again tonight.

Expand full comment

This is absolutely spot on. I think my husband and I looked at each other on election night ('cause we were here, and we're American's too) and we said almost the exact same thing you said, "They're stealing the election in real time." And we said, they can't get away with this. But they did. When the left riots and kills more than 20 people, and attack Federal buildings and court houses and historic churches, and cause billions of dollars in damage, it's all cool. But when conservatives protest a stolen election, it's an "insurrection". Biden just bragged about the 1/6 investigation being one of the largest FBI enterprises in American history, as though using government security forces to track down, imprison, torture and kill (via "suicide") your political enemies is a thing to be proud of. We are in full-blown 1938 mode.

It's clear from early reports already that there are hijinks afoot. Machines malfunctioning in large numbers... in key battleground states like AZ and PA and NJ. Imagine that!

And 40m mail in ballots, and the White House and corporate media priming the public for the notion that "it could take a week to find out what the result is in some districts"... erm, what?

Reminder to everyone that it's NOT normal to take days and weeks to count votes, until very recently (and in other civilised countries also) you usually know results by midnight, or at worst by breakfast the next day. This whole narrative of "it could take weeks" is blatantly 'spin' to cover up major interference, which is not common in large volumes, actually — this is a not a historical norm for the USA.

Additionally, it's extremely rare for voting machines to malfunction in significant numbers (think about it ...the companies would be sued into oblivion/out of business if this was commonplace), and it's ridiculous for that to be happening in mainly the key swing/contested states, statistically speaking. The machines are not sentient, so if they fail in large numbers they should be failing in large numbers at *random* across all 50 states. If that's not the case, then dark games are afoot.

Expand full comment

Right, Alex, all these voting machines are not working in NewJersey and AZ, they are running out of ballots for in person voting in Pennsylvannia (they know Republicans vote in person), they are suing to illegally count votes that aren't dated (the attorney is the Steele dossier guy). Yeah, we feel really confident they aren't cheating. Nightmare. But I do hope you are right. Thanks for the update.

I wrote the very same thing to a friend yesterday. After this drubbing, if they were smart, they’d forced Biden to resign within days, do what they can to get a charismatic centrist Democrat confirmed as the new vice president, tell Kamala (equally despised as Biden) that she is a figurehead (cooperate or get forced out), and begin running a two-year campaign to position the new centrist vice president as the Dem candidate against Trump or DeSantis in 2024. The big question is: who do the Dems have that meets that definition?? I can’t think of a single one. They have no respectable bench players right now who can step up.

Follow up: Newsom may be what they are thinking. But he’s an empty suit and I think most centrist Americans (and certainly conservatives) would easily see that. And he’s literally a nephew of Pelosi, equally despised as of today.

I don’t know who you are (jk) but from what history tells us… Clinton had to swerve his political automobile straight back into the middle of the road during his day. That was mainly due to government credit factors and bond rates threatening to shoot up. This time is different, but also the same, in that we can all hope that the outliers get scolded and quickly come back to their senses and a more centrist and happier society

Expand full comment

Possibly. I think Biden is unsalvageable at this point. He is too old and probably not competent. He ran as a centrist and abandoned that day one. People won’t be fooled again. (The Dems may have to use the 25th Amendment to get him to leave, and I think it would work.) And, more importantly, the economic situation is much worse this time with rampant inflation (which hits the working class and middle class much harder than the wealthy) and much higher rates than people are used to. I don’t see a pivot like Clinton’s working for Biden.

Expand full comment

We are in agreement here. Clarifying that it is the Democrats as a whole who will need to shift off of the guardrail and onto the road. One detail: When the office of Vice President is open, the new President's nominee must be confirmed by both houses of congress, not just the Senate. Next in line of succession is the GOP Speaker of the House if both jobs go vacant. Then, of course, there'd be enormous temptation to apply the 25th Amendment to President Harris.
