My vanity lets me think I'm good with numbers. I'm not a statistician, but one of my interests is trying to find patterns in the available statistics. It's a fool's errand.
One state or country will have serious outbreak, and the adjacent one - with similar red/blue tendencies - doesn't. Maybe someone smarter than me can see the correlations. I can't. It's maddening.
One thing I'm sure of is that earlier large outbreaks (meaning early 2020) caused early and steep increases in cases and deaths. It has nothing to do with lockdowns, masking, or later, how many are vaccinated. The trends will go through cycles, which I think are related to seasonal temperatures. At some point, the deaths will plateau. How many deaths per million for the plateau can vary depending on a lot of factors (population age, density, general health) - some not so obvious.
I'm rambling a little, but my two main points are:
1) The factors that drive infections and which may help control them are not obvious.
2) The brilliant scientists and statisticians working for the government don't seem to know any more than I do. If they do, they're not sharing the explanations with the public.

I don't remember the exact number but it went something like, all the battery storage in the US, including pumped hydro & compressed air, could power the grid for a couple of minutes if demanded to do so. Here in northern VA, almost every adult I know took the double shots, and according to my kids HS nurse >85% of the teens have taken the 2x shots. Many I know have taken the boosters, some of the boomers were counting down the days! (I've woken some of my closest friends by pointing them here and other places) they are done - not taking any boosters. Everyone I know that had the Coof, was either double or triple jabbed. I know one that died from the coof several hospitalized but recovered - all from one super spreader event (a wedding). Within my extended cohort we have had at least 3 'died suddenly' events - one being a 49 year old women - died in her sleep on trophy wife girls trip to florida. My BFF just finished radiation for an extremely rare form of clustered Hodgkins lymphoma - his super high end GP (annual full body scan) caught it, and thinks it was injury from the J &J but can't say for sure. We are shutting down again, NYE party cancelled, DC requiring vaccine cards, etc. With a little luck the omicron will sweep over us, be mild sickness, and this fiasco will be over.

Just like SARS-COV-1, you can not get COVID twice. This isn't the common cold. You can "test" positive a thousand times, because PCR tests can't identify individual viruses, it only looks for general viral genetic material. "COVID-19" is the symptoms of SARS-COV-2 not the virus, they are different, just like HIV is the virus and AIDS is the symptoms once the immune system has crashed.
Getting back to my original statement if you test individuals that had SARS-CoV-1, which was a pandemic in 2003, those who caught it still have immunity to it today 18 years later, and they are protected against SARS-CoV-2. These same innate immune responses and protections are present in people today that are getting COVID. The people that are getting "vaccinated" are the ones seeing a dip in their innate immune system, and will likely see the possibility of reinfection, which is why governments are force "vaccinating" populations around the world to keep the control measures in place and keeps the population in a constant state of fear. Scared people make stupid decisions, to give up their freedoms and allow the actors "politicians", to control every aspect of your life.

Many of us Californians (I among them) do not believe Newsom won the recall election. I'm a registered democrat who enthusiastically voted to recall him, and I think there were a large number of California democrats who did the same. Massive, shameless vote fraud. The democrats excel in it.

It’s all money! There’s an incentive for each patient who gets Run-death-is-near and another when they go on a ventilator, and more if they die. So it’s a murder pipeline lined with cash for the hospital!
The specific incentive is to identify Covid, use ineffective treatment, put on ventilator, drag it out for the maximum payoff.
And why would hospitals do this? Aside from the money for Covid, the government deliberately curtailed their ability to carry on any other business. It was play the game or go bankrupt. It is a sad state of affairs when bankruptcy would have been more honorable!
My brother died in a hospital in Lexington Kentucky in October after being given remdesivir and the doctors knew he had severe kidney issues. He went in with double pneumonia and Covid they said. He refused being put on a ventilator and one of the doctors literally harassed him about that everyday he was there! He called his wife to come get him and checked himself out. He died 2 days later at home. My sister in law says he was basically murdered since they refused to treat him for the pneumonia in his lungs.

It is tragic what’s STILL going on in hospitals!! I saw a video recently (Sorry I don’t have it at hand) of a respiratory therapist who was saying that the minute someone is Covid positive, they isolate them and use the deadly Covid protocols, instead of doing what they would normally do for pneumonia patients (which usually works). He was incredibly upset that he was prevented from treating them in an appropriate way:( I can only hope in retrospect, there will be accountability for what’s going on and I hope it starts at the top with Fauci:(

I asked if I could get HCQ or aivernectin to have on hand in case I get sick. Absolutely not. She told me she strictly follows FDA and CDC requirements. She did not even know what VAERS was when I asked her about it. She had no idea and she administers shots.

I am not a doctor but I understand risk management and that made 0 sense from a risk management perspective.
Because of that illogical initial response, I haven't trusted much else. The Lancet had to retract an anti-HCQ article after it was found to be bogus. There was obviously an effort to discredit HCQ and those of us with a bit of a suspicious nature believe it was due to the money to be made with new therapies instead of using existing, inexpensive ones.
Dr. Peter Mccullough believes that 85% of the deaths could have been prevented with early treatment. If he is correct, this is murder on a grand scale. I haven't lost anyone close to me yet, but I can't imagine the reaction if I found out that possibly effective treatment was withheld from a loved one. It boggles the mind.

Most (99.9%+) of the younger doctors have been trained to think that the only treatments to use are the ones shown to be effective in large double-blind and controlled studies. When something totally new comes on the scene, that way of thinking is mostly useless since there are no studies from 5 years ago to help chose the right therapy. Older doctors who did not totally buy into that way of thinking have seen the problem and stepped up to the plate to find treatments that are effective and safe. Those same doctors have been leery of the unproven "expert-recommended" mRNA treatments. Ethical physicians have long been worried about vaccines and other products that used aborted human fetal cell cultures in their production (and doubted the ethics of the companies and "scientists" that produced them.) "Best medical judgement" has become a bit political now. Physicians need to revisit the Hippocratic Oath and the spirit behind it. Also " primum non nocere"

You also need to specify what form or kind of evidence you are talkning about. Surveys? Interpretation of data? If so, what data from which sources do you acknowledge as trustworthy?

I presently have one primary care provider and two specialists; my wife has another specialist; my children have multiple primary care providers and specialists. I have immediate family members and many cousins who are both specialists and primary care providers. The notion that any of them would merely be adhering to "stupid federal agency diktats" in ANY of their care, is foreign to me. If there is any evidence that doctors would, in any substantial number, be prescribing HCQ or Ivermectin if not for being blocked from doing so, seems way off.
Now, I'm sure there are some providers who would be inclined to prescribe HCQ or Ivermectin, but does anyone really believe that getting rid of Fauci would have any impact at all on the overall landscape there?

Ivermectin and HCQ has been used without controversy for many years, mainly for parasitical infections in animals and for malaria.
Europe thankfully does not have that much of a problem with parasites compared to Africa where anti-malaria and anti-parasitical treatments in many places are part of everyday life.
However, after Covid hit our equivalents to your FDA and CDC refurses to prescribe Ivermectin or HCQ, refuse to acknowledge research and empirical results (I'm sure you've heard of the highly succesful programme in Uttar Pradesh in India? You can look it up in The Desert Review, they have a series of articles about it), and at least where I'm at, in Sweden, our FDA actually flat out claims HCQ and Ivermectin doesn't work at all, are rare and unknown drugs who are unproven for use on humans, and that they are very dangerous.
Meanwhile, if you get scabies or certain intenstinal parasites you are given medicines which are rebranded Ivermectin. Even kids under 5 are given it if they get scabies. I've written them several times about this, asking the hows and so on but are so far only given rote responses.

Yes, they're being told to provide no early treatment, and then to use Remdesivir and a vent once patient is almost dead. If they want to use Ivermectin, they'll have to go to court to force the hospital/docs to comply.
Two local hospitals here in IL have lost 2 separate court cases where the patient/patient’s family successfully sued to be able to have ivermectin administered. In both cases the patients were gravely ill. Of course there were court delays and nonsense etc but once ivermectin was administered both patients responded and recovered. One of the patients reportedly removed the ventilator himself! Malpractice is rampant these days.

I saw a study that says remdesivir works great when used right at the start of infection. You know, like ivermectin, but $5000 more expensive, and with side effects. Go Big Pharma!
I guess u have not seen the study that was done by Fauci and I believe the NIAH. Remedisivir worked in u see I believe 49% of the patients in the trial they did and caused liver or kidney damage. Sorry I don’t have the study results right at hand and don’t remember the exact % numbers but remdisvir was not a good choice.
I'm aware of the RemDeathIsNear, failed Fauci trials. The side effects are deadly and the usefulness, basically nil. That was in hospital use as I recall. This new study is saying, "Yeah, but if you administer it at the outset of infection, tastes great, lasts a long time."

My doctor was actually willing to prescribe Ivermectin, but I've asked all the local pharms...CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid....none of them will fill the prescription. Both my husband and I have taken IVM in the distant past when we were living in the Middle East. It was safe. You can buy IVM over the counter in a great many countries, but not here. I am FURIOUS that I have to go through a doctor to get it, and FURIOUS that a pharmacy can deny it. I'm angry that I have to jump through all kinds of hoops to actually get this particular drug via mail order or from a foreign country, etc. My grandson got two Pfizer shots in August, and now he has Covid. Fortunately, his girlfriend works for a family owned non-national pharmacy and they GAVE HER some IVM for herself and for my grandson to take. He's getting better fairly quickly now. The damn vaccines didn't work except to make him more vulnerable to Covid if in fact it did anything at all except make Pfizer and its investors richer, and the IVM is working just fine, thank you. The big problem is that IVM is dirt cheap and off patent, and the vaccines and upcoming very expensive new pills are not cheap.

California is kind of interesting. Newsom's dictates are the rule in LA, SF and various coastal areas. He doesn't really reach the more conservative Northern CA areas, and people have largely ignored him. In my area, at the worst of the lockdowns several restaurants refused to close. We were eating in restaurants all during 2020 and the worst of it because we wanted to support these small businesses. The local government tried to shut them down, they levied some hefty fines on the business owners, but the businesses fought back and sued the local government, which then backed down. The many restaurants here set up outdoor dining for those who wanted that, but eating inside has always been an option. A neighboring country also fought back, and in that county even Whole Foods and Costco permit you to enter maskless. Yet if you go over the county line into the next county (Sacramento County, seat of CA government) it's crazy town. Then there are some other foothills/mountain counties where people ignored the whole think and no one ever put on a face diaper, and the CA militia never came to shut anyone down. So on a local level, it's possible to fight back and essentially win.

Me and my family had a very merry Omicron COVID Christmas. Out nine at the family gathering five came down with COVID with another possible and all were vaccinated . Myself am 76 and wife 74 brought home the virus last month we were fine . The vaccines don't work I had the booster and still got it . We are all doing fine no different then the flu the fear needs to stop .
I'm 72 and hubby is 75. We've been out and about, eating in restaurants, going to our gym (which stayed open) the whole time during 2020 and 2021. Still no Covid for us, but then, we have never gotten the flu for a long time , either. No shots for us! Everyone we know of who got the shots later got Covid or something worse. And our nurse daughter had Covid a year ago, but hasn't caught it again so she's good. Our grandson is the only one who got shots (he had to for his job, and he succumbed to it), and now he's got Covid 4 months after the shots. But good news for him....he's got Ivermectin and he's recovering quickly.

Geez - you are amazing! I’m 63 and pretty miserable right now. Worst headache ever, nausea, aches, and exhausted. I’m healthy and rarely sick. After two tries, tested positive on home test so started my teledoc protocol. Headache and nausea improving quickly. People keep saying it’s just a cold but worse one I’VE ever had! Still not worth mandates, lockdowns, jabs. My wish was to catch omicron and develop antibodies and it’s come true. But I’m in denial thinking this will account for something in California.

I retested on a home test today and positive. I guess I wondered if I maybe had some other sort of flu and wanted to make sure. For sure. It’s easier if you have someone to discuss with. We also really did not have respiratory issues. A slight cough, less than other winter colds. Lots of GI issues, nausea, diarrhea, loss of appetite, fever, joint pains (first 3-5days), total loss of smell and many days of a metallic taste in our mouths. No way it’s a slight omnicrom, I guess it’s Delta+. (The high school kids were complaining of stomach aches too.) Yes the exhaustion is extreme - probably logged 20 hrs of sleep on several days. This is consistent with a friend who got it prevaccines last year, and another this year in August in the UK (not vaxxed). 14 days seems to be the magic number to feeling better. I am over it with just remains of some GI discomfort and no smell still, but my husband is still getting fevers, which is concerning on day 12. I started him on a zpack today as some end up with bacterial pneumonia. He is off ivermectin for now at least, not sure it was doing anything. But he has regained his appetite which is a good sign.

My vanity lets me think I'm good with numbers. I'm not a statistician, but one of my interests is trying to find patterns in the available statistics. It's a fool's errand.
One state or country will have serious outbreak, and the adjacent one - with similar red/blue tendencies - doesn't. Maybe someone smarter than me can see the correlations. I can't. It's maddening.
One thing I'm sure of is that earlier large outbreaks (meaning early 2020) caused early and steep increases in cases and deaths. It has nothing to do with lockdowns, masking, or later, how many are vaccinated. The trends will go through cycles, which I think are related to seasonal temperatures. At some point, the deaths will plateau. How many deaths per million for the plateau can vary depending on a lot of factors (population age, density, general health) - some not so obvious.
I'm rambling a little, but my two main points are:
1) The factors that drive infections and which may help control them are not obvious.
2) The brilliant scientists and statisticians working for the government don't seem to know any more than I do. If they do, they're not sharing the explanations with the public.

My BFF just finished radiation for an extremely rare form of clustered Hodgkins lymphoma - his super high end GP (annual full body scan) caught it, and thinks it was injury from the J &J but can't say for sure. We are shutting down again, NYE party cancelled, DC requiring vaccine cards, etc. With a little luck the omicron will sweep over us, be mild sickness, and this fiasco will be over.

Just like SARS-COV-1, you can not get COVID twice. This isn't the common cold. You can "test" positive a thousand times, because PCR tests can't identify individual viruses, it only looks for general viral genetic material. "COVID-19" is the symptoms of SARS-COV-2 not the virus, they are different, just like HIV is the virus and AIDS is the symptoms once the immune system has crashed.
Getting back to my original statement if you test individuals that had SARS-CoV-1, which was a pandemic in 2003, those who caught it still have immunity to it today 18 years later, and they are protected against SARS-CoV-2. These same innate immune responses and protections are present in people today that are getting COVID. The people that are getting "vaccinated" are the ones seeing a dip in their innate immune system, and will likely see the possibility of reinfection, which is why governments are force "vaccinating" populations around the world to keep the control measures in place and keeps the population in a constant state of fear. My brother died in a hospital in Lexington Kentucky in October after being given remdesivir and the doctors knew he had severe kidney issues. He went in with double pneumonia and Covid they said. He refused being put on a ventilator and one of the doctors literally harassed him about that everyday he was there! He called his wife to come get him and checked himself out. He died 2 days later at home. My sister in law says he was basically murdered since they refused to treat him for the pneumonia in his lungs.

I saw a video recently (Sorry I don’t have it at hand) of a respiratory therapist who was saying that the minute someone is Covid positive, they isolate them and use the deadly Covid protocols, instead of doing what they would normally do for pneumonia patients (which usually works). He was incredibly upset that he was prevented from treating them in an appropriate way:( I can only hope in retrospect, there will be accountability for what’s going on and I hope it starts at the top with Fauci:(

She did not even know what VAERS was when I asked her about it. She had no idea and she administers shots.

I personally became very skeptical about what was happening when we had no treatments at all in early 2020 but some doctors who actually treated COVID patients came out publicly and said they were having success with an HCQ (shown to have efficacy with SARS COV-1) and Zpack combination. These are inexpensive drugs with well known safety profiles but they were actively suppressed. It made absolutely no sense because they basically couldn't hurt (because the contraindications
were well known) and may help keep people out of the hospitals. This was a novel pandemic so there was no time for double blind studies yet. Only upside and no downside yet it was vilified in the press, the AMA and pretty much every official organization. I am not a doctor but I understand risk management and that made 0 sense from a risk management perspective.
Because of that illogical initial response, I haven't trusted much else. The Lancet had to retract an anti-HCQ article after it was found to be bogus. There was obviously an effort to discredit HCQ and those of us with a bit of a suspicious nature believe it was due to the money to be made with new therapies instead of using existing, inexpensive ones.
Dr. Peter Mccullough believes that 85% of the deaths could have been prevented with early treatment. If he is correct, this is murder on a grand scale. I haven't lost anyone close to me yet, but I can't imagine the reaction if I found out that possibly effective treatment was withheld from a loved one. It boggles the mind.

Most (99.9%+) of the younger doctors have been trained to think that the only treatments to use are the ones shown to be effective in large double-blind and controlled studies. When something totally new comes on the scene, that way of thinking is mostly useless since there are no studies from 5 years ago to help chose the right therapy. Older doctors who did not totally buy into that way of thinking have seen the problem and stepped up to the plate to find treatments that are effective and safe. Those same doctors have been leery of the unproven "expert-recommended" mRNA treatments. Ethical physicians have long been worried about vaccines and other products that used aborted human fetal cell cultures in their production (and doubted the ethics of the companies and "scientists" that produced them.) "Best medical judgement" has become a bit political now. Physicians need to revisit the Hippocratic Oath and the spirit behind it. Also " primum non nocere"

You also need to specify what form or kind of evidence you are talkning about. Surveys? Interpretation of data? If so, what data from which sources do you acknowledge as trustworthy?
And as I'm sure you know, no one can prove that something isn't happening. You can only prove (or rather: show) what is actually happening.
Are medical doctors prescribing Ivermectin as a treatment for Covid? Are medical doctors telling patients they cannot get Ivermectin-treatment? To what degree are the answers to these questions true and representative of the whole collective of medical doctors in the US?

I presently have one primary care provider and two specialists; my wife has another specialist; my children have multiple primary care providers and specialists. I have immediate family members and many cousins who are both specialists and primary care providers. The notion that any of them would merely be adhering to "stupid federal agency diktats" in ANY of their care, is foreign to me. If there is any evidence that doctors would, in any substantial number, be prescribing HCQ or Ivermectin if not for being blocked from doing so, seems way off.
Now, I'm sure there are some providers who would be inclined to prescribe HCQ or Ivermectin, but does anyone really believe that getting rid of Fauci would have any impact at all on the overall landscape there?
And, while it is true that I can't prove a negative, it's also true that the USA is only one country in the world. If the premise of the OP's position is true, then the USA should be a global outlier wrt those treatments... and so far as I can determine, it's not.

Ivermectin and HCQ has been used without controversy for many years, mainly for parasitical infections in animals and for malaria.
Europe thankfully does not have that much of a problem with parasites compared to Africa where anti-malaria and anti-parasitical treatments in many places are part of everyday life.
However, after Covid hit our equivalents to your FDA and CDC refurses to prescribe Ivermectin or HCQ, refuse to acknowledge research and empirical results (I'm sure you've heard of the highly succesful programme in Uttar Pradesh in India? You can look it up in The Desert Review, they have a series of articles about it), and at least where I'm at, in Sweden, our FDA actually flat out claims HCQ and Ivermectin doesn't work at all, are rare and unknown drugs who are unproven for use on humans, and that they are very dangerous.
Meanwhile, if you get scabies or certain intenstinal parasites you are given medicines which are rebranded Ivermectin. Even kids under 5 are given it if they get scabies. I've written them several times about this, asking the hows and so on but are so far only given rote responses.
(Which by the way is in violation of constitutional law over here - any and all decisions and decision-making processes are public information and must be immediately provided upon request, the only real exceptions being personal information of medical nature and state security. But the agencies in question will not even acknowledge the existence of the requests I and others have made.)

Two local hospitals here in IL have lost 2 separate court cases where the patient/patient’s family successfully sued to be able to have ivermectin administered. In both cases the patients were gravely ill. Of course there were court delays and nonsense etc but once ivermectin was administered both patients responded and recovered. One of the patients reportedly removed the ventilator himself! Malpractice is rampant these days.

My actual opinion is that it's slightly more nuanced than that.
I saw a study that says remdesivir works great when used right at the start of infection. You know, like ivermectin, but $5000 more expensive, and with side effects. Go Big Pharma!
I guess u have not seen the study that was done by Fauci and I believe the NIAH. Remedisivir worked in u see I believe 49% of the patients in the trial they did and caused liver or kidney damage. Sorry I don’t have the study results right at hand and don’t remember the exact % numbers but remdisvir was not a good choice.
I'm aware of the RemDeathIsNear, failed Fauci trials. The side effects are deadly and the usefulness, basically nil. That was in hospital use as I recall. This new study is saying, "Yeah, but if you administer it at the outset of infection, tastes great, lasts a long time."

My doctor was actually willing to prescribe Ivermectin, but I've asked all the local pharms...CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid....none of them will fill the prescription. Both my husband and I have taken IVM in the distant past when we were living in the Middle East. It was safe. You can buy IVM over the counter in a great many countries, but not here. I am FURIOUS that I have to go through a doctor to get it, and FURIOUS that a pharmacy can deny it. I'm angry that I have to jump through all kinds of hoops to actually get this particular drug via mail order or from a foreign country, etc. My grandson got two Pfizer shots in August, and now he has Covid. Fortunately, his girlfriend works for a family owned non-national pharmacy and they GAVE HER some IVM for herself and for my grandson to take. He's getting better fairly quickly now. The damn vaccines didn't work except to make him more vulnerable to Covid if in fact it did anything at all except make Pfizer and its investors richer, and the IVM is working just fine, thank you. The big problem is that IVM is dirt cheap and off patent, and the vaccines and upcoming very expensive new pills are not cheap.

California is kind of interesting. Newsom's dictates are the rule in LA, SF and various coastal areas. He doesn't really reach the more conservative Northern CA areas, and people have largely ignored him. In my area, at the worst of the lockdowns several restaurants refused to close. We were eating in restaurants all during 2020 and the worst of it because we wanted to support these small businesses. The local government tried to shut them down, they levied some hefty fines on the business owners, but the businesses fought back and sued the local government, which then backed down. The many restaurants here set up outdoor dining for those who wanted that, but eating inside has always been an option. A neighboring country also fought back, and in that county even Whole Foods and Costco permit you to enter maskless. Yet if you go over the county line into the next county (Sacramento County, seat of CA government) it's crazy town. Then there are some other foothills/mountain counties where people ignored the whole think and no one ever put on a face diaper, and the CA militia never came to shut anyone down. So on a local level, it's possible to fight back and essentially win.

Me and my family had a very merry Omicron COVID Christmas. Out nine at the family gathering five came down with COVID with another possible and all were vaccinated . Myself am 76 and wife 74 brought home the virus last month we were fine . The vaccines don't work I had the booster and still got it . We are all doing fine no different then the flu the fear needs to stop .

I'm 72 and hubby is 75. We've been out and about, eating in restaurants, going to our gym (which stayed open) the whole time during 2020 and 2021. Still no Covid for us, but then, we have never gotten the flu for a long time , either. No shots for us! Everyone we know of who got the shots later got Covid or something worse. And our nurse daughter had Covid a year ago, but hasn't caught it again so she's good. Our grandson is the only one who got shots (he had to for his job, and he succumbed to it), and now he's got Covid 4 months after the shots. But good news for him....he's got Ivermectin and he's recovering quickly.

I’m 103 years old and got covid last week. I had a cough and sniffles for about a day.
Geez - you are amazing! I’m 63 and pretty miserable right now. Worst headache ever, nausea, aches, and exhausted. I’m healthy and rarely sick. After two tries, tested positive on home test so started my teledoc protocol. Headache and nausea improving quickly. People keep saying it’s just a cold but worse one I’VE ever had! Still not worth mandates, lockdowns, jabs. My wish was to catch omicron and develop antibodies and it’s come true. But I’m in denial thinking this will account for something in California.

I’m sorry for your suffering. It took me 14 full days to get over it and I still have lingering GI issues but thankfully the exhaustion seems over. Husband is a few days behind me. We started the protocol early and I’m not sure if it helped. I felt pretty good on day 3, but by day 5 it got worse. I hear it ebbs and flows like that. Stay hydrated.

It’s becoming unsettling for me to continually read descriptions of sniffles, quick and easy or no symptoms at all. That’s not me! This is not following the course of a normal flu/cold. Did you find the fatigue overwhelming? Do you also think you had omicron? No way to know but I’m assuming because I had no respiratory symptoms. Same with you and your husband? I retested on a home test today and positive. I guess I wondered if I maybe had some other sort of flu and wanted to make sure. So definitely COVID but my experience doesn’t match the description of easy symptoms I keep reading about. It’s a weird one. I hope this finds you two much improved - with restored energy!
For sure. It’s easier if you have someone to discuss with. We also really did not have respiratory issues. A slight cough, less than other winter colds. Lots of GI issues, nausea, diarrhea, loss of appetite, fever, joint pains (first 3-5days), total loss of smell and many days of a metallic taste in our mouths. No way it’s a slight omnicrom, I guess it’s Delta+. (The high school kids were complaining of stomach aches too.) Yes the exhaustion is extreme - probably logged 20 hrs of sleep on several days. This is consistent with a friend who got it prevaccines last year, and another this year in August in the UK (not vaxxed). 14 days seems to be the magic number to feeling better. I am over it with just remains of some GI discomfort and no smell still, but my husband is still getting fevers, which is concerning on day 12. I started him on a zpack today as some end up with bacterial pneumonia. He is off ivermectin for now at least, not sure it was doing anything. But he has regained his appetite which is a good sign.
