If tests never existed, there would be no such thing as the large case numbers they flaunt. They never talked about covid deaths, it was case counts. We have no idea if those numbers are true or not, or if the tests work the way they should. I've heard. To-date, I have been tested only once prior to a medical procedure. Otherwise, I will only take a test if I get sick so that I can get an early diagnosis and early treatment. I'll only take a home test, even though I don't have much faith in them. And I definitely won't take another PCR test unless it is required for medical care. That's it.
And I think early treatment (at least effective treatment) is becoming harder to find (at least in US). With Biden pulling monoclonal antibodies we are not left with much else. So sad and unnecessary.

I'm fine if they recognize natural immunity because those individuals don't get reinfected, but I'm not fine to be tested if the vaccinated without prior immunity aren't tested as well. Yep, that is annoying. I haven't been in this situation, but even if I had prior immunity or were vaccinated, I still couldn't take advantage of any privileges that my fellow unvaccinated Americans couldn't also access. It would make me sick to my stomach. If every American would take a stand against these mandates, they would end.

What I think is true is that previously infected but unvaxxed people don't carry the same viral load when reinfected as people who were merely vaxxed.
Getting original Covid and then a variant of it is much different than getting the original Covid twice. I have not heard of anyone who have had the whole loss of taste/smell twice.

I've heard. To-date, I have been tested only once prior to a medical procedure. Otherwise, I will only take a test if I get sick so that I can get an early diagnosis and early treatment. I'll only take a home test, even though I don't have much faith in them. And I definitely won't take another PCR test unless it is required for medical care. That's it.
And I think early treatment (at least effective treatment) is becoming harder to find (at least in US). With Biden pulling monoclonal antibodies we are not left with much else. So sad and unnecessary.
Those monoclonal antibodies don't work against Omicron. The GSK monoclonals are the only monoclonals indicated to work against Omicron. Start with taking Vitamin D, exercise, eat right, get enough sleep and gargle with the McCullough protocol to clear your oral cavities of any virus. At least that is my starting point.

Well, of course the answer is no. We used to play a game during the 1st year of this madness on "Guess the date of the mask mandate" for different states. It almost always was just after the seasonality peak, so our "betters" in government could claim victory. There was always an outlier that did their mask mandates really early - California ? - that made their mandate during their seasonal valley which made it look like the mask mandate caused the late summer spike. Lol.

Even in places like Chicago that implemented vax passes, hospitalizations peaked at the same time as the rest of the state, which had no vax passes. Los Angeles won’t ever drop these things and I can see permanent masking being “the new normal.” There is a constant 30% in California that want Covid restrictions to be permanent. I’ve encountered too many people “scared to death” of omicron (!!!). The upside is there are pockets of resistance in SoCal but with a lot of critical thinkers leaving the state there isn’t enough resistance to end this insanity.
These people embrace the concept of "long Covid" with relief. Any Covid case may haunt you for your entire life! Now they can be afraid for good, and have enemies to have forever.

I am amazed by this near religious belief in masks and other restrictions. Actually, its not 'near' religious - It IS religious.
The circuits of the brain in play here are probably the same age old religious circuits - but for most blue checks were sitting unused - and therefore were activated by the rona.
The only time I have seen data and facts refuted so passionately is when people are defending their religious beliefs. So that's what's happening here.
I think majority of obnoxious blue checks suffer from mental illness. That is what is driving their social activism against everything and everyone that they disagree with. They are entrenched in their psychosis. Blue city mental illness is rampant. That’s why these cities are just crumbling from within. Testing is the smoking gun. They need to get rid of all testing to return to normal.
