I was dumb enough to get the J&J jab in April, after Joe said I could ditch the mask and get back to normal. There's no chance that I will get a booster though. Consider me un-vaxxed.
My job is about to implement the mandate. I’m a blue collar union worker that works for a huge company. The union sat with company to negotiate not to force the jab, the company wouldn’t budge. Now it appears my 22 year career will go up in flames if I don’t take the jab. I’ve pretty much decided I will not partake in this madness. I hope more are willing to do the same. Same here, got the vax because I have to travel and wanted to stop having to pay for the pcr test at $179 and now back to the stupid pcr, so no way am I getting anymore vaccines.
The gist of the article is that the vaxes were created with an extraordinarily high dose which gave the recipient VERY high titers which are documented to "die off" in about 6 months (~40% decay rate). This implies that there is no B-Cell training so your body won't be making any more synthetic antibodies and thus you can "get out of covid jail".
The other interesting implication is why did they set the dose so high to get titers that are almost 10X that of a person would recovered with natural immunity? Was it due to the fact that had they set the dose to yield a "more normal" titer , would the shots have lasted more than 30-60 days? Time will (may) tell.
My mom got moderna vax in March, yesterday she went and got antibodies tested and barely showing anything. She was pissed. My husband and I had the Vid in April and we have not got the shot, he went and tested for antibodies a couple of weeks ago after he heard that he would be fired if he didn’t get shot by October 1. Here's the study out of Japan on Pfizer basically showing the same thing, which is the antibodies "peter out" at 198 days. The challenge is getting them to understand the risks of a booster vs. the protection that is based on the same original formula that seems to be evaded by the different mutations.

Atlantic magazine, which is certainly not considered "misinformation" by the ghouls, now saying half of "Covid hospitalizations" were not in the hospital for Covid. Now that's just the straight half of the cases in patients with like hip fractures and depression that happened to test positive. The real number is way more than half, that's because in all the gray-area cases where someone is in hospital for ANY cardio-respiratory symptoms, if the test is positive, the diagnosis is Covid - Period! regardless of perhaps a history of asthma, heart disease or COPD. This same outright fraud happens in counting the deaths too.
Since the number of "Covid hospitalizations" is what is predominantly used to push for the forced mandates, one can see how significant the Atlantic report really is.

I am glad I've been following Alex as well as getting additional information from others here.
I suspect the lipid encapsulated mRNA carrying the instructions for the spike protein sometimes leaks out before getting into cells causing some RT-PCR tests to test positive for Covid-19 virus. We know the PCR test only detects bits and pieces of RNA so maybe it is detecting the vaccine delivered RNA too. Can't prove it, But I have to suspect it's possible.
Just read the piece, that's not what it says. It says, "This increase was even bigger for vaccinated hospital patients, of whom 57 percent had mild or asymptomatic disease." They aren't saying 57% of patients were vaccinated, but rather that 57% of the vaccinated patients had mild or asymptomatic presentation."
It still refers to the rate of mild or less cases among vaccinated+hospitalized patients, not the amount or percentage of vaccinated compared to overall
The study accessed VA records to look at all hospitalizations that occurred within 14 days of a positive test. So, patients who didn't have a "severe case" (Oxygen below 94%) could either be there for something else or just there out of caution and vaccinated patients who do have a "severe case" could actually be there for an adverse event that just leads to the same output. It's a worthless study.
The other study mentioned in the Atlantic is about children and I don't know why it was included in the article.
This is probably because vaccinated people tend to be older and have more risk factors. It's not that the vaccine is causing them to have worse symptoms, they were always predestined for that. It's that the vaccine is failing them.
That is so terrible. I am so sorry you have to watch this happening to loved ones. I follow two stories of vaccine injured women on social media. Both are young-ish (30’s or 40’s) and the doctors have no idea how to help them. All they do is seek out new specialists, hoping that one will know what to do and hoping that they will admit it’s vaccine injury. It’s a nightmare for both of them. I imagine it would be even harder for an elderly person.

Since the pandemic began, a significant proportion of the COVID "hospitalizations" were women who came in to give birth and threw up a positive PCR test with NO symptoms. A lot of patients also came in for other reasons and contracted COVID in the hospital. What a joke.
I couldn't believe my eyes with this Atlantic piece. They have been slowly drifting back toward Team Reality, and it's unclear why. Just a few months ago, that article would have been (and likely still is by many) considered misinformation worthy of censorship.
Also, the whole premise of the article is something that has stuck in my craw since the beginning: all the scare graphs never defined terms. I could never find a reliably consistent definition for "hospitalization" on these graphs.
I suspected I knew why, but this study highlighted by the Atlantic basically confirms it: if they were ever clear on what it actually meant, they wouldn't be able to flood peoples' consciousnesses with images of deathly ill covid patients breaking down the doors to get into the hospital.
I'm actually more afraid for older people who get the shots, even with COPD. The initiation of shots in British nursing homes was followed by a measurable uptick in deaths. I think we'll see the risk of injury and death are greater for the over 65 from the shots than from covid. I'm talking about absolute risk.

Yes - the whole idea, as I used to understand vaccines, was that we wanted herd immunity to protect the people who could not get vaccinated. So a measles outbreak, for instance, could never get going and impact newborns. But "Protect the Vaccinated" is a whole new level of Owellian Asshattery.
But if it works, I don't care about the herd. If my vax works, and others succumb to their choice, that leaves more stuff for me. "Herd" immunity is a call for socialism.
Except it's all wrong. The measles vaccine didn't work and there isn't any kind of immunity to it.
It's all about how we evaluate the vaccines.
With every other disease we vaccinate for, doctors are the sole gatekeepers of the data. They and only they decide if you get tested for it. And, chances are, they won't let you get tested for it if you've had the vaccine. So the vaccines, despite being completely useless, appear to work.
For covid this gatekeeping role of doctors is significantly reduced (they have it when you're in hospital for something else but that's about it).
So if patients can choose to get tested (which is pretty much the case for covid) then, unless pathologists interpret results differently for the vaxed vs the unvaxed (some no doubt do, but not universally) then not only will the vaccine not work (which was assured from the outset) but, unlike other vaccines, it won't even *appear* to work.
You don't have to believe me. Check total paralysis rates since the polio vaccine. Or total rates of sterility since the mumps vaccine, or total rates of congenital defects since the rubella vaccine. Liver cancer rates since the Hep B vaccine. If the vaccines had truly worked, then all those rates would have plummeted. But in each case the rates have not plummeted. Indeed, they've risen.
The vaccines are all worthless. All of them. Doctors simply call the diseases something else. Measles is called things like roseola, 5th disease, HFM etc. The Covid vaccines are worthless too but they also appear to be. It doesn't matter how many boosters people get, unless doctors get their gatekeeping role back (or pathologists simply refuse to interpret any vaxed tests as positive) then there is no way for the data to improve. All pro-vaxers can do is grasp at straws.
By the way, if measles (and other rashes) are caused by a virus, why are rashes typically focused? Do the viruses know which parts of our body correspond with the others?
Measles killed 200,000 last year, despite almost universal vaccination. CDC has announced a risk of renewed outbreaks here due to suddenly importing hoardes of unvaccinated foreigners. So it's potentially deadly, and vaccines are very effective and safe. Most have low risk of serious illness without the vaccine and low risk from the vaccine. Vaccinating your kids is the rational choice.
Doctors aren't sole gatekeepers of vax data. It's collected, stored and published in a variety of locations. Distributed information reduces opportunities for fraud. Competent observers reduce opportunities for being misled.
They r definitely putting a pressure campaign out with commercials with people crying saying i wish i would have gotten the vaccine. A dr from cali said you have a one in a million chance of getting hurt by the vaccine. he suggests getting it. He said Israel is mostly vaccinated so of course more will be vaxxed in the hosp. but they r not dying. how do we know what to believe. do you know if the vaxxed r dying in israel. its all so confusing.
The simple fact is that these treatments have not performed to the initial expectations, whether it be duration of immunity, breadth of immunity, or safety. The virus has evolved around the therapy provided immunity and will continue to do so. We're one or two mutations away from complete escape, or God forbid, antibody dependent enhancement.
So why? Why would any right thinking person continue down this road?
For the bureaucrats and politicians, it's quite simple. They want to remove the control group. If everyone is vaccinated, it becomes much more difficult to evaluate why and how badly the therapies failed. An admission of failure is not tolerable for these people. They're venal, they're petty, and they will sacrifice you to save their own hides. What may have started out well-intentioned almost immediately transformed into an act of their own self-preservation.
Accountability is anathema to them. It's why they hate Florida and Texas, the existence of which illustrates their mistakes. They'd much prefer a system where we were all equally ill instead of a system that evaluates them on their performance.
The problem is expectations, not vaccines. Several generations indoctrinated to expect safe spaces, panic with any situation less than 100% safe and effective. They also didn't learn math or critical thinking. Our biggest pandemic is ignorance. The prescribed cure is tyranny.

Instead, what they got is hundreds of thousands of replies about vaccine death and injury. A rap singer said her cousin's friend's testicles fell off and his fiance left him, after the vax. A lot of the popular discourse is highly emotional, and mostly unreliable.
What's your point? Whether Nicki Minaj's story is true doesn't change the fact that thousands of people are reporting severe health injuries. Try looking at that Facebook thread and see for yourself. I'll take the reliability of their anectodal evidence over the assurances and mandates of government officials.
Who's panicked? I performed my risk/benefit analysis a while back, and decided that I like my 99.8% chances of surviving China's attempt to kill us all versus injecting an untested gene therapy with an unknown safety profile and unknown long-term adverse effects. Nothing I've seen since then has moved the needle in favor of the gene therapy. In fact, quite the opposite. The hard sell on the snake oil isn't reassuring in the least. I'm a hard "no" on this scam and will remain that way.

VAERS has several dozen reports of testicle swelling as a side effect. And the nano-particles in the jab have been shown to concentrate in reproductive tissue. And FWIW Minaj said it was swollen testicles and impotence.
The doctors who pressured a friend into getting a shot after she'd beatena bad case of covid had no interest or explanation when six days after the shot she developed symptoms suggestive of GBS. I think side effects are grossly underreported.

Several dozen reports out of billions of shots probably isn't a significant concern. It does sound pretty scary, though. But there are a lot more cases of swelling unrelated to the vax, so there are probably chance correlations with the vax without true causation. Rappers probably wouldn't be our first choice for medical diagnoses.
We have also heard of rna from the vax accumulating in ovaries and heart tissue, which generates the spike protein in those tissues, which then become damaged by the immune response. The objective is for the proteins to appear in the muscle tissue at the injection site, which is designed to regenerate when the immune response damages those cells. Damage to other cells doesn't regenerate like muscle.
She reported his testicles were swollen as a result of the jab. Since then I have seen numerous posts from men detailing how this happened to them. Seems to be mainly younger men. It took her saying this for them to admit it happened to them, probably something many would be shy about, and medical treatment is proving inadequate.
That's just beautiful. Except that real people got hurt and killed. I lost an uncle to leukemia and pancreatic cancer he had no signs of. Another guy I know of died of leukemia not very long after the shot. My uncle had been vaccinated. Another uncle suffered a stroke, after vaccination. And I can name others close to me injured by the vaccine.
We had a young parent in our small school community die suddenly. Who knows why, but we are in a very heavily vaxxed area. Any sudden death in someone under 50 I automatically suspect the jab now.

LOL - So the New York Times used the "one in 5000" headline the other day. Trying to insinuate that a vaccinated person's chances of catching Covid are 1 in 5,000. As Alex pointed out the other day, they are using DAILY risk numbers. So that "1 in 5,000" isn't "ever" or "per year", its literally your risk of catching COVID on any given DAY. And that's if you believe their numbers, and ignore the fact that the vaccines lose effectiveness over time. But if we give them the benefit of the doubt and use their 1 in 5000 (per day) bullshit, what does that translate to over the course of a year? Well, barring a leap year, there are 365 days in a year. So 365/5,000 = 7.3% (approximately). That 7.3% number is right in line with Pfizer's annual breakthrough infection risk number.
So could the "pro-medical experimentation" troll crowd that frequents this board try to defend the New York Time's decision to portray a 7.3% annual rate as a 0.02% daily rate? Do mortgage companies advertise their DAILY interest rates on home loans? Does the CDC publish your DAILY risk of catching HIV?

They get to the 1 in 500 have died from Covid by taking the total number of people who have died in the US with a positive test and dividing by the total population of 320 million. But that's over 19 months, not a year. Over that same time period, 7 in 500 people have died from all causes (including covid).
That's also a crude number. It tells you nothing given the massive differences in risk factors across ages. For school age children, that number is closer to 1 in every 500,000 dying from covid. Closer to 1 in 1,000,000 if you look at it over a 12 month period. But for people over 90 it's probably even higher than 1 in 100.

I have done the math, and would like some one to confirm it. The chance of a heart issue from the recent study from California was 162 per million. You take the chance of the event not happening, and raise it to the number of events. In this case .999838 to the power of 5. The chance of the event NOT happening is .9992. The chance of the event happening is what is left over .0008. That’s 8/10000. Now do a 12 year old who takes the first two plus one every six months. 7 shots. 1/1000. Check my math.

My job is about to implement the mandate. I’m a blue collar union worker that works for a huge company. The union sat with company to negotiate not to force the jab, the company wouldn’t budge. Now it appears my 22 year career will go up in flames if I don’t take the jab. I’ve pretty much decided I will not partake in this madness. I hope more are willing to do the same. We’re living in dark times.

The gist of the article is that the vaxes were created with an extraordinarily high dose which gave the recipient VERY high titers which are documented to "die off" in about 6 months (~40% decay rate). This implies that there is no B-Cell training so your body won't be making any more synthetic antibodies and thus you can "get out of covid jail".
The other interesting implication is why did they set the dose so high to get titers that are almost 10X that of a person would recovered with natural immunity? Was it due to the fact that had they set the dose to yield a "more normal" titer , would the shots have lasted more than 30-60 days? Time will (may) tell.
My mom got moderna vax in March, yesterday she went and got antibodies tested and barely showing anything. She was pissed. My husband and I had the Vid in April and we have not got the shot, he went and tested for antibodies a couple of weeks ago after he heard that he would be fired if he didn’t get shot by October 1. The challenge is getting them to understand the risks of a booster vs. the protection that is based on the same original formula that seems to be evaded by the different mutations.

Atlantic magazine, which is certainly not considered "misinformation" by the ghouls, now saying half of "Covid hospitalizations" were not in the hospital for Covid. Now that's just the straight half of the cases in patients with like hip fractures and depression that happened to test positive. The real number is way more than half, that's because in all the gray-area cases where someone is in hospital for ANY cardio-respiratory symptoms, if the test is positive, the diagnosis is Covid - Period! regardless of perhaps a history of asthma, heart disease or COPD. This same outright fraud happens in counting the deaths too.
Since the number of "Covid hospitalizations" is what is predominantly used to push for the forced mandates, one can see how significant the Atlantic report really is.

I am glad I've been following Alex as well as getting additional information from others here.
I suspect the lipid encapsulated mRNA carrying the instructions for the spike protein sometimes leaks out before getting into cells causing some RT-PCR tests to test positive for Covid-19 virus. We know the PCR test only detects bits and pieces of RNA so maybe it is detecting the vaccine delivered RNA too. Can't prove it, But I have to suspect it's possible.

Just read the piece, that's not what it says. It says, "This increase was even bigger for vaccinated hospital patients, of whom 57 percent had mild or asymptomatic disease." They aren't saying 57% of patients were vaccinated, but rather that 57% of the vaccinated patients had mild or asymptomatic presentation."
The key phrase is..."This increase was even bigger for vaccinated hospital patients!!"
It still refers to the rate of mild or less cases among vaccinated+hospitalized patients, not the amount or percentage of vaccinated compared to overall
The study accessed VA records to look at all hospitalizations that occurred within 14 days of a positive test. So, patients who didn't have a "severe case" (Oxygen below 94%) could either be there for something else or just there out of caution and vaccinated patients who do have a "severe case" could actually be there for an adverse event that just leads to the same output. It's a worthless study.
The other study mentioned in the Atlantic is about children and I don't know why it was included in the article.
But if they're mild or asymptomatic presentation what are they doing in the hospital??
This is probably because vaccinated people tend to be older and have more risk factors. It's not that the vaccine is causing them to have worse symptoms, they were always predestined for that. It's that the vaccine is failing them.
That is so terrible. I am so sorry you have to watch this happening to loved ones. I follow two stories of vaccine injured women on social media. Both are young-ish (30’s or 40’s) and the doctors have no idea how to help them. All they do is seek out new specialists, hoping that one will know what to do and hoping that they will admit it’s vaccine injury. It’s a nightmare for both of them. I imagine it would be even harder for an elderly person.

Since the pandemic began, a significant proportion of the COVID "hospitalizations" were women who came in to give birth and threw up a positive PCR test with NO symptoms. A lot of patients also came in for other reasons and contracted COVID in the hospital. What a joke.

I couldn't believe my eyes with this Atlantic piece. They have been slowly drifting back toward Team Reality, and it's unclear why. Just a few months ago, that article would have been (and likely still is by many) considered misinformation worthy of censorship.
Also, the whole premise of the article is something that has stuck in my craw since the beginning: all the scare graphs never defined terms. I could never find a reliably consistent definition for "hospitalization" on these graphs.
I suspected I knew why, but this study highlighted by the Atlantic basically confirms it: if they were ever clear on what it actually meant, they wouldn't be able to flood peoples' consciousnesses with images of deathly ill covid patients breaking down the doors to get into the hospital.

I'm actually more afraid for older people who get the shots, even with COPD. The initiation of shots in British nursing homes was followed by a measurable uptick in deaths. I have started making it clear to people that forced medical treatment is violence. No matter how many layers inserted in between their call to (or vote for) violence and those implementing it, it is still violence.

2) If it's so safe, then why are there still liability waivers in place?
3) How many boosters is too many boosters? What are the criteria for evaluating the ongoing value of the treatments?
4) What are the long term effects of these treatments? (Obviously can't be answered, but still...)
Yes - the whole idea, as I used to understand vaccines, was that we wanted herd immunity to protect the people who could not get vaccinated. So a measles outbreak, for instance, could never get going and impact newborns. But "Protect the Vaccinated" is a whole new level of Owellian Asshattery.
But if it works, I don't care about the herd. If my vax works, and others succumb to their choice, that leaves more stuff for me. "Herd" immunity is a call for socialism.

Except it's all wrong. The measles vaccine didn't work and there isn't any kind of immunity to it.
It's all about how we evaluate the vaccines.
With every other disease we vaccinate for, doctors are the sole gatekeepers of the data. They and only they decide if you get tested for it. And, chances are, they won't let you get tested for it if you've had the vaccine. So the vaccines, despite being completely useless, appear to work.
For covid this gatekeeping role of doctors is significantly reduced (they have it when you're in hospital for something else but that's about it).
So if patients can choose to get tested (which is pretty much the case for covid) then, unless pathologists interpret results differently for the vaxed vs the unvaxed (some no doubt do, but not universally) then not only will the vaccine not work (which was assured from the outset) but, unlike other vaccines, it won't even *appear* to work.
You don't have to believe me. Check total paralysis rates since the polio vaccine. Or total rates of sterility since the mumps vaccine, or total rates of congenital defects since the rubella vaccine. Liver cancer rates since the Hep B vaccine. If the vaccines had truly worked, then all those rates would have plummeted. But in each case the rates have not plummeted. Indeed, they've risen.
The vaccines are all worthless. All of them. Doctors simply call the diseases something else. Measles is called things like roseola, 5th disease, HFM etc. The Covid vaccines are worthless too but they also appear to be. It doesn't matter how many boosters people get, unless doctors get their gatekeeping role back (or pathologists simply refuse to interpret any vaxed tests as positive) then there is no way for the data to improve. All pro-vaxers can do is grasp at straws.
By the way, if measles (and other rashes) are caused by a virus, why are rashes typically focused? Do the viruses know which parts of our body correspond with the others?
Measles killed 200,000 last year, despite almost universal vaccination. CDC has announced a risk of renewed outbreaks here due to suddenly importing hoardes of unvaccinated foreigners. So it's potentially deadly, and vaccines are very effective and safe. Most have low risk of serious illness without the vaccine and low risk from the vaccine. Vaccinating your kids is the rational choice.
Doctors aren't sole gatekeepers of vax data. It's collected, stored and published in a variety of locations. Distributed information reduces opportunities for fraud. Competent observers reduce opportunities for being misled.

They r definitely putting a pressure campaign out with commercials with people crying saying i wish i would have gotten the vaccine. A dr from cali said you have a one in a million chance of getting hurt by the vaccine. he suggests getting it. He said Israel is mostly vaccinated so of course more will be vaxxed in the hosp. but they r not dying. how do we know what to believe. do you know if the vaxxed r dying in israel. its all so confusing.
The simple fact is that these treatments have not performed to the initial expectations, whether it be duration of immunity, breadth of immunity, or safety. The virus has evolved around the therapy provided immunity and will continue to do so. We're one or two mutations away from complete escape, or God forbid, antibody dependent enhancement.
So why? Why would any right thinking person continue down this road?
For the bureaucrats and politicians, it's quite simple. They want to remove the control group. If everyone is vaccinated, it becomes much more difficult to evaluate why and how badly the therapies failed. An admission of failure is not tolerable for these people. They're venal, they're petty, and they will sacrifice you to save their own hides. What may have started out well-intentioned almost immediately transformed into an act of their own self-preservation.
Accountability is anathema to them. It's why they hate Florida and Texas, the existence of which illustrates their mistakes. They'd much prefer a system where we were all equally ill instead of a system that evaluates them on their performance.
The problem is expectations, not vaccines. Several generations indoctrinated to expect safe spaces, panic with any situation less than 100% safe and effective. They also didn't learn math or critical thinking. Our biggest pandemic is ignorance. The prescribed cure is tyranny.

What's your point? Whether Nicki Minaj's story is true doesn't change the fact that thousands of people are reporting severe health injuries. Try looking at that Facebook thread and see for yourself. I'll take the reliability of their anectodal evidence over the assurances and mandates of government officials.

Who's panicked? I performed my risk/benefit analysis a while back, and decided that I like my 99.8% chances of surviving China's attempt to kill us all versus injecting an untested gene therapy with an unknown safety profile and unknown long-term adverse effects. Nothing I've seen since then has moved the needle in favor of the gene therapy. In fact, quite the opposite. The hard sell on the snake oil isn't reassuring in the least. I'm a hard "no" on this scam and will remain that way.

If the thought of having viral mRNA from a Chinese bat lab injected into you to go God knows where in your body, and teach your cells to sprout spike proteins like that ugly freaking virus doesn't sicken and repel you, my panicking isn't going to save you.
VAERS has several dozen reports of testicle swelling as a side effect. And the nano-particles in the jab have been shown to concentrate in reproductive tissue. And FWIW Minaj said it was swollen testicles and impotence.
The doctors who pressured a friend into getting a shot after she'd beatena bad case of covid had no interest or explanation when six days after the shot she developed symptoms suggestive of GBS. I think side effects are grossly underreported.

Several dozen reports out of billions of shots probably isn't a significant concern. It does sound pretty scary, though. But there are a lot more cases of swelling unrelated to the vax, so there are probably chance correlations with the vax without true causation. Rappers probably wouldn't be our first choice for medical diagnoses.
We have also heard of rna from the vax accumulating in ovaries and heart tissue, which generates the spike protein in those tissues, which then become damaged by the immune response. The objective is for the proteins to appear in the muscle tissue at the injection site, which is designed to regenerate when the immune response damages those cells. Damage to other cells doesn't regenerate like muscle.

She didn't say they fell off. She said he had swollen testicles and couldn't get an erection.
Maybe his testes were already hanging by a thread before he got vaxxed.
That's just beautiful. Except that real people got hurt and killed. I lost an uncle to leukemia and pancreatic cancer he had no signs of. Another guy I know of died of leukemia not very long after the shot. My uncle had been vaccinated. Another uncle suffered a stroke, after vaccination. And I can name others close to me injured by the vaccine.
We had a young parent in our small school community die suddenly. Who knows why, but we are in a very heavily vaxxed area. Any sudden death in someone under 50 I automatically suspect the jab now.

LOL - So the New York Times used the "one in 5000" headline the other day. Trying to insinuate that a vaccinated person's chances of catching Covid are 1 in 5,000. As Alex pointed out the other day, they are using DAILY risk numbers. So that "1 in 5,000" isn't "ever" or "per year", its literally your risk of catching COVID on any given DAY. And that's if you believe their numbers, and ignore the fact that the vaccines lose effectiveness over time. But if we give them the benefit of the doubt and use their 1 in 5000 (per day) bullshit, what does that translate to over the course of a year? Well, barring a leap year, there are 365 days in a year. So 365/5,000 = 7.3% (approximately). That 7.3% number is right in line with Pfizer's annual breakthrough infection risk number.
So could the "pro-medical experimentation" troll crowd that frequents this board try to defend the New York Time's decision to portray a 7.3% annual rate as a 0.02% daily rate? Do mortgage companies advertise their DAILY interest rates on home loans? Does the CDC publish your DAILY risk of catching HIV?

They get to the 1 in 500 have died from Covid by taking the total number of people who have died in the US with a positive test and dividing by the total population of 320 million. But that's over 19 months, not a year. Over that same time period, 7 in 500 people have died from all causes (including covid).
That's also a crude number. It tells you nothing given the massive differences in risk factors across ages. For school age children, that number is closer to 1 in every 500,000 dying from covid. Closer to 1 in 1,000,000 if you look at it over a 12 month period. But for people over 90 it's probably even higher than 1 in 100.

I mean - I have never seen anything like this before. good intentioned people are wanting to jab children when they have no real risk from Covid. There real risk of myocarditis may be 1/10,000 jabs or as little as 1/6000 jabs. [I thought Alex was going to mention this new Israel data on incidence of myocarditis]. But the true incidence is probably even greater since they aren't actively looking for it.

I have done the math, and would like some one to confirm it. The chance of a heart issue from the recent study from California was 162 per million. You take the chance of the event not happening, and raise it to the number of events. In this case .999838 to the power of 5. The chance of the event NOT happening is .9992. The chance of the event happening is what is left over .0008. That’s 8/10000. Now do a 12 year old who takes the first two plus one every six months. 7 shots. 1/1000. Check my math.
