A very interesting idea
A reader suggested Unreported Truths readers should create a database of physicians they trust - doctors who view their prescription pads as a last resort and are properly wary of drug companies.
In response to the Matthew Perry piece, a reader wrote:
Great article, Alex. Though I think your covid work is critical, your work exposing the dangers of marijuana, etc (and pharma in general) is equally important…
There is a lot of interest amongst your readers (as far as I can tell in the comments) in finding physicians who are clear-headed and not swayed by pharma. Perhaps I should describe them as keepers of the first axiom to "first do no harm."
Given your reach, I'm wondering if you have thought about making a database of physicians for your readers so that they may find someone in their area? I would certainly volunteer my name if you were to solicit your physician readers.

(20 cents a day? Are you kidding? This list alone must be worth at least a quarter!)

I think this is at least worth thinking about. It could (and probably would) be as simple as a list sorted by specialty and state - maybe with a line or two from readers about the person. Obviously, I would not be vouching for any of the physicians on it myself.
But I think we all know the kind of doctors this reader means - the kind who would prefer to be guided by clinical symptoms rather than scans and who are well aware of the games that pharmaceutical companies play. Conservative, medically speaking. This does NOT mean they don’t prescribe drugs, or biologics, or vaccines (yes, I think vaccines have a place in the armamentarium, though I know some of you don’t), but that they know that every intervention has a risk.
So. Let’s see what you think.
And feel free to throw names of physicians you like into the comments.
Torn on this one. It's a great idea for people who want to find a doctor like this because they likely care more about patients than profits. On the other hand, it's a horrible idea because it puts all of those names in one place to be found by bad actors to try to shut them down. :/
It won't help they'll be targeted even more. We did something similar locally with our libertarian friends then when insurance got involved they stopped paying for things like ivermectin. Then the pharmacists also stopped. You can't win.
