This National Geographic howler is right for all the wrong reasons.
It starts with a made-up scare statistic (1 in 3 lol, not even the long Covid gravy train groups say that):
Before moving on to tell the story of Hinda Stockstill, who is a typical long Covid patient. Her story begins with a NEGATIVE Covid test…
moves on to an anxiety diagnosis which she rejects:
Continues with a raft of tests that show she is completely fine physically…
And, the piece de resistance, goes on to an even more expensive test that she begs for but cannot be bothered to take:
REMEMBER: this is the patient that National Geographic CHOSE to highlight as a perfect example of long Covid. This is the best they could find.
Your tax and insurance dollars at work!
Why do they keep pushing this long Covid? I have never met anyone in real life who has even mentioned it. It seems to be a disease that exists solely in the imagination of journalists.
Hinda, not Honda. Autocorrect strikes again. I apologize.
