I don't think this objection will matter as much as we think. The vaccinators have to make the transition from "polio" style actual vaccine to "flu shot" style... whatever the flu shot it. But that transition won't be hard. People already understand the concept of an annual flu shot, and millions line up for them. The covid needles will simply be reclassified into this category, with the signal exception that they will be made mandatory for everyone.

Expand full comment

But they need to be boostered until kingdom come, are demonstrably not as safe as flu shots, and they are are for a virus which is less threatening than the flu to the you g and healthy population so mandating the vax is far more objectionable than a flu shot mandate would be.

Well, I think half the country will line up for annual boosters - perhaps a combo covid/flu shot with no reservations, like you are saying.

However, to get some of their schemes off the ground, they need like 90% participation, and that's a tall order. Especially when you consider how few people do get the flu shot each year & it's hardly been politicized.

The thing is ... will people tolerate getting violently ill every time they take the Covid MRNA shots? I've read that the more you take MRNA shots, the sicker you get. So someone who got a fever and chills on their second dose, gets knocked out with body aches for three days on the third, and a full week for the fourth, and so on. Will people keep going back, knowing they'll get even sicker next time?

We shall see. I've been constantly surprised by people's behavior during this time.

"The thing is ... will people tolerate getting violently ill every time they take the Covid MRNA shots?"

It's a great question. I think people enjoy being martyrs, though, and enough have been convinced that it's "for the greater good". (The almighty biotech stocks! j/k)

My best guess it's not that sustainable, though. In mind, there is a planned option that most people will opt for that will be essentially a severely diluted "booster" + pfizermectin.

...And then 8 years down the road, we will realize that everyone has natural immunity anyway (like India essentially does now), and it will off to the next wacky scheme.

That makes sense. I keep hoping people come to their senses soon so this can be over, and we can move on ... but you're right, it'll probably be ten years before people can accept the truth.

People only see covid on the news in some small towns where they run around mask-free & pity those like me in a bigger city.

If this OSHA mandate gets completely defeated (which seems probable) - it's going to be pretty awkward for the government to move on to the mandated boosters for like 70% of the country with no enforcement mechanism. (I don't think airlines is the answer either, or they would have done that already.)

If DeSantis sets the wheels in motion to deny OSHA's presence in Florida, I predict that will set the dominoes in motion for States to start pushing back against all the three and four letter Federal agencies. If the State is solvent and businesses flock there (as in the case of Florida and Texas) and they stop taking any funds from the Feds, the 'come and get me' approach is an excellent strategy. Bye bye CDC, EPA, Dept of Education and so on. Time to decentralize.

Two examples are the Civil War (habeus corpus, military trials of civilians) and WW II (Concentration camps for Japanese, German, Italian ethnic Americans or legal aliens having committed no crime other than being of the wrong nationality). A student of American law or history could probably name many more such suspensions of legal rights or established law.

I'm far from arguing any of the government actions during the "pandemic" have the slightest justification. I'm only showing that the law is whatever the government says it is.

True, but even with those it was because we let them. That is why these and end nets exist, so that if we decide not to let them, we have to power to compel them to stop. The hard part is the “deciding followed by doing”. We have not been all that good with that.

Now this...

Vaccine: A preparation that is used to stimulate the body’s immune response against diseases. Vaccines are usually administered through needle injections, but some can be administered by mouth or sprayed into the nose.

Misses something important: a vaccine originally was specifically derived from a weakened or killed virus or bacteria. I will allow my early 1980s vintage paper dictionary also includes "etc." in the definition. Also your first definition assumes that all vaccines are perfect. Many approach that (one shot, lifetime protection). But it's not essential. There have been plenty of traditional vaccines that offer protection for five, ten years. Also a traditional vaccine might offer good, but not perfect protection against a disease. 75% risk reduction is better than no protection at all.

Those in charge (and I'm not talking about President Biden, and before that, President Trump), understand clearly that the vaccine (used loosely) doesn't work. They've known for months (some knew before its release). These unelected leaders understand CLEARLY that the number of injured from the Jab is HUGE. They understand that eventually (10 years) the numbers of vaccine deaths will surface. Every American needs to understand the 10% rule. What we are "allowed" to know, is only 10% of the actual story.
