Very nice. However, Trump didn't start vicious rhetoric. They started before he ever took office in 2017. They threatened him physically, called him a dictator, and said they would start the impeachment. They are criminals on top of it. He's no politician and sometimes I'm amazed at his self control after all this. Phony Russia bullshit, phony impeachments, phony indictments and then they try to kill him. I'm shocked he has this much self control. But good for you.

Expand full comment

i actually don't think his "rhetoric" is all that vicious. there are "very bad" people in this country, there is an "enemy within."

everything they say about him- that he's building concentration camps for his enemies (that would be kathy hochul), that he's going to prosecute his political opponents (that would be fani willis, jack smith, juan merchan and arthur engoran), that he's going to turn the military on citizens (that would be the biden administration), that he's an "existential threat to democracy" (that would be the DNC)- is what they're really doing.

every accusation is an admission.

Expand full comment

I agree. It's mostly stuff in fun. What they do is dangerous and will get someone killed.

Expand full comment

HAS gotten people killed. The summer of 'mostly peaceful protests' got 25 people killed. And countless people assaulted and beaten. And arson. And Mom and Pop stores destroyed.

Nothing promotes racial harmony like looting electronics stores. At least that's what Pelosi would have us believe.

The persistent refrain from Kamala and other leading Democrats and their media allies that Trump is a fascistic would-be autocrat who, if re-elected, will "put an end to democracy in America" is a dog-whistle to Democratic-Party election officials, voting-machine programmers, hackers, ballot harvesters, et al. to do whatever they can to minimize the likelihood of such an outcome by any means they think they can get away with. Thank you for remembering the names of the victims of illegal immigrant crime. Our President? (Biden) and VP Harris have ignored them.

Expand full comment

And these names represent only a fraction of US citizens harmed / killed by illegal criminals.

Expand full comment

I just heard a liberal say that American citizens commit more crimes than illegal immigrants. I don't know how he came to that conclusion when we have not vetted immigrants and they have been released into the country. Like you said we only know a fraction of the crimes committed against citizens by illegal criminals.

Expand full comment

And who cares, anyways? What is the optimum ratio of criminal illegal immigrants to criminal citizens that should be tolerated? To me, zero imported criminals.

Expand full comment

American citizens outnumber illegal immigrants 10 to 1. Of course we commit "more crimes". But the illegals represent a far more violent and dangerous criminal cohort.

Expand full comment

The fact that the relatively small number of serious crimes committed by illegal immigrants is your and Trump's focus is exactly what I'm talking about. It's pure racism. Through and through. The US is literally sending $billions of our taxpayer dollars, without our consent, to fund the killing of tens of thousands of Palestinians as we speak, and I'm guessing you're fine with that. The US military killed directly and indirectly, over a million Iraqis during and in the years after the illegal 2003 invasion of Iraq. And I'm guessing you're ok with that. Coal power resulted in half a million US deaths over twenty years and I'm guessing that's probably not an issue you've followed too closely. https://news.utexas.edu/2023/11/27/coal-power-killed-half-a-million-people-in-u-s-over-two-decades/. So why does immigration get so much political attention? Well, clearly b/c it appeals to the still-racist parts of the country that were former slave states and former Jim Crow states. It's pure demagoguery.

Expand full comment

We can't support infinity illegal immigrants. That's common sense, not racism.

he was talking about illegal aliens and he was 100% correct about that. he's had to double and triple and quadruple down because the problem has doubled, tripled and quadrupled.

when we went up to NYC for the closing night of phantom of the opera (we both worked on the show when we lived there), we could not stay in our first choice of hotels because it was totally given over to illegal migrants. parks have been closed to citizens so that non-citizens can camp out. the city is spending billions, not on the people who live and work there, but on the invaders.

the democratic mayor of NYC publicly complained that the influx was killing NYC, after which he was "punished" by the party of lawfare.

i have two musician friends, a married couple from russia. they were educated at Yale and now have PhDs. they play in multiple orchestras, teach music at colleges, and commission new works written for them.

it took them years and cost them around $20 grand to finally get their green cards. they had to produce 9000 pages of evidence documenting their suitability for acceptance here. they had to have medical examinations and would have had to "catch up" on all the required vaccines if the doctor hadn't accepted their russian doctor's exemptions. in 5 years, if they commit no crimes and pass a civics test, they will qualify for citizenship and be able at last to vote in our elections (although if the US keeps up it's demented provocation of russia, they'll be taking us there).

Because the number of rapists and murderers entering our country illegally has only quadrupled and quintupled since Biden said "Surge the border" during the Dem primaries and in the first weeks of his 2020 "win" Biden cancelled the wall, cancelled Remain in Place, reenacted Catch and Release, gave do-nothing Harris the Border Czar position, Etc. Etc. Etc., and had KJ Pierre et al repeatedly deny the border was open to all until about 6 months ago, after giving illegals cell phones, hotels, and flights and bus rides all over the country made it too hard to ignore, coupled with pushback from Democrats such as "Sanctuary City" NYC Mayor Adams who pleaded for it to stop, so the Dems and media flipped on a dime and mimicked the talking point "It's Trump's fault". Yet you'd rather ignore the thousands of minorities who've become crime victims of the many thousands of convicted criminals who are a sizable part of this orchestrated massive influx of illegals, pretending to be hung up on the "racist language" used to describe illegals... Who says they're all minorities? They're people from all over the world, of all different persuasions. In the 80's, was I being racist when I said I don't like the Boston Celtics or Detroit Pistons cuz I loved the Lakers? And all three teams were in the US LEGALLY, playing by the rules.

I'm 63 years old and voted for the Democrats since I was in college - almost 40 years. I voted for Clinton in 2016 and was upset she didn't win and the country didn't have its first woman president. I was good Democrat (except for 1 thing below) and thought I was "better" than the Republicans as I believed all the liberal media presented to me about these people. After Trump was in office for about a year, I started feeling like it was beating a dead horse (how many times do you need to tell me he's this or that - the joke not funny after the 500,000th time) and Trump was a constant, obsessive topic with my liberal friends and my friends became as annoying with this as the media was. Then COVID hit and I was not into it from the start. Not one minute. That was the beginning of the end for me and the Dems. I saw my friends give up their values as soon as they were afraid of something. I lived in a state (NJ) that set up a hotline so residents could call in and rat out their neighbors for not abiding by the insane rules. I lived in a town along the Delaware River and used to run on the path along the river almost daily and they shut it down and plastered it with signs telling you to wear mask. I ripped down every sign I could everywhere I went and threw them out. I was a naughty girl. When I went to the grocery store I didn't put a mask on until I got in and left my nose out and made a dramatic ripping of it of when I left the store. What really bothered me was the men wearing the mask. I thought right from the start "What happened to men?" Why are they all going along with this - don't they stand up for anything anymore?

I didn't vote in the 2020 election for the first time in decades. Couldn't do it. I wasn't going to vote in this - just didn't want to vote for either side but recently have been watching a lot of interviews with people who were hurt by the this nonsense on the left and I watched Trump on Joe Rogan and thought - I 'm gonna do it and vote for Trump.

I didn't think I could do it either Alex but I'm going to. So as someone who has a 28 -year old son with autism and has been involved in the vaccines and autism fight since he was 3 years old - I'm waiting for hell to freeze over again with you and you come around to something even more difficult than voting for Trump. To be able to bear the idea of the unbearable. That there's a connection between vaccines and autism and we all played Russian Roulette with our children.

I was a school nurse in NYC for 16 years. One of my schools had a 32-seat autism program.

My observation is that at least half those kids were NOT autistic or "on the spectrum" as the "experts" like to say. Some of them were what we used to call mildly to moderately "retarded." Some were exhibiting severe behavior problems. Others had significant neurological deficits probably due to genetic syndromes. So part of the problem is over-diagnosis. That being said, it was obvious that as the immunization schedule increased over the years so did the incidence of chronic illness in school-age children. Everything from Type 1 diabetes to food allergies/intolerances has a suspicious etiology. Truly a disaster.

As a mother and pediatric nurse practitioner I've come to believe that there's a definite connection between vaccines and many conditions - not just autism. I worked in the NYC public school system for 16 years and witnessed ever-expanding incidences of food allergies, asthma, and autoimmune diseases (especially the gastrointestinal variety).

On a personal note: My son was a healthy 13-year-old who had embarked on what was probably his final growth spurt. We were homeschooling & there was a possibility he might choose to go to a traditional high school, so I took him to get the HepB vaccine (mandated for NYC schools in 1999). About a month after the last dose his health basically collapsed. He not only stopped growing, he fell off his growth curve completely (height & weight) & developed irritable bowel syndrome & reflux. He has never fully recovered, but has managed to make a life for himself.

Perhaps the vaccine was not the cause, but I cannot shake the feeling that it was - & I was the one who signed the consent. Ironically, he chose to continue to homeschool thru the high school years, so he never needed that vaccine (colleges only cared about the MMR at that time).

He managed to get through college & law school very successfully, but there were countless medical visits during that time. Also ironically, his practice area specialty is medical malpractice.
