Seems the Nuzzi “affair” was a failed honey pot scam perpetrated by a single corrupt media individual for personal gain. Can’t really have an affair with just one coming to the party.

Amen brother. A honey pot indeed. This type of behavior by women infuriates me. Disgusting lack of character.

Completely agree! I do not think he is/was interested in her. Some reports have characterized her as a type of "stalker" relative to the "sexting".

Ordinary people might be shocked to know how many young, good looking women prowl around centers of power and constantly throw themselves at rich, powerful, well known men. Offering up sex is their currency to this world. They are a powerless, sad, rather pathetic group of women, to say the least.

I'm still trying to understand why this qualified as an "affair"or a "relationship." Have I missed something (I've been out of the loop for awhile)? All I get from this is that Nuzzi sexted RFK Jr. Did RFK Jr. reciprocate? I am confused.

It occurs to me that this has deep state fingerprints all over it. One wonders if they'll now resort to the more permanent approach used on previously bothersome Kennedys.

Well said... very well said. I cannot understand my friends. I am at the high income level but recoil at their blatant disregard, and in many cases full on disgust and dislike, of almost everyone they deem below their economic class. It it immoral at least, and probably can be described as evil.

Since Bill Clinton signed NAFTA and the other trade agreements that sent so much of our industry and manufacturing to Asia, it has devastated the economic opportunity of the American working class. They got cheap Walmart crap from China as a pay-back. However, as the US moved to be the 8th highest cost of living out of 180 countries, the same high-earning business and administrative elites that pushed these policies and actions that created a massive income and wealth gap between them and the rest... they inexplicitly started denigrating and attacking these same fellow Americans that they had economically harmed over the last several decades.

I have spent most of the last 20 years trying to figure out how my liberal friend that I once respected could do these things. We saw it explode during the pandemic... my liberal friends cool with harming so many school children, families, and small businesses. Was it some recent mass formation psychosis that made them become this way... or was it always in their DNA and they had previously hid it... but Trump on the stage and the Democrat media inflaming all the politics of it made them feel empowered to show their true selves?

Billionaire Taylor Swift just stuck her finger in the eye of working class people that tend to be the fans of her boyfriend's privileged line of work. Multi-millionaire Howard Stern just reported that he does not hate Trump, but Trump supporters.

I am still not sure which is the answer here... are they afflicted with a temporary media-made psychosis... or are they just Dark Triad narcissists that feel free to show their true colors? Regardless, I am more than disappointed in the behavior of those privileged to have elite status... they really do suck these days. They make the Gilded class of the 1920s look like saints by comparison.

I think they're permanently program to process everything this way: "Democrats: Good", "Right-Wing: Bad" because "Right-Wing = racist, sexist, anti-LGBTQDGHHTRTRYTRRT234+".

Fortunately some of the ruling elite are finally seeing the light and abandoning the leftist ship (Bill Ackman is the most recent example)

I have to wonder if Ackman really saw the light, or whether things finally affected him personally in a way that he was forced to wake up.

It’s not just the ones with a higher income that despise those beneath them, but even many at more “average” levels who now think they’re just as good as their former “betters”. I think it’s this last group of more average income earners who are the most gleeful about all this, as now they have so many more beneath them and the supposed approval of their former betters.

I think most people want to see themselves as the "good" people, or at least not the baddies. Yet the clerisy (to borrow Kotkin's term) and the oligarchs clearly want to benefit themselves at the expense of the broader society. In order to do this, they create a fiction (which they almost believe at times) that the masses they want to oppress cannot be trusted with things like free speech and self-governance. This justifies depriving the general public of those things while maintaining their own self-regard.

Good points. A lot of "the rest of us" have a deep disgust and total disdain for these so-called "elites" living in their insulated bubble. I used to wonder if they even knew how we view them all, but then I realized that whether they know or don't know is immaterial, what is certain is that they simply don't care nor do they have to care.

I am increasingly reaching the conclusion that all this craziness was able to proliferate and accelerate due to the internet. It suddenly became so much easier to brainwash people en masse. I'm 75 and have always been a keen political observer. I've watched things evolve from the 1970s and saw a distinct change beginning in the early to mid 2000's as the internet capabilities got stronger and everyone got smart phones, which in particular put us on a steep decline downwards. I noticed odd things as early as 2009, when smart phones were becoming more ubiquitous although a lot of people still had flip phones. I was up in Squaw Valley in a café on top of the mountains, in a spot with amazingly beautiful views, it was a sunny day, great temperature, and I saw a group of 20-somethings come into the café. In past years you would see a laughing group of friends, chatting about their ski runs and the wonderful day we were all experiencing in this breathtaking spot. But what I saw was this scenario: six people sitting at a table staring down at their phones and not saying a single word to each other, no chatting, no laughing, just zombies staring at their phones. I remember my initial thought was this: "Why are they more interested in communicating with someone who is NOT at that table with them rather than the other 5 who are there?" I've never forgotten that particular scene.

The Nuzzi article has all the hallmarks of a smear campaign. I’m a simple rancher and I can smell bullshit a mile away. I call bullshit. This came out because he supported Donald Trump and the controlled media hates him and sees a real threat in Kennedy’s endorsement.

Yup. Besides the moral turpitude, the most striking aspect of this era is the shortage of bullshit meters.

I don't think the RFK/Nuzzi story is a scandal--they met in person once when she wrote a hit piece. I think if this (that Nuzzi sent RFK naked pictures) is the worst the Democrats can find now then RFK Jr has been ok for last decade.

Where to begin. The ruling class is worthy of nothing but overt, and everlasting condemnation. That these moral dwarves aspire to tell anyone else how to live reflects dismally on any person who does anything but spit in their general direction.

We simply must think for ourselves and stop letting culture define who we are by how well we follow instructions. I don’t care what they call me and obviously neither does Alex. These people have earned the visceral disgust which I hurl at them.

Well this guy was prescient:

..the corruption of the priesthood occurred at the precise moment in which it changed from a minority organised to impart knowledge into a minority organised to withhold it.

The great danger of decadence in journalism is almost exactly the same. Journalism possesses in itself the potentiality of becoming one of the most frightful monstrosities and delusions that have ever cursed mankind.

This horrible transformation will occur at the exact instant at which journalists realise that they can become an aristocrat...."

Hi Alex, There’s no end to the elites’ hypocrisy; however, there’s nothing new under the sun. As much as I’m outraged by the media’s response to reprehensible behavior, it’s par for the course - and it will continue to be so. We need to continue to fight for the truth, and we need to, more than ever, support folks like Alex who are willing to speak the truth.

We are governed by a kakistocracy for certain. And what's worse is they are always wrong and yet, never uncertain. We are told we must hold Mark Robinson completely responsible for every past comment decades ago (as of yet, unproven they were his) yet told to ignore Harris's past comments, just a few months old ON VIDEO. We were told that standing within six feet of anyone was possibly the worst violation in human history, but it's ok for the Indian Marty Feldman to host sex parties? We need to give this entire government an enema, and flush those responsible.
