The horrors of a liberal Supreme Court...

Expand full comment

Three of those justices are utterly delusional. That indeed is scary.

Expand full comment

But they heard about some of the blowback on the false statistics.

Expand full comment

and yet still voted nonsensically, both from perspective of need (emergency) and constitutionality of mandating a medical procedure without informed consent, of private companies by a federal authority.

Expand full comment

Not to mention an experimental, potentially lethal medical procedure!

with zero liability to the employer, govt., or pharma co.

Supported their party and its fearless leader.

Expand full comment

“Leader” is definitely not the right term but I hear ya!

Expand full comment

Expand full comment

They always vote as a pack because their loyalty is with their party.

Expand full comment

Forced loyalty. It’s a party of thugs.

Expand full comment

When they are supposed to support the law and constitution. Lady Justice is supposed to be blind.

Expand full comment

Because Obama bin Biden told them to.

Expand full comment

They are controlled by those who elected them to these positions. They have no regard for the Constitution.

Expand full comment

But how are they controlled? They have lifetime tenure.

Expand full comment

Don't worry. The gang can always find the way to get back at them. Remember threats of physical violence uttered by Chucky Schumer(D) on the steps of the Supreme Court?

Expand full comment

Controlled by threats of death---Simple.

Expand full comment

That's another option but the money and power those in power have its easier and less risky to just bribe or blackmail the official e4specially since most can bought off for rather cheap.

Expand full comment

Epstein didn’t kill himself.

Expand full comment

Sure… as long as they are alive. There’s your control mechanism.

Expand full comment

Bribery and/or blackmail. I will admit there are some who probably due it because the genuinely believe our system is evil and needs to be over thrown with some collectivist like system of governance but the majority are bribed with a decent number blackmailed and or both. Unlike normal bribery amongst non-government officials they get legalized bribery like inside trading which Congress made sure to give itself protection from a few years back. In fairness I could see the logic of why one would want to do this as it's easy to be indirectly invested in something that your could argue you benefit from being in elected office but that's not why they gave them self an exception to insider trading.

Expand full comment

Obama only appointed people he had dirt on. That dirt can still be exposed, shaming them into retiring unless they vote a certain way. IMHO.

Expand full comment

Delusional, yes, but mostly ignorant (I mean STUPID). The ridiculous ramblings of Sotomayor and Kagan were not only non-factual but they missed the point entirely--Mandate was unconstitutional regardless. As for the Medicare and Medicaid mandate to healthcare facilities, there is always a price for taking money from the federal government, but it still sucks. IMO, this may cause many docs and facilities to drop those patients.

Expand full comment

We as patients should drop some of those doctors. Many "sang the song" and denied vital treatment and advice to patients. They don't deserve to see patients or even hold a medical license.

Expand full comment

Do your prep now. Have a discussion with your PCP to ask if and whether they will prescribe early treatment. If not, find another doctor. It’s like living in a state hostile to your freedom, walk away.

Expand full comment

Agree 💯! Sadly you can no longer bank on the medical community looking out for your best interest or best medical care...you really have to vet the doctors and the medical centers/hospitals they are affiliated with to make sure what their governing protocols are and what prescriptions/treatments they administer.

Expand full comment

“The first step is to give up the illusion that the primary purpose of modern medical research is to improve Americans’ health most effectively and efficiently. In our opinion, the primary purpose of commercially funded clinical research is to maximize financial return on investment, not health.”

—John Abramson, M.D., Harvard Medical School

Expand full comment

My PCP does not provide any treatment for COVID, but I have limited choices due to insurance. I would have to pay cash for a doc who will treat,. Honestly, would we not be better off with cash pay. If docs didn't get ripped off by Medicare and Medicaid, they could probably lower cash prices. Healthcare in America is a convoluted mess.

Expand full comment

I think you might miss the point. You might be a medicaid/medicare beneficiary looking for a logical doctor willing to speak rationally about risk/reward of a covid shot, but under this ruling the only doctors allowed to take on such patients will be those who submitted to being jabbed themselves. They will have been baptized by pharma so to speak. You choice of doctor will be severely limited to only the covidian cultists.

Expand full comment

Ah yes, I see. A nuance I did not pick up on... Thank you!

Expand full comment

A fear of mine anyway. My wife will leave healthcare before being jabbed as will I. I’m afraid this may be at least part of the plan. To get rid of people like us so patients have limited choice.

This should be a striking illustration to everyone as to the individual liberty that is ceded every time the federal government seizes more power and control over private entities (in this instance, the government takeover of healthcare through Medicaid Medicare Obamacare etc.). We don’t just create a government program. We give them leverage to limit your personal choices and seize control of your life!

You are so right! Avoid federal $$ whenever possible. Unfortunately, the feds have little by little over the years infiltrated far too many areas of our lives.

Government contracts are a seemingly great income source yet can have many consequences.

Expand full comment

I hope this outcome will spur the opening of providers and facilities offering services that exclude government funding and middlemen.

Expand full comment

Seems like if you spent 40+ years paying into medicare, you should be able to see a free-thinking, unbaptized doctor too.

Expand full comment

Exactly. And why should I as a provider have to turn away anyone over the age of 65 just because I don’t want or need a particular jab? I pay into it, same as you and everyone does.....and none with option to opt out.

That outcome would be the best solution to a bad situation

Yes, 2 weeks in AB pain, not seen the Gastro in almost 3 yrs, he doesn't require I see him yearly, but the once every 3 yr Medicare/Tricare Life, hub served 20 yrs in the USN for, dictates 3 yrs between Upper Endoscope, for a multitude of GI issues. Unless you get sick, we moved out of a major Blue county to a small rural one, so a 2 hr drive + wait time, not been GI sick, Express Scripts just calls for refills. Even my Cardio is once a year, if only to run a EKG he understands the system better. ENDO/ENT/ Ophthalmologist every 6 months or by what the lab work says. Hub sees the Ophthalmologist and Glaucoma doc on their time tables. Until Trump made the Vietnam Navy, Vietnam Vets, he didn't put them under Agent Orange, along with heavy metal solvents, created huge eye damage. Flight Deck hearing damage is VA disability. Our OOP expenses get larger every year, as congress takes a sharp knife to promised benefits.

Expand full comment

I'm hearing that the Feds aren't reimbursing for Medicare expenses at the current time in the way that they should either. That claims filed aren't being reimbursed. Medical institutions are being left scrambling to cover their expenses.

I think we may be about to see the collapse of major government programs--and I'm concerned about what this will do to my parents' and other retirees' healthcare.

Expand full comment

That happened under Obama too. Many waited 6 months to be paid. I lived under the no safety net, in my 30's. at 73, I couldn't do it, been disabled since I was 58. Our statements showed paid, we get what Medicare covers separate from Tricare Life. A doc who fails to file on time eats the Tricare. We get told they don't take it, WELL they HAVE TO.

You folks have no idea what people in power and authority really think, and do, every day of late. And, they haven't been vaccinated, they know it is a risk!

Expand full comment

they're the ones driving masked alone in their car.

Expand full comment

I just shake my head when I see a person wearing a mask in their car or worse out jogging or biking by themselves. They may not get COVID but they will eventually realize the consequences of continually re-breathing in their own bad breath.

Expand full comment

Only a 95 mask (which most don't wear) has a stronger ability to stop such a virus and those are much worse regarding breathing impairment. I got Omicron over Christmas break and recovered in less than a week and took third at a national fencing competition last Saturday. I haven't been Jabbed. How is that possible? I should have been hospitalized or dead according to FJB. It's better for the Un Jabbed who haven't acquired natural immunity to get Omicron.

Expand full comment

I had what I believe was Omicron--no tests or sites available at moment. Upon getting a slight sore throat, I immediately began the FLCCC protocol of povidone iodine nasal rinse and gargle, continued the list of supplements and added the suggested one aspirin per day. Knocked that baby out within 3 or 4 days, only ran a fever for one or two of those days, and I am in the "high-risk" category. I give most credit to the povidone iodine rinse and gargle. I am not saying this virus should not be taken seriously, but if you are armed with knowledge and prepared with supplies, you will be OK in most cases. I did not have the money to go to an online doc and then pay for Ivermectin and such so adopted the much maligned practice of (guided) self care. Re: masks, whether it be physical or psychological or a combo, I can't wear them for more than maybe a half an hour, N95 maybe 15 mins.

Expand full comment

I also followed FLCCC Protocols including 15 mg of Ivermectin a day for 5 days. My symptoms were headache, fatigue, back aches and cough with some phlegm. I might have had a slight temperature the first day. I never got tested at that time but passed a Rapid Antigen test the Friday before the tournament ( 1 week ago).

He was going to appoint Garland to SCOTUS, need I say more? Ok, he had the goods on Hillary and Joe. Enough to put them in prison like he did to Illinois Governor Blagojevich because he didn’t appoint who Obama wanted to fill his Senate seat. He emasculated NJ Senator Menendez for opposing the moronic Iran nuclear deal by prosecuting his physician friend for Medicare fraud. Menendez backed down and Harry Reid dropped the ethics charges.

No argument here. Even to us on the right it's inarguable that Trump's track record in appointments and personnel matters was pathetic. It's something people really need to think hard about before nominating him again. I was pleasantly surprised that Amy Comey-Barrett came out on the right side of both cases.

Expand full comment

I would vote for Trump again! He is not perfect, no one is, but I believe he did the best he could while being attacked, undermined and sabotaged from all sides. He was not prepared for that not having been a Washington insider. Conservatives were all pulling for Amy Coney-Barrett and in many cases she has been a huge disappointment. I too was glad she came out on the right side of the vaccine mandate cases.

This is one of the reasons I voted for Trump in 2016 and was grateful he won. This part of his legacy will benefit the country for a long time.

It is unfortunate we didn't win on the "health care" mandate as well. Many health care workers have been hung out to dry.

can they use medical or religious exemptions?

Expand full comment

Yes, many institutions (like mine) allow religious or medical exemptions and they likely will continue to allow them. But for some workers who lost their jobs because of the mandate, they’re now out of luck, I think. Very, very disappointed in Justices Kavanaugh and Roberts.

Expand full comment

Kavanaugh, disappointed doesn't adequately describe my feelings. Roberts, figured it out with his Obamacare decision, expect nothing from him, pleasantly surprised with his ruling no on the OSHA mandate.

Expand full comment

Yes, but Does not matter. I refuse to be forced to test every week. Do you see? For the rest of my career, every week. At my own expense. PCR only accepted at my job. $100 per after govt stops covering. I make roughly $30k. I support myself. I support others. It’s not just about the injustice .

Expand full comment

Say NO. They need you more than you need them.

Expand full comment

Well, it is about the injustice when looking at the Constitution and the fact that we expect privacy regarding our medical/healthcare decisions and illness or wellness. No argument that the financial burden and the high probability of false positives from the PCR tests are huge issues, but for me the larger issue is medical privacy. I do not know current rules, but forever and ever HIV+ patients were not required to disclose their status in any situation (with possible exception of purposefully infecting someone). IMO, HIV poses a much greater risk in general than COVID currently does.

You are wrong. There is now an avalanche of documentation that proves there was massive vote fraud. I left Nevada out in my list of states. Steven Crowder sent teams to check on addresses and there were citizen groups who researched the voter rolls. There were thousands of the dead, the those living in vacant lots and on median strips on the highway, those who had moved out of the state long before, and duplicate ballots to sway the election to Biden.

If you're following the data coming out of the election integrity investigations, you quickly realize that it wasn't just 7 states where there was fraud (although 7 states did have egregious amounts of fraud): it was all of them. Oklahoma had the least amount of fraud --but still significant fraud.

The fraud in Nebraska resulted in an electoral vote going to Biden that shouldn't ever have been in question, and should have gone for Trump. Nebraska votes almost solid Republican except for one part in Omaha, yet if you look at just the 2020 election results, you might gain the mistaken impression that the state now votes "purple."

Every state's election fraud looks a little different, but it all amounts to the same thing: we have to clean up our elections or none of our votes will ever count again.

When Biden had political rallies you could count those who turned out to hear him on two hands. Really. Remember those circles painted on the tarmac? There were so few people there they had to fill the parking lots with cars to make it look like there was an actual turnout. Contrast that with the turnout for each and every Trump rally. The pink hat marchers didn't represent even 1% of women in this country. Just because they were loud didn't mean that represented the rest of us.

Moving on...Election fraud has been going on for quite a while now. Do you know whose votes the leftists are mostly stealing? Looking at a map of the election fraud in our state, it's clear that they're stealing the votes of poor people and retirees, half of whom are...WOMEN.

I think--we're all in this together. We need to stop trying to stab each other in the back over stuff we can't help--like our gender.

I shudder to think what kind of police state we would have become under Hillary. The woman is vicious and this has been well documented in any number of books. She also loves money. Check out Peter Schweitzer's book "Clinton Cash." President Trump has a deep respect for the Constitution and Federalism. This is why he did not call out the National Guard for all those cities that were burning and restore order. He was waiting for their state and local governments to request help. Personally, I think this was a mistake and he should have followed President Eisenhower's example when he called out the National Guard to protect the students integrating the high school in Little Rock. President Trump had to work against almost insurmountable head winds of the MSM, Big Tech, Democrats, and lawsuits. He has to be the most investigated president in history and they have found nothing although they have made up much and insinuated a whole lot.

The definition has changed. What's now called conservatism is actually classical liberalism. From the 70's to the earlier 2000s, the religious right dominated the conservative movement, but now most conservatives don't care about social issues like gay marriage, and many support things like marijuana legalization. They're main concern is limiting the size and overreach of government.

I'd say that a lot more conservatives still do care about that than you may think (gay marriage). In fact--let's make a distinction here: not all conservatives are Christian, but--Christian conservatives do feel pretty strongly about this, and do comprise a significant share of Trump's support.

The Bible has some pretty strong words for anyone promoting sin: "the wages of sin is death." If you believe what the Bible teaches, then... you won't be on board with sin regardless of the sin, no matter what or who tries to muzzle your voice. Conservative Christian voices being muzzled is not and can never be counted the same as them agreeing with or giving consent to sin.

Did you know that you can still go to the Dead Sea and see the devastation for yourself that God visited on Sodom and Gomorrah? The ruins are still there. So is the sulfur brimstone. The nodules found in the ashes of the ruins are extraordinarily pure--like nothing else found in nature.

Maybe--it isn't conservatives' assent to sin that anyone should be concerned about. Maybe--each of us should be far, far more concerned about what God thinks about it, and about what God wants from us.

God doesn't actually need any of us to enforce His own laws.

Christians stand witness and testify to what is good and right and true because we are called to do so and out of love for our fellow human beings. We'd rather not see anyone made subject to His holy and righteous judgment who can instead be rescued and redeemed. We are fortunate in trusting and believing that there is a God who loves humans enough and is patient and long-suffering enough to rescue us from our own sinful bent to self-destruction instead of just summarily destroying us all--but that rescue requires a choice, and each of us must choose to make it. And God's patience with us is--as He has warned--a temporary thing. It won't last forever.

That's one of the silver linings of this pandemic debacle. People are laying aside ideology to once again agree on what is rational. I am sure that I disagree with Alex on many, many topics, but he has earned my respect in ways few individuals ever have.

The author lost me (very near the beginning of the essay) when he referred to Noam Chomsky with admiration. Though Chomsky at one time was widely considered to a brave truth-teller, at this point he's morphed into a perfect shill for government propaganda, at least as far as covid and the poison injections are concerned.

I used to consider myself a member of the theoretical "far-left," but now I say I'm "politically unaligned."

Expand full comment

Yeah it's interesting how Chomsky has joined the Covid maximalist camp. And disappointing. I also interviewed him on these issues and did not like his answers. But that all said I am still proudly a Chomskyan left libertarian b/c even if Chomsky got Covid very wrong it doesn't undermine his intellectual edifice more generally. https://tamhunt.medium.com/noam-chomsky-on-the-coronavirus-pandemic-and-government-responses-be8301359dbb

Really?! Are you serious?! I think Chomsky's rabid pro-vax stance and all that goes with it - the vicious demonization of anti-vaxers, etc. - completely destroys his legacy.

And I don't say this just about Noam Chomsky. I feel this way about every single journalist, writer, and public intellectual who previously had been outspoken, courageous, willing to speak the bitter truth to power, who currently adopts and endorses the propaganda from the government about covid and the "vaccines.

There are legions of people like this. I believe the CIA has taken control of the "independent" media in all its various guises. I suspect this has been gradually happening for decades, but has become more widespread in recent years. There's simply no explanation for their universal, slavish adherence to the official narrative otherwise.

No reason to be blackpilled about this. This is a win. Celebrate and on to the next one. There's no data to support any vaccination at all, not to mention mandates. The pandemic is over but they just keep poking it with a stick. After omicron is over in a few weeks, so is this circus.

Expand full comment

Yes, and in every LOCAL election everywhere.

Expand full comment

We need to be vigilant before November and melt Congress’s phone lines down, repeatedly, with the flood of calls and send so many emails their inbox quotas are exceeded. They will try to create the authority for OSHA to effect this mandate as well as every other socialist thing they want. They only have to win once, before November and get it signed into law, even if they lose across the board in November (assuming we have anything remotely resembling a legitimate election come November). We have to win every single time to preserve a free country.

I think that's the optimistic response, but I see too much else still happening everywhere and the U.S. will never be an outlier in this mess. I believe states will follow.

There has never been any data and look where we are. And with all of the exposure we have now, many (and I mean many) people are still scared to death and pro-mandate. Expand full comment

It's exciting to see one mandate blocked. But it doesn't stop the mandates for health care workers, federal employees, or the military. And the military isn't approving any religious exemptions. The fight isn't over yet.

Expand full comment

The military has already had vaccine mandates for other illnesses and almost no religious exemption requests were approved. This mandate has called attention to this and there is current litigation regarding the failure of the military to follow the Religious Freedom and Restoration Act that is showing favorable results. As for healthcare workers, there is a severe shortage which leaves the employees in the driver’s seat. The smart ones will apply for religious and/or medical exemptions which will likely be liberally approved due to the shortage.

I saw today that Biden will have a federal agency begin asking employers for lists of those who used the religious exemption. HMMM They will have to bring in the national guard to a lot of hospitals

The Federal Contractor mandate is still stayed so that one is the next big one

Seeing the CMS one upheld worries me. And may mean that the federal contractor and federal employee mandates have a very slim chance too. I’m relieved to see the OSHA one blocked. This will destroy an already decimated health care industry. Maybe independent practices will start popping up again.

this is not quite so simple. Canada claims to be independent from America from a regulatory perspective, approving vaccines apparently independently and yet all our Public Health officials take WHO FDA and CDC statements at face value like gospel. This case merely decided whether OSHA has the authority to force private companies with 100 or more employees to impose vaccination requirements on their employees. Facilities that rely heavily on government funds are often considered state actors; which means that they are to be treated as though they were part of the government. If these facilities are considered state actors, then they are not affected by today's decision.

The only recourse, therefore, is to sue OSHA in some federal district court on the grounds that it does not have the authority to require government agencies. Regardless of the ruling in the district court, the loser will appeal to the appropriate circuit court for a ruling overturning the district court's holding. Finally, if the Supremes deem the issue worthy, they will take up the issue and render a final decision.

If SCOTUS rules that OSHA does not have the authority to impose vaccine mandates on government agencies, then we can celebrate because the mandate issue will have been completely disposed of; unless, of course, a later ruling out of SCOTUS holds otherwise.

What we really need to do is twist the arms of our elected officials in the state and federal legislatures so that they pass legislation that prohibits vaccine mandates wholesale... and then watch the issue go back to the court system for rulings on the constitutionality of said legislation. Government is not our friend.

Sue them for discrimination. The jab does nothing long-term, the jabbed can infect and become infected just like the unjabbed. So what is the employers argument for mandatory jabs? It can’t be safety- and no employer can force me to take a drug t without some public safety justification.

I do not see how it ends forced vaccinations. What it does, and Roberts and Kavanaugh should be massively ashamed of themselves (those are the public words I can say, I can not write the words I really want to say) is say that the Federal Government can FORCE pretty much ANYTHING on people if the Federal Government has a hand in paying for whatever it is. Experimental vaccines? No problem say Roberts and Kavanaugh, if the Feds pay for part of whatever it is you are doing. In the future, it will be the Health Care mandate that will prove to be VERY dangerous and much mor eimportant in eroding liberties.

You’re right. If we all eventually fall under federal health care where does that leave us in the future. Can Medicare impose vaccines in order to sign up for it? Geez, we’ve paid for it for everyone else for years. Now it’s our time, we might be fucked.

I have not had time to read it yet. Not sure how that changes anything. Just because the hospitals have been bought by Pfizer doesnt mean you do not do the right thing. And allowing the Federal Government to forcibly inject you with a still experimental vaccine-like substance is NOT the right thing to do, whether the hospitals take federal money or not. And it sets a VERY dangerous precedent. Not as dangerous as the OSHA rule would have (but that would have led to actual civil war), but dangerous nevertheless. More chipping at liberty. Chip chip chip. Kavanaugh is a disgrace.

It ashame for your loved ones. My nephew talks about being overworked at long term care facility because they have vaxx mandates. In short, he taking care of far more older folks than 2019. The standard of care has gone down significantly.

they were misinformed about kids in hospitals. sotomajor was quoted as saying 100,000 kids are in hospital with covid. Someone should give her fauci's tape where he admits that almost all of them are for other reasons in hospitals but they test positive for covid. CDC guidelines have it upside down and calculate hospitalization based on tests WITH covid instead of hospitalized BECAUSE of covid. so someone could be in hospital because of a broken leg but because it tests positive for covid is reported as a covid case.

Sadly healthcare workers are still effected by this decision.

I expected the OSHA block because it was a massive overreach and would have invited abuse of all kinds from the agencies. However, why didn't they also block it for healthcare workers? These workers were out there day after day from the beginning of the pandemic to now. They were repeatedly exposed and many have had the virus. Why mandate the vaccines now? It makes no sense.

California is not allowing unvaxxed nurses to work. However, they are FORCING vaxxed nurses with ACTIVE COVID INFECTIONS to pick-up those shifts. It's totally nuts!

Expand full comment

That’s a great case for a discrimination lawsuit. Further, the fact jabbed can transmit the disease as well as unjabbed - shows there is no scientific reason for an employer mandating it. The employer stating it’s for workplace safety no longer applies.

Expand full comment

It's not about COVID or health care at all. It's about control and power.

Expand full comment

Was that a case before them?

Expand full comment

It’s still on for Healthcare workers. Get ready for more nightmare staffing situations

Expand full comment

More healthcare facilities just need to go completely private. Stop taking any government money and you don't have to mandate the "vaccines."

My hospital's patient census at any one time is 60 percent medicare/medicaid. They would go under.

With Medicare and Medicaid they can't do that.

some serious repercussions I am bracing for with healthcare

Expand full comment

They kept the CMS mandate, as Roberts continues his activism an caring more about the fortunes of the court than the nation it serves. And the federal employee/contractor mandate is still out there.

Expand full comment

These healthcare workers need to start suing based on discrimination. The jabbed can still infect and become infected, so it’s no longer about public safety - it’s about personal choice.

1 down. At least 3 to go. What about the military? Federal contractors? Doctors and nurses?

Conservatives Thomas, Alito & Gorsuch concurring.

Commies Breyer, Sotomayor & Kagan dissenting.

Blue-Light Federalists Roberts, Kavanagh & Barrett remaining silent.

Healthcare workers mandate was upheld, sadly.

That is sad. When?

Expand full comment

And federal workers - that mandate still in effect, unfortunately.

Expand full comment

It's not killed but isn't it "stayed" by a Fed court at the moment? My employer at least seems to think so and is holding off on implementation pending outcome of that. One would hope it is on thin ice too at this point

The mandate for federal contractors is stayed but the one for direct employees is still in effect.

It has been turning in Europe for at least a week -- Macron, Johnson all back peddling. The Great Rest group (Davos) is now having simulation for financial collapse. The COVID scam is almost over (we of course in Canada will be the last given Trudeau owns part of Acuitas Pharma--every jab $) but don't think the Build Back Better crowd won't try their next "crisis "

Their next "crisis"? You mean the fake Marburg Virus pandemic?

Omicron was a sign from above.

Amen. On Inauguration Day, 2021, legal scholar Ron Coleman had a bunch of Leftist crazies posting stuff on his Twitter feed about how "we are in control now". An observant Jew, Mr. Coleman rightly observed "You idiots! GOD is in control!"

Nothing makes his words ring more true than Omicron.

Sadly, by the movement of Roberts, they let stand the healthcare mandate. This is going to go far to erode any quality of health care and is not supported by any more science than the OSHA mandate. Criminal, both, IMO.

I wonder which justices who voted against Biden in the private employer mandate turned around and voted FOR him on the health care workers. This split decision will wind up making things WORSE for quality health care.

So basically every healthcare facility of government run. We are already full blown socialist in that regard. If a healthcare facility can't make their own decisions, then they're not private...as my hospital claims

Kind of like how most airlines are considered govt contractors for carrying freight for the man

How long will it take the employers to be incentivized by Pfizer to mandate the failed and dangerous injections?

I really think that Pfizer is moving on to therapeutics. Their CEO made that pretty apparent the other day. Look for them to issue a statement blaming Trump for the failed vaccines by rushing them through the process.

I have a family member who is a very dedicated ICU nurse. She busted her tail working 100 hour weeks during the worst of COVID. She is now on the sidelines because she does not trust the vax. She is studying for her real estate license. A real loss to all of the patients out there.

This decision highlights that if you were to program a computer with every single point in the Constitution, fed this case into it, there wouldn't be these 6-3 decisions based on feelings. There is no ambiguity in the Constitution, as much as the left wants you to believe that to be true. This decision should have been 9-0, and while any victory is sweet, activist justices are destroying this country.

Yet another surreal moment and day on Terra Firma. I have been out of work since Aug 1 2020. Yeah, that's a long time. Ran out of severance pay. Ran out of unemployment. The state even tried to claw back money but I fought and won. FINALLY, after tons of applications etc a very large bank offered me a job. I chose the vax exemption. Just this afternoon after the great news I get a call from said mega large bank. Hey we were checking to see why you chose religious? I gave them my answer and mentioned the SCTOUS ruling and she goes I don't see how that is related? Umm. it has EVERYTHING to do with that. Now...even this job is in limbo. But I'm at peace because I NEVER not ONCE compromised my convictions.

Expand full comment

I’d avoid any non-religious talk when discussing exemptions. A business unfortunately has a legal right to require vax regardless of this decision on OSHA. Your Exemption can be rejected if they think it is a political objection rather than religious.

My company said that they are doing this because it is the right thing to do and that they were doing it regardless of government rule. Will be interested to see if they stick with that message. I have 56 more days. Best of luck. Or can I guess where you are and ask where tomorrow puts you on 14 days unpaid leave? Prayers for all of us in this situation! We should not be forced to take an unproven and experimental shot in order to keep our jobs.
