How refreshing Alex. You committed an innocent oversight and corrected the record promptly.

Yet another reason I consider the cost of this subscription one of the best $60 I've ever spent.

What is devastating to me is all the “private employers” (federal contractors) who are enforcing mandates on their own so they can “virtue signal” to the Buy-Den regime. Nothing is being done for thousands being forced to walk away from careers, even in states like South Carolina.

Small victories are better than none. For so long the judges have upheld all these draconian mandates. I think at least some judges are starting to wake up to the danger of all this authoritarianism.

Regardless of what mandates these puppets try to pass, we should be focusing on pivoting the conversation to how we're going to manage processing the massive numbers of executions we'll need to carry out in coming years.

When you add up all of the politicians, media personalities, public health officials, school board members, and self-annointed enforcers of covid lunacy, we could be talking about several million souls which will be sent to hell to meet their boss in coming years.

Don't let them dominate the conversation with talk of forced injections; ask them how they'll want to meet their maker: gallows, guillotine, firing squad, lethal injection (very appropriate), or maybe even gas chambers.

Still a win. Even permanent stays are never permanent, always subject to to reversal in the next higher court. The judicial system, like a glacier, moves slowly but inexorably.

You said it "temporarily blocked", which it did.

CNBC by contrast used "temporarily" in its headline about the nationwide block of the federal contracting vaccine mandate, even though NOWHERE in its story did it say that, or explain how, it is only "temporary".

The New York ruling today is good any way we look at it. All of the favorable rulings (orders) that have been rendered over the past two weeks are "temporary" (generally, injunctions). The only difference with the NY order is that the "stay" (or hold) is of relatively short duration. But, the CMS order, OSHA order -- and government contractor order -- are all, similarly, "temporary". All that means is that no action can be taken until the court is fully briefed, and then renders a final ruling. Which, in this case (I think) means a temporary restraining order. Which is a more affirmative prohibition against implementation. It is quite possibly that none of these will be "settled" until appealed up to the Supreme Court. Until then, stays, injunctions and restraining orders that stop implementation are good news.

I still don't get how so many nuts are getting away with mandating an EUA shot. Supposedly EUA products have to be taken voluntarily without coercion or consequence. What am I missing? Surely this has been addressed by some of the many lawsuits?

Fundamentally the issue isn’t mandates. The issue is ‘vaccines’. So long as this terminology is used, we lose. Big pharma has total immunity for vaccine harms. But they have no protection for creating a bioweapon which, under USA code and by their own definition, is what these injections are: gene modification therapies as a result of gain of function research. Look at Biontech’s SEC filing which clearly states that the injections are gene therapy. Therefore, Big pharma needs to be sued for harms compensation under the aegis of a bioweapon, not a vaccine or a mandate. Additionally see "Cruzan by Cruzan v. Director, Missouri Department of Health" SCOTUS In a 5-to-4 decision, the Court held that individuals enjoyed the right to refuse medical treatment under the Due Process Clause etc.

To get a temporary restraining order, you still must overcome a basic balancing test (likelihood of success on merits, threatened harm, and balance of hardships). Finally courts are beginning to recognize the irretrievable harm of forcing vax (cannot undo). This by itself should be enough for at least a TRO in every case and should substantially help on the preliminary injunction assessment.

The politicians trying to institute these kinds of mandates seem to be hunting for "cracks" in the legal dam. They know that all it takes is one judge to allow these mandates to continue for the dam to start breaking. Why else would a more than 100-year legal case (Jacobson) continue to be used by the "fact-checkers" as basis for these mandates?

I cannot believe DeBlasio is trying to mandate vaccines / passports for 5-11 year olds, private employers and private schools. Though I often wish I could turn back time to when my teens were little, I remind myself how thankful I am that they had a normal, happy, carefree childhood without masks and experimental shots. I most certainly would have homeschooled rather than subjecting them to this insanity. Thank God my kids are at a Catholic high school where they don’t have to wear masks! Very few cases - FYI.

Any Lawyers on here? When a private company is breaking its own ethics and data privacy policies in the collection, use and sharing of vax status, what kind of attorney would handle that case and what is it about this situation that prevents me from suing the company for discrimination when they are using vaccine status (AKA Medical Data), NOT being contagious, to keep me from entering a company office? Not to mention asking me to reveal my vax status on a public call when their own policy states that data is need to know and only shared with those that need to know.

Dude, great catch! True investigative journalism, though I’m now forced to face reality. At least Calamity Joe’s (you can quote me) mandate fubar has been recognized now by 4 judges, the last of which makes it a nationwide shutdown…for now anyways, bc the pathological prevaricator press sec (also quotable) assured the tabloid “journalist” crowd yesterday that the DOJ (laughable agency name at present) is “aggressively” pursuing overturning the ban. If the last 11 months has shown us anything, this crowd can’t aggressively pursue an aging tortoise so I suspect the court orders will stand until the SCOTUS rings the final death knell
