Alex, as weird and sometimes contradictory as you are, and although you pissed me off several times, you have my vote for most knowledgeable and articulate COVID/vax/plandemic commentator. I follow you like fans followed the Grateful Dead.

Expand full comment

Even more than fans, we are hear for different points of view to make up our own minds. Even Alex’s point when we don’t agree. It is what we ALL want on this platform. But the most important point is this is NOT over. I met with HR about the accommodations which are still forcing me to mask because I have an exemption. Not surprisingly,, they are not going to remove them, looks like I am going to have to test weekly at my own expense when cases are not putting people in the hospital or lose my job. Until their decision, I have to work at home and wear a mask with no mask mandates. This is the hill I will die on!! I want my freedom back and they plan to take it again, we can all bet on it!! We cannot let them do this EVER again!!

I bought the kindle version when it first came out but just ordered the hard cover. Because I no longer trust that they won’t wipe electronic forms like your book. So hard cover it is. Plus, it’s another way to say thank you, thank you, thank you for all that you’ve done and continue to do.

See Calibre and other tools like it. They help you organize and backup your ebooks. I use it for exactly the reason you mention above.

Expand full comment

It's really pathetic that we need to think about things like this.

Expand full comment

I need to do this, too. I am very lax about my ebooks. But, truly, books like Pandemia and the very recent Red-Handed, I buy in hardcopy. I can feel in my bones someone is going to decide to steal our personal libraries, so anything you ever want to see again must be in hardcopy.

Expand full comment

Thanks for sharing! I didn't know about this and will look into it.

Expand full comment

I did the same.

Expand full comment

Didn’t know it existed, I will check it out.

Just an idea: why not have everyone also request it from their local library, this way the local library buys a copy and maybe other random people will read the book as well.

Expand full comment

Library’s are liberal, they won’t carry this, too shocking for them as they line the shelves with this book in their double masks and shields.

Expand full comment

Great book, Alex. I'm looking forward to your next book, too. Sending you blessings. And prayers for your winning your (our!) lawsuit. You represent us, all of us, who value free speech and a free media ecosystem!

Expand full comment

Yeah!

Expand full comment

Got it a couple months ago and throughly enjoyed it!

Expand full comment

Why would I buy a book of someone who insults me from my politics?!! You are not gonna get the left to support you. At least don't insult us from not supporting Ukraine (nor Russia). You can disagree with us, just don't insult us, all we're asking. But you've done it over and over again I have no desire to buy your book or pay you monthly subscriptions to read your elaborate insults to us.

Expand full comment

Because someone you agree with 80% of the time is not your 20% enemy. Have you ever actually read a book? Did you know the author's politics, and where his/her politics in 100% alignment with yours?

Why would you buy a book of someone who insults you from your politics? Maybe because there's substantial value in that book, and maybe you need to put aside your delicate sensitivities so you can be open to legitimate information from a source you may otherwise not care to host in your home.

We have a mentally-deficient asshole POS American as (p)resident, in the process of destroying America because too many people couldn't abide mean tweets and so they threw out the baby with the bathwater.

Don't be like those people.

Expand full comment

You are completely missing the point. Most of my friends are actually people I disagree with politically 80% of the time. It's the way he does it, he calls people he disagrees with on the Ukraine conflict "dumb" and "stupid". It's the disrespect and the name calling I'm against, not the disagreement.

Expand full comment

I'm not missing anything. I specifically answered your question, "Why would I buy a book of someone who insults me from my politics?!!" starting my second paragraph, which *began* with me restating your question.

Your objection - because he insults you - is *exactly* the reason why we now have a brain-addled incompetent asshole in the White House, it's the reason why so many people voted against Trump.

They didn't disagree with America's resurgence; they couldn't stand his disrespectful and name-calling treatment of others. His mean tweets. So they cut their nose to spite their face, and now we have rampant inflation, $7/gal gas in places, a world spiraling out of control, all because those limp wrists couldn't divorce style from substance.

Could be the same with you. You won't enjoy the benefit of all Pandemia has to offer, because you don't like Alex's name-calling and disrespect. No different from the NTers who voted against Trump, and against their self-interest and against America's interest, because of mean tweets.

Expand full comment

Ok. But I'm just voting with my money. To your point, it should start with stopping name calling, and Alex still does that.

Expand full comment

I agree. His refusal to look closely at the abundant evidence of vote fraud in 2020, and his palpable contempt for those of us who, unlike he, *have* made compelling arguments supporting our position, does not redound to his benefit, shall we say. So yeah, I agree with you on that matter. But I still bought "Pandemia".

Expand full comment

I might buy it in one of those days, when he stops name calling. Again, I fully support his right to disagree with me, and I'm more than willing to listen to opinions that don't align with mine, but name calling is what ticked me off.

Expand full comment

The same is true with build back better. Lower prescription drugs and dental helps everyone out. Republicans didn't want it because biden.

Expand full comment

Then why didn't Biden and the Left present legislation ONLY regarding lowering prescription drugs and dental, since it would've "(helped) everyone out"?

Fact is, Biden and the Left wrote BBB knowing that there was far more bathwater than baby, but they know UIs like you would focus on the little stuff, as if the GOP should've passed ALL of BBB just to get prescriptions and dental.

You need to learn to look big-picture. Stop consuming mindlessly the mindless crap the alphabet legacy media feed you.

Expand full comment

What didn't you like in bbb? Be specific please.

Expand full comment

And btw, I am on the right. Against mandates and against lockdowns. Supported Trump. I also am against supporting either Ukraine or Russia in this, amainly because of the POS president motives in the Ukraine. Alex called me dumb for doing that and he wasn't rhe first one. Other people on the right did the same (a couple close friends who want to show American strength in this conflict completely forgetting who actually benefits). Name calling is not how someone wins me over. I used to support Alex with monthly subscriptions.

Expand full comment

When it comes to ALMOST EVERYTHING ELSE that Alex talks about… I think he is an asshole. But when it comes to the pandemic… I agree with him. That’s why I bought this book. Alex is a liberal moron about Ukraine and Dr. Malone. Not buying this book because of his stupidity on other topics is the same as never watching a Steven Spielberg movie because he is a liberal asshat. Sometimes you have to push yourself to rise above that so that you don’t miss out on something good.

Expand full comment

That's not the reason I'm not buying his book. I'm not buying it because he was very disrespectful to those who disagree with him without even making an effort to understand the point of view. He automatically assumed we support Putin.

It's called free thinking a 1st amendment rights that every American has from birth. Twitter the elite media want you brainwashed into the narrative of the choice of the day. And if you don't play nice and go with their narrative they will try and destroy you. Example Twitter the elite media believes that a woman with balls is superior to a woman. If you don't agree with Twitter the elite media they will ban you. Is this the world that you want to believe in when their are only 2 genders Male and female. By the way the book is great and makes a great gift for Easter 🐣

Grow the f up, will you? You don’t speak for me; I understand working on a project to the point of exhaustion. We have no idea what stresses, death threats, whatever, Alex and his family have had to live with in order to be able to produce this pandemic documentation you don’t think is important enough to have at hand. Well, I disagree with your “butthurt” attitude. Who cares what your mom or whoever feels about Russia v. Ukraine? You have your opinion, I have mine. For all we know, Alex could have received a bad medical test result. Believe me, we don’t understand his burdens without walking a mile in his moccasins, so can we show a little kindness?

Expand full comment

Are you modeling kindness with your message?

Expand full comment

Thank you, Catherine. I'm speaking for myself, not for anyone else, though I imagine others including Alex might agree with me.

As someone who considers herself progressive (at least what it used to mean back when it meant anti war and pro equality) I can tell you it's absolutely essential to read all points of view especially those you disagree with. It'll either strengthen or challenge your position. That's how we learn and think. :)

Expand full comment

I am the same way. There was a time in the distant past when I thought I was progressive. I value opinions that make me uncomfortable, but I hate it when someone is trying to win me over on an issue and insults me on the next. This is my main issue with Alex. If only he was respectful, I wouldn't have cared. He did it multiple times already.

Expand full comment

I read more of your comments and I get it. I'm a little stuck on the Ukrain Russia conflict because the question of involvement seems to ignore how involved the US has been since 2014. As Schiff said, we're fighting Russia over there so we won't have to fight them here. If this is and has been our proxy war then it's disingenuous to wonder "whether' we should be involved. I don't care what Alex says about people like me... I get called names from both sides. And both sides have their own Kool aid to sell. (Shrug) When both sides agree on war (like so often happens) I know to be extra skeptical.

Expand full comment

Fair points. I get your side too. I do however take what the establishment says about that conflict with few grains of salt. They don't have a good track record of telling the truth, not even an average track record. So there is that too.

Yazer: Then, why in the world are you on this site?! Just hanging around to read the truth once in awhile? That must be it. Or maybe you were hoping your name would come up in a discussion? It’s always amazing the number of readers here that complain and harass Alex for his opinion & intelligent, fact-filled information about current affairs. I don’t go on more liberal sites and insult them because I don’t agree. That’s WHY I don’t waste my time there. If I did visit, just for kicks and giggles, I certainly wouldn’t broadcast that I don’t agree. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not afraid to disagree or prove my point but why would I go on someone’s site that I would NEVER buy a book from, and post in the discussion that I would “ never buy..” WHY? I honestly don’t get it. Your response is just a waste of words. I guess it’s a free country still so you do you. Just saying when I read your words, it didn’t inspire me to take another look at my choice to buy “ Pandemia”. I have bought many copies & I think I will give one away in your honor. Maybe you did inspire me after all. You showed me who I never want to be. Thank you. ✌🏼

I agree with him on Covid stuff most of the time. I used to be a paying subscriber back when he didn't insult me for my politics. Now he's overdoing it. I don't want to cancel him, he needs to apologize and most of us here are pretty forgiving. I'm not saying he shouldn't express his opinions, but when you insult large portions of your audience, be ready to take some heat. Again, I'm not saying he has to fake agreement with us, he doesn't. Respectful disagreements never lead to rupture. Again, most of my friends and coworkers are leftists, and they all know I supported Trump, and never once I had issues with any of them. Respectful conversations can be very constructive and lead to positive change. Name calling does the opposite.

Expand full comment

We are waiting for his apology. We are waiting for him to get honest with himself. What he did disregarding ivermectin studies was criminal.

Expand full comment

What studies? Disregarding it’s effectiveness? You can’t throw the baby out with the bath water. Look at the mess we’re in dumping Trump because he was smart & effective President but lacking in Twitter etiquette. Big deal. One study doesn’t determine a bad drug. Alex knows that. Still, he won’t apologize until he faces the fact that Malone isn’t his enemy. Alex is his own worst enemy. But again, I think he knows that. Apologies are ok but a bit overrated. Actions speak a lot louder.

Expand full comment

Exactly

Expand full comment

Maybe he's a troll.

Expand full comment

Who is a troll? I get what you’re saying but waiting for an apology is like waiting for something that will never fill your cup & you’ll be left with an insatiable thirst for more. Right?! Is his apology sincere? You’ll question everything. Just cherry pick the facts and let the “insulting” political views go. That’s what mature, civilized people do. If you can’t do that then you have to stop asking. You can’t insult and reprimand someone for not apologizing because they insulted you, or a group. Alex isn’t going to apologize for his political views. Especially if this relates to him being Jewish. ( not practicing apparently but family is family) You can’t know what you don’t know and Alex doesn’t know how to handle certain subjects yet. It’s personal & personal is scary. Even for a best-selling author & reporter. 😊 Maybe have some Grace for him? Everyone gets their feelings hurt & insults are part of life. He doesn’t need advice on how NOT to exclude people because of political differences. He’s not running for office. Wait?! Are you saying you’re the troll? Ok, that makes sense now. ✌🏼

This article is not very convincing. Our country caused many elderly deaths by not allowing doctors to choose the ultimate care of the hospitalized. Not only did elderly people die needlessly, they died alone, due to hospitals not allowing visitors. Unethical & unconscionable protocols left hospital staff questioning this practice. This, in addition to being overworked, caused many to leave the medical field during this time.

Also, our children were used as guinea pigs during covid, as well. Do you think lockdowns & isolation weren’t equal or worse than forcing the children to be infected? I honestly don’t know what’s worse. We have children forever changed socially & otherwise, with negative consequences for years to come. We may never know the true cost of lockdowns & mandates. Increased domestic violence & child abuse is another side effect of U.S. covid mandates and lockdowns.

Sweden may not receive the “ perfect handling of Covid award”, but the U.S. will be a lot further down the list. How about China’s record keeping accuracy? ( not!)

That was a given. All countries have questions to be answered in their handling of this pandemic. I hope you keep searching for accurate news about Sweden & don’t simply rely on what the L.A. Times writes. If anything, this pandemic has made me more skeptical about everything.

Expand full comment

I am beginning to believe this Covid pandemic is a purposely released bioweapon. Whether released by China or Russia, makes no difference. We will not know the truth for at least ten years, if then.

Expand full comment

Truthfully the real bioweapon was purposely not repurposing drugs and treating early. People died from lack of early treatment or wrong treatment. People died because the doctors on the front line were muzzled and fired for sharing their success findings. The scariest part of all of this is how much mind control and media control killed.

Expand full comment

One Russian bioweapons scientist said he thought the greatest bioweapon ever would be a disease where the killshot was the vaccine. I am reminded how during the 1919 flu epidemic, thousands died from aspirin poisoning out of the mistaken belief that aspirin was the cure. "The motivation behind the improper use of aspirin is a cautionary tale, said author Karen Starko, MD. In 1918, physicians did not fully understand either the dosing or pharmacology of aspirin, yet they were willing to recommend it. Its use was promoted by the drug industry, endorsed by doctors wanting to “do something,” and accepted by families and institutions desperate for hope."
