The Pandemic’s Wrongest Man: an occasional series

Only five months ago, Christina Pagel - a British academic and lockdown/vaccine lover - wrote this in Science magazine:

Considerable protection against severe disease and death!

Boy howdy, that’s nice.

And the name of the magazine is Science, so it must be true. Science!

But now, alas, the Science has changed.

Here’s what Pagel wrote in today’s Guardian (a left-leaning British newspaper):

Wait. Did you say no immunity against infection OR severe disease OR death? In a matter of months?

That makes the vaccines sound almost… worthless.

Anyhoo. I mean, who could have predicted this?

This has been The Pandemic’s Wrongest Man, an occasional series.
