This was never about a virus. All of us folks who can think for ourselves have been saying this since March 2020. Hold the damned line people, the line is HERE and it is NOW. If you waiver in your courage, know there are millions who believe the same thing you do and all we need to do is stick together and hold the damned line. No masks, no vaccines, no anything except common sense along with eating healthy and exercising regularly. Hold the damned line, and if you waiver, watch some scenes from 300 and let those Spartans pump you up. We’re all gonna die one day, I want to hit the floor with my pride intact and fighting this evil until the end.

Julia, I'm 68 and had Covid last November; it was a cold with headache for me. I worked from home, cooked, cleaned, did laundry and ordered groceries online curbside pick up. After a week, I felt much better and had a lovely Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Julia, I'm with you! I'm sure you've had it already and just shook it off. The chances of you not being exposed yet are very very slim. And that's really good news, right?

I am sure everybody has been exposed many times. The more people hunker inside and not get exposed the more in peril they become. Today at a restaurant I saw many with masks on. This is especially with elderly. However, I saw hugs and many kisses by those without masks and those with masks. When you kiss a mask, what are you kissing?

I refused the vaccine after spending 100s of hrs educating myself. My hubby, cardiologist/geneticist took the Pfizer jab. We both got covid end of may2021. Similar symptoms. Well within a week. We both have exercised every day, for last 15 yrs. take D3, zinc, vit.C daily! I was never in fear of C19 bec. I knew of so many who had many Comorbidities, got early treatment with hydrocloroquine /zinc/zpack +. In 2020 In Haiti everyone was treated with HCQ cocktail as soon as tested positive & got out! In the meantime, in the texas Med center.. everyone in the hospital was dying with cdc/Fauci mandated protocol of remdesivir/ventilator! While publishing in lancet a fabricated study to keep docs from using HCQ! No one has asked who/what/why this fake study was signed by a “Harvard” professor not reviewed by lancet prior to publication! Who paid for this

“ international” fraud? When found out, lancet retracted but the deed was done! Now with IVM same story!

Sunlight dilates blood vessels:

“Weller’s doubts began around 2010, when he was researching nitric oxide, a molecule produced in the body that dilates blood vessels and lowers blood pressure. He discovered a previously unknown biological pathway by which the skin uses sunlight to make nitric oxide.

It was already well established that rates of high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, and overall mortality all rise the farther you get from the sunny equator, and they all rise in the darker months. Weller put two and two together and had what he calls his “eureka moment”: Could exposing skin to sunlight lower blood pressure?

Sure enough, when he exposed volunteers to the equivalent of 30 minutes of summer sunlight without sunscreen, their nitric oxide levels went up and their blood pressure went down. Because of its connection to heart disease and strokes, blood pressure is the leading cause of premature death and disease in the world, and the reduction was of a magnitude large enough to prevent millions of deaths on a global level.”

A lot of studies indicate a lot of people who think they have escaped getting covid, actually haven't. Apparently most people who get exposed handle it fine with normal immune response. Our bodies destroy the virus naturally, usually with no illness, or mild symptoms. The few who get sick seem to share a set of "co-morbid" conditions, mostly reversible.

My experience was a mild "flu" for a few days after returning home from a cross country trip, which I attributed to fatigue and jet lag. Three months later I needed a covid test as part of pre-op for a minor surgery, and I elected to get an antibody test at the same time. The PCR was negative covid, but I am positive for antibodies. My earlier malaise was my only experience less than 100% health, so I suspect it was covid. The statistics show that very few people get sick from what is alleged to be a highly contagious airborne virus. Either those few have unusually bad luck, or they're doing something wrong.

Arnold Palmer was accused of being lucky to win a tournament. He responded that the more he practiced, the luckier he got. Apparently most of us escape this routine virus unharmed on the strength of our normal immune health. It might be partly luck for some, but staying fit seems to greatly improve our luck.

A competent medical industry and honest government and press would be vigorously studying the chacteristics that make the few vulnerable while the vast majority are not. It's unlikely all those bureaucrats are incompetent, so the most likely cause is corruption. We'll find out eventually, and it will cause drastic changes in our medical practices.

Just normalizing one's Vitamin D level prevents severe Covid well above 95% of the time, and if your level is above 80, the sarscov2 virus is unlikely to be even detected. During the 1918 Spanish Flu a few hospitals cut the death rate in half by "sunning" patients when the weather permitted. Nature has the solution, but man thinks he is divine.

I honestly believe most General Practitioners, Family Doctors, even specialists like Internists know virtually nothing about nutrition and its effect on the body. After blood work they can read the results to you and tell you what needs improvement, but unless it affects a specific organ or bodily function, they don't seem to understand the "why". My Gastrointerologist tells me exactly what OTC supplements I need for my particular condition. Last visit she gave me prescription for Vit D because the supplements I was taking weren't raising my level enough. I asked her what, "What does Vitamin D do?" She gave me a kind of generic answer about overall health or something. I'm not sure SHE even knows what Vit D actually does 🤷🏻‍♀️

MDs know a lot less than we think they do. Maybe people would be terrified if they knew just how little the "experts" they rely on actually know.

MDs are like auto mechanics. They're good at their specialty. An engine mechanic is less knowledgeable about transmissions, so shops are organized around specialties. Docs too. The real problem is when specialists opine about topics outside their training, especially when those opinions are based on industry orthodoxy instead of research. Arrogance arises from the adulation often given them, and increases their confidence in incorrect opinions. Successful patients, like successful auto repair customers, need to understand enough to work cooperatively with their "mechanics." We're the boss, they're just employees. If we let them be the boss, our risk increases. We're more interested in our health than they are.

How? How are they not all dead?

And plenty of stuff works, even outside of the MSM bugaboos of ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine. Conventional respiratory disease treatments, with maybe a blood thinner thrown in due to the clotting issue associated with the covid antigen. Expand full comment

"not all that dangerous" ... sure if you go by % hurt by the shots.

I believe there is good reason to be cautious, though. Why do some people get heart inflammation and not others? Why do some get blood clots and not others? I'd like to know more about those 14k deaths in the VAERS system, too. Why did they die? What did the vaccine have to do with it? These are the types of questions I'd personally like answered before I get a new vaccine.

And, it just hasn't been studied long enough. Less than a year. Most vaccines go through years and years of clinical trials. What more might we learn in another year?

With the risk of a bad case of Covid being so low for me (young-ish, healthy here), there is no reason for me, and many people like me, to take the chance, however small it might be.

Thank you for the article. Excellent read. FYI: virus particles in nose/throat can be treated with daily rinses of nasal cavity and throat with iodine and water (1 drop of iodine to 6 ounces of water). Treatment approach is multifaceted.

I heard a term yesterday that's new to me but rings true. "The Medical Cartel".

If we can fast track the vaccine, why can't we fast track other treatments like Regeneron. Wouldn't that open up hospitals? The absurdity is no longer comical: now who's 'killing people' -- the unvaccinated or the 'adults in the room'.

In Florida, they are treating with therapeutics, maybe regeneron?

Expand full comment

Yes they are pushing regeneron in Iowa too.

This disconnect is what has me continuously floored in news coverage. Or in Uncle Joe’s plan for that matter. In one sentence, “the vaccines are working and you need to take it to be protected” and in a subsequent sentence “we have to protect the vaccinated.”

Why aren’t people seeing this inconsistency?!?!?! I know I’m preaching to the choir here but the inconsistency, irony, and utter cognitive disconnect cause almost physical pain.

This is what happens when you vaccinate people during a Pandemic. You place selective pressure on the virus, it mutates, you get a variant that the vaccines don't protect against. HMMM

I think a virus per history doesn’t depend on homo sapien roadblocks to motivate basic evolutionary behaviors. Our efforts may enhance speed and efficacy of alterations, but, life doesn’t depend on us alone.

Well friends, CA "voted" to keep Newsom. If he thought the recall was an indictment on his vaccination mandates, he'll likely be even more encouraged now in magnifying them.

It's rather interesting the article refers to "leaning on that latter success" (high vaccination) as the "success" metric vs. measuring the "outcome" (the reality) as the success metric.

See?

You can be successfully failing, and still succeeding!! That's science!! Good lord. How is how the country not seeing this?

Expand full comment

The country IS seeing it. Everyone on this page is seeing it. Thats about -- what -- 100,000 of us. Yes, there are 300 million people in the country. Do you think 100,000 people couldn't either convince millions more, or destroy them, using a war metaphor? In other words...you don't need a majority. You just need a critical mass. Millons of Californians voted against News. Tens of millions. More than live in some midwestern states, I bet. Always remember, Newsom (or any leader) is not the best and brightest. We are. The best and brightest don't work for the government. The best and the brightest are outside of the government.

I'm doing my part in my social circles, but most are vaccinated. So, they're committed. The ones who haven't vaccinated (including me) are already skeptical of the vaccine. Perhaps the "boosters" will uncork critical thinking in some of my friends.

You dont have to convince them whether the vaccine is a good idea, or not a good idea. You have to conivince them that segregation based on politicized health policies is a bad idea. You have to convince them that bullying people into submission is a bad idea. If you come to my used car lot weekend after weekend test driving cars and never buying and I finally say to you, Dude, you come here every weekend, we talk for hours, I give you the keys to the Land Rover, to the Jeep Wrangler, to the Dodge Ram and you never sign on the dotted line? What's wrong with you? You need to shit or get off the pot. Make up your mind. -- do you buy a car from me?

Agree JKenneth, that is what I am trying to get through to my state legislator but she is so thick, not getting it all. I feel like I am banging my head on a wall, she just thinks everyone should be jabbed otherwise we are all going to die, end of, to hell with our rights and the constitution.

My friends were all "vaccinated" in Feb-Mar....I am going to start reminding them that they are, for all intents and purposes, no longer immune from anything.

Best not to. Dont bully or humiliate them. It further divides. Let them figure it out for themselves. They may just end up getting the booster and telling you that boosters are a thing, ya know... then what do you say? Like the penguins in Madagascar -- its time to just smile and wave boys; just smile and wave...

This reminds me of Californians...

By careful design, we control not the final behavior, but the inclination to behave- the motives, the desires, the wishes. The curious thing is that in that case the question of freedom never arises. B. F. Skinner

Amen! California’s election results yesterday are the indictment of what this country is going to do throughout the other 49 states if people don’t rise up and at least say, “I’m done, if you want America to die, take your portion with you somewhere else, and when you realize that you have failed, don’t you dare come running to me to bail you out!“

Again, self-loathing masochistic uncaring behavior should never be tolerated, should never be negotiated, and God forbid it should be rewarded!…

A recent study showed that 50% of Covid hospitalized patients have minimal or no symptoms. Presumably they are in the hospital for something else but tested positive for covid.

As Drs. Peter Mccullough, Robert Malone, Vladimir Zelenko all say, using Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine can make a HUGE difference keeping ppl out of the hospital or getting very sick. Maybe NOW they will be forced to FINALLY listen to what the Drs. Recommend. Drs. Who have been SUCCESSFULLY treating patients from the start! If they don’t FINALLY listen, won’t it be OBVIOUS without question, they do not care about saving people?
