Alex! I am a US citizen and elderly. We (husband and I) have elected not to take vaccine. We continue to stay informed by reading your information and others. Keep it coming. Pertaining to this subject matter of the elderly being super afraid, I can testify that, in my circle, we are loners. Most have taken vaccine and are quick to admonish us for not taking it.

Same here! I am in my 60s and was diagnosed with a rare lung condition (on oxygen) before the virus but saw through this whole scam from the beginning. My neighbors are scared of me because I refuse to get the clot shot. There is info that this vaccine can cause pulmonary hypertension which is what I have! Why would I take something voluntarily that could make me worse???

Thank you, Alex, for your reporting from the beginning! I have followed you on Tucker and heard you on talk radio. Thank you for searching out the info and having the guts to publish it despite all the guff you take!

Exactly. Years ago, an oncologist desperately wanted me to sign up for clinical trial. So I listened not wanting to be rude. I asked him to tell me truthfully the side effects. He did. Yikes. I told him I had none of those conditions and thus why would I want to take a chance getting sick? He nodded. He said in order to stop your cancer. Can you guarantee that for me? Nope. I said thank you no. I made it about 25 years before another bout.

Same here; my husband and I are in our 70’s, not vaxxed, and I only have just a few friends who haven’t been vaxxed. So many other friends, neighbors and family telling us we need to get vaxxed.

Expand full comment

I am not vaxxed and not getting it, but I pressured my parents, in their 70’s to get it early. I gravely regret that. It slowed my Dad down a lot (and he wasn’t slowed down before the vaccine). I fear it impacted him negatively as his energy and oxygen levels remain suppressed all these months later. 💔😢

Around April of this year my kids (and their friends) were calling me and emailing and texting me begging me to get jabbed.

I am healthy and 71 and a retired RN. I do all the FLCCC preventative protocols and finally convinced everyone to leave me in peace when they had to admit that the worst number one adverse reaction of the jabs is death.

I convinced them to let me finish my life on my own terms.

Look at trying to find the supplement NAC for him. It may be hard to since the frigging FDA is trying to pull it off the shelves so I have been buying it every time I find it but I am reading a lot of studies showing that's helping the lungs for both covid and the shot's side effects.

I buy from nutricost.com. Those with COPD find it helps reduce mucus and coughing. Always used Amazon and had it delivered by subscription for many years - until the FDA scared them. The FDA wants to regulate NAC as a drug rather than a supplement. It's widely used in hospitals for acetaminophen overdose.

I also the same; i convinced my husband not to take it and my children have not although my son in law had one shot and thinks everything i say is crazy. He actually rolls his eyes and laughs if i give him a statistic and refutes everything no matter the facts shown to him. Friends who have run to take their 3rd shot tell my husband that he should do something about me because i will get everyone sick by continuing my ‘conspiracy theories’. It makes me actually very sad to hear and see this, how intelligent people have so bought into this and cannot see through it; it really baffles me and depresses me a lot.

Considering how leaky this is I don’t blame you!!!! At this point I’m shocked the focus isn’t on monoclonal antibodies and other early treatment. As much as people make fun of it, and it does make me laugh, I’m also encouraged things like providone-iodine nasal spray and gargling mouthwash actually appear to reduce viral replication early on in the nose snd throat.

It’s your choice. You are the ones who have to deal with the outcomes. Conveying data to people (honest data - not manipulated to support a narrative by misrepresenting the data) is fine. But passing moral judgement on the decisions of others in this case is just weird and based in ideology.

There was also a study done on xclear nasal spray and how it deactivates covid in the nasal cavity. We’ve used the product for a long time and I was surprised to see the study hanging on our pediatrician’s wall.

That is awesome that your pediatrician posted it!!!! We have like 8 bottles - and we added povidone-iodine to a bottle for each of us for after after attending crowded indoor events (we didn't put the iodine in the kids' bottles, just ours). I'm not necessarily trying to avoid the virus, but I'd like to reduce the viral load where possible.

Expand full comment

Our pediatrician is the best! He was in a big, local practice and all patients that weren’t fully vaxxed we’re getting kicked out. He left and opened his own practice. All of us followed and his practice has exploded. They have about 8 pediatricians now and completely support alternative treatments and supplements. I also just found out that two of the doctors in the practice are prescribing iver for kids with covid (if needed). We are very blessed. Quick question, I recently purchased a bottle of Lugol’s Iodine, would you add a drop of that to the bottle? And what exactly does that do?

Expand full comment

There is a formula for the iodine for nasal spray - I think 1/2 teaspoon for an Xlear bottle (look it up though to check me). It kills the virus in the nasal passages thereby reducing replication there. Mouth wash does the same for the throat. Check out Swiss Policy Research.

Expand full comment

My husband and I go to an integrative med practice that is also exploding too. We are hoping our pediatrician goes at some point - he is far better suited to that type of package than the one he is at, and we know his family well enough to know where they fall on all of that stuff. Child vaccine mandates for Covid may be what pushes him over the edge.

Never thought about it this way but his is the truth. My father in law who is accountant and a republican, is big supporter of the vaccine and the lockdowns. I can't believe it honestly. But he is 65 and close to being obese. So the virus is dangerous to him. And I guess he has a big fear of dying. Typical boomer. He has lived a great life and probably should focus on his grandson not growing up in a 1984/brave new world. But I guess he wants to keep playing golf and fish. Alex, I’m also from Australia, my wife and I are both health professionals, ages 75, and we won’t get the jab even though it will drastically curtail our lifestyle. We have travelled internationally every year. That is all gone unless a miracle happens.

The big problem is that most doctors, and mainly the young ones, have bought into this vaccination fiasco, even rushing to get their kids jabbed. They have no critical thinking; they operate based on protocols. As Dr Peter McCullough says, they are “in a trance”. They don’t even understand the basic science of virology. Ultimately, the only victims in this debacle are members of the public.

If I could leave Australia, I would do so in a heartbeat. This is not the country that I came to 41 years ago. The “lucky country” which was a term coined in a 1960’s book about Australia, is no more. Our luck has run out.

Strength in numbers is the only way to overcome this right now Ely. From our point of view in the USA it seems like the most success has come from the construction workers protesting. I listened to Joe Rogan interviewing Amanda Knox the other day. I thought it was interesting for a number of reasons but one thing stood out to me. They had a brief discussion about Covid and the vaccine and Knox commented about how vaccines just give you a small dose of a dead virus to induce an immune response. Rogan said "not this vaccine." And Knox was sort of stunned. She had no idea that this vaccine worked any differently than any other vaccine.

It wasn't until I heard her say that that it occurred to me that I bet MOST people think this vaccine is just like all the other vaccines that most of us have been given. So of course, it doesn't make sense to most people why so many others would resist taking the vaccine. Most people think that this vaccine is just as safe as all the vaccines most of us have taken our whole lives - and that it will stop the spread of the virus - just like the measles vaccine stops the spread of measles.

Once you understand that most of the public is so misled about this vaccine then you can understand their anger at the unvaccinated and the public's tolerance of things like vaccine passports and mandates.

Expand full comment

If you're correct and that is most people's understanding, then the next question a thinking person who is simply misinformed would ask: If my vaccine protects me, then why do I care if my neighbor isn't vaccinated? I've never had to worry about that before. Hmmm

Expand full comment

Well, first, most people don't think much about it. And if they do, there are all sorts of examples in the past where public health authorities insisted that everyone get vaccinated to protect those who can't get the vaccine. I remember that happening with measles a few years ago.

What is interesting is that the MMR vaccine does prevent most transmission - even though measles is the most contagious virus that we know of. What is also interesting is that the CDC lists a long list of people who shouldn't get the MMR shot:

People with allergies, pregnant women, people with weakened immune systems, people have a close relative with immune problems, people with any condition that causes them to bleed or bruise easily, people who have had a blood transfusion, people who have gotten other vaccines within a month, and anyone who "isn't feeling well."

Now here is the list of people who shouldn't get the Covid vaccine:

People who have had a severe allergic reaction to the specific ingredients in the vaccine.

Expand full comment

Yes, they don’t understand it’s genetic engineering. They also don’t understand what the spike protein does to your capillaries. News flash! Most doctors don’t either.

Expand full comment

I am not sure it is correct to call it genetic engineering. But one thing is for sure, we have never had a vaccine that told our own bodies to produce the toxin. There is little doubt that we cannot possibly know the long term consequences. Maybe everything will be fine. Who knows? Is that a gamble that you would take with your children?

Expand full comment

It is genetic engineering because the mRNA injections contain billions of Messenger RNA encased in a nanoparticle. In the body, the RNA is released then directs your DNA to produce the spike protein.

The other Covid vaccines are DNA based and get the body to produce the Messenger RNA which go into the ribosomes of the cells where the spike protein is produced. Either way it is genetic manipulation.

There is some evidence that some of the genetic components get integrated into one’s DNA. Normally with vaccines, the whole virus is killed (attenuated) and the body produces an immune response to that.

Expand full comment

Personally, I think manufacturing a non-natural spike protein is a good way to become variant factory. In a way, we all could be, but this seems dangerous.

Expand full comment

The measles vaccine doesn't work either. Doctors just call it other things like roseola.

We've been lied to about every disease in history and the medical response to it.

The difference between measles et al and covid is that doctors play the gatekeeping role in the diagnosis or testing of every other disease so it appears as though the vaccines for them work. That is, doctors typically refuse to diagnose or test for the disease if the patient is vaccinated - so the diseases just get renamed.

With covid - for the first time in history - patients decide if they get a test or not and the doctor gatekeeping role is minor (except in hospital).

That's why the data for covid has a strange phenomena whereby it looks as though it prevents hospitalizations but is useless at preventing cases.

In reality it prevents nothing - like every other vaccine.

Partly true. Smallpox, which had a fatality rate of 30% was greatly reduced by vaccination. The death rates from illnesses like measles diminished greatly during the 20th century before the vaccine was ever launched. Public health and sanitation has been the biggest difference.

Expand full comment

You want to be truly red pilled?

Do two things.

Look up "variola minor mortality rates" and then do an image search for monkeypox.

Smallpox absolutely did not have a 30 percent mortality rate. Its mortality rate was whatever doctors wanted it to be depending on which narrative they were going for.

The 30 percent figure was used for arguing in front of judges to justify compulsory vaccination. The 1 percent figure (blamed on a made up notion of two types of smallpox (remember it's not like they had laboratory testing in the 19th century)) was used to explain away real world cases of villages/towns having "outbreaks" of smallpox with zero fatalities.

You're right about mortality from measles, pertussis etc falling (according to official data) before their vaccines but it's even worse than that because the official data doesn't account for the fact the diseases have been renamed since their vaccines.

Watched this video this morning. It is the truth about the virus.

https://www.theepochtimes.com/dr-jay-bhattacharya-on-vaccine-mandates-herd-immunity-and-why-zero-covid-19-is-impossible_4022117.html

The mainstream media is acting as the propaganda arm of the government/Democrat Party. Fortunately it is still possible to get accurate information via the Internet. It is possible to go around the Big Tech companies that are doing what they can to suppress discussion and information sharing. Thankfully content producers and providers, and investigators such as Alex Berenson are able to create their own platforms to get the information out.

I try to stay informed. It is frightening to realize how the LIE quickly permeates the public consciousness and crowds out any consideration for TRUTH or even skepticism.

There is a reason that many people who subscribe to your Substack feed are not particularly interested in the origins of the virus. It is because many/most of us believe the virus escaped from the Wuhan Virology Lab. Many of us believe Dr. Fauci authorized the research at the Wuhan Lab and found a way to fund it directly through the NIH budget and possibly with grants as well.

Naomi Wolf was interviewed by Tucker Carlson on Foxnation.com. She described how her husband, an investigator, discovered primary source material that the original gain of function research began at UNC. When it became public, it was moved to Wuhan because that kind of research is illegal in the USA.

Naomi,I agree with you about interest in the origins of the Wuhan virus.I think most of us on this Substack believe we already know exactly who, what, where, when and how as to the Wuhan virus and the pandemic as you succinctly stated, and furthermore, that no definitive inquiry into it is going to be completed anytime soon, and therefore, better to concentrate on vaccine mandates and so forth…

“Our Father who art in heaven…”

The weekend before St. Patrick’s Day this year, our father (to me and my 4 siblings, all in our late 50’s - early 60’s, who are not ‘anti-vaxxers’ in general, only to this EUA madness and rush to judgement vaccination government protocol) received the 2nd dose of Moderna mRNA shot.

He was 87yrs strong and from my understanding the second jab is the more ‘toxic’ shot than the first. After the first shot in the arm he had relatively no side effects, other than a soreness around the injection site of his arm and he slept quite a bit more afterward.

Approximately one week before his second shot, he scheduled a physical exam with his doctor just to be sure he was in good health to receive the 2nd shot. Doc gave him a clean bill of health and approval to get the jab.

He rec’d his 2nd shot on a Saturday and on the following Monday a picture came to my phone... something did not look right with his eyes, the iris and pupil were very dark and hard to differentiate, almost as if they had congealed and blended. It was strange and I discerned a not-so- healthy disposition in his facial appearance. But, putting the thot aside, I reasoned that perhaps it was a bad picture day and did not think much more of it. Only to purpose and get to him sooner than later for a visit. So I cleared my schedule to make a visit on Weds, St Pat’s Day.

He was fine! The clarity in his eyes came back, his appearance was good and he stated he was feeling well, other than the soreness in the arm and more sleepish-ness than normal. He even gave us a limerick that my sweetheart dutifully captured on video that fine day for the family to enjoy.

Dad loved a good limerick and would repeat it as many times as he would be asked if it still carried a hint of interest or laughter, even from the most cynical crowd. He was always presenting humor within our fragmented family and gatherings just to feather the edges of discord or make light of a particularly uncomfortable conversation.

An avid WWII History buff, most everyone gained from his ability to blend humor into social circles just to keep conversations from going to the outer fringes of bullshit. He was an artist in this way and we all loved him for it…but I digress.

The following Monday morning the call that you don’t want to receive, came... “Your father has passed. He was found in the bathroom, apparently having been in the midst of throwing-up early in the AM.”

Prior to removing his body, my brother pulled back the sheet to observe dad and quickly recovered his face. He turned to me and said, “If you have a good memory of Dad, you don’t want to look!”

We all know dead bodies are not for the faint of heart or feeble-minded to observe (of which I am neither and maintain a fairly strong stomach for such images) in general. No one else in the room held their curiosity after that statement!

My brother told us sib’s later that of the few deaths he has been present to observe, this was by far the most haunting to him.

I believe with every fiber of my being that this 2nd shot killed Dad. Both the first responder EMT’s and the physician of record stated that an autopsy was not warranted! That the cause of death was most likely related to a cardio-pulmonary event while heaving in the bathroom… even in the middle of a pandemic and being within the incubation period of 7-10 days for the spike protein to work its magic in the body after the jab. No autopsy required unless their is suspicion of foul play!

Foul play, foul play… Should we not be paying closer attention to effects of morbidity especially within several days of receiving a very contradictory vaccine? Have our checks and balances on medical procedures gone full-tilt!?

Officially we will never know IF the mother-of-all-jabs wreaked havoc within his body and vital organs.

We will never know the actual cause of death and whether the vaccine had anything to do with it. This will be recorded as a foreseeable and normal expiration by virtue of age… wow!

Have we lost all sense to the sacred essence of life? Good lord, where are we headed!?

“… hallowed be thy name.”

I am so sorry for your loss of your wonderful father. I had a similar experience with my 95 year old mom. She was incredibly sharp but had understandable health issues at that age. Her caregivers and my husband and I all thought she'd make it past 100. I begged her to consider getting double vaxxed. Or at least wait until the CA lockdown was relaxed enough so I could be with her. But my mom was a very strong willed old-school liberal and she thought getting vaxxed was the right thing to do so we could all return to normal. She did it believing Fauci and believing it was her duty and for that I'll never forgive these liars. No problem with the first shot except a sore arm. A few days after the second shot she called me at 4 am to tell me she'd become disoriented, fallen out of bed and gashed herself and lost a lot of blood. That wasn't like my mom. She passed away in July. I hate these people who fed my mom lies. I hate them for not telling her the dangers. I hate them when they tell me she was 95 anyway - she was my mom, not their experimental property. I've grieved and raged for the last two months.

I even stayed up all night refreshing websites to get him on a list, God help me. First shot, he slept a lot after and insisted he was fine. He wasn't. Second shot, he was so weak before, still suffering from the first shot. I had to hold him up. Now he's at the stage, where, if he falls, he can't get up--at all. We're having handholds put up, etc. but I am so angry and am horrified that people will start talking him into the third doomshot.

This was another topic that I wanted to mention for Alex to cover here, the protests against any & all mandates in other countries. I have been seeing from other sources that protests have been going on in France for 2 months every weekend and they don't get covered. Also, many other European countries have been holding mandate protests with only scant coverage via social media folks who have access to videos and sizes of the protesting crowds. We in the U.S. need to know that people are standing up all over the world and the world is trying to squash them. We may turn out the same way if people don't stand firm.

Expand full comment

As you note, France has been roiled with massive country-wide protests against lockdowns and then mandates for months ( when I told a friend she airily dismissed this news because the French "protests as a way of life.) They have also been frequent in Germany, Italy, and the UK. Protests are attended by hundreds of thousands. There were numerous protests this past week in NYC--and even in Kuwait (!). Even a few in Canada, intermittently, over the past year. I haven't paid much attention to corporate media since 2016, ever since the local news starting having a cultish political "specialist" tell the audience what to think about the previous president every night, cutting into worthwhile reporting on local crime, infrastructure, legislation, etc. At that point I started getting all news online, largely from the independents. There is plenty of legitimate information on social media, though the censorship campaign across all platforms continues apace. Let's not forget that if you cannot observe the facts, you cannot orient yourself properly in order to make decisions and take meaningful action. To whose advantage is it to keep people frightened, ignorant, and confused?

Expand full comment

Yes I agree, and mostly use people I trust on social media (which gets more difficult when they are banned), mainstream news I have not viewed for a couple of years at least. Per your question, I can only think it is to the government advantage, but to what end? Control the people? But why using a virus?

In so far as gov't is a part of rentier society, yes. Global capitalists have been intent on diminishing national sovereignty as concept and practice since the world wars and have made headway (e.g., the professional managerial class earnestly believes in the "global citizen" as a lofty ideal that counters all that is rooted in tradition and "small minded" local matters). Note also that global trade rules take precedence over local and national law.

The steady cultural factor is the rise of what Dmitry Orlov (not the hockey player) calls the "technosphere," which is savagely opposed to the "biosphere." Above all the technosphere hates nature and its manifestation in the human family. It must divide and atomize in order to dominate. Italian philosopher Giorgio Agamben has for decades warned of the rise of a endless state of "exception" in service of "bare life," characterized by one State-declared emergency after another (wars on drugs, terror, climate change, and yes, diseases.) If you want to live you must obey the emergency rules. All these emergencies are premised on widespread fear propagated by the corporate media and fear is easily spread when several generations have been indoctrinated in obedience to the collective will--as expressed through the corporate media!

All hubris. The panic of the political class is palpable as they sense their looming irrelevance in the face of the disasters they have created. Time and nature are implacable authorities and this is the good news. The pain may be brief or it may be long, but the lessons will be learned once again--and at scale.

Agreed and if only more could see those protests more people would feel brave enough to do the same. I hope more do it here because United States has often lead the way but we are quickly losing all we’ve stood for. I often wish there would be billboards off the freeway showing snippets of what’s actually going on in the world (like those stupid sayings we often see on the signs while trying to drive). It would soon be not allowed for long, but it could still be far reaching.

Although the origins are important, I think we all know where it came from and how Fauci and company provided the funding. Whether it was released purposefully or accidentally is less important than the end result. I’m 66, my wife is 65. No vax for us. Never. In late January 2020 I emailed my 95 year old father who asked me my opinion on the “China virus.” My answer was short and sweet. “Dad, I smell a rat.” There are millions of us who knew from the very first moment that something was off. My wife got very sick in January 2020. Day 4 with her temp at 104 and O2 at 94 we went to ER. They tested for flu, strep, and a few other things. All negative. They wanted to keep her overnight. Instead we asked for IV fluids and some low flow nasal cannula. Took her home after 4 hours, during which time I did some research. Put her on D, C, zinc and Quercetin. It took 10 more days to totally get rid of the fever and another two weeks to recover. 18 months later she still has issues with her voice. Otherwise she’s fine. There is no doubt in our minds, or her doctors, that she had it. Long before it became a “thing.”

Three days before she became ill we had spent a day at an aquarium in NC. Visiting the aquarium that day were two bus loads of tourists. From China. Go figure.

Keep up the great work.

As an Australian, living in Australia, I can confirm that your Australian reader is spot on with his report. I've elderly parents who saturate themselves in the mainstream media that is continually spewing out the propaganda with completely distorted reporting on protests (if they do at all), no mention of anything hopeful happening overseas, nothing about vaccine injuries, actually not much other news at all except to push the vaccine rollout.

However, even my parents and their network of friends, in their 80s and not plugged into alternative news sources, are starting to wonder what the hell is going on and questioning the narrative.

I am, however, plugged into what can only be described as an underground network of "rebels" who ignore mainstream media and share stories from health, legal, emergency service, and government professionals who are telling it as it is - almost like a parallel culture/society. I don't know how big this network is as, from my perspective, we are like "cells" of people all connected to other cells in a vast decentralized network. Is the network big enough to make a change politically? No idea. But I do know there are pockets of this underground resistance (that's what it feels like) that are very well organised, have a groundswell of support, and they give me hope.

If it is true that mass vaccinations are fueling more virulent variants, things will get much worse. For many this seems illogical. It would seem putting pressure on virus would be a good thing, but not with leaky vaccine which apparently few understand. This is not a polio vaccine. The vaccine is weak, meaning virus can mutate and resist vaccine which is what we will continue to see. Also vaccine like flu vaccine just protects a short time. I am seriously bothered by quick rise of cases right after vaccinations. Seem to happen over and over again. Leads me to think that person’s immune system has been weakened, altered, to allow virus to easily invade cells. Also scientist says sequencing combination never seen before suggesting lab tweaking has made this virus act differently.

My point is the virus is going nowhere. Whether a person is vaccinated or unvaccinated, the virus will resist vaccines and infect those not already infected. It is crazy to think all of us have not come in contact with virus many times. Our immune system did its job. We have not cured the common cold, flu and this COVD will not be cured either.

Family members of mine are all vaccinated and terrified. I had to step away from family. Too toxic. Sad. Not surprised. A best friend from when I was a young girl is equally nuts now. She loved Cuomo. I had to let her go. I warned her about Biden. She loved him. Another obese man I know, again a republican, loves Biden. He was a cop. Terrified of dying but smokes and over eats and talks non stop about poor health.

Yes the boomers are terrified of dying. When I tell people we all have cancer cells, they do not believe. They hate that I did not do,chemo, radiation drugs, etc. Boomers love their pills and yes big pharma. My oncologist said people my age, 69, take at least 7 drugs a day. See the dependency.

I see now that Pfizer is developing pill like horse paste to treat virus. Hmmm. They can charge a lot more. Call it a different name. Same stuff.

Up until this pandemic, I was afraid of dying too. But what is infinitely more terrifying is living in a police state where am not allowed to think and act for myself. That's not a life I want for myself or anyone who comes after me. Screw Cuomo, and Biden every single last one of them. I will not comply. Not now, not ever. They'd have to kill me. All of a sudden death isn't that scary after all.

I love going on Twitter and reading how vaccinated people believe they are protected. None have any idea these vaccines are leaky vaccines. Most think the two jabs will protect them for life. The idea the vaccinated may be the spreaders is a thought they never had. They concede the old and ill may need a booster. Now we find out booster is same as first two jabs? So variant has changed supposedly, but vaccine not reformulated to address variant change? Vaccinated believe variants so similar no need to change vaccine. How come that does not apply to flu vaccines that are different every year?

wow! good for you! that's a story you rarely hear, because most people are not strong enough to argue with their doctors. they usually never go to the doctor until it's "too late" and thus get no treatment, or they go early and get every kind of treatment possible. I read about the history of cancer "treatments" and I was not impressed, to say the least. It's barbaric. Does your cancer keep going back?

Cancer is determined to have come back based on symptoms then PET scan. So swollen lymph nodes in neck is a big one. Pain in the back suggesting the cancer traveled to bones. Breast cancer is a traveling cancer through blood or lymph nodes. People always wonder how a person can die with cancer in a breast. Well they do not. It traveled which is common. My cancers were both primaries. So supposedly unrelated to each other. Also you can have mixed types of breast cancer which happened to me. For most breast cancer patients fear is a reoccurring cancer that has traveled to brain or bones. My cancer is supposedly an aggressive form meaning it replicates quickly.

The reason the “vaccine” is leaky is because it is only targeting one antigen of the virus—the spije protein—not the whole virus. That makes it easier for a hardier strain—of which there are multiple ones, to adapt and then it’s off to the races.
