I'm feeling pretty vindicated for taking my kids out of school the minute they tried to teach them on Zoom.

Damage to schools is extensive and sadly the hardest hit are the minority schools. The universities are a horror show as well, demanding maximum jabs for the safest population from the ChiCom virus on the planet.

Just an utter embarrassment.

Where is the regret on masking children? An equally grave sin.

My daughter is a teacher. She was hired during the pandemic, and she saw first hand how our children were left behind, and she has seen the effects it has had on them ever since. But she, like many others, did not want in school learning to stop, so you can’t lump them all together. This country has an even bigger problem, good teachers don’t want to teach anymore, the pay and crap they have to put up with isn’t worth it anymore.

If that's the state of knowledge among college-degreed teachers, I'd prefer my kids being taught by farmers with common sense. At least they know up from down.

Everything wrong with American Unions summed up in the joke of a human being named Randi Weingarten. Look at our cost per student and compare to test scores / ability to function as an adult. D.C. and other DNC run cities set the pace for bad performance. No one in the private sector could survive such a job performance review. No one. Yet these shit for brain "Educators" keep on growing in numbers and impact to our society. Chicago teachers work the fewest hours / days of any union teachers in America. How's that working out for those students and their families? We need the ability to take our school tax dollars and spend them as we please on private schools. I paid double sending my daughter to private Christian school where she graduated with honors and is now in a top medical school. Still paying local school taxes for a district with 74% graduation rate and 58% passing test scores. WTF is wrong with people? Anyone voting for the DNC cabal should be horse whipped. Idiots.

So we don’t even have to go out of our own country to understand that these kids could have been in school and should have been in school!

The worst part of the response to Covid in this country was that it punished children to assuage the so often neurotic fears of their elders.

I was an elementary school teacher for 15 years and every year I got between three and five respiratory viral infections, that’s just part of the job. This disgusting scam has got to come to an end at some point the population will have to realize that possibly 1 million Americans have already died from the vaccine and it will be millions more. The big problem is when people realize that the pharmacist, the pediatrician, the hospital, and Walgreens killed their children will it destabilize our society?

I disagree, they just shouldn't apologize, they should be sued by the parents, and, when found civillly liable, be made to pay damages. And that fear of civil litigation should be making those lizards crawl under a rock and disappear forever.

My daughters reading levels are way behind. It is a travesty and they were robbed by the complacent American public that were duped and did not bother to understand the data which was already clear in Q1’20. This was no Spanish Flu. This generation of children will need to be owed something for this recklessness.

The schools were also receiving big federal funds for pushing the masks and vaccines.

A family member of mine was constantly being pressured to take the shots. She’s a teacher in a public charter school. She resisted because she saw so many of her colleagues getting sick after taking the shots. I was bombarding her with material but I don’t think she believed me then.

She was worked to death and made to teach live and virtual at the same time.

I sent my four daughters to private schools, since preschool.

I've noticed that these days, most teachers suck. The good ones are few and far between. This is true in the 9 years I've had two kids in elementary school and it applies whether it's public or private. And the leaders (principals, presidents), are weak-kneed imbeciles afraid of their own shadows.

I have been surrounded by some terrified teachers these past two years, and Covid propaganda outlets like the NYT and CNN are largely to blame. Teachers who I know have taken every injection they were told to take remain the most afraid. Many were still masking at the end of this school year. I, though, have not taken the gene-jab, and I wore a fake mesh mask until my school dropped the mandate. Not only am I still alive, as evidenced by my typing this right now, but I haven't missed a single day because I got sick. My vaccinated colleagues, though, missed many: they missed days because of vaccine side-effects, and then they missed days, after being vaccinated, because they caught Covid and were ill.

By the way, my school did not renew my contract because I spoke out against the mask mandate and because I taught my students to think critically about the narrative. But, hey, at least I still have my health - and some self-respect:

As a retired teacher of 30 years “in the system” my heart aches for the great teachers and kids who have been and are being victimized. There are good and bad in all professions. But I must say, from the perspective of 65+, that most of the younger teachers were not really teachers but database supervisors and busy work assigners. I retired in 2017 and could not wait to ‘get out’ and those who were in their 50’s were jealous that I was ‘getting out’. The kids did not want to learn, they don’t want to read, they want to turn libraries into phone lounges.

Our entire society has been changed in a generation by individuals with nefarious designs. You start in pre k and work your way up and then you attack full force. That is where we are at.

She was smack in the middle of the worst of it. We were both nervous and horrified about what was going on. But, as the saying goes, we had to sack up and continue on. If we refused to go-to work because of our fear, we would have been fired! What makes teachers so fuckin special? They should have been fired for refusing to go-to work because of their fear. I applaud the teachers that did fight to get back to work, the ones that had a spine and did not let fear dominate their lives. I know a few. The teachers union should be dismantled. From what I can tell, the union does more harm than good.

A whole article could be written in response. These uninformed teachers don't know that their profession is the safest profession out there because kids, at least vaccine free kids, pose no threat to them. But how about concern for our children that because of the lock downs and completely useless masks suffered mental anguish, depression, self-mutilation, (cutting) suicide ideation, arrested development particularly in the area of speech and communication, all kinds of behavioral problems as a result to come, fallen behind educationally, and shortened life spans to name a few. These teachers were duped by fear hustling and were concerned first for themselves. Lock downs, useless mask wearing and remote learning were implemented to protect them and very little if any thought, if any, was given to how this might affect our nation's children who will suffer from the effects of these immoral policies for the foreseeable future. This is the kind of thing secularism delivers when the circumstances are such as they are and this stems from a view that 1. Does not value children as our most precious resources 2. Does not view them as those with inherent worth as miracles made in the image of God and 3. For the most part, "God is in none of their thoughts." Psalm 10:4b

I had the worst job in America in 2020, a large school district superintendent. It was hell every day. The barrage of emails and comments were relentless. Our board meetings would last for ten or more hours. Half the parents were convinced it was my fault their kids were depressed at home and the other half were convinced if I made them come to school they would die and kill grandma in the process. I can vouch that teachers went insane. We had a zoom meeting in the fall of 2020 about expanding our reopening and I had teachers weeping and crying to parents that we were asking them to die (but they still shopped at Costco and went to the beach). I never wanted to close school in March 2020 and knew in my heart and brain it was a mistake. The week after we were forced to close our schools I sat with my executive assistant in an empty building and said, "in the end, it was pretty easy to close, but I think it is going to be really hard to reopen." Then in May we added some more stress...

It’s the teachers unions

They are so powerful they destroyed an entire generation of our children just to promote fear and force conformity.

In my state (California) it was so bad that we had to switch our kid’s schools 2 times to keep her in in-person learning. No sooner than we found each small parochial school that allowed in person learning the Governor and state and county school superintendent would swoop in and shut it down forcing everyone to wear masks, remote learn, and even tried to force vaccinate our kids! It was awful.

***NOTE: EXCEPT FOR THE GOVERNOR’s children and big tech executives children of course…they didn’t have to put up with any of this for a second!

These bastards will win re-election here in California I know it. Meanwhile at least 10 personal friends and over 10 business clients have fled the state in just the last 2 years alone.

The silver lining of this pandemic was pulling my kids out of government schools. It became clear by May of 2020 that our schools wouldn't reopen in the fall. We found a classical charter school that had the attitude "we won't close unless forced." And we stayed open, in person, face to face for a bumpy ride the entirety of the 2020-2021 school year.

I was talking to my daughter's teacher the other day. I asked her about some of the behavior issues that public schools are now seeing. She said that our school isn't seeing issues on the scale of public schools. The biggest issue she sees is that the pandemic seems to have slowed down the maturation of some of the middle school ages kids (it's a k-12 school).

I wish ONE mainstream media report on Sweden's Covid response would at least identify the ages of this country's Covid victims. Last I looked, 90 percent of the citizens who died with or from Covid were over the age of 75. The average age of a "Covid victim" was 83. The second largest age cohort of victims was "90 and over." At one point a year into the pandemic, there had been zero children in Sweden who had died FROM Covid. Basically, the people in Sweden who might have died from Covid had almost all lived longer than the life expectancy in this country. Excess mortality in those under 40 was/is non-existent.
