Geez Alex, do you think the ink has even dried yet? Lol

You mean announcing the purchase of a company does not automatically propagate a bunch of code changes through the entire infrastructure?

Hopefully Elon Musk will foster Alex’s triumphant return to Twitter following Alex’s historic and wholly unfair forced retirement from the platform.

Alex has been right on much, but dead wrong on Ivermectin, early treatment in general, and long covid as well. Too many people I know have had it, and the fact the spike remains in the blood for so long explains it. (Dr. Peter McCullough. )

He has missed much, too much, and is therefore suspect, in my book.

Needs an education from Dr.s Pierre Kory and Tess Lawrie, and Peter McCullough, for sure.

I always get concerned when someone tells a lot of truth, but then mixes in a "whopper!" All that truth makes the gullible trust them, and then they swallow the big lie without a thought.

Maybe he just wants his old life back and is playing ball?

JAT.

Expand full comment

Alex has the integrity to admit when his first take was inaccurate and corrects himself. Early studies showed clinical benefits of a variety of medications, including Ivermectin, to different stages of covid. He reported study results from the Cleveland, Henry Ford, and Mayo clinics…. He was right to report the results of their studies, and I can’t see holding him responsible for the conclusions of well intentioned scientists that ultimately didn’t hold up.

Compared to Fauci, he is a modern day Einstein.

Expand full comment

I must have missed it. Exactly when did he acknowledge the efficacy of Invermectin?

I was shocked to see the same LewRockwell.com that features Alex trot out the old " Animal Medicine" nonsense just today.

Expand full comment

I don’t think he did.

Expand full comment

That’s why we read multiple authors to gain multiple perspectives. No one is right all the time. CEOs are lucky to be correct 40% of the time when making business decisions. And they normally have much more “expert” information available to them. Has Alex made some gaffes? Sure. Castigate him for it online? OK. Free speech allows that. Go sit down with the guy, drink beer together, and then let’s get your final decision. I’m still in.

It's still theoretically possible shareholders could reject it. As such and other complications it is hoped and expected to be finalized before the end of the year, but not necessarilybefore mid terms.

Expand full comment

As a shareholder, I can guarantee that the offer will not be rejected. In fact, the deal is not even going to shareholders for a vote. Twitter has no choice but to accept this offer. The "poison pill" was a speed bump to see if anyone could counter offer.

Expand full comment

Which is why I said " theoretically, but thanks for an inside perspective.

The main point is mergers don't move with lightning speed and it isn't going to be concluded anytime " soon" and surely not ' in a few days".

Expand full comment

Exactly. After the offer is accepted there's still a lot to do before actual full control is transferred. I believe in the new they said the transitionary period could be several months. What does happen immediately as we saw is a kind of lock-down so as to prevent any pirated actions by employees unhappy with the sale.

Expand full comment

It will be interesting to see what happens next, when it's finally approved, and what new free speech policies are put in. I'm awaiting the left wing meltdown later in the day. Amazing how some who claim to want "tolerance" and an "open mind" want to just cancel and censor.

Expand full comment

I do wish people would use clearer terminology.

The 'left' until a few decades ago was strongly pro-free speech. Most people of that age still are. See, e.g. the UK site www.LeftLockdownSceptics.com.

Therefore, don't say 'left'; say 'authoritarian' or 'totalitarian'. That's what they are. The powers that be have done an excellent 'divide and rule' job, though, by making this debate so confused. I think it's deliberate.

Expand full comment

The “progressives,” if you will, have been shutting down speech since the ‘90’s. And the Lefties I know are thrilled that Trump has been banned from Twitter because they believe it’s all for the greater good. (They get to determine what’s good for us all.) So progressives, leftists, autocrats, all birds of a feather.

Expand full comment

Good point; somehow it seems though in recent times, many who follow a left-wing ideology have embraced authortairanism. It's odd and chilling; for instance who in their right mind actually enjoys walking about in a face covering all day? Or being locked in their home? At what point did we lose the ability to argue and why does it seem more on the left want to just shut up the other side and censor? Crazy.

Elon Musk came up with the best definition of censorship I've seen ... or of real "free speech" - if someone you don't like can post something you don't agree with ... then we have real free speech. I'm also a freelance journalist, but without the audience of Alex. Several of my contrarian Covid articles have been posted at uncoverDC.com. As it turns out the founder and publisher of this site (Tracy Beanz) has also been banned from tweeting. I think she was banned about the same time Trump was. Well, nobody seems to care about some "right-wing kook site" being banned by Twitter ... except for me, a struggling freelance journalist who couldn't get his articles published anywhere else. Tracy Beanz used her Twitter feed to run excerpts of my articles and hopefully get more people to read my articles. I don't think any of these articles included "misinformation." Several giving evidence of likely "early spread" of this virus were pretty important in my opinion. Anyway, when someone like Tracy Beanz is banned it affects someone like me (who has not been banned from Twitter yet). Here's a story I wrote that uncoverDC did publish. The topic is about all of the mainstream news organizations who refused to publish one of my stories. So I find it ironic that the one site that does believe in a free press (when it came to my journalism) was banned from Twitter. Of the 25 news organizations who rejected my big (non) scoop story, none of them have come to Tracy Beanz's defense and protested her banning from Twitter.

Expand full comment

Yes, you're definitely missing the point. I'll explain.

Alex is a journalist.

A plurality of journalists use Twitter. (Whether or not you agree with them is irrelevant.)

It's regarded as a critical tool for not only journalists, but also for government officials and people who like cats.

It's also an important tool leveraged by the left to prevent people from saying things they don't like--things such as "H holds 10% for the big guy," "vaccines don't work," and "Trump won."

Moving forward, it's looking much more promising that shit like that won't be happening anymore.

Elon Musk Is a Former Klaus Schwab WEF Young Global Leader

https://www.americaoutloud.com/elon-musk-is-a-former-klaus-schwab-wef-young-global-leader/

Most of my audience is well aware that the World Economic Forum’s “Young Global Leader” initiative has yielded some of the most powerful people in the world. From leaders like Justin Trudeau and Gavin Newsom to tech giants like Larry Page and Mark Zuckerberg, the disciples of Klaus Schwab and the New World Order make up a huge chunk of control over our world today.

What many may not know is that Elon Musk is among them. I don’t hold it against you if you didn’t know because there seems to have been a concerted effort to hide this fact. Searching on Google and other platforms for information about just about any of the previous graduates of Schwab’s school of globalism reveals tons of information, but a similar search for Musk’s participation is conspicuously slim. I had to go back to a 2008 Bloomberg article to find it.

In an article titled “Young Global Leaders–Anderson Cooper and Leonardo DiCaprio Are In The Most Exclusive Private Social Network In The World” by Bruce Nussbaum published March 17, 2008, it’s revealed that, “Elon Musk, the chairman of Tesla Motors, the much-publicized electric sports-car company, is a new YGL.”
