In my faith, Roman Catholic, it is supposed to be forbidden because of the link with aborted fetal tissue but my church not only allows the vaxxes but strongly encourages under the idea that there is no alternative.
There hasn't been any official consensus amongst the scholars we have today that it is haram, and I attribute that to most of them being in the same layman position of most of the population. But once it becomes common knowledge how harmful repeated dosages are, including other info about how its made and the harms involved, that might change. In my opinion it might as well be haram due its uselessness and inability to match the risks involved with taking it. It should certainly be haram for children.
