More like "We will not stop CENSORING conversation." 3. Do you believe that Trump supporters are fascists?
4. If you answered no to these questions, would you object to signing an acknowledgement that will be posted for all Twitter employees to see?
Answering yes to any of these questions should result in termination of employment as they proven unfit to work for a social media platform.

Twitter suspended my account -- for what I do not know. It was before covid, so it was probably my love of Trump. I also don't believe in climate change and I believe in the right to bear arms. Twitter and FB (now ridiculously "Meta" - and yes, I was suspended there too) have both done horrible as investments and as far as I'm concerned they can both go out of business. Musk is no friend to conservatives either, so beware. Tesla makes a whole lot of money trading their emissions credits with other manufacturers which is just corporate extortion.
Also Tesla's cars are subsidized by rebates made possible by tax credits, which if you know the price of a Tesla, you realize this is just welfare payments for wealthy people.
The ability to sell those credits was the only thing that convinced Democrats from California to implement them in the 1990's and early 2000's in their "green" agenda. My husband was at the CEC (energy commission) and watched it all go down.
If you look at the earnings of Tesla, much of their profits are from selling those credits. Without those emission credits, tax credits, and rebates, all made possible by the government, Teslas wouldn't be nearly as "successful." Keep in mind, we didn't need such government assistance to make us all adopt PCs and smartphones. This is just another example of government overreach where the government tries to be the invisible hand and micromanage the economy and the consumer. That never ends well. The allowance to sell emissions credits only enabled companies like Tesla extort huge amounts of money out of companies like Ford.
The concept was liberally applied in California to benefit GMC, Chrysler, Ford, and other car companies to offset the emissions of gasoline powered cars when companies could not build low emission vehicles. Oil companies bought credits while they perfected equipment to scrub the off-gases of refineries. Trains needed credit to continue to operate their diesel fleets. And the first credits were funded by the rate payers of electric and natural gas utilities. Stop cursing Tesla for crafting a way to build electric cars more affordably. That is true capitalism at work!
No, that is not true capitalism at work. True capitalism is based on the free market. Allowing Tesla to extort money out of existing car manufacturers is government overreach. Tesla should be able to build cars more affordably without getting government favors. We didn't need rebates and tax incentives to get us to adopt using a PC or smartphone. Government makes carveouts which benefit one group over another and that is not capitalism. Of course, this emission credit concept was billed as being for everyone's benefit and helping the environment. And vaccines were also for your benefit as were the lockdowns and shutting down the schools. Government will always justify their overreach with "it's good for you." They did this with covid, with guns, with their regulations, and with their emissions credits.

Although this is a victory for free speech I'm not ready to recommend Elon for knighthood just yet. He's not a Commie/ Marxist but he does lean liberal just like Joe Rogan. And I don't know his views about Trump but that would be a good barometer. I recently saw a clip of him giving some dire warning about all the carbon we're putting in the atmosphere and how it has to end to fossil fuels. And maybe it was a doctored clip but someone who has his intelligence shold surely realize that we are a carbon based creation as is everything around us. These are views of the woke, flat earthers that believe we can have any sugnicant effect on the climate. God put it motion, like everything else. The climate will change as He has ordained. If Elon wants to help the planet, go on a campaign against litter, or converting trash to something useful, or beter methods of recycling. There are steps we can take to clean things up but we can'tchange the weather by eliminating carbon.
