I was going to get the book on Kindle anyway, but who is going to pass up 2.99? I may be cheap, but I'm not stupid. :-)

Interesting....I went to write a review after I'd purchased and read it and Amazon tells me this:

"Amazon has noticed unusual reviewing activity on this product. Due to this activity, we have limited this product to verified purchase reviews."

And then it wouldn't allow me to leave a review. What shenanigans are they up to?

Expand full comment

Lying and manipulating. Like usual.

Expand full comment

You've gotta ask? It's called censorship!

Expand full comment

Amazon never seems to be concerned about leftist single-star, single-sentence reviews -- which obviously show the reviewer never read the book -- of "conservative" books. I've been watching this trend for years! Obviously, not a problem in the eyes of Amazon.

Expand full comment

It might have something to do with the socialist incursion upon our means of communication.

Expand full comment

I had to scroll down to find it in the list of items I had bought. I received the same message.

Expand full comment

I have noticed that all new leftist approved books start out with one five star review. Then a period where you cannot submit a review, even if you purchased the book. It’s all manipulated.

Expand full comment

Most leftist books have no content written by useful idiots

Expand full comment

Anything to prevent a best seller!

Expand full comment

Just went back and did my review. REMEMBER TO MENTION THE SUBSTACK when you write your review so people can stay current on both the history and current events related to this mess.

Expand full comment

I recommend the hard cover version as you can beat a vaxhole over the head with it.

Expand full comment

Vaxhole!! I love it!

Expand full comment

did you ever think of this: 'vacca' is Latin for 'cow'. They used to say they were 'cowpoxed' but they changed it to 'vaccinated'. It means 'cow - ated' It mean 'cowed'.

Bought the hardcover for $39.00 Canadian on Amazon😉 got it super early! No hitting lol ✌️

Mine was $29 US Amazon

Please listen to the Joe Rogan podcast with Dr. Peter McCullough on Spotify. You will be furious, but it may save the life of someone older that you love. My God these people are monsters. Good luck to all.

Expand full comment

Thanks for the recommendation. Dr. Peter McCullough is a treasure.

Expand full comment

I watched it last night. Joe Rogan is a terrific interviewer, and Dr. McCullough will be one of the heroes of this era. Along with Alex and Scott Atlas.

I particularly appreciated Dr. McCullough's comments on Sanjay Gupta's unethical behavior to appear on Sesame Street to indoctrinate children.

Expand full comment

It's really a MUST listen!

Expand full comment

Will do so, thanks!

Expand full comment

I will do so!

I am a paid subscriber for you, but I didn't buy the book until it hit $2.99. I bought your last fiction book for full price and on pre-order as a thank you for your work in 2020.

My active duty military husband is about to lose his job over the mandates. I'll be buying the rest of my books at the thrift store or borrowing them from the library.

Expand full comment

Please tell your husband we all support him!! Hate what we are doing to our soldiers!! We ❤️ Our military!

I got hardcopies of Alex, Kennedy, and Mercola so The Borg couldn’t vaporize them at their arbitrary and capricious whim. They’ll undoubtedly scoop them when they come for my shootin’ irons.

Expand full comment

I bought hard copies of these books too. I'm planning to buy as many as I can afford, and give them to libraries and to as many other people as possible. Public libraries, high school and college libraries, and also neighborhood Little Free Libraries.

Expand full comment

Awesome

Expand full comment

Love the little free library idea!

Expand full comment

Don't forget Scott Atlas' book on Fauci & Co. "A Plague Upon Our House".

Expand full comment

I STILL haven’t received my Kennedy book and I couldn’t find it on any shelves here (Stratford, Ontario Canada) AND my book store says it may still take 6 weeks to get here. I may just get the audio version first…

Expand full comment

Yeah, I'm going to do that as well, I think. I did buy the full-price Kindle of Alex's book, though. I haven't read Kennedy's yet.

Expand full comment

Kennedy's?

Expand full comment

“The Real Anthony Fauci” Robert F Kennedy.

Expand full comment

Yes. Essential reading for everyone. It's monumental, a masterwork, a magnum opus.

I haven't read Alex's book yet (though I have it here, in hardback, awaiting my attention.)

What's more important - an optimistic, feel-good story, or the unvarnished, terrible, shocking truth? We need people to be horrified, outraged, staggered, by the reality of what is and has been happening! The blithe ignorance - willful ignorance, for the most part! - on the part of the masses of people will be the final nail in the coffin of our civilization.

Expand full comment

Bravo!!! Well done! Now we just have to do something about Bloomberg (and I don't know who else) stating this morning that the risk of heart issues following vaccination pales in comparison to the risks of myocarditis from Covid...I'm amazed they even created a story for this. Just goes to show that team reality and its fearless leaders are making a dent.... Keep up the good fight, Alex!!!

Listen to the latest Joe Rogan with Peter McCullough. Within the last two minutes of that podcast, McCullough puts those numbers to shame.

Expand full comment

Oh, thank you DK! I will watch this evening...

Expand full comment

Bought! (cheapskate here)

Expand full comment

#bidenflation

Expand full comment

Well now I'm embarrassed.

Expand full comment

Don't be. We all have different budgets. It's just a fun poke. I'm on a really tight budget too. The fact you are interested in the accounting of events as they happened in reality and willing to invest the time to read this book makes you anything but cheapskate, IMO.

Expand full comment

Already bought it. Full price, baby. Well worth the price.

Expand full comment

Well, you know I pre-ordered at a different price. Am I pissed? Heck no. I also bought 10 bound versions and sent them to my family and Friends for Christmas (two of which are absolutely lunatics about getting vaxxed). It is really rare that there are "investigative reporters" nowadays, and I am happy to support your endeavours. All the best from Kürten, Germany.

Finally got my hardcover today from Amazon. Very strange feeling that I was relieved to actually get it. Felt a bit like receiving contraband. I never dreamed this would be possible in our country. All those years believing we are fundamentally different than the people who implemented the Soviet or Maoist regimes. Boy was I wrong.

Expand full comment

I'm not a cheapskate, I am the retired poor. I am loving the book and bought it this morning from your previous announcement. I would be remiss not to buy it at $2.99.

Expand full comment

I jumped on the cheapskate bandwagon. Not sorry.

Expand full comment

Cheapskate. So true. I jumped on the $2.99. BUT you’ll be heartened to know that was AFTER purchasing one hardcover at $24.99 and another at $19.99.

Expand full comment

Haha. I can't stand kindle books. But, I did just buy my 2nd hardcover.

Expand full comment

I like my Kindle because I can enlarge the font. Easier on the tired old eyes.

Expand full comment

I purchased the e-book version mainly because I have been out of work for almost 9 months due to masking mandates... with no income, the $3 at least gave me a more realistic chance to read the book. If I was getting a pay check, I would have gone for the paper version as I prefer that format. So, thank you for helping us 'cheapskates' especially when circumstances dictate that approach. :-)

Expand full comment

We aren't all racking up hundreds of thousands from our Substack, Alex.

Expand full comment

I hope this is meant as irony. Anyone with the most elementary math skills can figure out that Alex is not getting rich from his venture into being a truly independent journalist! (Though I'd be very happy for him if he is getting rich from this venture.)

Expand full comment

Its simple math...you know the kind CDC can't do. If Alex has 10,000 subscribers at $5 per month, soon that's real money. A lot more than the gray lady would pay. I'm happy for him getting rich from his efforts, but don't tell me its chump change.

Expand full comment

Everyone assumes every sub pays to read Substack. Far from the truth. I think most on Substack are happy to get 5% as paying subs short of say Glen Greenwald.

Expand full comment

I've no idea how many subscribers Alex has, but I imagine only a small percentage of them give him any money for the privilege of reading his work.

Expand full comment

That sounds about right

Expand full comment

I love Alex. But you need a better calculator.

Expand full comment

If nothing else, it'll keep his wife, Dr. Berenson, from thinking he's been wasting his time.

Sigh…the churlish make themselves known.

Hey 12 bucks is almost 3 gallons of gas...

I bought two hardcovers, one for me, the other as a xmas gift for my covidian brother. I'm pretty sure the gift he gives me is that I will never hear from him again after he reads a few pages. I wouldn't be surprised if he reports me to the FBI as a domestic covid terrorist

Expand full comment

Hope it goes to #1. Paid original list price for Kindle, glad to do it to support you.

Expand full comment

Congratulations Alex! I’m waiting for my hard cover book for Christmas. I know one of my children got it for me. I want to be able to pass it along! Hopefully, wake up some more sheep.

Expand full comment

I'm unemployed and living off my husband but paid the full hardcover price to help signal demand. A worthy Christmas present for my husband. Felt really good to support a strong voice for the facts. Thank you for being that voice, Alex!

Some of us have to be cheapskates when an important book is a splurge! :) We lost our job and had to sell our home and move from a wonderful little island in the PNW. The most liberal island in Washington State. We miss our grandkids and friends. We lost everything because we wouldn't take the jab. Months from being vested. Maybe the powers that be will get recompense - in the end - for wrecking havoc with our lives. This story isn't over. Yet.

Expand full comment

That sucks Kathleen, I hope you get more than justice, I hope you get vengeance.

Expand full comment

Kathleen, wow. I cannot imagine what you are going through. So sorry.

Expand full comment

I ponied up, even though I have no idea when I’ll read it. I hope more do just to ram this baby up the charts!

Think of it as poking the establishment in the eye for $2.99. Who wouldn’t want yo do that?!

Expand full comment

Can you not go on Bannon’s war room pandemic? Or Joe Rogan? Rogan just had Dr. McCullough on for TWO HOURS and it was amazing!

Expand full comment

He was on Rogan about 2 months ago. Great three hours. Can't wait to listen to McCullough

Expand full comment

I'm confused- listening now. He says he had Covid last year and also got vaccinated yet says you don't need to be vaccinated because of natural immunity. Did I hear that right?

Expand full comment

Actually more than 2 1/2 hours and the whole thing is excellent

Expand full comment

He said he had Covid in 2020 and yet he got vaccinated but says you don't need to be vaccinated if you have had Covid. Totally confused.

Expand full comment

He, like many others, got the vax before he understood the vax

Expand full comment

We have to move this baby past that 1619 garbage.

Expand full comment

Also...YOU CHEAP BASTARDS...buy the hard copy so they can't memory hole your digital copy or censor it.

Alex you’ve not only opened my eyes to the absolute cluster that is this pandemic but you’ve also helped me realize what a biased scam the NYT best seller list is. Eyes: open!

Expand full comment

Cheapskate here. It's fucking December. I am fucking broke.

Expand full comment

If you knew how many books I am reading simultaneously (not including Substack newsletters) and saw the multiple book shelves in my house, you would not fault me for buying the Kindle version! 😊❤️

Expand full comment

Call me cheap…I don’t care. I get to read the book for $2.99 - Wahoo! I bought all his Unreported Truth books. Sometimes Alex forgets that a lot of us are on a limited income. He should be glad we keep up with him and read his books! I usually read his books “free” from the library.

Some of us bought the physical book…and the Kindle book ;)

Alex, I’m curious when the price is that low does it change what you personally earn? Or, when it’s that low who is losing out on the profits? Amazon? The Publisher?
