As awful as his lies about his military service and his 'socialism is just another form of neighborliness' comments are, to overlook your city burning and deciding to let it happen is by far his most unforgivable sin. People died, businesses died and his wife can only comment about the smell of burning tires. Despicable people.

As rioters were burning Minneapolis to the ground, Walz had a snitch line open for people to report their neighbors for going outside without a mask. I guess rioters were invincible so they did not need masks to protect them from the deadly China virus. The people in the quiet neighborhoods however, were in imminent danger outside their homes with no one else around.

Walz allowed a funeral for George Floyd in a packed stadium where he was buried in a golden casket while regular citizens of Minnesota could not even visit their loved ones in the hospital or hold funerals for them.

Minnesota was one of the first states to set up a "snitch line" during covid while he allowed rioters to burn down and loot downtown St. Paul. He said the rest of Minnesota outside of the Twin Cities was just "rocks and cows".

and he also committed another unforgivable sin of sending Covid patients released from hospitals back into nursing homes, a la Cuomo, Whitmer, Murphy and a couple of others...truly wonder how these people sleep at night

I did. Thanks for reminding me.

How do these people sleep at night? They entirely lack consciences.

Also can't figure out why NY Jews (and I'm one of them) have primarily voted Democrat. My sister and I have wondered this for years. Especially after seeing what Rudy did to revive the city. Just another head scratcher.

Very very puzzling. And also the Black vote....given the Democrat vile history of racism ever since the Civil War, why any blacks vote Democrat is a total mystery to me.

Minnesota has always had a conformist bother-your-neighbor vibe. It had an ugly cultural right-wing veneer in the 2000's and now it has a leftist cultural flavor. The mask culture there was insufferable in the citified areas.

Expand full comment

Exactly: neighborless is voluntary, socialism is at the point of a gun.

Actually, when gun is involved, it is communism.

And socialism. There is nothing voluntary about socialism.

* Neighborliness

The socialism=neighborliness comment is the worst. Socialists take YOUR stuff and give it to someone else. Neighbors give neighbors THEIR stuff. He's supposedly a social studies teacher and does not know the difference.

Expand full comment

Socialists take YOUR stuff and keep it for themselves.

He knows the difference but he's banking on the uninformed not knowing the difference. People hear they are going to get "free" stuff and they really think it's free. I had to explain the "free" covid shots were not free.

He served for 24 years in the National Guard, but retired when there was a possibility of deployment. He served in the Guard for 24 years, but didn’t call on the Guard to protect his citizens when needed.

What exactly did he think the Guard was for? I’m guessing for him it was only another government paycheck and pension.

Read somewhere that in that 24 years, he served an actual total of something like 164 days. Being in the National Guard was an easy way to juice one's resume, particularly if one wanted to run for office later.

One of the most important things was his appearance on MSNBC in Dec 2022: “There's no guarantee to free speech on misinformation or hate speech and especially around our democracy.”

(Unless **I** am the one defining misinformation and hate speech lol)

Expand full comment

This is in contravention to the Constitution, not to mention the 1st Amendment. (Again, the Constitution gives the government no power to regulate speech and the 1st Amendment merely reinforces that because they were aware that there were forces who would do what happened and enlarge the Federal government beyond all limits as soon as they could do so.)

Expand full comment

Exactly—it's always about who controls the narrative. In today's political landscape, defining 'misinformation' is just another way both governing parties shape our perceptions. Ultimately, we're all caught in the crossfire. I just was explaining this power play to a close friend of mine via an article. I’ve lived in MN all of my 56 years. He is the worst Governor we have ever had and the most left. He LIES about everything! People have seen his policies by now but note that these were all passed by a 1 vote margin in the MN house. His motto was “ONE MN” what a joke!

Expand full comment

Yes, he is a far-left, radical extremist and they are describing him as "centrist." Perhaps he is a centrist if your extremes are Stalin and Mao.

He has the old white man card which allows people to pretend he's one of the responsible adults they recall from childhood, just like they pretended Joe Biden was a respectable, accomplished man like many of his age-peers.

Of course, that is why Kamala picked him - she too is a far-left, radical extremist.

It won’t matter because nobody will get close enough to him to ask the question. Harris hasn’t faced the media yet and he will follow suit. Doesn’t anyone find this maddening? Trump wants three debates and so far only one has been agreed to. I’m guessing if she falls flat they figure they will have enough time for the internet scrubbers and MSM to spin it in her favor by election time. What they are doing isn’t an American election campaign. It’s a socialist cabal trying to force its way to the top spot. I pray people are smart enough to see this but based on past results I doubt intelligence plays much part in elections anymore. I’m trying to figure out if our votes even count now. I’ve spoken to plenty of people over the past 4 years and haven’t found one person who voted for Biden or other shitty politicians yet they won

And yet we have polls showing how close it is. I think that there are plenty of racists and sexists who will vote for one candidate solely based on her (I am not a biologist so am only guessing - per Ketanji Brown Jackson) gender and skin color. The definition of racism and sexism and yet the legacy media won't call it out.

Expand full comment

THIS is what scares me. Most assuredly, the polls are rigged, like everything else reflected in MSM. But it's those very real people who keep following these DEI-chosen "leaders", despite their actual stance on issues and their track records, that terrify me. Wokeism is a religion, though, so zealots are sure to blossom. It's just scary to think that if we are really divided roughly in half and the other half has lost their GD minds. Post election, what is that even going to look like?

That is indeed very scary. Half the country will automatically vote for Kamala/Walz based on "vibes" without her ever answering a real question or talking about any real policies.

I wouldn't put too much stock in the polls. They can be manipulated to produce the desired outcome.

Exactly! Poll in a pre-chosen location to get the desired results. They could poll people coming out of a Harris rally and get one result, then poll people coming out of a Trump rally and get an entirely different result. Polls usually are from a relatively small number of people as well. Polls said Hillary was beating Trump handily just before the 2016 election. So much for polls.

So by 1995, Walz’s National Guard service in an artillery battalion had rendered him too deaf to understand a conversation (a condition previously undiagnosed, untreated, and unnoticed by Walz, or anyone else). But his deafness apparently went into remission promptly thereafter, enabling him to remain in the guard for another 10 years. A bona fide miracle, for sure.

That particular lie, offered with zero corroborating evidence, would have gotten me laughed out of court - after a thorough reaming by the judge (“Counsel, you don’t seem like a stupid man. Do I”) Maybe judges are just way more credulous in Minnesota, but I doubt it.

Walz’s decision to cut and run on his men, after his battalion got warning orders to prepare for formal deployment orders was contemptible. Classic blue falcon stuff. You can Google “blue falcon” and decide for yourself whether you agree it fits Walz. Trust me, though, it’s not a term of respect or endearment.

Finally, the way Walz danced around his decision to retire two years short of his six-year re-enlistment agreement, but boasted about “carrying weapons in war” was simply a way of trying to create the impression that he was a hybrid of Audie Murphy and Sergeant York, while maintaining a slick plausible deniability that allowed him to deny overtly lying.

But it isn’t plausible, and it shows that Walz is a blue falcon inveterate liar.

Quayle was a lightweight, but this guy is liar and a cheat. Quayle was good fodder for comedy. This jerk isn't funny. He's dangerously horrifying. You didn't mention that he claimed to be a Command Sargent Major [edited for accuracy] when he retired, even though he did not complete the training or the service for the conditional rank. (He bailed when the deployment warning was issued.) He retired a Master Sargent. Apparently this was just not good enough, so he made it up. This might not seem like a big deal to most people, but as the spouse of a Vietnam combat medic (yes, treated troops under fire), stolen valor matters a great deal to us. When he came back in the early 70's no one thanked him for his service, trust me. And now there are the reports today, that Walz, as governor, interacted with a radical Muslim cleric multiple times. This cleric praised the October 7th massacre and showed a pro-Hitler film. Oh yeah, and he gave this cleric a 100K grant in state funds. Who's Hitler now?
