And yes, I know it’s Nikole Hannah-Jones. Her Twitter handle seems more appropriate under the circumstances.

Alex, I so wish I could laugh with you, but this crap is evil, so not funny to me. She’s not dumb, she’s evil.

"I just don't understand how censorship of everyone I don't like is wrong?" - NYSlimes moron

I would argue her importance is limited to a blue check world that is increasingly irrelevant. Clueless transnational elitists with their hangnail dramas are so last decade!

She's that immoral

"Politics" has caused more deaths than anything second only to "religion". Hannah Jones is spreading deadly disinformation by pretending that this isn't political; its nothing BUT political. Ignorance is no excuse.

I’m a former lefty and NYT subscriber. I’m telling you we (the left) thought Trump was so incompetent that when smooth talking Fauci stepped up we immediately fell under his spell. Most have remained under the spell or fallen even further.

In my case I’d worked on gene therapy, specifically siRNA (short interfering RNA) and knew exactly how very little we understand this technology, and I saw the Pfizer trial numbers and they made no sense. Yet, my former comrades who know the science and stats better than I do have checked their brains at the door. They are literally in la la land as there’s no way to reach them.

We used to laugh how people who only watch Fox are stuck in a news bubble. Not to say left media is any better but I saw a clear switch in NPR and NYT “reporting” shortly after the jabs came out. To me it was a night and day shift (and I was rooting for the jabs to work) but I think the fact that Biden defeated Trump and Fauci had gained our blind trust and they just keep believing the “science”. It’s a nightmare!

Ms. Jones has no “power”. She is, at best, a globalist shill, actress on a stage. At worst, a Maxine Waters who can spell.

She is that dumb and that full of herself.

Is this statement about Greene getting banned from Twitter? If it is, shouldn't we censor the government since she was quoting numbers from their website?

The keening of the Blue Checks over a year after Trump was booted out of office shows us it was never about Trump, but always about their psychotic need to stomp out every opinion that doesn't fit with the New Wokeism.

This gal's tweet is about as emblematic of what a fucked up mess we've made of the world as anything could be. A deified freak of no particular accomplishment other than a ridiculous faux-academic play to hatred of America (and one of the most privileged of the most privileged people on the planet as a result of being born in this country) expresses confusion as to how it could be considered political for tech companies (tech companies!!!) to "refuse" to allow "deadly disinformation" in accordance with the decrees of the current political actors who make the rules that we all have to follow, despite it having been commonplace for those same political actors to express the same types of "deadly disinformation" when they were not in charge, for purely political reasons, unhindered by the tech companies that control our public discourse.

Nope, nothing political at all. Only safety and benevolent public interest. And if you disagree, we have ways of dealing with you.

Fuck this shit.

If she's talking about MTG, everything she said was factually true.

------------------------

In July, Ms. Greene argued that Covid-19 was not dangerous for people unless they were obese or over age 65, and said vaccines should not be required.

-----------------------

With very few exceptions, this is true.

-----------------------

In August, Ms. Greene said on Twitter, “The F.D.A. should not approve the covid vaccines.” She said that there were too many reports of infection and the spread of the coronavirus among vaccinated people, and that the vaccines were “failing” and “do not reduce the spread of the virus & neither do masks.”

----------------------

The first part is an opinion. As for the second part, the vaccines clearly DO NOT reduce the spread of the virus. The CDC said as much months ago.

If we can't agree on reality, what the fuck is going on?

James Lindsay would say, I think, that she isn't stupid at all. This is anarcho-tyranny in action, and the dissonance is intentional. She will call one thing political, and another identical thing apolitical, based on the outcomes from those two things. If she disagrees with the outcome then you are being political about it, if she likes the outcome then it's apolitical. And being able to do this is her showing you the power she has.
