I’m a former lefty and NYT subscriber. I’m telling you we (the left) thought Trump was so incompetent that when smooth talking Fauci stepped up we immediately fell under his spell. Most have remained under the spell or fallen even further.

We used to laugh how people who only watch Fox are stuck in a news bubble. Not to say left media is any better but I saw a clear switch in NPR and NYT “reporting” shortly after the jabs came out. To me it was a night and day shift (and I was rooting for the jabs to work) but I think the fact that Biden defeated Trump and Fauci had gained our blind trust and they just keep believing the “science”. The first part is an opinion. As for the second part, the vaccines clearly DO NOT reduce the spread of the virus. The CDC said as much months ago.
