My daughter in law, who is a nurse, got an email from her hospital administrator saying they were forgetting about the OSHA mandate but still had to comply with the CMS mandate because of Medicare/Medicaid money. Apparently they are encouraging religious exemption applications and actually approving them. She got hers, thankfully, and gets to keep her job. She already had Covid anyway. The whole thing is so stupid.
Makes me think about the Marxist use of their words and phrases too like "vaccine hesitant". There is no hesitancy with many of us...we know what we want and do not want after using our god given critical thinking abilities and conferring with those we trust. Such condescending terminology spewed by the left. Exact same place where the phrase anti-vaxxer comes from or build back better or new normal etc etc...

My RN spouse (of 22 yrs experience) just submitted her Request for Religious Accommodation for both the COVID and influenza vaccines to her large hospital employer. Our Catholic pastor provided a signed and sealed letter on parish letterhead as backup and explanation for why a Catholic (or indeed anyone) is entitled to a religious conscience exemption.
Her supervisor sent her a group email reminding their unit that anyone without their flu vax or COVID vax by Dec. 1 would be placed on unpaid leave.
We don't - but the state next door is under that court decision. So if she does get terminated, she could conceivably do the 1+ hour drive and maybe pick up a travel gig.
Of course we would still sue the hospital system for violating her 1st Amendment rights and refusing to grant an accommodation. Seems that would be a double-whammy insofar as they lose yet another highly experienced RN, and get sued as well. I'm a retired attorney - I definitely know what I'd be advising them.
Some good news though - her supervisor came to her today and said she *thought* she was getting a religious exemption, but they would see how it goes.
I wish you both the best. Maybe her employer is quietly figuring out how to retain valued staff given the court decision. Please let me know how this works out. My husband is a retired nurse (retired pre-covid) so have a particular interest in the treatment of nurses.

A friend submitted a religious exemption request for a board he sits on and wrote that the possibility that they would require more information from a religious leader to validate the sincerity of his beliefs was outrageous and demanded that he have the theological credentials of those evaluating him! It’s another to mandate one that wears off precipitously and to wonder if you as the employer are going to also have to mandate boosters, and wonder if your also going to have to mandate new vaccines for new variants. The pandemic is over, yes Covid is still here but we just have to go on with our lives.
The mandates going bye-bye will be a huge problem for Fauci. He needs everybody vaxxed to eliminate the control group. Otherwise, we will be able to see that the vaxxed are the ones having heart attacks and strokes. If everybody is vaxxed, Fauci and his ilk can blame these terrible outcomes on the variants and the lockdowns.
This is not Fauci's first rodeo with a dangerous vaccine. I wrote about it myself last month. Now I'm reading RJK Jr.'s book and he says the same thing. The mandates serve one purpose for Fauci: They help get rid of the control group.

We already see this.- whether people want to say the truth to themselves or others OR act on it is the issue. Fauci is in this for himself -power and money and he has both. Why is this a huge problem for him? sorry?
My read of RFKs book is that medical research has been thoroughly corrupted and with the huge money at stake Fauci has gained power and money from doling out money to his world favourites. Like a drug leader picking his favourites to get the best corners. All US medical research universities/colleges as well as lots of those world wide are totally dependent upon his money for their jobs and survival. You could remove Fauci today and the system would keep on going.
My husband, who is an internal medicine physician, finally sees that, and it's very depressing. I remember telling him about ivermectin and how studies were showing it was very effective, and he said, "But the American Society of Infectious Disease doesn't say you should use it." Over time, he realized that the Society of Internal Medicine, etc., etc. have all been taken over by Big Pharma and Big Government. Now he's prescribing Ivermectin himself.
Good for him. It's too bad my (former) PCP refuses to catch on and hides behind her internal med boards. At some point, ignorance is no longer going to be an excuse.
Good for him 🥰 I too (though distant from research Uni's ) hear complaints from colleagues about the same thing. It seems that being a GP (after figuring out how to keep the Pharma reps out) is the safest Practice these days. I moved to natural holistic medicine and boy I have never regretted it.
Part way through RFK’s book….a great read. Teeny Fraudchi, Gates and more need to be brought up on crimes against humanity. How do we do it? I’ll pay for a share of a team of brave attorneys.

Unfortunately, there is no mandatory retirement age for federal employees (I'm one myself). But I know of very few feds still working in their late 70s, much less 80s. You'd think he'd leave now before it all falls apart.

make sure that the attorney responds that since they are requiring and unwanted, experimental vaccine with low efficacy and high rates of adverse events that you are assuming they are covering all liability should there be any adverse events since they are forcing it. Trust me, that will change their view. These suits will bankrupt these companies.
She could present a notice of liability to their lawyer stating that they are liable if anything happens to her. We have seen some success with that in canada
A friend submitted a religious exemption request for a board he sits on and wrote that the possibility that they would require more information from a religious leader to validate the sincerity of his beliefs was outrageous and demanded that he have the theological credentials of those evaluating him! We'll see what he gets back from that!

That is a really good question! When Trump was in office, it seemed like all cases were filed in the 9th Circuit with a nationwide injunction following shortly thereafter ~ 🤔
