In the meantime, if you want more on Ivermectin, please please please check out my latest three posts, "Ivermectin and the 'very powerful lobby'. Yes I know that Berenson (who is great) doesn't like the Ivermectin data, but I think if he were to read my last three posts (starting on part 1) he'd soon come around.

I'm not sure about ivermectin, but HCQ is the cure for the common cold. No more Sudafed or Nyquil for this gal!

What's understated thru these past few years is the fact HCQ and Ivermectin work wonderfully and have for decades for common colds and most seasonal flu like issues. Funny how no one was told this. I wonder why hmmmm. Can you say $$$ and no need for most over the counter meds and prescriptions. We the people have been SO misled on what we are FED by the so called protectors of public health!

Every time I felt something coming on, I took a dose of my handy dandy horse paste (ivermectin) and within hours I felt amazingly better.

I have since found the "cure" for everything. It's called MMS or miracle mineral solution (a.k.a. chlorine dioxide). In 3 weeks, it has reduced my knee, back and foot pain by 90%. My allergies, roseacea and chronic yeast infections are also gone. It works in the body as an antioxidant, clearing out pathogens and toxins. The best part is it costs under $30. This stuff has been around for years and if you Google it, it says it's toxic. Can you imagine if this caught on and we were all able to get off all their toxic, expensive medications? Trust me, big pharma doesn't want us getting healthy.

You have to go through an online doctor and pharmacy. It may be out of pocket, but to me it was worth it. Buy it ahead of time to have on hand. What no one is talking about is the "vaccinated" will become vectors of more virulent and infectious strains before they succumb to cancer, AIDS and other immunodeficiency issues. Those of us with natural immunity are the only hope for humanity. My recommendation is to be one of these people, if possible.

What about the Canadian Covid Care Alliance analysis of the Pfizer clinical data? "Even within the first few pages of the data it was clear that the vaccine approved for emergency authorization was not safe. It depends- whose ox is being gored?

I find court rulings from the 70's-80's, regarding free speech rights at the now-obsolete shopping malls to be a good analog. Many state supreme courts found the public commons had moved away from the traditional town centers, and at that time, had come to reside in shopping malls.

A good summary can be found at Freedom Forum Institute- https://www.freedomforuminstitute.org/first-amendment-center/topics/freedom-of-assembly/assembly-on-private-property/

There, you can find this little gem: ...the California Supreme Court held in Robins v. Pruneyard Shopping Center that the free-speech and petition provisions of the California Constitution grant mall visitors a constitutional right to free speech that outweighs the private-property interests of mall owners. The California Supreme Court took the position that “all private property is held subject to the power of government to regulate its use for the public welfare.”

If shopping malls then could not prevent visitors from exercising free speech, how can Twitter do so now?

One reason is that there are prosecutors that have been strategically put into certain markets by Soros I believe.

California Democratic Gov. Newsom has announced the state will end indoor mask restrictions next week, but only for the vaccinated. Unvaccinated people will still be required to wear masks indoors. Schools will also still require mask wearing after the Feb. 15 deadline. now how democratic is that?

And the city of LA says, Fuck it. Keep with the masks until...(insert bullshit metric here).

It will never be over. Forget science, forget reality. They can't let it go.

Expand full comment

Well..... if you looked carefully at the super bowl crowd, it is now clear (as if we didn't already know) that the mask "bs" IS actually over for "some", but certainly NOT for children as the extinction of the mask mandate is prioritized on the basis of wealth alone, and children... well, they are at the bottom of the list of those who possess substantial assets, so hello entertainment stars, politicians, and all members of the "privileged class", peasants and their children do not need education and need to STAY masked; it develops an environment of suspicion, depersonalization (noun the action of divesting someone or something of human characteristics or individuality) , and it is useful to make all of the peasant class look virtually "alike". It also significantly reduces socialization within the peasant class, something that is also highly desirable. All of the above work together to make an obedient, never questioning, servant class. Apparently, some (or much ?) of Canada is waking up to that, hopefully, U.S. citizens will realize that they are 60% of the way to that very end now. Getting close to no way back.

I have a dreadful sense that we already passed the no way back point.

It's different now, I think forever.

Trust is broken, and let's be real. It's not coming back barring massive upheaval of some sort.

Expand full comment

NO, no, no, that is EXACTLY the plan, to make you feel HOPELESS, right out of the play book for installing a social dictator government... you break the WILL, with isolation (masks and only a few privileged allowed "entertainments"), denied socialization (NO gatherings in private homes over a defined number of people, no sitting with others in religious services, etc.), and depersonalization to subdue personality traits that make each individual so unique (masks, de emphasis of hair, makeup, jewelry (except for the ruling class of course), all of these are deliberate steps to a place most have no idea they are going ! ! ! Hotel California... you can check out any time you like, but you can never leave. Do we really want to check in ?

If that happens, don't take it as a sign it will always be as such ! We all must understand that human nature is such that INTERNAL forces will force a small percentage of people to stay with ANY familiar ritual. There are probably those among us who still carry a rabbits foot on a key chain because although the KNOW it did not save their life in combat, or prevent them from boarding the doomed flight (it was actually the unexpected traffic jam that prevented them from getting to the airport in time), but to THEM, it was and always will be, the "rabbit's foot" their uncle gave them when they were 8 year's old. It's harmless really, not a "mental" condition. But we need to expect a few to cling to masks. Eventually, feeling socially "foolish", or drawing attention as the only person at a gathering wearing a food handler's mask, will cause them to shed same. But certainly has taken a toll that will take years to completely overcome, you are right. MLK and Gandhi gave us all we need to know.... regardless of what city, ANY CITY, if all agree it's the end of masks it will indeed be, the end of masks, vaccination cards, everything except the free will to get as many vaccinations and booster shots as you want. No city has the capacity to arrest and incarcerate every single individual in the city, every worker in every single establishment, every shopper and restaurant patron, etc. It just takes determination.... Boston Tea party for example, a bunch of guys got together in a tavern... a bunch of truckers get together at a barbecue joint or coffee shop.... and things begin to turn around.

Ummm... And how the heck are they checking to see who's vaccinated and unvaccinated -a paper vaccination card that a million people have already copied, filled out with random numbers, and made their own? It's laughable. Down here in inland SoCal, many businesses still have the signs up and the big sandwich board out front about distancing and masking etc etc yada yada yada and those of us with still functioning frontal lobes smile and walk past and ignore and nobody, NOBODY says boo. It's all just Kabuki theater. I don't know anyone south of Livermore who has ever been asked to show a covid card. The businesses want to be able to say that they are following the rules because they don't want to get in trouble because fear... But they also don't want to go out of business and they know it's just for show. Any small, family business down here that gets hard-nosed about the mandates will soon find that a lot of its clientele will go elsewhere.

From a very quick scan, these cases seem to come to bizarre conclusions but the California constitution apparently has some bizarre provisions. The cases will help Alex even though they may be wrongly decided (for example, Pruneyard arguably held that a private individual -- not the government -- could abridge free speech rights! Only in California, right?). But what makes Alex's case different (and stronger) is the common carrier angle.

Just read Laguna. What a different time - when our courts were forging ahead protecting freedom of speech not diminishing it. My con law expertise consists of one class years ago but even with that basic framework I was baffled that attorneys said the law is settled that social media platforms have a right to limit freedom of speech. Like medical science, law is never settled otherwise one would never need to go to court- and attorneys would be out of work. 10 minutes of research pulled up Pruneyard which holds that California affords greater 1st protection to residents. Private property owners, which I believe social media platforms are virtual property owners, who are open to the public, must respect first amendment principles. As the Laguna Court noted: In other words, because the public had been invited on to private property, they would be deemed as remaining clothed with their free speech rights secured under the state Constitution for so long as the exercise of those rights did not impinge on the property rights of the merchants doing business in the shopping center, all with the result that any attempted curtailment of those rights imported the implicit sanction of state action. Alex's case is so important and I look forward to him prevailing

I say it’s the virtual structure that is open to stores-which are those who post. But it’s even more. Social media platforms invite speech. They invite them and then also rent to advertisers and they then position those advertisers using ai. To pretend they are then some private community is laughable. The alternative is that they are publisher and they edit. No analogy is perfect which is why you go to court and hash it out

And that is why it is a legal discussion. It is new territory. If Alex and others are deemed merely handing out leaflets on the new town square that is pretty easy. But I think they are much more than that. The platform was built to have the Alex's of the world post and gather eyeballs for their content so they can then be successful in selling advertising. So then they are publishers. The real point is that when lawyers were publishing opinions that the matter is settled, they were lying. The area is far from settled. And no area is ever settled. It this were true we would still have Jim Crow laws. Thankfully we do not.

A bunch of self dealing can create huge conflict that leads to nearly imponderable tedium detail. I can see the Twitter import. I can just picture the amount of the legal fees involved just from the length of the discussion. A bit of Pruneyard affirms that CA may find that private companies cannot infringe some rights. Aren't courts fine places for reason to prevail (or not).
