As mark steyn put it this month, “ "To demonstrate how much we'd learned the lessons of the Holocaust, the west invited in millions of people whose only problem with the Holocaust is that the Germans didn't get to finish it."

Totally agree. The West also had some responsibility during the Holocaust. Jews have always been "stateless" until 1948, so they were summarily rejected safe haven.

Also, Jewish leaders have some responsibility. For they were as blind as the good Germans for way too long. Now this is not a indictment of the Jewish people, but it is an inescapable fact that the leaders did not have the courage to unite and speak out early enough or the foresight to see the consequences of being victims of apathy.

The signs were very clear starting in 1924. To have that long before 1935 when being a Jew was "defined" for "legal" purposes that allowed progressively more exclusionary laws was one part cowardness and another utter dereliction.

And if you notice, the majority of Jews are falling for the same movie they've seen for 5K years by voting for a party that is in your face antisemitic.

Yep, what happens now with Repugnocant losers in office…

They, the *khazarian non-jews*, do not easily integrate into the host country's social structure. The one country they did, to a degree, is Germany. 150,000 men of jewish ancestry serve in the Wehrmacht. Today's jewry is to 97% of khazarian origin, there is no real pretense to Israel that belongs to the Palestinians. But the "horse deal" they concluded with the British in 1917 with the Balfour declaration, promising them an entry to Palestine. It was a quid-pro-quo horse deal, to bring in America into WW1 on the side of the losing British and French. Again, Germany was winning this unjust and unjustified war, and holding out the hand of peace, but the warmongers prevailed.

British Prime Minister George David Lloyd during WW1 visited with Hitler in 1936 and at the conclusion of his visit he declared the following: I HAVE NEVER SEEN A MORE HAPPY PEOPLE, THE YOUNG ADORE HIM, THE OLD RESPECT HIM.!!! So much for telling the other side of the coin/story.

Authoritarians of any stripe - fascist, socialist, communist- will divide people by immutable characteristics in order to create and us vs them dynamic in order to control people. Envy and division are still the hallmark of the left in the U.S. today. Look at the targeting of “the rich” and “Israel” and “Jews”.

It's True's avatar

And I’ll add, Alex, even you are buying in with “Even with our income inequality…”. Success is a positive, not something you should denigrate. And someone’s “need “/whim/desire doesn’t give them claim to someone else’s life whether it is 100% like the civil war or merely 60% like the far left in the U.S. believes they should own. The Democratic Party likes to hide their goals with euphemisms and flowery language but their philosophy hasn’t changed: they believe their existence gives them the right to claim ownership of someone else’s life.

Democrats like one thing: power.

In George Orwell’s “1984,” Inner Party member (and interrogator and torturer of Winston Smith) O’Brien declares to Smith: “The Party seeks power entirely for its own sake. We are not interested in the good of others; we are interested solely in power.”

That is a succinct and accurate  description of the current-day Democratic [sic] Party, which views “1984” not as a novel, but as an instruction manual.

Success is truly how you impact on promoting personal spiritual and reciprocating growth among others valued and cherished. While consistently and repetitively practicing it within oneself.

A lot of people go to bed at night at least subconsciously praying there is no afterlife.

Then I'll add that pinning the sin of slavery on America and Americans is a current theme popular among the political left who hope to use it to divide people. Slavery existed as soon as there were people to enslave. It has existed everywhere among all peoples, North American native peoples even. Muslims in particular. As soon as a person brings it up I have a measure of the person I am dealing with.

And the targeting of Christians and "the right" and Charlie Kirk. Understand the targeting is aimed at those who love and know compassion. Understand the targeting is aimed at anyone who objects to tyranny, no matter where that tyranny arises.

“Authoritarians of any stripe - fascist, socialist, communist- will divide people by immutable characteristics in order to create an us vs them dynamic in order to control people.”

I would also add that Democrats will divide people by immutable characteristics in order to create an us vs them dynamic in order to control people. They have been doing it for almost two centuries.

David Westall's avatar

That’s what he said.

WFF's avatar

Not exactly. He said, and I agree, that “authoritarians of any stripe…will divide people by immutable characteristics,” etc. I simply added to it the point that Democrats, regardless of whether or not they are authoritarians, will also divide people by immutable characteristics.

Democrats are certainly wannabe authoritarians, just as Adolf Hitler was a wannabe authoritarian until January 30, 1933, when he was appointed as the Chancellor of Germany and became a “for real” authoritarian until he committed suicide on April 30, 1945.

I started 10th Grade in 1962. My father fought in WWII, as did others in my extended family. I learned of the Holocaust from newsreels and tv shows that made clear the horror. I read The Guns of Krupp and The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich before I was 21. It all seemed real and immediate and unthinkable. Not that much later, I learned of the horrors of Mao and Stalin and much later of Pol Pot. I've never seen much difference between Nazism and Communism. Both chew up entire populations in the pursuit of some impossible and sick dream.

Today, California requires kids to learn about slavery and the Armenian Genocide and colonialism and the terrible anti-Chinaman history of our state. All good. But Hitler and Stalin and Mao should all be taught above all other horrors. Otherwise it's too easy to assume that a justified war against Hamas is the worst thing that ever happened.

I'm waiting for someone to say the word. Islam. The Qu'ran is filled with incitement of violence toward the Jews and almost 2 billion people embrace it. Moslem countries have been ethnically cleansed of Jews and such cleansing only makes Allah smile. The anti-Semitism in the West has followed the trajectory of Moslem immigration. This has also enabled anti-Semites of the left and the right to come out of the closet. It's only going to get worse until people stop trying to pretend Islam is the religion of peace and accept what they tell us about themselves

ktrip's avatar

Absolutely correct. I put the official American beginning with GWB and his stupid "Islam is Peace" speech just six days after 9/11. There is no such thing as Islamophobia because a phobia is an irrational fear and the fear is quite rational here. When practiced as directed, Islam is a religion of militant conquest. That is not to say that all Muslims practice it that way, but we require fewer and fewer to assimilate and instead cater to them even when they violate our laws and mores. And unfortunately, abroad, our leaders got rid of most the secular Islamic leaders in various wars and color revolutions over the past 45 years. Show me a leader in any of these places that is friendlier to the west than those who were deposed? There may be one or two but most are more radical and anti-west. Jews and Christians have been driven out of the Middle East (with the obvious exception of Israel). They are being driven out of Africa as well. Now we see Muslim immigration has changed the face of Western Europe and gaining ground in enclaves in the US while our leaders repeat that Islam is peace BS and call anyone who questions the wisdom of inviting in millions of Muslims "Islamophobes."

ktrip's avatar

I would add, I personally know people who grew up under Islamic regimes who emigrated to the US to get away from those regimes. These people are more fearful than anyone of that kind of Islam coming here, and they are seeing it already and warning about it. But they too are ignored.

Lynne Hallman's avatar

Yet they do not speak out. Where are the muslims who do not agree with the murderous ideology they follow? We hear nothing from these so-called peaceful muslims.

ktrip's avatar

Most do not, but the ones I know did and got no coverage. I know because I was with them. They held weekly protests when the Iranians killed that young woman Mahsa Amini for not wearing the Hijab. I was one the few non-Persian Americans in the group. We had well over a thousand people each time over a period of several months every weekend and some weekdays. We went to the White House. We went to the Capitol. We circled the reflecting pool but the Washington monument. We marched to the abandoned Iranian embassy. We protested the Mullahs, Biden's inaction, and radical Islam. And nobody in the beltway media covered it.

Therein lies the spread of anti-Semitism in the US. It is a soft, indirect form due to politicians pandering for the support of those that are by religion, culture, dogma, anti-Semites. Principally, the Democrat party tacitly accepts the anti-Semitism in order to garner support from Jew- hating progressives and radicals in order to have power ( a devil’s bargain). They are a cancer and all it can take is a great economic shock to metastasize.

The same proportion supports political violence against their opponents and celebrated the assassination of Charlie Kirk. See my comment above. What I learned from trying to enter stores unmasked was that it only takes a very small number of people who are all in to exert control over the majority. The bulk of people just want things to go about peacefully, and to not have to get involved. They will hold the door for the totalitarians who are carting you away.

Lynne Hallman's avatar

What I heard from sane colleagues during covid was that they just want to be left alone. That is what decent people want TO BE LEFT ALONE. As I said to him, actually a muslim, THEY WILL NEVER LET YOU ALONE. YOU HAVE TO FACE UP TO IT AND RESIST.

Taming the Wolf Institute's avatar

Absolutely accurate. Evil showed up at a level we had not suspected was possible. I fear that Holocaust continues. The general public still has not understood that COVID was a bioweapon developed by CIA and DOD. It is unimaginable that they would unleash such a weapon... but they did and they continue to lie about it. Perhaps we are living in a slow motion Holocaust that we must overthrow in order to survive.

Rebecca Johnson's avatar

the bioweapon wasn't covid, it was the jab. Covid wasn't very lethal, but they intentionally inflated every metric to induce mass panic so they could force the jab.

Taming the Wolf Institute's avatar

The virus, Sars-CoV-2, was a bioweapon that caused COVID. The research trail, the papers, the grants, etc. all show it was a gain-of-function bioweapon. The "vaccine" or "jab" was many, many times more lethal. The jab delivered many times more mRNA that entered the cell and created the spike protein, the primary toxic agent, a prion. A video I directed explains... https://galleries.vidflow.co/awitness

Rebecca Johnson's avatar

I absolutely agree that it was a human-designed bioweapon. Not to talk out of both sides of my mouth, what I agree with is that it was human designed and intentionally released. It was not very lethal at all, not much more than a bad flu season. But it was used, and probably created so that they could justify the "vaccine" which in my view was the plan all along, not a reaction to Covid, but Covid was the excuse to force mass "injection" with the worse thing, the "vaccine."

I think we would agree that from start to finish the "Plandemic" was orchestrated to 1) depopulate the world, and 2) work towards world domination, somewhat as an experiment to learn how well the tactics would work, what might need to be tweaked, etc.

What think you?

As a Bible (a book primarily written by Jews) believing Christian, I know exactly the reason behind antisemitism. It's very simple. Satan, a real being, has been trying to destroy humanity & especially God's chosen people from day one. There is a spiritual element at play here that can never be explained any other way.

LRH's avatar

For the believer no truer words are written. The God of Abraham, Jacob and Moses chose Abraham to become His people. satan has always tried to destroy the Jewish people and uses all his powers to achieve this goal because of his hatred towards God.

Not apropos of antisemitism, per se, but as to the question, "How?"

I recall a moment in 2021 when I went to the Container Store in Orange County, California. I tried to go in without a mask and was stopped at the door. I was offered a mask from a box at the counter. I picked up the box, turned it over, and there on the bottom was a warning about the inability of the mask to prevent the transmission of viruses and germs. I pointed this out to the fellow at the front and he told me to put it on anyway.

"This is stupid," I said. "It says right there on the box that this mask will do absolutely nothing to prevent the spreading of a virus. You want me to do something pointless. This is stupid." Nevertheless, he informed me, I would need to put one on to enter the store.

Since I needed something right away I did it, and I hated myself a little for complying.

As I walked through the store I realized, he wasn't afraid of me, or of Covid, or any illness, really. He was afraid of the other shoppers and what they might do if they saw me without a mask. All it would take would be one "Karen" (and I hate that term) and he would be required to "do something" about me. All he wanted was a peaceful store, and not to get involved.

That was the moment I realized that a very, very small number of people are all it takes to control a large population. That, fear, and a healthy dose of just wanting to be left alone to go about their business, will allow the majority to stand around while a small percentage of people villainize and terrorize their chosen minority. Given what I saw during COVID, it's actually a miracle it doesn't happen more often.

When I directed the fundraising film for the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, "A Campaign to Remember," I interviewed survivors. (The interviews are archived at the USHMM in D.C.) I was caught off guard at times and may have an answer to your question, "How?"

Each interview started with the ubiquitous, well-known facts. Then they would transition to regional events, again, mostly known. And then, to a one, they would transition to "I have never told anyone this..." And we went personal.

During most of the recitation of the horrible historical facts, I was in control, just doing an interview. But that was not true at times when we went personal. I recall one time when I totally lost my shit... weeping... had to stop the taping for a break... and it was not because of some horror. It was because of the MUNDANE.

The interviewee told the story of how she had just been gifted her first pair of high heels from her loving father for her sixteenth birthday. But, a day later, the family was hauled out of the house to waiting trucks (and then to the trains). As this woman, a sixteen year old girl, was escorted to the trucks, holding the prized shoes, the gift of love, her neighbor ripped them from her hands and said, "You will not need these where you are going."

Damn. I still weep when I recall the interview. The greatest horror of all was the mundane lack of caring, the lack of humanity, between neighbors. The inability to love. The inability to suffer with others. The lack of compassion. This is the HOW writ large. That is not this nation, yet. We must fight like mad to maintain our ability to love one another and to feel the pain of those who suffer, especially from tyranny, from organized political evil.

To round the circle and reply to your question about Nick Fuentes. The U.S.HMM failed us all. They even banned me from posting on their site, someone who had helped raise $165 million for the endowment, because I dared to note that the Nazis were the National SOCIALIST Workers Party. If we're to prevent the horrors of the past from repeating, we must know the truth. And the truth is: the Nazis were socialists.

And today we have socialists and communists dominating academia. And that ideology, left wing ignorance, has thrown open the door to Campus Islamists. Listen to Nick Fuentes. He claims he learned his views at college. Listen to him. His rhetoric is, beat for beat, Islamist hate. We must recognize the sordid soil in which we have allowed hate to fester.

That soil is socialism (Communism) an ideology that allows one person to tell another... let me take your property, your personal gifts... I need them and you do not. Socialism brings weeping and suffering and cold hearts that lead to hate. That is the HOW.

We have no choice but to build loving personal relationships and to shun those who refuse to participate in community that respects the other as a divine soul. There is no other choice. Those who promote or enable the poison fruit of socialism, communism, left-wing ideology are the WHY and the HOW behind the hate that is rising... rising now to our metaphorical ankles, tomorrow to our waists, and then up to levels where we drown in genocidal hate.

Love one another. Thus we survive. Treat one another as chattel or herd animals and we perish.

Bo Havlik's avatar

Our country is turning, and has been turning, from the Bible and God’s love for many years. “For God so loved the WORLD that He sent His only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER believeth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.” The Bible states that Satan (aka: the god of this world/the father of lies/the tempter and the deceiver) has a mission statement to kill, to steal, and to destroy all relationships, and ultimately all individuals. The Bible states that we, as believers, wrestle not with flesh and blood, but against spiritual wickedness spread abroad by the devil (Satan) and his minions. This world is trending toward the tribulation (aka: Daniel’s 70th week/the day of Jacob’s trouble) and the ONLY answer for one’s life, and life eternal, is a relationship with Yeshua Ha Massiach, the LORD Jesus Christ.

Praise God from Whom all blessings flow.

I wish there were movies or tv series that were watchable for our younger generation that would actually teach history.

Having been born Jewish, and having lived in Germany for 3 years between 1977-1980, I saw and heard more about what caused Germans to allow what happened to all those who died in concentration camps and in the street.

It was fear! Fear of the Gestapo, fear of getting taken away in the middle of the night by the SS for befriending Jews, as my German ex-wifes uncle was, and fear of being reported to authorities for talking against Hitler.

Add to this the terrible economic conditions in Germany before WWII broke out, with promises of better times by Hitler, and it's easy to see that conditions like this could repeat itself as history often does.

My own father suffered antisemitism in L.A. after fighting in the Phillipines during the war, and had to change his last name along with his Jewish partner to be able to start a successful new business.

I have been a Christian for the past 35+ years, and now consider myself a 'completed Jew', for I will always be of Jewish blood that dates back to the Levite tribe, those who guarded the Arc of the Covenant.

However I have seen the need to follow the Law, which would always be impossible to do as we all sin, being transformed into being under the grace of God and His son Jesus Christ, who died on the cross for all our sins, rose three days later, and is always with me. Eternal life awaits all who believe in this.

Will the Holocaust ever happen again? Does history repeat itself? If we don't learn by history, we will suffer to repeat it

The increased antisemitism throughout the U.S , Canada and worldwide is not a good sign, and all it takes for evil to overcome is for enough good men and women to do nothing.

Speak up, speak out and be heard. The one thing that will always overcome fear is faith, and the greatest strength we have is love. LOVE YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, SOUL AND MIND, and LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF!
