WHY are you surprised, Alex?

Exactly what "ehtics" has the NYTimes displayed particularly in the last four years?

Do you really believe that the Times will suddenly sprout a conscience? Integrity?

Look, I do understand your outrage. It's one hell of a slap in the face.

I hope you can take some comfort in realizing that many, many people have given up on ALL corporate/establishment media.

I dunno. I think it's an affront to all of us who have been doing the "dirty work" for years trying to slow-release the truth to our spheres...so that one day the sheeps would get a truth enima.

Even Fox News is crediting the NYT. So this is a setback to all of us imo because this huge story was "free" marketing for the Stack platform.

To me Alex represents us....therefore The Truth. The only thing worse than a lie, is a half truth...therin The Truth is lost...because half truths settle, like distorted spectacles, on the public that can no longer distinguish between the truth and a lie.

Yes he does represent us. All of us who were demonized and marginalized by Fauci et al.

Just about everything Alex wrote during the so-called pandemic helped us to know WTF was going on, and allowed us to make sensible decisions about our health.

Still, the NYTimes sucks.

I sometimes fantasize about a Covid Skeptic Mt. Rushmore.

This is the same mentality that keeps them saying “proven false narrative” about 2020 being “stolen” and “insurrection” when there was never an investigation and which Alex sometimes repeats. It seems Alex is waking up to the fact that many “journalists” have an agenda, not ethics.

Agreed. Though I can understand - and share - the sense of outrage Alex feels.

Times has rarely, if ever, reported a damned thing correctly in it's history (Laurel Leff's book, Buried by the Times, goes into detail about the Times' refusal to cover the Holocaust back in the 30s and 40s).

Although I did like Jim Dwyer's coverage of 9/11 back in the day - now I question how accurate that ever was.

He is playing a part in the script. This is an obvious set up. 🙄

Chris Rufo has been exposing "massive" plagiarism by College Presidents, Professors, Federal Reserve governors, etc. at DEI-Woke institutions and companies over the past 12-15 months. The leftist, progressives lack ethics, standards, critical thinking, and overall ability, and this is yet another example of their egregious behavior.

That AND they got their tails scooped by Alex Berenson. That Wayback evidence should be cause for newsroom resignations along with a “Correction” notice. But I guess those days are gone.

Absolutely on target with this comment!

For what it's worth, I emailed Peter Baker and told him he should have credited you as the source of the story, because you broke it two days ago.

Oooo… I like that ideal!

It's not what they publish. It's all the stories they could investigate and publish and don't.

Also ... We now have visual proof that the children are leading the asylum known as the White House.

Has anyone interviewed the Parkinson's doctor who visited the White House at least 8 times. Has he confirmed that was him? Was he there to check-on Jill Biden?

Has any reporter asked the White House spokesliar if Biden has Parkinson's? If he doesn't, why did this doctor go to the White House so often?

Also, if you have Parkinson's, isn't it common to do a cognitive test and see if the same person has dementia too? I think this is common with Parkinson's patients.

Anyway, much more reporting still undone.

That's boring, let's just make stuff up now!!!

NYT and Ethics in the same sentence?

In reality, is anything the new New York Times publishes legitimate or credible? Even the hyperbolic orange man doesn't have enough superlatives in his vocabulary to accurately describe the hideously low journalistic standards of the Grey Lady.

They NYT are only escalating their decline. And man is it happening fast. I dare say it is done.

I'm gonna sound like a paranoid weirdo, but, I'm going to bet on foreign investors who yearn to see the US fall apart at the seams and descend into madness.

And to make the claim that a free press is impossible, so it's ok for them not to have a free press.

What is it with “people” now a days! Why do they think they can lie, cheat and steal and take credit for something they didn’t do! Sue their pants off, Alex! Show them they can’t get away with doing stuff like this!

Expand full comment

Perhaps it has something to do with so many people in so many different settings who do lie, cheat, steal, take credit for something they didn't do and experience no consequences for such behavior.

Well, when they win a Pulitzer for it you'll really be pissed!

See if you can get the Post, WSJ to write an article about it. Maybe try Tucker, Rogan and Fox News Sheryl Attkisson? Might not go anywhere but give it a shot. The problem is the Times really doesn't care about what any other media thinks. I read somewhere they contribute a lot of money to the Pulitzer committee so any chances of them chastising the Times is roughly zero. Columbia School of Journalism? I wouldn't hold my breath.

Higher some undoumented visitors to walk in front of the Times building holding signs saying The Times Stole my Work! and hand out flyers printing your column. I'd contribute to your Go Fund Me Page.

I have forwarded Alex' article to every substack I'm on. Someone with ties to Christopher Rufo needs to fill him in on this. That would get attention.

Well if we need a lawyer and show who is boss let's do that. Legacy media is corrupt as Uncle Joe is looking at all of the lies they have been telling about COVID-19 for the past 5 years.

The NYT has been ethically challenged for decades, as documented in The Gray Lady Winked. Now that they can be fact checked in real time, their arrogant rule is coming to an end. More eyes are being opened.

Like it or not you must realize crediting you would be discrediting the story to their readers. Anytime I mention you, my Dad still forwards me "The Pandemic's Wrongest Man," which is probably still amongst the top results if you Google your name. Before they could ever credit you again they'd have to credit you for everything else you got right first, and everything they got wrong or lied about, and you must know we are very far away from that day.
