I know more than a few unvaccinated people who have gotten covid or at least they got SOMETHING resembling a cold in the last few weeks. I know a lot of jabbed people that got it, but I'm unjabbed and got it last Monday. It was actually more significant than I expected -- I was pretty sick for 4-5 days and am still coughing up gross stuff.
I'm unvaxxed and have had it twice. Delta last fall, a nasty time. Ba5 last week, not as rugged but still no fun. Oh and a very mild case in January, ba1.
There are no guarantees with this garbage virus. What I do know is I didn't contaminate my body with the mRNA shots. That won't change.
I do have IVM, but I was saving it in case my wife or her mom got it worse than I did.
I went with Quercetin, super high dose C, high dose D, turmeric, nasal rinses with saline and hydrogen peroxide. When my wife got it, she also added Pepcid (I didn't know about it as a treatment at first). She did a lot better than I did, but we both got through it.
I typically take 3000 IU daily after my last bloodwork showed 35 ng/ml. Vit D, Zinc and C. Everyone's physique is different, and I really don't think there are any guarantees. One thing I do know, I'd rather take my chances on covid than on the shots.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure this is my first time, although it ripped through my kids school so I don't know how my wife and I avoided it before. This is the first time we've been sick with any symptoms since all this nonsense began, actually.

My neighbor and his wife both have Covid - going on 2 weeks now, and both vaccinated and boosted. Mr. Neighbor is even a conservative. He acted sheepish when he told me he was vaccinated and has covid. I wished him and his wife well, and said "I'm glad I've not been vaccinated. Not doing so has kept me safe from getting Covid, but if I do get it, since I take absolutely no precautions, I'm quite sure it will be a very mild case." He solemnly agreed.
I know more than a few unvaccinated people who have gotten covid or at least they got SOMETHING resembling a cold in the last few weeks. It was a pretty mild cold for everyone that went away within a week or less. No big woof. HOWEVER, I know of a LOT of vaccinated and boosted folks who have also gotten covid* recently (*covid or whatever cold virus is going around right now that is being called covid) and they all seem to have been a lot sicker than the unvaxxed I know.
I've wondered, too, how much of this is caused by the "expectation" of getting Covid. I'm not saying people are faking being sick, but our minds are ingenious at acting on our thoughts and very responsive to negative thinking. I read a little book titled "As a Man Thinketh" by James Allen years ago, which eloquently describes how one's thoughts influence one's frame of mind and the effect of thought on circumstances. And, some people enjoy being sick or indulging in behavior that leads to being sick. You know the type - being sick relieves them of responsibility, at least for the duration.

I do have IVM, but I was saving it in case my wife or her mom got it worse than I did.
I went with Quercetin, super high dose C, high dose D, turmeric, nasal rinses with saline and hydrogen peroxide. When my wife got it, she also added Pepcid (I didn't know about it as a treatment at first). She did a lot better than I did, but we both got through it.
If you're under 50 you don't really need the ivm unless serious comorbidities.

I typically take 3000 IU daily after my last bloodwork showed 35 ng/ml. Vit D, Zinc and C. Everyone's physique is different, and I really don't think there are any guarantees. One thing I do know, I'd rather take my chances on covid than on the shots.
