I’ve used it for years. My daughter contracted scabies when she interned in NYC. Summertime, skin and packed Subways. She was prescribed IVM but it wouldn’t go away and they wouldn’t prescribe anymore so I did some research and found horse paste. I got enough for her and the whole family. Worked great. Then it was 3 bucks a tube. Now it’s 35 a tube. Total gouging. My husband uses it for Rosacea instead of paying 240 a tube for prescription stuff. Same thing just apple gel instead of lotion. Works great for that too! Don’t be afraid of it. And don’t believe the condescending asses that tell you otherwise.
I'm not sure about the Ivermectin paste although an acquaintance is taking it to prevent COVID. The problem is not the base drug compound which is same for horses or people. It is the additives in the paste that could be problematic. Dosage could be a problem too.
Ironically, the new Merck drug Mulnupiravir being evaluated by the FDA for approval to treat COVID is not new at all. The base drug compound is used to to treat equine encephalitis. Yes, that's a horse medicine too! It costs
$700 per dosage regiment. The government has already ordered some. Follow the money!
As for Ivermectin horse paste, the active ingredient in the brand you buy should be 1.87% ivermectin, and there should not be any other active ingredient. The dosing just has to be done according to your weight. The whole tube (of the brand I bought) is for a 1250 lb horse. The dosing rate in the tube is the same as the normal dosing rate for human beings. (.2 mg per kg.) Calculate your weight, and administer your own dose accordingly. Again, make sure the brand you buy doesn’t have other active ingredients besides Ivermectin. I used Ivermectin paste when I had covid and had no side effects. I wasn’t a bit worried. A couple doctors I respect said the vet version is the same thing…you just have to properly dose it for your body weight.

Over a longer horizon, many (probably most) of the children of the most devoted hysterical covid maniacs will learn in the coming decade that the school closures were pointless, the masks were pointless, and the child vaccines were pointless. Their friends who are living their lives are far less damaged, academically and socially, will remind them often many parents actually did recognize this pointless harm from day. They will also know their parents were proud loud democrats who threw their wellbeing aside willingly like discarded trash (either out of intentional cruelness, or blind ignorance, neither a good look to one's own child). By the time these kids hit 30 they will have long rejected Democrats.

I'm afraid the vax is not selecting for intelligence, not on the whole anyway. In the developed world it's selecting for lack of trust first and foremost. I found about the vaxxes back in 2004 by a chance conversation with a father of a kid with autism. Blacks and hispanics know not to trust too much from hard experience. Much of third world hasn't got problems with COVID that rate any worry, next to their other worries. My caltech friends, my fellow math majors, my family, all are vaxxed. I have managed to keep my younger daughter from getting vaxxed by bribing her to hold off until April.
The only way to find out would be to test various populations in places the vaccines are somewhat optional (available but not compulsory). For us it helps that we can afford not to be compulsory, but we also can play the regulatory/ box checking game because humans create the rules and always create exceptions that can be utilized by anyone willing to put in the effort.

The FDA approved the booster for ages 65+ on 9/22. The Pfizer booster was available right away. All three boosters were available within a month. 87% of the 65+ were fully vaccinated (pre-booster) but now, 2 1/2 months after the boosters were approved, only 49% of the 65+ have been boosted. It will be interesting to see where this 49% number goes but I think there is little doubt that it won't be 87%.
This recent drop in vaccine enthusiasm may be the only thing that squeaks our country (and the world?) through a tiny window of escape from fascist tyranny.

Even tho it's like your friends who have money saying "money isn't everything" and your friends who are married saying "Love isn't everything" still--I have two degrees but everything interesting and useful I learned? I learned in a trade. Sadly I got out of it (it has changed) and decided to try teaching; for 4 years I've witnessed the effects of k-12 education and it is an unmitigated DISASTER. PLUS the kids learned "virtually" (see what I did there?) nothing the last 18 months, and so the cohort I just taught of incoming fresh-people (don't say men)...frighteningly ignorant of the BASICS. College now is just robot indoctrination, with a squishy focus on "mental health" constantly, a vigorous and celebrated dumbing-down (where I teach, in lovely CA, D- is passing)...it is the worst. They mandated the vax and I was like, way to go, institution that prides itself on "diversity"! So of course I'm leaving--this little employment experiment was a joke, no use trying to hang onto it.

They have tried very hard to force everyone to go to college in a similar way to how they've tried to force everyone to get the vax. Not quite as hard, obviously (maybe because they simply didn't have to), but it's the same idea - making it seem like EVERYONE needs a college degree and shaming those in society who don't have one. They try to make it the educated vs. the uneducated, just like the vaxxed vs. the unvaxxed. The problem is we've fallen much more for the 'everyone needs a four-year degree' lie than 'everyone needs the vaccine.' Most misled and upper class parents don't even question the necessity of higher education for their kids and brag about whatever school their kid gets into. Hopefully we can wake up to the education lie sooner rather than later... Think of how much college is pushed on high schoolers. The perception is that you can't do much of anything in life without a college degree, just like they've been trying to make it that you can't do much of anything in life without being vaccinated. We see through them now, so let's stop letting them divide us into us vs. them and think clearly before we let them choose how we live our lives.

My daughter is leaving U of A at the semester because they forced her into zoom classes because she can't medically wear a mask. She's going to GCU next semester -- no mandatory masks, no testing, no forced vaccinations. And guess what? The kids aren't dropping dead at GCU. My daughter is upset because she loves U of A, but it's not worth being trapped in her dorm room. I don't understand the need to vaccinate healthy young people for a virus that poses little or no threat to them. And what happened to critical thinking?
I'm the one that made her stay the entire semester though she came home every other weekend (2 hour drive) ... I didn't want her to have to essentially start over, so she's still on track to graduate on time (or early because of her honors classes.)

They don't have vaccine mandates at U of A -- governor's executive order -- but if they have any wiggle room they'll require it. They give incentives to kids to be vaccinated, they encourage testing every week (no mandate, but they push it HARD and give incentives, like $5 cat cash to use on campus.) My daughter isn't vaccinated and will not be -- especially after watching her best friend who did get vaccinated have her period every 2-3 weeks and lasting for 7+ days. I'm so sad for our young people.

Alex, why not demand Trump renounce the vaccines for our youth and our people. I know three people who passed away as a direct result from the jab ages 13, 21 and 44. More importantly, any drugs such as hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin that have a better safety profile than acetaminophen (Tylenol) should be OTC, just like Tylenol, and just as they are in most "backward" countries.

Looks likely we would have been better with proven therapeutics than the clot shots but people wanted vaccines. People think vaccines make you healthy.
And in that case society would have been better off, though a few would have been saved. I was at the doctor this week, and the receptionist was asking everyone who came in, in the lobby, if they'd gotten their covid vaccine. So we all knew each other's status. The company says the vaxx mandate is for "health reasons", but they won't apply it to the hourly folks who make up the vast majority of the workforce (and the only part of the workforce that travels and interacts with people all day, every day!) because too many of those folks will walk and the business will suffer.
So not mandating the hourlies is not a health decision, it's a business decision. And mandating just the salarieds (who don't travel and don't interact with the general public) is not a health decision OR a business decision.

I have to report my Religious Exemption was excepted by USA Fencing (sport organization) so I will be able to attend National and International Competitions. I wish they didn't have this Jab mandate but I only have to deal with it (testing) a few times a year.
US Squash has a vaxx reqt on all their major tournaments, don't know if they have exemptions process. Anyway, I am a retired recreational unvaxxed player in King County WA and have to get tested within 72 hours of playing. It's a pain, but it keeps me happy and healthy and anyone I play with knows that I'm good, unlike just about everybody else I know who have been vaxxed and therefore don't get tested.
I have to test within 72 hours of travel (next tournament is in San Jose, CA 01/08/22) but the Jabbed don't have to test. If I didn't get the exemption I wouldn't be able to fence in national tournaments starting 01/2022. Prior to the mandate I had test like I am doing with the exemption. International tournaments are very problematic because most countries have strict Jab mandates. Our World / Olympic team have to get Jabbed or retire. Luckily my only possible international tournament would be Vet Worlds and they are in Porec, Croatia 10/24-30/22 and I think they will let people in without the Jab but probably require PCR Test or maybe a short self quarantine. Might be totally open by then.

I’ve used it for years. My daughter contracted scabies when she interned in NYC. Summertime, skin and packed Subways. Then it was 3 bucks a tube. Now it’s 35 a tube. Total gouging. My husband uses it for Rosacea instead of paying 240 a tube for prescription stuff. Same thing just apple gel instead of lotion. I'm not sure about the Ivermectin paste although an acquaintance is taking it to prevent COVID. The problem is not the base drug compound which is same for horses or people. It is the additives in the paste that could be problematic. Dosage could be a problem too.
Ironically, the new Merck drug Mulnupiravir being evaluated by the FDA for approval to treat COVID is not new at all. The base drug compound is used to to treat equine encephalitis. Yes, that's a horse medicine too! It costs
$700 per dosage regiment. The government has already ordered some. Follow the money!

As for Ivermectin horse paste, the active ingredient in the brand you buy should be 1.87% ivermectin, and there should not be any other active ingredient. The dosing just has to be done according to your weight. The whole tube (of the brand I bought) is for a 1250 lb horse. The dosing rate in the tube is the same as the normal dosing rate for human beings. (.2 mg per kg.) Calculate your weight, and administer your own dose accordingly. Again, make sure the brand you buy doesn’t have other active ingredients besides Ivermectin. I used Ivermectin paste when I had covid and had no side effects. I wasn’t a bit worried. A couple doctors I respect said the vet version is the same thing…you just have to properly dose it for your body weight.

In more ways than one. Initial compliance was correlated to a completely reasonable age/ demographic profile that made sense in terms of any risk/ benefit analysis.
However, as exposure to multiple doses increases the risk of harm, that has started to crumble. Booster uptake is increasingly correlated to political affiliation. If this trend continues, then the direct result will be a small reduction in the population of democratic voters (or if a lot of people will really take 7 booster shots, maybe even a large one).
The bigger impact is indirect - they are already converting A LOT of parents. Just note there is already a 14-point difference between opposition to the vaccine mandates among all people who actually have children in their home v wokesters who are cool mandating for other people's kids it because they don't have children and see children as disposable annoyances to society. There is not a 14-point difference between parents who are registered as Democrats/ lean left and are registered as Republicans/ lean right. Does anyone believe this won't translate into voting preferences?
Over a longer horizon, many (probably most) of the children of the most devoted hysterical covid maniacs will learn in the coming decade that the school closures were pointless, the masks were pointless, and the child vaccines were pointless. Their friends who are living their lives are far less damaged, academically and socially, will remind them often many parents actually did recognize this pointless harm from day. They will also know their parents were proud loud democrats who threw their wellbeing aside willingly like discarded trash (either out of intentional cruelness, or blind ignorance, neither a good look to one's own child). By the time these kids hit 30 they will have long rejected Democrats.

I'm afraid the vax is not selecting for intelligence, not on the whole anyway. In the developed world it's selecting for lack of trust first and foremost. I found about the vaxxes back in 2004 by a chance conversation with a father of a kid with autism. Blacks and hispanics know not to trust too much from hard experience. Much of third world hasn't got problems with COVID that rate any worry, next to their other worries. My caltech friends, my fellow math majors, my family, all are vaxxed. I have managed to keep my younger daughter from getting vaxxed by bribing her to hold off until April.
The only way to find out would be to test various populations in places the vaccines are somewhat optional (available but not compulsory). For us it helps that we can afford not to be compulsory, but we also can play the regulatory/ box checking game because humans create the rules and always create exceptions that can be utilized by anyone willing to put in the effort.

The FDA approved the booster for ages 65+ on 9/22. The Pfizer booster was available right away. All three boosters were available within a month. 87% of the 65+ were fully vaccinated (pre-booster) but now, 2 1/2 months after the boosters were approved, only 49% of the 65+ have been boosted. It will be interesting to see where this 49% number goes but I think there is little doubt that it won't be 87%.
This recent drop in vaccine enthusiasm may be the only thing that squeaks our country (and the world?) through a tiny window of escape from fascist tyranny.

Seriously, college is way overrated. Even tho it's like your friends who have money saying "money isn't everything" and your friends who are married saying "Love isn't everything" still--I have two degrees but everything interesting and useful I learned? I learned in a trade. Sadly I got out of it (it has changed) and decided to try teaching; for 4 years I've witnessed the effects of k-12 education and it is an unmitigated DISASTER. PLUS the kids learned "virtually" (see what I did there?) nothing the last 18 months, and so the cohort I just taught of incoming fresh-people (don't say men)...frighteningly ignorant of the BASICS. College now is just robot indoctrination, with a squishy focus on "mental health" constantly, a vigorous and celebrated dumbing-down (where I teach, in lovely CA, D- is passing)...it is the worst. They mandated the vax and I was like, way to go, institution that prides itself on "diversity"! So of course I'm leaving--this little employment experiment was a joke, no use trying to hang onto it.

They have tried very hard to force everyone to go to college in a similar way to how they've tried to force everyone to get the vax. Not quite as hard, obviously (maybe because they simply didn't have to), but it's the same idea - making it seem like EVERYONE needs a college degree and shaming those in society who don't have one. They try to make it the educated vs. the uneducated, just like the vaxxed vs. the unvaxxed. The problem is we've fallen much more for the 'everyone needs a four-year degree' lie than 'everyone needs the vaccine.' Most misled and upper class parents don't even question the necessity of higher education for their kids and brag about whatever school their kid gets into. Hopefully we can wake up to the education lie sooner rather than later... Think of how much college is pushed on high schoolers. The perception is that you can't do much of anything in life without a college degree, just like they've been trying to make it that you can't do much of anything in life without being vaccinated. We see through them now, so let's stop letting them divide us into us vs. them and think clearly before we let them choose how we live our lives.

I think one has to actually own a company and have people under them to be able to make a "good" living in any trade these days. Otherwise I'm guessing they'll cap out at 40-50K at most (except maybe for a temporary job crunch). These myths of the 80K welders are just that - myths.

She's going to GCU next semester -- no mandatory masks, no testing, no forced vaccinations. And guess what? The kids aren't dropping dead at GCU. My daughter is upset because she loves U of A, but it's not worth being trapped in her dorm room. I don't understand the need to vaccinate healthy young people for a virus that poses little or no threat to them. And what happened to critical thinking?

They don't have vaccine mandates at U of A -- governor's executive order -- but if they have any wiggle room they'll require it. They give incentives to kids to be vaccinated, they encourage testing every week (no mandate, but they push it HARD and give incentives, like $5 cat cash to use on campus.) My daughter isn't vaccinated and will not be -- especially after watching her best friend who did get vaccinated have her period every 2-3 weeks and lasting for 7+ days. I'm so sad for our young people.

More importantly, any drugs such as hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin that have a better safety profile than acetaminophen (Tylenol) should be OTC, just like Tylenol, and just as they are in most "backward" countries.

Don't be mad at yourself. The fact that our healthcare system is not about health is something that some of us woke up to before the virus. Am thankful that many now see that although the fact that it took a virus awful. I believe today there are more bad doctors than good ones as they are mostly just snake oil salesmen. Do your research, talk to people, never take what a doctor says as the truth. Test it, get multiple opinions and don't let them be as condescending as many of them are. God gave us all an incredible immune system and it is such a shame that so many doctors do not even study it in medical school. Medical school since the Industrial Revolution assumes that man is essentially a machine and can therefore be tweaked and cranked accordingly. This is of course false. We are not machines. No they aren’t - this is 100% self interested and them going with the flavor of the day. Weak men make bad times, and these companies are all led by business savvy amoral men. Do not mistake this for anything more - we’ll have to face them down again.
LOL corporate america and backbone, isn't that an oxymoron? They do everything for their shareholders--if this was a decision it was a financial calculation, not a moral one. Possible a PR one, but still..."how will this move affect our share price/valuation?" was right up there in the discussion. Please.

Is this for hourly, Union workers or does that include corporate?? Because my husband’s company only mandated it for corporate knowing that hourly would walk.

The company says the vaxx mandate is for "health reasons", but they won't apply it to the hourly folks who make up the vast majority of the workforce (and the only part of the workforce that travels and interacts with people all day, every day!) because too many of those folks will walk and the business will suffer.
So not mandating the hourlies is not a health decision, it's a business decision. And mandating just the salarieds (who don't travel and don't interact with the general public) is not a health decision OR a business decision.
Just goes to show how g/d stupid, unethical, and immoral corporate leadership in America can be.

I have to report my Religious Exemption was excepted by USA Fencing (sport organization) so I will be able to attend National and International Competitions. I wish they didn't have this Jab mandate but I only have to deal with it (testing) a few times a year.
US Squash has a vaxx reqt on all their major tournaments, don't know if they have exemptions process. Anyway, I am a retired recreational unvaxxed player in King County WA and have to get tested within 72 hours of playing. It's a pain, but it keeps me happy and healthy and anyone I play with knows that I'm good, unlike just about everybody else I know who have been vaxxed and therefore don't get tested.
I have to test within 72 hours of travel (next tournament is in San Jose, CA 01/08/22) but the Jabbed don't have to test. If I didn't get the exemption I wouldn't be able to fence in national tournaments starting 01/2022. Prior to the mandate I had test like I am doing with the exemption. International tournaments are very problematic because most countries have strict Jab mandates. Our World / Olympic team have to get Jabbed or retire. Luckily my only possible international tournament would be Vet Worlds and they are in Porec, Croatia 10/24-30/22 and I think they will let people in without the Jab but probably require PCR Test or maybe a short self quarantine. Might be totally open by then.
