The destruction of the environment to mine the needed materials for the EV batteries don’t matter to these climate cultists or the drain on our electric grid (that isn’t run by their “sustainable” elements to charge them. They don’t mind killing hundreds of whales to operate their underperforming ocean placed windmills.
Not to mention the child/slave labor used to mine the minerals needed for the batteries. In Africa they are using small shovels and pails, like kids take to the beach.
Yet our self esteemed govt and wealthy elite who champion the green new (bad)deal don’t seem to care. As long as they get their egos massaged with their virtue signaling venom they are content.
The rotten Sierra Club champions EVs and other unsustainable (haha) climate solutions, like hot dry rock geothermal energy. And probably houses like the one in the article.
