Thank you for providing reason and sanity once again.

Fear is the second most effective brainwashing tool (sleep deprivation is #1). The powers behind the scene have been running a brainwashing campaign for years, all to let us happily/anxiously give more control and money to the government. Remember when people said “bye” ending a phone call, instead of “be safe?”

I'm automatically suspicious of anyone who says "be safe". And anyone wearing a facemask.

I was laughing at the end. Remember the movie called "Outbreak!" ? That didn't help believe me. As someone who thinks Covid was a hoax this is even beyond that. By hoax I mean a fear unjustly magnified to ridiculous levels. I used to laugh at folks wearing a mask 24/7 cuz every time they touched a doorknob or got in a vehicle they were contaminated again. We have lost our common sense and courage in our nation. Now anything that might cause harm is the end of the world. "Oh what a tangled web we weave"

The masks were virtue signalling. I always thought anyone wearing one was either a phony or impossibly gullible.

Here in Austria, one of the global hotspots for coronamania, the litmus test for "are they going to try this again?" is if they put up informational bulletins on the screens at the train station. They did such a thing for measles and RSV; they have not done it for ebola, as far as I have seen. Therefore I (un)scientifically speculate that this isn't going to get blown up too much, at least in Europe.

I do not understand why there is not basic sanitation (mostly: access to clean water) even now when so many aid agencies—private and NGO’s—[we know they are worthless] have spent so much money and time there digging water wells, etc. Perhaps the Chinese will finally be able to bring the continent into the 21st century. It’s really mind-boggling. I’ve been to Africa, central and southern, 10 times in the past 24 years, and honestly not much has changed, except the infrastructure (mostly highways) built by the Chinese. Of course, I know it’s because of corruption, fraud, waste, and abuse, but why oh why can’t someone get these basic things accomplished??!

You can’t be serious? Or is that supposed to be sarcasm?

More likely, how can Trump be blamed?

Because they rejected colonial democracy for communism because that provides the most power and money to the elites. They rejected anything western and so have remained permanent sh…t holes. They are incapable of anything in African languages there is no word for MAINTENANCE that says it all.

In 2015 my wife and I were returning from our trip to Israel with a stop in Paris before returning home. It was the last time we flew coach. I will in the middle seat but the woman in the aisle seat had flown from Africa to Paris prior to getting on my flight back to the US. The problem was that she had contracted the Ebola virus and was coming to the US for treatment. As you can imagine, she was in a very bad way throughout the flight and did her best not to spew her germs on me. When we arrived at Dulles airport, 2 men questioned everyone leaving the baggage area to find out where they had travelled and whether they had been in contact with anyone in Africa who might have been ill. It was admittedly a fairly primitive effort on our part to isolate individuals who might have been infected with the Ebola virus. Of course in the case of that African woman who had sat next to me, she could no longer walk and was taken off the plane in a wheel chair and taken directly to the hospital. I can't say how she did once hospitalized because I did not know her personally. As you can imagine though, for days after that I wondered whether I was going to get sick because of my contact with her but fortunately I never became ill. I confess that that experience played a big part in my determination to pass on the MRNA vaccines when the topic become COVID and not EBOLA. I just figured that if I were ever going to get sick, it would only be because of contact with my granddaughters whose occasional colds invariably made me sick. Kids have very powerful germs when they are ill and for some reason I have no immunity against them. Otherwise, I never get sick.

Thank God Fauci isn’t around or we’d be locked down again🤦‍♀️

Almost FEELs as though this continual messaging in just a primer of sorts or normalizing EBOLA to an extent, and then one day a lab created NEW bioweapon hits with EBOLA like effects along with other side effects. Is it ME? LOL

If Ebola isn’t enough Lyme disease is forefront too as it’s a really bad tick season. This is also convenient as Pfizer is coming out with a new Lyme disease vaccine in early ‘27 from what I hear. Just trying to help. Lol

The difference between Ebola and Lyme Disease is the former didn't leak from a lab.

James Schwartz's avatar

Are you sure about that? The CIA radiated them in the 60’s and released them in Virginia. Just sayin.

Notice that all “communicable diseases” are really just convenient labels to track and policy-make over already disadvantaged groups of people?

I read Preston's book a few years ago. It's pretty good. For the most part, it is about . . . a lab leak in Northern Virginia. I remember being quite surprised, given how The Hot Zone was a famous bestseller only 25 years before, that by 2020 the media narrative was that lab leaks never ever happen.

Since then I have read a number of other books about biological research. Almost all of them are essentially about . . . lab leaks. Apparently, labs leaks are and always have been pretty damned common. Almost inevitable. The last human being to die from smallpox caught it through . . . a lab leak.

After dealing with an HOA matter, I am amazed at how little people use their brains. So panic over a lethal but limited virus no longer surprises me.

Democrats and the three letter Federal Medical Agencies are experts at creating crisis, causing public panic and spending money (someone else's not their own). But don't dare bomb a drug boat that is part of the illegal drug import industry that kills 100,000 Americans but send in the med people and millions of dollars to fight a disease that kills 300 a year. Makes perfect sense to a Democrat don't you say?

I have travelled to the Congo, (DRC) more than a dozen times. When the authorities declare an emergency, something like a localized quarantine goes into effect. For Ebola, that means a possible death sentence. The resistance is fierce. Nurses hate their jobs - they routinely get attacked.
